I will not quote your post to save on walls of texts, but I think the best thing to send back is that it is ILLEGAL TO NOT REFUND MONEY. lol.  Regardless of what terms or what not the company writes on their website, the FEDERAL LAW, which takes precedence over scamming companies, says that it is illegal.

Refer to the BFL case where the FTC ordered BFL to start immediately refunding everyone in their queue who asked for it.

Nice new feature for PACMIC.

You can no set autorebuy.

I just turned it on so not sure if it buys more every block rewarded or waits for it to accumulate.  Will update when a block goes through.

If it works smooth it will probably cause less buying on the other ant2,3,4,5 and umisoo markets as people will no longer be using their PACMIC to buy ghs.  ( For example the profits I was using from PACMIC will now be going back into pacmic and not the others )

Something to think about.

Hmm, that would be awesome if it constantly was rebuying more PACMiC's, I would continuesly be putting more money into this as the returns are pretty good right now, but I am wondering how that will work, especially since they are still only being sold by the 1 btc ea mark.

I have a hard time working out how it would constantly be rebuying PACMiC power.  I really hope it isn't waiting for 1 btc to accumulate before it buys another one.

EDIT:  Some cool new graphs and layout features though, nicely done guys!

Could be he wrecked his car while driving your package to the post office and has been in the hospital. Friend of mine stopped answering emails for a month once, turns out he was in the ICU the whole time getting chunks of Mustang pulled out of his face.

In which case, I wish him a speedy recovery and that he is all right, at what point do you suggest I be concerned that he has stolen from me?

What a shame, this is looking to be a scam, I wonder if the account was sold or hacked or something.  Giving another day or two before I post negative rep for this scam.

Does anyone have any further information on this guy?

?? Nobody has reported (yet) that items have not been received, I don't see any red flags for this to be a Scam...

I am currently reporting that.  2 weeks since he said he would send the package.  I also don't see anyone reporting receiving a package from him, and he claimed that some of the S3's were sold.

Again, at what point do you guys think this should start to get escalated?  I understand something may have happened to him, but from this point of view, we don't know anything.  I will gladly delete these posts if he comes back and either sends me my money back or I get my package, but at what point do we consider that a scam has taken place?

Are more PACMiC's going to be added for sale?

Crazyates is a well know legendary member. Im sure there is a reason why he is not answering. His profile show the last activity to be the 4 of march. Wait a little bit more to see what is happening.

Hope he is still in the game.

I realize he is a legendary member, but he took my money on the 3rd, said he would be shipping next day, and here we are 2 weeks later and I don't have a package and he hasn't logged on since then.  In that time, the bitcoin price has risen by a little bit, so I would believe I am entitled to a partial refund since I have effectively given him a 2 week loan where nothing was being done on his part.

I have already said he gets a little longer, but I am collecting his information, if anyone has anything on him please let me know so I can contact the proper authorities when I get tired of waiting.  (To me this sounds like a sold or hacked account that the buyer got some use out of it being a legendary member).

Lol, I think I got the last 2 PACMiC for that round of sale.  After I hit submit, it said that the buy was unsuccessful, but when I looked in my contracts, I had both of them.  Either way, really happy with these so far.

I'm new and I'm interesting in buying GC from you for 25% off.
Would you mind PM me how to deal? I'm reading a lot of DebitMe as escrow but what's that?

Hopefully someone can assist me. I have about 2btc+ ready.

Sorry if he has already wrote to you, but escrow is if you would rather use a third party member of this forum to hold your funds while your item is in transit.  Once it arrives, you let me know, and I will send the funds to amazon4u.  This way both parties are protected if something goes wrong.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

P.S. - Amazon4u, I am sending payment now for the transaction we did last week.  Thanks again!

Love the idea and completely 100% agree. I think this would go far in creating a marketplace that has a little more transparency.
2250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: March 13, 2015, 03:44:51 PM
I don't think I'd ever want to 'pool funds' in the sense of transferring cash to some other user (not with the trust issues involved) but if 'finex had a way to officially delegate control of your funds to another user, limited to offering swaps without the ability to withdraw or trade with your money... that would be interesting. Genuinely not sure whether I'd want to be delegating to someone else or offering myself up as a candidate to be delegated to, but it'd be interesting either way.

Could be implemented via API key perhaps (would just be one use of a more general "API keys with limited privileges" feature, which could be several flavours of useful); would then just need some software to streamline the day-to-day of offering swaps while handling funds from multiple accounts, which could potentially be put together by a third party.

I know the trust would be a major factor in a service such as this, and to be honest, I put the project on hold as I wasn't sure the interest would be there for such a service, but it was just an idea I had.  Obviously, I have built a lot of trust around here and that says something, but it is one thing to trade a few hundred dollar item and another to send thousands in bitcoins to with the idea of investing.  I figured I would take a percent of the daily interest as payment for such a service, which would lower interest probably further.

Like I said, it was just an idea and I thought it would allow people to have liquidity on their deposits, but being a third party service from Bitfinex obviously would have its draw backs.  Perhaps when I have more time I will follow through with this service more and see if it would go anywhere, as I still think it would be a great idea and get a lot of interest.  In my eyes, it would be just like investing with Bitfinex, but you can withdraw whenever you want and still earn roughly the same amount of interest.
2251  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: March 13, 2015, 01:33:54 PM
Small idea for some fairness improvement?

Currently, there's a pretty big "asymmetry of power" between a lender and a swap user: once the swap has been taken, there's nothing a lender can do. But the taker can return it anytime of his choosing. Tough to plan for re-lending funds as a lender. The intention fo lending funds for 30 days (to not have much managing to do) does not work in reality because of that. No FRR can fix that, most FRR swaps never get lent out, unless there's big swap demand increasement, like in the last days.

Also at the moment, even if returned immediately, at least the first hour of interest of a swap has to be paid.

How about charging the first 1/48th of the time period at the time of the swap taking instead of just the first hour? That would make exactly no difference for 2 day swaps. But it encourages not to use 30 days as default for swap users who dont plan to use it anywhere near that time frame anyways.

This might increase convenience.

The asymmetry is inherent to the nature of the arrangement - you promise a trader control of some funds until they choose to release them. Granting lenders any more power to recall their funds would open the potential for traders to be forced onto more expensive swaps than they'd agreed to. Unless... I guess a feature could be imagined whereby a lender asks for their swap to be closed and replaced with a new one of the same duration, with the lender agreeing to pay the difference between the rates if the new swap is more expensive.

In general though the problem you're trying to solve (that traders will take out a swap for long periods then return it sooner) isn't really a problem - traders already pay a premium for 30 day swaps because there are fewer of them available and they normally start at higher rates than 2 day swaps. They're not necessarily going to know how long their position will be open for at the outset, but they're paying for the guarantee that the rate they pay stays stable, regardless of how long they end up needing the swap for.

It sounds like in your ideal scenario, traders would always take a swap pre-agreed for exactly the length of time they need it for, but that's not information that exists when the swap is taken, and besides... if traders changed their behaviour to only take a 30 day swap when they "mean it", you'd just see far fewer 30 day swaps being taken at all.

I actually had an idea that would fix this and even got quotes to get the website made, but let me know what you guys think.  My idea is to provide liquidity for the lender by pooling funds into one account, and lending out roughly 90% of the pooled funds, while sharing interest over all deposits.  This should allow enough liquidity for people to withdraw their funds whenever they want, but still earn interest.  Obviously, that number can be tweaked to get the right amount that would need to be withheld, but I believe that with a bot to handle the lending to make it optimal for the pool, you could make up the interest lost on the 10% of funds not lent out, so that users really wouldn't notice a loss of any income and could withdraw whenever they felt like.

Thoughts?

I need to place another order please.  I need 2 sets of these new...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00JUIO9VY/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
They are currently 29.99 each, so for 2 of them that's $60.00 total.

Would you be open to shipping these first again and I can pay when they arrive?  Please message me for address to send to and to work out details.

Thanks,

DebitMe

DebitMe, do you accept Paypal as payment.

I'm trying to work this out - how are you an escrow service in this deal?

If your asking if I will hold Paypal in escrow, I will unfortunately have to decline.  I will hold bitcoin or other crypto currencies and will even do cash if the fees and what not are paid, but I will not hold reversible types of currencies, risk just isn't worth it.

If your asking how I am an escrow in the deal you quoted above, it is because amazon4u has agreed to ship the item before I pay him for it.  If your asking how the service works in general, you and the seller will figure out a deal and when you know what you want to buy you let me know.  I will give you a deposit address to send the bitcoin to and will hold the bitcoin while the item is in transit.  When the item arrives, you will tell me that everything is good to go and I will send the funds to the seller.  This protects both parties from fraud and non payment/shipping.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

DebitMe

what do you think of that dum ass

I think your a child who doesn't know how to use quotes properly on a forum.  I think your throwing a little temper tantrum ~redacted~

Just made a bet on Iowa State -1.5 tonight on the new site, so now I also think your incompetent at using computers because everything is working properly.  Don't worry though, if Texas wins I will be sure to come back here and blame the bookie for my bad sports picking skillz.

EDIT:  I also think your education level can't be that high, seeing as your sentences are very hard to follow and are basically all run on's with more than one thought (being generous by calling it a thought) going into each segment, making it very hard to follow.

fuck this book tried to place a bet on there new site could not place the bet tried yesterday to place a bet there and said the new sportbook is not taken bets so i rushed and place a basketball bet and you know it it lost will not be back fuck this book

Let me see if I understand you...you couldn't place a bet on the new site that they have been working to implement, so you "rushed" to the old site that they left up just in case the new site had problems, and your bet lost and your mad at the site?  Seriously dude, your bet lost and your mad at the casino?  Your the type of idiot that really takes the cake.  Hey Guys, I suck at sports betting, but it isn't me, it is the site that took my bet.

Go troll elsewhere you child.  Maybe reevaluate your life if you seriously have the audacity to get mad at the sports book for your losing bet.

Hello doctor, I got cancer, I am suing you...for you know...keeping me healthy all these years so far.

DebitMe, we appreciate your response as always.  As a side note, there have been a few bugs which have mostly been fixed and we are seeing a much higher volume of wagers placed.  We also have many new features that we will be implementing in.  The new book has always been taking bets and the response we are getting thus far has been overwhelming positive.

I apologize for probably over reacting and will delete my post if you guys would like (just PM me), but some cry babies seriously just piss me off.  It pisses me off that this child can sit behind a computer and say this type of thing, when we all know he would be scared to shit to say anything of that sort to anyone's actual face.  Just idiots ruining the world I suppose.

You know what would be neat Hashnest, is a reinvest strategy for the PACMiC.  I get the bitcoin paid out to me, but can't reinvest it until I get another bitcoin, so they are just sitting in my account collecting dust.  Are there plans, or could you start talking about, a way to reinvest funds into the PACMiC program?  It could be done on a daily or weekly basis or have the rules slightly different.  IDK quite how it would work, but I am sure something could be thought up to get those bitcoins put back to work for me and make it more of a compounding thing.
2259  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: March 10, 2015, 02:40:35 AM
Hello,

I am having an issue with my x1.  Hopefully this is an easy fix.

I bought this off a very trusted user on the forum.  He had a bunch of then new in box and i bought one for what i think is a nice price.  I had heard of black arrow but never really looked in to the products before.  I get it and it's def new and in the box and i hook it up and right when i log in it asks me to do a software update and i did.  Next time it booted up it did a check for update and it says it is up to date with the latest.  Good.

I get the pool configured for eligius and all is well, I'm thinking well this thing is great!  i can't hear it, its not sucking power like its going out of style, i want more of these.  then the problem...  CGMiner slow to respond... retying...  Uh oh cgminer crashed.  i hit reboot, all good. check back in a lil bit.  cgminer crashed, hit reboot.  at this point i realized this is going to be an hourly thing.

I don't know why cgminer is crashing, under powered?  chip problems?  pool problems?  is there something wrong with my unit?  can someone please help me, i really want to be able to run this thing and if i can get it working properly i think I'm going to want more of these.  i searched for "prospero x1 cgminer crash" and didn't find a ton of people having the same issues.  Im wondering if its just mine.

below is an image of my eligius chart so you can see how often cgminer crashes.  eventually i check back in on it and restart.

Hey man, I got one of these from someone as well (never give any money to Blackarrow personally, it will be gone forever and you will get nothing back) and it does the exact same thing.  It will run for 15 mins to an hour then stop.  The only fix I found was to go into settings on the actual unit and go to device and change the restart times per hour to 10 (or any other number) but this only fixes it for a couple of days, then it starts having the same problem as before.

The reason this is happening is really simple.  BlackArrow is a scam company run by the most despicable people on this planet.  Seriously, these are the type of people who commit credit card fraud and screw hard working good people out of their money.  Even their original company made credit card scanners that were explicitly used to steal credit card info.

Moral of the story, go buy a unit from Bitmain or Spondoolies Tech.  Either company will deliver a superior product, with better power ratings, and you will find that the owners and employees actually care about their customers and want to develop a relationship with those they sell to, instead of just stealing as much money as they can.  Also, the reason you can't find any information about this issue is that 1) The units usually catch fire before they get to this point 2) BA hasn't shipped enough units for others to find a fix 3)BA doesn't care enough to answer the questions, like this one, that has been asked before to their tech support (which is probably some idiot or even the owner himself who can't tell his own ass from a bitcoin miner).

Didn't we recently find out over on the AsicMiner thread that a major backer for bitmain and AM is the same person?  That would make sense then that one would know intimate details of the others production leads.  Although, no guarantees that it is AM they are talking about, pure speculation.
