2241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 17, 2022, 11:43:05 AM
Trading and gambling are two different concepts which I see not to be the same, but thou they both involves risk taking, critical thinking, and experience but I still not  see them to be the same. Trading involves giving an item in exchange for the other, which could be money or an asset while gambling involves prediction of a possible outcome of an event, which if it's true you wins but if false, you lose
The most basic difference between trading and gambling is in the control of money.

If you gamble you deposit capital to bet and when you have placed a gambling position you lose control of your money entirely, where when you lose all the capital you deposited will disappear, but on the contrary if you win your capital can double.

If you trade, you deposit capital to bet, where you alone can determine whether you win or lose.

In trading you are in full control of your money, you decide when you want to sell or buy. because even if your trading is a loss, you will not lose all of the capital you deposited in the trade because the losses and profits are calculated based on the difference between the buying and selling prices which is a percentage of capital.

Gambling = No control after placing a position
Trading = Full control after placing a position
2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: July 16, 2022, 09:30:05 PM
Since 2018 I have not heard of any project with a good promotion by holding a Bounty. Until now, on average, most projects are not very well-known, and are not worth the results obtained. Because many new projects fail and many do not have a price for the rewards given as gifts from bounty. Although it is not all, but I think there are many bad things at the moment. Maybe bounty is similar to gambling, because we don't know their future. Analysis is sometimes also wrong.  IMO

PSG have signed two players so far and these are Vitinha and Nuno Mendes. They have spent 80 million euros in total but I don't have any doubt that they have much more money left in their budget. However they aren't rushing their transfers now. We still haven't seen a big move from them. Maybe it would be nice for them to consolidate the team more with big transfers now. However their main problem was with the management and they have made their move for that as well. Time will tell how they will play in the CL this time.
We can only guess. Last season they had a coach who rarely played in European competition. I think that's one of the factors they failed. They have a lot of good players but don't have an experienced coach in Europe. This season they have changed coach, Christophe Galtier. Christophe Galtier also looks like Pochetino, not much experience in Europe. But I don't know what the future holds, but I'm still not too sure about Christophe Galtier.

Frenkie de Jong doesn't seem likely to join Manchester United according to latest news. Because it is said that Barcelona have added him to their squad for their tour also. This must be meaning that they are willing to keep him at the team. On the other hand there are some rumours like two sides have reached an agreement about a deal like €75m + €10m bonus. I really don't know what to believe now.  Cheesy  Manchester United need a midfielder immediately so they would continue to push for him I guess.
Previously this was actually due to financial problems. In fact Xavi needed it. But because there was an obligation to pay salary debts, De Jong was asked to leave. But Man United did not agree with Barcelona's offer. Man United felt it was too expensive for that price. Maybe they won't buy it because they already have Erickson. Reportedly, Ten Hag will now buy Lisandro Martinez and Antony from Ajax.
2245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Professional newbie on: July 15, 2022, 07:39:11 PM
exactly, Newbie in the forum doesn't mean everything on him is newbie, there are lots of people who are actually professionals in crypto and blockchain, who may have just created an account on this forum few days/weeks/months ago, so they are become a newbies because of his rank. Actually, rank on this forums doesn't show who the person really is, unless they are shows it to us. For example, by creating a thread about his skills or sharing knowledge through posts/comments.
and the conclusion is don't just look at the cover or the ratings, but see and judge the quality of the posts. I found some newbie even with 1 thread he can explain cryptocurrency and other technical stuff with good sense.

Even legendary ranks who only have high ranks without proper knowledge will lose to those newbie ranks who continue to develop well and have broader knowledge.
2246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any Specific Boards for newbies to Make Posts/Comments? on: July 15, 2022, 05:37:31 PM
I don't think you are scared to comment at all, OP. You are just scared to be criticized or be taught by other users here.
You should not restrict yourself in making comment if you know what is going on in the thread or you at least "read the room".  Just feel free to express your constructive opinions here.
In the end, this is the internet after all and different people would treat you differently.
yes that's the answer, those who are new to this forum are just afraid to be criticized for every comment they make, even to the point of getting an explanation from other users that something is wrong.
I think this is very good, those who criticize certainly understand what should be said.
When newbies only limit themselves without daring to express what they think, of course they can never grow. This forum is a forum that contains all people's thoughts, different opinions and sometimes there will be many who agree. It just takes courage and a more open mindset to be able to follow everything.
2247  Economy / Speculation / Re: copytrading and futures on: July 15, 2022, 04:16:59 AM
Mate, Your advice is great, but very difficult to put into practice. Lol
I think the OP should also consider not using all his capital in the early stages, maybe it would be better to suggest he starts at 25% - 50% of his capital and he still has some spare to go on when he really knows how to work. The truth is, if we can build from small capital then of course we don't need to be too greedy to do it with big capital. This is the best advice I've ever heard.
hard for those who can't be disciplined LOL.
I also don't recommend using all of the OP's money to invest, it's just that the OP uses 20% of his money for trading and the rest goes to reserve.
all good advice, depending on how it is implemented and understood. Psychology is an obstacle for some people because it will affect the final process of trading.
2248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Professional newbie on: July 14, 2022, 07:04:02 PM
A professional newbie can also be a fast learner who never knew about bitcoin before. Such newbie can read some lesson about bitcoin and grab them very fast and when ever they talk about bitcoin it looks as if they are old in it.
I don't know the fact that who is behind the professional people in the forum. It is likely to have been said by some friends above. I think a lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts are outside this forum. The possibility that they are smarter than the person on the forum could have happened.
I wouldn't feel bothered by such a person. instead, their presence makes the forum grow more advanced. Although I'm sure there are some quirks if one expert has multiple accounts. Detecting that possibility is also quite difficult, if there is no evidence such as the obligation to send a self-identity.
2249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Choosing the right trading strategy?? on: July 14, 2022, 08:17:20 AM
If you're hoping it's going to stabilize then that's weird. Because Trading is taking advantage of volatile situations. If all the coins are stable then we will have a hard time making a profit.  You only need to learn technical and fundamental analysis to support your trading skills. As far as I know there are currently three types of traders, scalping, Day Trade, weekly trade, or holder. Try trying one by one, after that try to adjust it to your trade style. Whichever you think is quite convenient and profitable then use it.
2250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 13, 2022, 08:06:01 PM
I have an experience like many others have got that bad feeling of losing so much. I think around 2 years ago or close to it that I experienced it but in my own case was not a bet money, it was a potential winning that I should have cashed out. I bet on soccer games but with little risk and when I lose it I don't chase back my money as it is dangerous to do because you will keep losing. At times I also take a break if I have made consecutive losses.
If you have succeeded in doing that, then your emotional management has been successful. It is quite difficult to train emotions and mentally, because I myself know that emotional and mental management is almost similar to trading. Those who do not have will continue to lust for profit and return losses, although in the end they will lose. It took me years to learn that. Although gambling is different, emotional control is a major factor. If your emotions cannot be managed then everything will be damaged, it should not happen to gambling or trading.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 13, 2022, 06:24:34 PM
~snip~

Meanwhile, for Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba to have joined the team is a breath of fresh air. Although Di Maria joined up on a 1year deal which I think it's more of trying him out considering his age but the player is skilled enough and have much experience to be equal to what ever task set for him. Paul Pogba on the other hand have had quite some experience with Juventus and its naturally expected he picks off from where he left off and that's good for the team.
Of course they will be the new ammunition. Although at Man United Pogba is not at his maximum, I think if in Serie A he would be better because of the slower tempo of the league.
While Angel Di Maria, despite being quite old with PSG he is still playing well. I believe his experience is useful for Juventus. With a tempo that I think is similar to Ligue 1 he will quickly adapt there.
2252  Economy / Speculation / Re: copytrading and futures on: July 13, 2022, 05:57:51 PM
the first thing you need to do is be wise in using Leverage, don't be too greedy, use leverage starting from the smallest.
Copytrading should choose someone's trading style who is the best and has a lot of followers, make sure your management is correct. If you only use 20% of the money you have, that's good enough. Don't use all your money, it's a bad choice.

and lastly, learn how to analyze the market without having to resort to copytrading. Trade in your own style, learn the most important use of Stoploss, leverage and technical analysis. Psychology also has an effect on the final result, don't let it go into liquidation.
2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uncertainty in the NFT market on: July 12, 2022, 09:58:48 PM
Not really if I am being honest the scammers have not gotten smarter, they use the very same ideas in 2016 and 2017, talk about hype, hire influencers, open groups, create fomo. New tech, new tokens, but the same sales tactics are in use and the people who fall for them, surprise! Are also the same type of people.

Trends do not change the tactics,,, and some people refuse to learn lessons.
I'm not interested in NFTs at all. I don't even own an NFT to buy, I have an NFT just a gift from one of the Exchanges. Even now it is worthless.   From the beginning, I knew that NFT is very useful for art workers, but to trade for profit is very difficult.  Some nft cases have bad endings. For those who bought NFTs during the Hype, they are currently struggling to resell. Until recently even I hadn't touched on NFTs at all, I thought it was just a hype that would quickly end unlike coin tokens that have utility.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 12, 2022, 09:17:18 PM
Last season was a great season for Real Madrid. They have won both the Champions League and La Liga titles. Benzema was in great form throughout the season. At the same time, young Vinicius is slowly becoming experienced. Real Madrid's forward will be stronger next season. Modrich is now an adult. Real Madrid will now have to find a replacement for Modrich.
Naturally they have experienced players, although they have entered old age and need regeneration. Besides being great maybe they are also a little lucky because Barca are hot late, maybe if Barca from the beginning of Xavi's arrival they will be a difficult team. In addition Madrid did play consistently. For the UCL indeed, Madrid have a better experience, they have a lot of players who have been UCL champions. But indeed I agree that Anceloti should have started buying players for the regeneration of old players.
2255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Reasons why there's an Increasing Crypto Scam Rate on: July 12, 2022, 08:11:34 PM
The main reason for scam is money, when someone is in need of money and they don't have any resource to generate it then they have a choice to go in the wrong way so called scamming, the reasons can be unlimited because it varies from one and another, we also can see someone hacked banks all over the world to feed the poor people and the hacker poses with a smile when he charged for life time prison sentence.

If crypto scams are increasing then the usage of cryptos are increasing that's it but the job of reducing the crime is in the hands of laws and government.
Money can also be the main reason, because money is needed to improve the standard of living, giving some to people in need like bank hackers as you mean. But apart from that, the reason they commit fraud is because of greed, laziness and unemployment, so scammers create shortcuts to be able to make more money quickly.
Crime in crypto is on the rise, but crypto users are also more vigilant. some new methods of crypto scams are starting to emerge, but most of them are still using the old methods to target new users who really don't know anything about crypto.

No money and free gifts, if you get them without doing anything, please be aware.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 12, 2022, 07:33:48 PM
Maybe it will be as you say, maybe not. Paul Pogba has made great contributions to Juventus in the past. If he makes the same contribution in this period, maybe he can be one of the legendary players of the team. If he can't make a successful chart, he may not find what he expects in Juventus. Everything will depend on performance.
If I watch the game he's at man United it's indeed too slow for the EPL. So I don't think he's really able to show his best game. It should indeed be that Man United did not need to repatriate him from Juventus. The A Series and the EPL are very different, the tempo of the A Series is much slower than the EPL. If he returns to Juventus maybe he will be able to adapt quickly. Besides maybe Pogba could bring uve to perform better in the UCL. Allegri certainly understands the characteristics of Pogba's game.
2257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are for building on: July 12, 2022, 06:39:42 PM
We understand how the market works, but it's hard to make decisions when financial forces don't support it. We should have bought and built a portfolio when the market crashed, but either way that would be difficult given the unfavorable financial conditions. This is a problem that most people actually experience so they can't maximize opportunities when there are opportunities in front of their eyes. But while the whales did and continue to do so all the time so they will get stronger when the market recovers.

In the end, the rich will get richer and the weak will remain weak even though some of them are brave enough to take risks to their economic conditions. I remember one message, don't worry too much if you are hungry for 1 to 2 years if you want to invest because in the next 3 to 5 years there will be a chance that you will be full more than what you imagine.
it is indeed difficult to build a portfolio when the market is falling. I was also constrained by the problem of financial strength that was not optimal, because once the decline was sharper, the opportunity to buy would be better, but the spare money had run out to buy some more assets. Everyone must have experienced it, stuck at a price that he thought was good, but the price continued to fall.

No matter how much money you have if you can't do management, it won't be optimal. Good financial strength is also based on good money management. the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, this is because the rich are willing to take high risks, while the poor are reluctant to take those risks.
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: July 12, 2022, 05:44:13 PM
I think that in 2022 it is necessary to have a wider look at the crypto market and look not only at novelties in the nft industry but also in the crypto-banking side, I mean look at more stable projects that will be regulated by the state, I recently stumbled on one of them (of course not much) but just as an example I can say about africuniabank (afcash project) in short it is necessary to invest not only in one place and distribute their portfolio on other projects .

I see the impact of the covid-19 pandemic and the global economic crisis. I think there will be a big inflation, some signs have appeared. Such as the increase in bank interest, and the FED. I think that's what distinguishes the circumstances in the current year and before. I hope the cycle does not change, because for several years the cycle always repeats and is almost the same.  So it is likely that in 2022 you still have to be vigilant to invest.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 11, 2022, 09:42:59 PM
~snip~

I think Munich is just forcing Chelsea to spend more money, but I think Chelsea have thought about this and seems they're let Munich to succumb and lowering the transfer fee. I guess it's fine to sign Lewandowski in the next year, so Chelsea had nothing to lose.
They have bought sterling, although a little different position I think with sterling they are already very good. As for Lewandoski, I don't think he needs to be the main target. They should have chosen to buy a Defender, because they had lost two defenders. In addition, some of their defensive players have also entered old age. I think Tuchel should rethink, if he makes lewandoski just a reserve player.
2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 11, 2022, 09:20:22 PM
It was a surprise to read that Harry Maguire will remain Manchester United's captain next season, as confirmed by Erik ten Hag. Whether the team is ready for his captaincy will be interesting to see. We continue to support the captain fully and will give him our full attention. At United before, he couldn't succeed because of a policy, but under Erik Ten, he'll be succeeded. To inspire him, all he needs is a reasonable and sensible coach. Let's wait and see how things turn out.
That is the right of every coach, maybe if I were a Man United coach I would choose Ronaldo. But perhaps this is the reason Ten Hag motivated Maguire to perform better. Maybe ten Hag's arrival can make him get better and better. Because I believe the coach has a big role to play in the quality of his players' play. But all can also be different, because we can only see results in the next season.
