NXT MAINSTREAM ADOPTION STRATEGY

Steps:

1) Push Anonymous Messaging ONLY on WORLD CLASS DESIGNED ANDROID/IPHONE APPS (OUR FLAGSHIP APPS).

2) Make these APPS available on Google Play/App Store.

3) USE the current market situation to our advantage AS NO ONE IS NOW SURE ABOUT USING THERE MOBILE FOR SECURE COMMUNICATION....The NSA sent us a blessing in disguise....AN UNTAPPED MARKET.

4) Once Nxt Messaging has gained a strong following 100,000 - 500,000 downloads we start to Unlock/roll out other features of NXT ....ie. auction/storage/payment/Asset exchange/marketplace etc....thru regular updates once users start using the messaging app they become lock into the larger NXT ecosystem.

5) My real world examples are LINE & WECHAT....both started as msg apps but NOW OFFER IN APP PAYMENTS.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xioami sold 100,000 smartphones inside the WECHAT messaging app last month.

The above is a Strategy for gaining MAINSTREAM ADOPTION which will give us payment possibilities without the need to push payment as our main selling point....this is be a unique approach for a crypto currency.

I like that Nxt Navbar on https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/index.php

THERE SHOULD BE SOME NOTIFICATION THAT POPS UP OR SOMETHING SO A NEW VISITOR KNOWS IT'S THERE.

Let Ripple act as Gateway for Fiat....we use them as middle man.

thats fine for now with peercover, but Id prefer options for direct country's fiat/NXT exchange.  Dont want ripple getting to powerful

they would just be one of many....its competition...there can be X amount of Gateways.

Ripple is not the only one...I was mostly trying to push the idea of integrating other operators to act as gateways who are already up and running.....it would greatly speed things up.

Maybe we could create an asset organisation in some exotic liberal country? Would you pay me for living in Seychelles or in Panama? Cheesy

If one were truly committed to creating a NXT/Fiat gateway... the best way to go would be through a Belize International Business Company (IBC) that is owned by a Belize Trust.

Here is how you do it:

a. You create the Belize Trust (Trustees, Beneficiaries, etc.)
b. The Trust incorporates the IBC; thus the Trust is the owner of the IBC and not the beneficiaries of the Trust.
c. IBC creates a business presence online (website, NXT Asset Exchange gateway, etc.)
d. All bank, merchant, exchange, etc. accounts are opened by the IBC.
e. Belize bank account is in $.
f. The physical address associated with all accounts is the corporate address of the IBC.
g) There is NO TAX for income earned from IBCs outside Belize.

You are looking at $1500-2000 to set this up and around $1000 yearly expenses to renew the Belize contracts.

And YES... it is all COMPLETELY LEGAL!!!   Wink

Which brings us back to the question of trust...  Wink

Normally banks offer a online transfer confirmation system similar to a multisig I think...so you could authorize 5 people to confirm each transfer (by ticket device which some banks normally give out) or It can;t go thru....this would slow things down but it would increase trust.

Pls explain more how we can do this in a decentralized way ASAP....thank you....also trust how to fix that

I was proposing a solution to those that couldn't pursue the NXT/Fiat gateway due to extremely high taxes.

Tax solution...Check

You should get some reward for this one Wink

GREAT IDEA

1) So the USD would be deposit to this account...by wire transfer or western union etc...

2) to withdraw USD IBC would wire money to the recipient...so they will still be wiretransfer delays & fees

Edit: would this require serious manpower?

Online Banking has made these transfers very easy, just make sure the Belize Bank you choose offers it. Actually, the bank account does not even have to be with a Belize Bank as long as you find a bank that would be willing to open an account for the IBC and NOT you. It could be in any country... plus the IBC can offer deposits through an online payment service through its merchant account and customers will be able to deposit even with their Debit/Credit Cards. If income is earned outside Belize, there is NO TAX.

Pls explain more how we can do this in a decentralized way ASAP....thank you....also trust how to fix that

edit: we still need to trust the person doing the transfers

There are laws in place to curb flight of capital to foreign shores.

something along the lines of Localbitcoin....could get around this capital flight thing...if the fiat doesn;t leave the country then its not really capital flight.

Is anyone going to become a gateway between NXT and fiat when Asset Exchange is launched? That would be interesting to know how trust issue is planned to be resolved.

PS: Rewards will be given to 3 best implementations.
Rewards to 3 best implementations of the gateways or of the 3 best ideas for the trust issue?

Implementations.

Let Ripple act as Gateway for Fiat....we use them as middle man.

There is nothing stopping them from buying an Asset Tag.

This is actually a good idea but we would need ripple and zapper to scale much faster.

they will scale precisely because of the demand from NXT.

look how a bit of Nxt trading drove Ripple's trading volumes...I think they have the structure in place....they just don't have any demand or volume.

This is what Nxt brings to the table......HUGE DEMAND

Edit:
Each country would have different rules to handle this sort of thing....so solutions would have be tailored to specifics countries.

Anyhow I also try to take part and think of something.

What date & time range is the BCNext press conference?

Edit: or is that yet to be determined.

think you got it wrong, no press conference just 3 questions to answer and he didnt tell he will answer them right away..

Pin

I know...but it still kinda fits the definition of a press conference.

Edit:  Grin ...i'm just a little excited...there has been BIG progress and now we go to the next level.

If asset exchange API is ready, test servers should be put up now so that others can develop clients too. I see no sense in waiting.

+1

@CfB

This idea is being pushed by Neon....can it work in Nxt aswell?

@Spam on the network (Instant messaging). We have a very nice system for that. To start a chat you will have to pay the minfee from then on if you stay at a given rate of traffic per minute, the chatting is free.  If you want to upload or transfer files, you will pay per byte, and this rate per kb or mb is set on a traffic marketplace.

Is it possible to map traffic on the Nxt network and arrange something similar to this?

Edit: How similar is Arbitrary messaging to the above?

It could work.

Arbitrary Messages r for other purposes. What u described is supposed to be done by Service Providers.

So if I can clarify more....

1) Nxt is able to do CHAT.

2) Service providers can track traffic usage, flows, etc on the Network

3) Nxt can have a traffic marketplace enabled thru service providers.

I try to keep upto date on things but i;m still confused as to who or what is a service provider.

Well, just other accounts. Not sold.. The current volume is only $12k.

Ripple is taking volume away & Nxtchg.com...did you see how Ripple volume jumped once people started trading on their platform.

Edit: IF we trade on other platforms it doesn't show up on Nxt volume via coinmarketcap.

But it's only temporary fix for now.
