Any CBDC implemented by the Fed must be open, permissionless, and private. This means that any digital dollar must be accessible to all, transact on a blockchain that is transparent to all, and maintain the privacy elements of cash.

Sounds familiar but I just can't put my finger on it.

The coin can't be 'private' and have a transparent blockchain at the same time.  This guy's pretty confused.

2true but view keys allow for that so its an arguable point.

Bottom line is he gets that privacy is a right.
1462  Economy / Speculation / Since the airdrop was canceled Ethereum transactions to Ukraine have dramaticall on: April 02, 2022, 06:20:44 AM
A bit more proof Ethtards are nothing but scumbags.

However, an overview of the Ethereum blockchain data shows that the vast majority of transactions over the past five weeks – from when Ukraine started accepting crypto donations until the end of March – occurred during a span of less than two days, when donors believed they would receive an airdrop in return for their contribution.

From what I gathered Arians would come in late and nix plays that Brady and the Offensive Coordinator had already spent time on the field working out.

You don't fuck with the mans work ethic or time left.

I can relate.

Today, I introduced a bill prohibiting the Fed from issuing a central bank digital currency directly to individuals. Here’s why it matters:

I can't believe these scammers actually think 9 nodes constitutes decentralization!

Quote
Sky Mavis’ Ronin chain currently consists of 9 validator nodes. In order to recognize a Deposit event or a Withdrawal event, five out of the nine validator signatures are needed. The attacker managed to get control over Sky Mavis’s four Ronin Validators and a third-party validator run by Axie DAO.

The validator key scheme is set up to be decentralized so that it limits an attack vector, similar to this one, but the attacker found a backdoor through our gas-free RPC node, which they abused to get the signature for the Axie DAO validator.

The Level of retardness ETH continues to display is astounding.

1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 29, 2022, 10:40:15 PM
While price does its thing from day to day, anyone can run a node. Just do it, you'll learn a thing or two about the network along the way as well. We need more nodes for the day Monero inevitably hits the spotlight (and people are forced to pay the price of XMR's value).

https://monerohash.com/nodes-distribution.html

I have run a node for years...  On that map, I can zoom in, and there is a dot about 2 miles from my house.  I always wonder if that is actually me... or if someone else in my neck of the woods does it too...  My node may be part of the ones consolidated into my service provider.

Mine was in the middle of a lake.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 29, 2022, 09:14:42 PM
But unless Monero actually flipped bitcoin, which I would give it about a 0.02% chance of doing, then it will need the emission to remain secure.

FTFY. Wink

Get the Paypaler's on the phone and talk about Bitcoin and Blockchain. You could talk them into becoming a coiner.  Destroy Paypal from within.  Grin

Nice attack vector, someone that makes this service will be set for life.

*I have no use for paypal since they started charging for fleabay purchases.

I used fleabay once.
Some dude in Australia bought my S4 Ant miner. He credited my pp account.
Come to find out, I had to pay twice the selling price to ship it.  Fuck that!!  (my screw up, I didn't state buyer pays shipping, I was a naïve noob)
So I refunded the buyer, and cancelled sale.
Buyer got all hot and bothered and told me I was a scammer cuz he couldn't get his S4 miner with free shipping to Australia, lol.

Both PP and fleabay have gone to shit but every once in a while I still buy things rather than support Amazon.

There really isn't anything left worthy of support.

Its pretty fucked up when wally world is the best choice.
*I boycotted then forever until there was no other choice.

remedied. Grin

Looks like phishing scam? Or is it legit and PayPal’s own phishing technique?

Whatever, the term “confirm your identity” is a trap.

I dumped a few GPUs a few months ago and they tried to bone me so I blocked them on my bank and ghosted them. Wink
