2241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [BIT-X] Signature Campaign - Discussion on: March 28, 2015, 07:33:22 PM
I am considering making it monthly again for a few reasons:
- BIT-X gets a full month of advertising instead of a week (if a user changes their signature after only a week, all posts in that week become useless to BIT-X, a month gives more time for those posts to be seen)
- Bonuses will come back into play
- All members will be entitled to a special gift Wink
- No limits and higher rates since I can manage enrolees much better.

I would prefer not to have monthly payments. I run a faucet, so I need some BTC every week to fund my faucet.

I understand that all posts in that week become useless to BIT-X, if a user changes their signature, but not many people change their signature after only one week, as BIT-X is one of the best signature campaigns, and I don't see what gain there is to constantly jump between signature campaigns.

@marcotheminer,

can I ask you what do you think about the payment directly the our personal bitcoin address (instead to the bit-x one?).

I don't think marco will make payment directly to our bitcoin address, as sending it to the BIT-X account lets users try out BIT-X. I would not have discovered BIT-X if they had paid the bitcoin directly to my wallet.
2242  Economy / Services / Re: [BB] Signature contest Gebbit.com - 0.15 BTC bounty for just 2 signatures ESCROW on: March 28, 2015, 07:25:25 PM
I can confirm that the funds of 0.15 BTC are secured in escrow now.

It will be released to contest winner. Gebbit please be sure to PM me when you've decided where I should release the funds to Smiley

Thanks guys and good luck!

Ok, I read in a previous post that the contest will end 10 days after an escrow is found, so it will end on April the 7th, am I correct? Gebbit please confirm, I need to know the end date.

Will post my entries soon, they have to be similar to the gebbit site ?

Of course, you are trying to promote Gebbit, so it should be somewhat similar to their site. It doesn't have to be completely similar to gebbit.com though, it just has to look good.
2243  Economy / Services / Re: [0.25 BTC Contest] - LazyCoins Signature Design on: March 28, 2015, 06:48:17 PM

I have my design ready, I will make it public near the end of the contest.

2245  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] Bitcoin-related Scam Websites on: March 28, 2015, 03:40:33 AM
Really 999dice.com is a scam from when.
Hey tomatocage, You put 999dice in the top of the list! I know you are a logical man! Can you explain how exactly is it a scam? Asking because I have seen players making 20 BTC from 0.05 and 1+ BTC from 0.0002! Thank you!

There is a pretty convincing scam accusation against 999dice which you can find here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948965.0

Also, some more sites to the list:

Terabox.me
Lunaminer.com
GenerateBTC.com

I don't think thats convincing! Read dooglus' reply! He said they could possibly scam by that method! But you can always make it on your side by not betting in the same pattern Cheesy

True, they could possibly scam by that method, but it seems pretty suspicious.

For example, why the need to press a button every time you want to verify the seed? Also, 999dice has since changed their system.... And replaced it with another flawed one. (See this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=971447)

They could easily look at another dice sites provably fair system (like just-dice) and copy their transparent system.

I'm not accusing 999dice of anything, like you said, they might not be scamming at all, but it is fishy.

2249  Economy / Service Discussion / Unofficial Bitmedia.io Discussion Thread on: March 28, 2015, 01:10:41 AM
I just noticed that bitmedia.io does not have a discussion thread, nor an official bitcointalk thread, so users have no place to ask questions. So I decided to start an unofficial bitmedia.io discussion thread.

Info:

www.Bitmedia.io is an ad network that pays out in bitcoin. They use the CPC model. (Cost per click)

OK, I will start off with the first question. Have you been able to withdraw your balance from bitmedia.io? The past few days, bitmedia.io  has been giving me a message saying "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later." Every time I try to withdraw my balance. Is anyone else having this problem?
2250  Other / Meta / Re: Sorry I'm New here, I do not know how to build trust here on: March 28, 2015, 12:55:53 AM
I don't see the negative trust Huh
 Cool

It matters who you have in your trust list. If you haven't edited your trust list, it will show as default trust, and jonald is on default trust.
(Default trust is a list of people who theymos trusts.)

You can include and exclude people from your list, when a person is excluded, even if that excluded person is on default trust, it doesn't show the trust he gives for you. If you include a person, even if the included person isn't on default trust, the trust he gives shows for you.

You can edit your trust settings here:

2252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the late adopters, gentlemen. on: March 27, 2015, 11:17:39 PM
At the current bitcoin price, everyone can become an early adopter! Bitcoin still has a long way to go, as it has only been around for about 6 years. More and more companies and people are accepting bitcoin, and the price will surely rise from here.

If you lost money from an exchange, (which is what I think you are trying to say) sorry for your loss. This is one of the reasons you shouldn't keep bitcoins in an exchange for too long, as exchanges are a target for hackers.

Trolling the forum won't make it any better btw, just learn from your loss.
2253  Economy / Services / Re: NEED SIMPLE FAUCET! ( FaucetBox script ) !! FAST !! *reward on: March 26, 2015, 03:39:46 AM

I don't think OP wants to buy a script, he wants someone to install a free script on his hosting for him.

OP, 000webhost is unreliable, as they are free so they have limited space. If you want cheap hosting, there is a provider called www.steadyturtle.com that offers hosting for $2.
2254  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Marco the Über Miner on: March 26, 2015, 02:10:50 AM
Candy and Marco the Royal couple? Ewww.

Speaking of which, any guesses to what Candy's current account is?
Badbear had been tagging all of Candy's accounts as he had been creating and buying them. Unfortunately he is away (hopefully) temporarily so he isn't tagging additional of his accounts.

I don't think he is doing any significant amount of business if he has purchased an account as I haven't seen anyone with the kind of offers that candy tends to offer.

There has been one guess, one user has pointed out one account is selling the same book that candy is claiming that he wrote himself on moneypot.
However, there hasn't been a screenshot, so this is not definitive proof.
2255  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: March 26, 2015, 02:07:45 AM
Well they could offer payments in a fixed dollar value. Maybe that would be better for everyone? At least people wont be worried about losing money then. Is there any negative effects to doing it this way?

It would be very hard for bitmixer.io to do, as everyone gets paid at a different time, so the bot probably would have to calculate the bitcoin price exchange constantly, and the bot would have to convert that amount into bitcoin in real time and send it. It would be quite hard to do.

For all the people complaining, if you think the rates are too low, just join a different signature campaign. Simple.
Also, I see some people complaining about the rates when they aren't even in this campaign. What's the point of that?

2256  Economy / Services / Re: Need a signature design on: March 25, 2015, 02:19:18 AM
OP should hold a contest. That way, you can get many different designs to choose from.

Remember, if you hold a contest, you should seek a trusted escrow to hold the funds.
2257  Economy / Services / Re: [0.25 BTC Contest] - LazyCoins Signature Design on: March 25, 2015, 02:14:29 AM
Reserved. I will enter if I have time.

Just as a tip, don't accept submissions from: izagani, roslinpl, medUSA, or ndnhc.

They usually use stolen work, etc.

Where is the proof that these people copy work? They have been designing signatures for a long time.
