Is anyone going to become a gateway between NXT and fiat when Asset Exchange is launched? That would be interesting to know how trust issue is planned to be resolved.
PS: Rewards will be given to 3 best implementations.
Rewards to 3 best implementations of the gateways or of the 3 best ideas for the trust issue? Implementations. Let Ripple act as Gateway for Fiat....we use them as middle man. There is nothing stopping them from buying an Asset Tag. Edit: Each country would have different rules to handle this sort of thing....so solutions would have be tailored to specifics countries. Anyhow I also try to take part and think of something.

I've asked before in the API thread, but got no answer that I was able to understand:
It is said that an account that has no public key in the BC yet (no outgoing transactions) is more prone to a brute force attack.
Could anyone explan why? I don't get it. My idea is that a brute force attack works like this: dictionary words or random input generates a public and private key pair, the later being the account number. I see no difference in the chances of finding an existing account number, when using this procedure, depending on if the public key is in the bc or not.
To avoid a situation similar to Bitcoin when we don't know if Satoshi lost his keys or just waiting for 1 BTC = 1000000 USD price. In Nxt, if someone doesn't reveal his public key even in 5 years, we can guess that he lost the key (or has balls of steel). that's cool! and fair!

Today I needed to restart client and java process 4 times. F5 doesn't help. client is 0.5.0. In command prompt windows sometimes are errors, sometimes not. After last crash and after F5, client gives "java.lang.NullPointerException" error after entering password. Something weird. Checked task manager, java uses 500 MB of memory after last time client crashed. No errors in command prompt window.

This is what Nxt brings to the table......HUGE DEMAND

Maybe we could create an asset organisation in some exotic liberal country? Would you pay me for living in Seychelles or in Panama?

Happened the same to me. 3 times in a row today.

I see some public nodes - node1.nxtbase.com, node21.nxtbase.com are corrupt, many weights are zero or negative. 11, 31, 41 (not looked further) gives "java.lang.NullPointerException"

I'm using 0.5.0 . Maybe is a compatibility problem with 0.5.1?

Ok... hadn't sync'd my Bitcoin wallet for ages because I have been dry of BTC a while now, so... I fire that baby up just in case one of you wonderful Homo Sapiens decided to lend me 5 BTC... AND GUESS WHAT? I am getting 65% AVERAGE CPU Usage for bitcoin-qt and ONLY 0.20% AVERAGE CPU Usage for java!!!!! ROFLMAO THIS IS SO OVER PEOPLE... IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!!! Yeah tell that to the other millions. So far NXT is in a tiny bubble of it's own. Everyone is focused on Bitcoin and not enough recognition for NXT - yet.

We have been waiting to see the Exchange functionality. We are ready with the legal stuff for opening a gateway in Bulgaria and working on legality for Ireland. Not posting cause we want a reward just as to express out interest. Obviously will not say no to an eventual reward

I do expect some of the first implementations not coming from U.S. There are just so much red tape going on here.
