Talking about China, have you noticed that it no longer says "Mainland China" or "Hong Kong" as place of origin on Chinese sellers pages on Ebay. It now says "Greater China" on all of them, sometimes followed by a city, including Hong Kong.

I noticed it is impossible to compete with Chinese sellers as they don't pay shipping.

I don't know who your other backs are but there is no way I'd bench Aaron Jones ever.  He is a sold rb1 almost every week.  The Packers all just sucked, it happens.  Jones will get his ff points all year.  If you don't mind me asking what rbs you have in that league?

Melvin Gordon III
Phillip Lindsay
Tony Jones Jr.
Le'Veon Bell
Cordarrelle Patterson

The only week you should bench Jones is when he is on a bye.  Yes there might be one week that one of those bench players would score more but at the end of the season Jones (possibly gordon) will have by far the most total ff points out of those running backs.  Gordon was help with one long run against my stanky giants team.

In actuality if I had another option I would sit him for a week while GB gets their shit together. But as you can see everything I have is either a committee back or a backup so I really don't even have the choice of taking a chance. If I had Latavious I might even play him this week. Either way its moot he won't give me 1.7 points again this week and hopefully will at least get one in the end zone. But I seriously think Greenbays problems are deep rooted and are not going to get fixed for at least the next few weeks. Just the look on rogers face spoke volumes.

And Yeah seeing Gordon bust off that run and vindicate my pick of him early in my drafts really made my day. Smiley

Would Trey Sermon be included in the team on week 2 or will San Francisco make Elijah Mitchell their rb1? I speculate that there might be more effort to play Mitchell as rb1 than considering Sermon in the team as rb2 or rb3. I have requested for a change in ESPN already hehehe. Also, did Covid Cam get a free opportunity for a reunification with Ron Rivera?

Just so you know you can set the order of your waiver picks and bulid logic ladders.

For instance I put in a trade on ... shit it will take too long to type so let me show you the result.

"A player involved has already been dropped" means that I already used him in a waiver but I had to put that guy in for all my waiver attempts because I wanted him dropped before the next guy in my list I wanted dropped and then I had to put that next guy for add drop in every one of those players on the list and so on so I had about 16 actual moves setup to just drop 3 guys and try for 5. You can see at the end I didn't get any of those guys because I had already gotten the ones I wanted and the guys lower on my list didn't get filled.

Edit: shit forgot how to bold in code is it "/" ? Damn running out of time and can't be bothered to look it up now. Having memory issues in your old age suck big time. Smiley

Is the waiver wire random each week meaning every week a new person has a Crack at the top slot?  I never bothered to look so I don't know how it's calculated.  Either way waiver wire is an important piece to the championship puzzle Wink

HAH, with your great draft you don't have to worry bout nowaiver wire baloney!

thats for them Plebs! Cheesy

I'm not sure if it flips each week or if you go up the ladder if you don't use your pick on espn.

OK just looked it up so this is the way the order is set on ESPN standard default leagues:

Quote
Waiver schedule
Following each week of fantasy play, each team's waiver position in Standard Leagues is reconfigured according to the team's position in the standings -- the team with the worst record receives the best waiver position (No. 1) and the top team receives the worst waiver position.

https://www.espn.com/fantasy/football/ffl/story?page=fflruleswaiverwalk

So I should get first pick all season!!!

Greenbay was a massive shock to everyone this week and to me it looked like Rogers was timid and afraid and had no faith in his O-Line. Maybe his antics are coming back to bite him in the ass and his boys are truly pissed off at him. I think it might be dangerous to play GB players this week even though their opponent should be a cake walk.

I think that surprised everyone.  I had Rodgers on the bench for that game, but I started Aaron Jones and he didn't do much either.  I'm not going to dump either of them, in fact I think I'll keep Jones on my roster for the Detroit match.  I hope he does better this week.  As for Rodgers, I'll give him one or two more weeks to see if he gets in the NFL mindset before making my decision.

Yeah I have Aaron Jones on my other league and I want to bench him but its a 12 team league so I would really be stretching for his replacement.

Well week one is in the books and I don't know about you guys but me and Suchmoon had a real close game that came down to Monday night. He Had ravens QB and Raiders RB and I had Ravens D and a 35 or so point lead with which Lamar can cover easily alone so I was a bit worried and rightfully so!

It was quite exciting indeed. I was worried about Jacobs being questionable before the game but he delivered big time, limping and all.

What pisses me off is that ESPN put me in 7th position on the wire, which basically means I can't get the players I want... even though my team is like 3rd worst in the league.

I'm not sure how the waiver order was setup, I think it is the inverse of the final draft round order for the first week. Which is to say the same order as the draft as that how it works out with a snake draft style.

But far be it from me to take advantage and grab a RB that I don't need nor want! Tongue

Trade offers anyone. Wink

WOW The activity we have seen during the past hours on the waiver wire and free agency is impressive, the league is finally coming alive! I was interested in grabbing Higbee but Hueristic beat me to it, not a big deal but this still means I have to play Gronk exclusively and it could come back to bite me in some games.

Another newbie question, when I select to grab someone on the waiver wire, is that information visible to other members of the league or is it a secret?

Well I guess I could be talked into trading Higbee, I'll take a broken down old husk like gronk just to be amiable. Smiley

At least I didn't have to wait long to know I was done as Raiders only handed of to Jacobs for massive chunk and score plays! Ravens D let me down big time and I have booted them to the wire. I would not recommend picking them up! Cheesy

I'm really Glad suchmoon won by more than 5 points as Winston put up 5 more points than Cousins and I put Cousins in last minute as a safer play and I would have been really pissed at myself if that was the move that cost me the week. Smiley

Lions were also a surpise and looks like they can feed us some points this year in the right circumstances.

But I think the biggest surprise was Houston as all the pundants were saying they were going to go the year without a win and you should choose your streamers against their D and a host of other crap that wasn't even remotely close to reality.

The suck teams are still the same as the last 5 years and it doesn't matter how those talking heads try to spin it the Falcons, Jaquars and Jets will be the teams to beat to snail snot yet again this year.

Sorry about the delayed post but have had personal things to deal with lately and didn't want to just post a shitty one liner for week one opener.

Looks like I have a long climb out of the depths here but I shall keep moving up this chart!

Mindrust's situation was not selling too much too soon in terms  "on the way up" but instead selling during a pretty decently sized crash and having relatively high conviction that the crash was going lower..

He allowed Masterluc to fuck him over with one of his retarded calls.

Serious rook move.

Yeah... software raid seems to be the best right now. Some systems like old refurbished servers from HP and Dell, don't really allow you to not use the built-in hardware RAID, but you can always just configure it as JBOD or something and let the software handle the raid.

Then there's unraid and freenas / truenas.

Software JBOD is the absolute worst method for data integrity.

It literally increases your chances of catastrophic data loss exponentially.

raid 6 is safest.

As was noted previously Jbear is a expert on the subject, I miss him.

Errr.. I was not advocating software JBOD, but the hardware raid that can not be turned off for certain machines. You force it to treat each individual drive as separate. Then you configure your software raid to use those drives and mirror them or do raid as required.

That just needed to be clarified so no-one makes that mistake when setting up a node and expects it to be bullet proof.

He's probably busy counting his many BSV coins...

In all seriousness he never really tried to shill he was just a misled fool in that regard.

What he was is the most articulate and knowledgeable "troll" we had in this thread and compared to all the pieces of shit we deal with here on a daily basis I found the vast majority of his posts to be insightful as well as factually accurate. He was a intelligent devil's advocate.

Except where big blocker shit came in!
