Some more comments
Deposit 0.0007 BTC worked as expected.
Deposit 0.00014 BTC had a 0.00000001 BTC Fee deducted. Why is this?
After this, my balance was 0.00209999 BTC.
I tried to figure out the site, I really did, but there's not much information to go on. I would like to know for instance how a bank transfer with Escrow would work.
Since I couldn't find it, I continued to test Withdrawals. Withdrawing 0.00209999 BTC wasn't allowed, I had to deduct the fee. So I withdrew 0.00152499 BTC, and it would take my entire balance (0.00209999 BTC).
When I check Withdrawals, it shows:
Amount: 0.00152499
Fee: 0.00057500
My Balance is 0 BTC. So far, this is as expected.
However, my wallet received only 0.00102499 BTC. That means an additional 0.0005 BTC fee was taken out, but this is not mentioned anywhere. You may want to fix this.

This is the time and date on which I manually started my update. It uses the full Merit data available up to theymos' latest data dump. In other words, it doesn't matter if this says 2018-07-28_Sat_01.09h or 2018-07-29_Sun_09.03h, it all uses the same weekly data dump. I don't exactly know what cut off time theymos uses to create the data dump. I've just downloaded the latest version, and my system shows Jul 27 04:52 as file date. What I would prefer to have (if you can do it, and readily to spend your time to do it) is:
The last week of June is from 24th to 30th, and the first week of July started from 1st to 7th, right?
We should better have weekly reports on this standard time frame each month. If you use this file, you can split it into any time frame you want: Permanent links (updated weekly):theymos' raw data (format: time amount msg user_from user_to) Full list (full data since January 24, 2018; not limited to 120 days). For example, for my Merit history graphs, I use 5 days (5*24*3600 seconds) from the first Merit ever sent as a time frame. This was convenient for me to process the data, and in the end it doesn't really matter, as long as it's consistent. From your old weekly reports, data for the first week of July likely started from 30th June to 6th July. It's definitely wrong. It's all data that was available at that moment. Update: for any analysis you want to do, you should only use my latest data. It includes all older data, so ignore my older posts. |

I found that there is at least one limitation of weekly data report published by @LoyceV.
It is the start day of each month is arbitrarily due to the start day when the topic author began collected and published the first weekly data report. I'm not sure what exactly you mean. I do calculate the percentage of Merit for each day of the weak, and I think that uses my local (CEST) time zone. I don't mention the start of each month anywhere. Theymos' raw data uses Unix Timestamps, you can easily check which month that is. Therefore, I would like to give LoyceV a suggestion that weekly data reports should be adjusted (for old weekly data reports) and from now on. I'm still not sure what you mean. Theymos' raw data dump is updated weekly, that's the data I use. For instance, with the August, weekly data reports should have a start day at 1st of August, end at 7th of August for the first week of this month, etc. I'm still not sure what you mean  Can you quote which part of my analysis you're talking about now? |

Some questions
1. Why does the deposit address expire so soon? 2 weeks would be more standard for an exchange, 15 hours is very short.
2. Why do I have to set the deposit amount before depositing, and why are "incorrect amounts" not processed? People make mistakes with the amount they send, especially if a wallet/service takes the fee off the amount they send.
Some comments
1. The confirmation email was labeled Spam in gmail.
2. The confimation link has only a 5 digit number as identifier, usually a much longer code is used against brute-forcing.
3. The ToS says I must accept it before I can register an account. However, the site doesn't ask me to accept or even read anything when I Sign Up.
4. I can't find anything about Withdrawal fees. When I click "Withdraw", it says: "You don't have sufficient BTC funds". Fees should be published before depositing.
5. You're going to want to restrict this giveaway to a certain account level (Activity, Rank or Merit), and reject users with red trust. Without those restrictions, you can expect many cheaters.
6. I'm not sure if this is the right board to post on, but I wouldn't know which board fits it better either.

I don't know why he use 42 42 is the "Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything". Roslinpl is a respected signature designer, but has a weird posting style. He starts most posts with "Hello" and ends with "Best wishes". For reference: his full Merit history. When he fist sent 42 merits, people had some doubts. The second times he sent 42 merits, still remained some doubts, but less. When he sent the third time, people thought: "Well, it's normal. He did it before". He sent 42 Merit to theymos and satoshi first. Nobody is going to think that's abuse. The third time, he send it to this post, which can be argued to deserve it if you really want to. Meriting this post with 42 Merit on the other hand, is clear abuse clearly not worth it: I hope someone from my country, Philippines, made it on the top 200! Generosity is one of our Country's many many many Aces! The Merit system was supposed to stop this bounty spammer from ranking up, now he's a Member. |
