2221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] WeTrust - For the People, By the People! on: January 09, 2018, 03:48:41 AM
I think the time for WeTrust hit the first page of coinmarket is now. It is a great project that doesn't have so many supporters spreading lies like other coins. We need more exchanges for sure.
2222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano(ADA) get to $3 by End of Q1 on: January 09, 2018, 03:42:24 AM
Charlie was at MIT today. I wonder how many founders of Cryptocurrency could go to a university and talk about their project and not about their price in this speculative market.
Could the founder of TRON, Verge and others shit projects talk about their code? ADA could hit 3 dollars in less than a month. But what is important to know is that they will exist until December. We can not say the same about other projects.
2223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KNC is the future of cryptocurrency exchanges on: January 09, 2018, 03:36:36 AM
I think we are still far away to see all the potential of KNC. But is indeed a great project that would value at least 70 dollars this year. Their tokens could be really useful and we see as decentralized exchanges and ways to trade things are necessary today.
2224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My 2018 portfolio on: January 09, 2018, 03:26:14 AM
I like how you divided your portfolio into what exactly this coins do. People usually buy and compare things without know their true utility. But from your list, I miss the most important thing, a currency, and store of value. From this list I bet on EOS, Stellar, Bitcoin Private and WETrust.
2225  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-08] Bitcoin Faces Bear Move as Price Drops Toward $15K on: January 09, 2018, 03:12:55 AM
Unfurtaly most of the people were expecting that China would go back to the game and now we know they will not be back and the mining could have to move to another country. And we have the Korean government start to make some changes that will make more difficult trade coins.

But the thing is that there is a lot of projects that are just scams and will soon disappear and people will start to be more careful of what they invest and the money will go directly to Big projects and to the King.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-01-08]Tron, Cardano, Verge and Ripple – Four Cryptocurrencies That Act.... on: January 09, 2018, 03:08:43 AM
Put Cardano on this list because the founder of a project(EOS) that competes directly say something bad is just unbelievable. In the steem where @dan talk about Cardano there is a great comment saying about their other projects. He is a great developer and has built amazing projects like BitShare, Steem and EOS but he clearly has some problems when dealing with people.
2227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZRX just passed $1 Billion market cap! on: January 09, 2018, 12:22:36 AM
Just checked that. Really amazing. I have bought when it was less them 100 bi and was with a little doubt about the token price. The idea and utility of the protocol is revolutionary, but I still do not know how much the token should worth. But I have hold and is awesome that more people decided to check this project.

ZRX, KNC, TRUST and OMG solid projects that use ERC20. Everything up and heading to 1 bi
2228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano Lists ADA Futures on BitMEX on: January 09, 2018, 12:10:35 AM
This looks really interesting. ADA is not being listed on small exchanges. Only in big ones. This shows how the project is great and well thought. They are not rushing to get any penny. I wonder what will be the next one?! Maybe GDax, Kraken or Polo.
2229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / CEO of porn cryptocurrency disappears with investor money(Fantasy Market) on: January 09, 2018, 12:02:19 AM
https://nypost.com/2018/01/08/ceo-of-porn-cryptocurrency-disappears-with-investor-money/
A cryptocurrency built for watching live-streaming porn is turning out to be a buzzkill.

Four investors in the digital currency, called Fantasy Market, claimed last week that its shadowy CEO disappeared with their money — and has not refunded all their investment despite repeated requests.

The alleged inability of investors to trade out of the Fantasy Market tokens, or FMtokens, could stand as a warning to all investors in the red-hot cryptocoin market.

Jonathan Lucas, the brains behind FMtokens, was aiming to raise as much as $25 million last year, according to Lucas’ white paper — the investment plan circulated among investors.

Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ethereum and ripple, with their values soaring, are among the buzziest investments on Wall Street.

FMtokens, like other initial coin offerings, or ICOs, usually have limited use — unlike cryptocurrencies — and often use the technology supporting ethereum.

Cryptotokens are also wildly popular investment assets. They are thinly regulated and are subject to wild swings in valuation.

Because of their volatility and lack of regulation, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton in December voiced his concern about Main Street investors jumping into ICOs with dreams of making a fortune.

Clayton’s statement came too late for the irate FMtoken investors.

The venture flamed out in November after The Post questioned Lucas for about an hour on how his ICO would work and about statements he made in the white paper.

“Jonathan Lucas (most likely an alias) has scammed us and run off with the cryptocurrency,” one irate investor fumed to The Post, more than two months after investing in Fantasy Market.

It’s unclear how close Lucas got to his $25 million fundraising goal. He told a reporter in November he had raised less than $2 million.

But he boasted in September in private chats seen by The Post to being just 13 percent away from raising $5 million — which translates to about $4.4 million.

Lucas, who has not been charged with any wrongdoing, didn’t return a request for comment.

One investor who got a refund is still unhappy.

“[Recently] I wrote threatening to file police and FBI reports,” a second aggrieved investor told The Post. “Within hours they refunded me ethereum with a dollar amount equal to what I had contributed in early September, but since the coin has more than tripled in value since then, they kept the rest of my contribution, essentially stealing quite a lot of money from me.”

Investors had to buy FMtokens with ethereum, whose value has risen 160 percent in the last month.

A third investor claimed that Lucas appears to be actively trading on cryptocurrency exchanges.

“I’m not in the business of scamming people, or again, I wouldn’t have used my real name for the project,” Lucas wrote in a Nov. 14 chat.
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: January 06, 2018, 10:20:10 PM
People talking about price and not market cap just shows how Bitcoin should move the ".". We should start to use mBTC or something else so this coins that came to knowere and are just "cheap" could disappear. If a coin is 10 cents that doesn't mean anything.
2231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IoTChain - The IOTA of China on: January 06, 2018, 10:17:45 PM
Lol no. Another scam saying that they are "The X from China".

This is just stupid, it is worst they say Uber for X. Nobody knows how China will handle Bitcoin and Blockchain. Maybe we will never see again. Maybe they will be banning everything. Just copy some code and put China because there one Chinese in the team is stupid.
2232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Palm Beach Confidential - January 2018 on: January 06, 2018, 10:07:32 PM
Anyone could image if he suggests Cardano ADA. He like to suggest projects that are a platform, he likes to know the devs, I think he knows Charlie.

He always talks about the foundation, the uses, and roadmap. I think Cardano would be an awesome choice.

With 0 product so far and a huge marketcap I dont really think thats gonna be the pick

You could send 1 ADA to another person using their wallet. How is this not a product?

2233  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-06] Former Iced Tea Firm Plans to Mine Bitcoin in the Nordic Region on: January 06, 2018, 10:03:12 PM
This is funny but shows how capitalism should work. If they have the money to invest in something that will be way more profitable, they should. We see tons of Silicon Valley VCs that have just stop talking about other business and just talk about Bitcoin.
2234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin on: January 06, 2018, 02:56:34 AM
Why someone that has a Big Stake would never try to double spend their coins? Is it possible to make an attack on a given exchange trying to change their Node and force a double spend?
I think RaiBlocks could be the first project where we will see one billion just disappears in less than a day.

2236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔔 RaiBlocks teams [ico] 💰 New name is DADI 🎯 on: January 06, 2018, 02:47:16 AM
It is in the wrong section and I think strange that so many new members came here first. And what this has to do with RaiBlocks?

RaiBlocks doesn't even have a proper Blockchain.
2237  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-1-1]Bitcoin's gender divide could be a bad sign, experts say on: January 06, 2018, 02:37:38 AM
It is just stupid assuming that. Bitcoin is a global thing and everyone that wanna join could join. This article does not show any evidence that has something that makes difficult to woman invest more in Bitcoin. The expert just wanna find some motive to call a bubble.
2238  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-1-5] Mark Zuckerberg wants to introduce cryptocurrency to facebook on: January 05, 2018, 11:00:37 PM
Clickbait. He hasn't said anything about introducing it to facebook, yet the title suggest that he's already decided to do it. He has not!
Also, the fact that he might be interested in cryptocurrencies doesn't say much about which one he's into. It can be dogecoin for all we know.
And this: He has always claimed that Facebook’s mission is to “give power to people CIA.”

Exactly. People are still spread this. He is saying that he wants to study and understand better everything that happens about cryptographic and decentralize systems.

That is because Facebook could be killed if people start to want platforms that only work decentralized and with strong cryptographic. The coin market is part of some changes that will occur. The world will be changed forever.
2239  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-05] Hardware Bitcoin Wallets Not Vulnerable to Spectre Attacks, Funds S on: January 05, 2018, 10:56:08 PM
Why need they say that? It is obvious that they don't, they do not have a chip, But you will still need to use a computer if you want to move coins and that computer is vulnerable.
2240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-01-05] Texas Regulator Orders Bitconnect to Cease and Desist Marketing... on: January 05, 2018, 10:54:05 PM
This news is great and sad. It is sad that we still need government stop the Ponzi schemes. Why we, as a community, can't stop a project like that be associated with cryptocurrency?

Why the sites that ranked coins still put this scans on their lists? Why exchanges still trade?
