2241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: February 22, 2022, 12:19:55 PM
As per previous trends, the bitcoin price should increase in such cases whenever we will see a threat of unrrst or war. Because government controls the fiat and banks so it is very easy for them to freeze funds of the common people. We have already seen such instances during the Hongkong protest against China.

So I don't think the decrease in bitcoin price has anything to do with the current war situation. It has been triggered by something else!

Nah,the prices are dropping mostly because of the situation in eastern Ukraine.
For some reason, the crypto markets are following the stock markets in their ridiculous panic.
Putin declared, that he is accepting the independence of the two "people's republics" in eastern Ukraine and he will send troops there. The western world will impose sanctions over Russia. That was pretty much expected, but everyone is still acting as if this is some kind of surprise.
I actually thought that the conflict in Ukraine will boost Bitcoin/cryptocurrency prices but I was wrong.
2242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: February 22, 2022, 12:02:25 PM
One month ago,the Bitcoin price dropped to 34K USD and everyone was waiting for a 30K or 20K price bottom, stating that the recovery will be slow and a new ATH won't happen in 2023.
During February, the Bitcoin price went from 34K to 44K USD and everyone forgot about the doom&gloom predictions. Many people were expecting a bull run to 50K USD.
Now,the Bitcoin price is going down, all financial markets are going down due to the political situation.
The bears are dominating the market, predicting a new ATH in 2025.
In summary, don't trust anyone.Every opinion about the BTC price is just a price speculation.
2243  Economy / Economics / Re: OMG crypto is low ! what do i do ? on: February 22, 2022, 07:02:26 AM
OK,but what if I don't have programming and webdesign skills?
What if I don't have money to hire a good programmer to develop a "revolutionary" Dapp for me or a web designer to create the best NFT in the world for a small fee? Grin
I guess that I will have to stay poor for the rest of my life. Sad
It seems to me that you are trolling or trying to be sarcastic with your post.
The gas prices are what repulses me from Ethereum and everything that was built around Ethereum.
After so many years of endless hype,Ethereum transactions aren't more affordable than BTC transactions and ETH still isn't getting better than Bitcoin.
2244  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access Sportsbet.io or any kind of gambling without VPN on: February 22, 2022, 06:44:11 AM
Good luck with depositing money in a crypto casino and living with the constant fear of getting banned and losing everything. Grin
If you want to bet really small amounts just for the sake of having fun,I can say that trying to bypass country restrictions is OK.The casino always wins,it doesn't matter if you are going to lose a few dollars by playing gambling games or getting your account blocked.
I've seen this Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 method before. There's actually an Android app about it and the app has around 50 million installs,if remember this correctly. Not sure if it's going to work in the long term, though.
2245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic Growth on a Bitcoin Standard on: February 22, 2022, 06:27:54 AM
Hypothetically if the USA pegged the US dollar to Bitcoin how would economic growth continue. I am a huge Bitcoin proponent but looking at it from this lens puzzles me. Restricting the printing press would, in my opinion, slow economic growth significantly. What would the world look like after this? Are there opposing viewpoints?

Economic growth means more goods and services being sold this year, compared to the previous years.
The currency doesn't matter.I know that the economic growth is being fueled by money printing, but such economic growth is artificial anyway. The USA would be fine without the fake economic growth, which is being pumped by getting more debt, which will have to be paid by the future generations.
A more stable currency would actually incentivize the economic activity and stimulate the people and businesses to produce and sell more goods and services.
2246  Economy / Economics / Re: US Government! You are Welcome to the Bitcoin Age. on: February 21, 2022, 12:18:02 PM

The way things are already going, if strict measures are not put in place could be very dangerous, people will pay a high price for that, the government as the sole protector of Its citizens must take the necessary decisions required,
Many scams already taking advantage of decentralization and free to everyone to carry out crimes, if the government doesn't carry out its executive responsibilities now in a few years things will really get ugly in this space.

What exactly are you trying to say?
Do you say that we have to pray to the all mighty US government to save us from the crypto scammers,or the crypto industry will sink into the ocean of cryptocurrency scams in the next few years?
I don't believe that the crypto industry is totally dominated by scams. The majority of the crypto exchange platforms and crypto casinos are legit.I'm not going to discuss all the crypto startups,ICOs,IEOs,DeFi,NFTs,because most of them are scams, but you could see from a mile that they are a scam,so only naive and gullible people would put their money there.
2247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is There a Bitcoin Supercycle? Is this the end of 80% drawdowns? on: February 21, 2022, 11:51:11 AM
The price movement of Bitcoin over the last year has been extremely intriguing. We haven't witnessed that significant drawdown yet, which has prompted some to believe that the cycles have shifted and that we are now in what is known as a super cycle (bull markets and mini bear markets). People on Twitter speculated about a supercycle earlier this year, so it's not like it sprang out of nowhere. Personally, I believe that the conventional cycles have now been disrupted. But I'm interested in what everyone else thinks.

All the opinions about supercycles and conventional cycles are simply speculation.
Is the Bitcoin price even moving in cycles? The cycles theory is based only on the past historical data of the Bitcoin price. We already know that the BTC prices in the past cannot determine the future price of Bitcoin.
Just because some price pattern or event happened in the past doesn't mean that the same price pattern or event is guaranteed to happen in the future.
The only thing that's for sure that the fact that the Bitcoin price will keep moving up and down forever.

2248  Economy / Economics / Re: People over 65 having most of wealth in US on: February 21, 2022, 06:48:04 AM
People over the age of 65 accounts for 76 percent of all wealth in the United States.

Consider where the crypto markets will be when the younger generations that have grown up with cryptocurrency reach the age of this group...

Can you post a link to the source of this information?
We don't know what will happen with the cryptocurrency markets after 30 years, when the younger generations retire.Maybe the cryptocurrency markets will evolve into something different,or maybe they will disappear.Technology is becoming obsolete pretty fast and we shouldn't be planning 30 years ahead.
Your info actually shows that the room for growth of the crypto industry in the USA is kinda limited, because the young people have really small amount of the total wealth in the USA.

2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I can't access a casino while my country isn't got blacklisted? on: February 21, 2022, 06:26:36 AM

It's really sad when you want to play on specific casino but there's a barrier obstructing your desire. I know there's an alternative casinos, but I have some personal reason to play in specific casino...

Personal reason? What kind of personal reason? Can you elaborate more on this?
Almost all crypto casinos are basically the same-the same games, the same functionality, user experience, etc.
The differences are way less than the similarities. Why would you want to play on a specific casino, when you can choose from a gazillion other crypto casinos?
Perhaps the problem is in your browser, having Java not enabled or some other technical s*it(I'm not an expert).
I've seen many crypto casinos on the forum, where I cannot load the website, despite the fact that my country isn't blacklisted.I guess that I have to use a better and more updated web browser.
2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 21, 2022, 06:09:12 AM
Quote
"Government intervention has always been a factor in setting the gold standard," Salinas explained. "And fiat enables infinite financing."

What?
From the quote that you are citing I didn't came to the conclusion that Salinas prefers Bitcoin over fiat.
Bitcoin is a better option than fiat money,if you are talking about store of value.
Bitcoin isn't any better than fiat money, when it comes to daily retail purchases.
Bitcoin isn't better than fiat,if you are going to use some centralized custodial entity to store your BTC.
Spending paper cash can be as anonymous as than spending Bitcoin(spending BTC isn't anonymous, unless you are using a good BTC mixer).
I think that you are oversimplifying everything.Perhaps you should learn more about Bitcoin and fiat.

2251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: February 20, 2022, 12:21:09 PM
Yeah, all the clickbait thumbnails on Youtube are hilarious.
Those crypto Youtubers must be really desperate for clicks and views, despite the fact that they are killing it with crypto trading and making a shit ton of money(if you really believe their own BS). Grin
You know what's worse than Youtube?...Tik Tok!
Getting ridiculous investment advise from Teenagers on Tik Tok is absolute cringe.
I've never used Tik Tok,but I've seen "Tik Tok Investors" compilation videos on Youtube and I can tell you that this is a circus.
Every experienced crypto trader must watch this kind of content only for fun(and cringe).
2252  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: February 20, 2022, 11:51:59 AM
We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

Nothing groundbreaking or spectacular happened in Russia and Ukraine,in regards to the Bitcoin/crypto regulation.
That was a small step in the right direction, but countries like Russia are pretty unpredictable and the Russian government/central bank could still ban cryptocurrencies at any given moment.
The crypto markets didn't react positively to the news coming from Russia and Ukraine, because almost nobody trusts the governments of Russia and Ukraine.
My expectations about Bitcoin cannot be changed by news, gossips, rumors,FUD and all sorts of BS.
My expectations about the Bitcoin price are bearish in the short term and bullish in the long term.
2253  Economy / Economics / Re: What economic sanctions will US impose on Russia on: February 20, 2022, 06:46:26 AM
The US sanctions will be pointed towards the oligarchs, who are close to Putin.
They will most likely repeat and supplement the sanctions, that were imposed back in 2014,when Russia invaded Crimea.
The Russian companies will be banned from doing business in the USA and holding any funds in US bank accounts. The EU might impose the same sanctions as well.Perhaps some rich Russians will be kicked out of the western world and they won't be allowed to visit western countries anymore.
I don't think that any western country would stop Russia from exporting oil, natural gas, metals and raw materials. This would be an economic suicide.

2254  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fun Stats about Bitcoin Casinos | Infographic on: February 20, 2022, 06:21:33 AM
That's a pretty cool infographic.
The important data I want to know about is the actual number of active gamblers on all these crypto casinos.
Unfortunately,no crypto casino would give accurate data about the real number of active gamblers on the platform. They would most likely come up with fake and inflated numbers of active players.
The fact that 49% of the crypto casinos don't have a gambling license is also a big red flag.
Another interested info would the total amount of cryptocurrencies spent on cryptocurrency gambling during the years.I'm sure that it's impossible to reveal the real amount, but knowing about how big the crypto gambling industry actually is would have been great.
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD seems to be majorly targeted towards well perfoming assets like Bitcoin. on: February 20, 2022, 06:03:25 AM
It's not just the Paypal stocks.Almost all big corporations were heavily pumped by the Federal Reserve during the pandemic. That was clearly a stock price bubble and it popped. You could see it on the chart. The stock price went crazy after the pandemic struck in the beginning of 2020.Perhaps there were expectations that the people will abandon cash payments due to the risk of getting infected and focus only of digital payment solutions like Paypal.Well, this didn't happen and the people didn't abandon cash payments.
We cannot compare stocks to crypto, because spreading lies and FUD that would manipulate stock prices is considered illegal,AFAIK.The sad thing is that the same regulation doesn't apply to the crypto market.
Spreading lies,in order to manipulate cryptocurrency prices should also be considered illegal.
2256  Economy / Speculation / Re: ukraine battlefield bear market on: February 18, 2022, 11:19:34 AM
As we know at the end of 2021 the price of bitcoin decreased due to entering a bear market because of the new year.
But now bitcoin continues to decline again due to Russia's war with Ukraine.
In your opinion, is this the reason the bitcoin price keeps dropping, sometimes it goes up and sometimes it goes down again.
Because there is a new issue that says that there is no war between Russia and Ukraine but the American mind.

OP,are you using Google Translate or something?
It seems to me that some AI robot had written your forum post. Grin
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine/NATO/USA has an impact over the global financial markets, not just the cryptocurrency markets. There's no proof of a direct correlation between this conflict and what's happening with the Bitcoin price. However, nobody could deny that there's an influence over the BTC price, stocks prices, indexes, commodity prices, etc.
I'm sure that Putin won't invade Ukraine, but for some reason,he wants to keep the tension on the Russo-Ukrainian borders. He has some hidden agenda.
2257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price once goes into consolidation in a critical area where speculator on: February 18, 2022, 10:57:37 AM
I wonder what was the reason for the current price drop from 44K to 40K USD.
The Bitcoin market isn't ready for a bull run.Historically February isn't one of best months for Bitcoin(even though historical data doesn't matter that much). There are some bullish news coming from Russia and Ukraine(even though I don't trust those bullish news),but the Bitcoin price reacted with a drop.
There's nothing important going on in the world of Bitcoin,so this price drop could be explained with normal price volatility.More sellers want to sell, but less buyers want to buy.
I'm still optimistic about a bull run happening during the spring, but it's OK if 2022 turns out to be a bearish year for BTC.We will be waiting for another ATH in 2023 or 2024.
2258  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1win on Bitcointalk! on: February 18, 2022, 07:07:15 AM
Ok, this must be the weirdest thread on this forum .... OP start a thread without mentioning the site he is promoting. People ask him what the site is and they give him directions on how to acquire Bronze membership, but nothing happens.

Is this a teaser thread for the big reveal or is this some cheap advertising technique to get people curious or for them to Google and then to end up on the wrong site? (A scammer can quickly create a phishing site and cash in on this type of marketing)  Roll Eyes

I see a lot of other sites with similar domains.... eg. 1win-bet.com / 1-win.casino / 1winbet.in etc.. etc..  Roll Eyes

Yeah, this is weird.OP didn't even post a link to the crypto casino he is promoting(or at least trying to provide customer support service,I'm confused). What's the point?Maybe he can't post the link, because the URL will be rejected, due to being suspicious.
I don't believe that such phishing scams would work.No gambler is stupid enough to deposit money in a crypto casino, which doesn't have enough reviews, feedback, players, active customer support, gambling license, etc.
It seems that OP is really unprofessional and he doesn't know how this forum works.I hope that he will come back and answer all the questions.

2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 06:45:16 AM
First Russia adopted crypto and announced to make it legal and now the Ukraine did the same. Both of these countries are at the verge of war against each other.
Though it makes no sense but still i wonder if the tense situation in both countries is the triggering point for the adoption of bitcoin?

Russia and Ukraine becoming more liberal towards the crypto industry seems really weird.
Anyway, this is good news. It's way better for the crypto traders and miners in both countries to know that dealing with cryptocurrencies isn't in the "greyhat" area of legislation and regulations.
AFAIK,crypto isn't 'adopted' in Russia,because:
1.Crypto wasn't really banned in Russia.
2.Legalizing cryptocurrencies isn't exactly adoption.Real adoption would be the government and big companies starting to accept cryptocurrency payments, which isn't case and most likely will never happen.
2260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: App for analisys NFT collections on: February 17, 2022, 12:12:50 PM
1.Scam adviser isn't enough for catching NFT scam projects.
2.NFT trading volumes can be artificially pumped. The Youtuber Cofeezilla has a great video uploaded recently about a team of serial NFT scammers, who keep launching over hyped NFT projects.
Those scammers launch fake giveaways to boost the NFT projects and they are buying and selling the NFTs with a bunch of their own accounts, funded with their own money. This creates fake trading volume and increases the hype around the NFT.
Good luck with your project, but I have to say that I am skeptical.
