Lisandro Martinez can equally serve as a defensive midfielder until Manchester United gets a proper Defensive Midfielder. A good defender with pace can serve as a defensive midfielder, he just have to be a good passer of the ball and tracking lost balls.
How long will Manchester United wait until they finalized a deal with Frank De Jong ? I'd so much be happy if they can introduce Ruben Neves of Wolverhampton.

Am surprised you did rate the Ukrainian International Oleksandr Zinchenko down this way. I consider him one of the best talents in the Manchester City squad. Let's face the fact, his got skill, speed and some shot power to support. Last season was a very hard time for him, with the on going war in his nation with Russia and the distress it would put him in, his sure not to be in his best but, his by far one of the best talents in Manchester City. Perhaps this is some deal to stimulate Arsenal to release Saka for them.
Let's not forget, R. Sterling and G. Jesus have left the team on transfer so, the options isn't as before and this could mean trouble for the bench.

I don't understand why he says Zinchnko is a very important player in Manchester City. I don't really understand how he measured his importance. Someone that is not a first team player cannot be that important to a club.

Saying why Guardiola is more interested in his attack than the defence could be his pattern of play. He believes that if he can score 4 - 5 goals evey match, it will be difficult for the opposition to equalize such goals. Besides while playing any club, Manchester City always has the larger possession. So Manchester City is not a defensive club.

look at two different clubs Ajax and barcelona and see what De jong and Martinez have shown. the value of their release clause must necessarily be different. If De Jong release clause is higher, I think it's very reasonable because his performances have been very good with Barcelona.

I find it difficult to say this now especially with the news that is currently gray because there are several versions at the moment namely the first is Barcelona who will arrest De Jong but for the others I read also the news that Barcelona and Manchester United are in full agreement and just complete the transfer of De Jong.
It's clearly going to be gray especially there's nothing that can really be confirmed right now.

I believe that the signing was for 30 million euros. As far as I know, the transfer is almost completed and the only thing left is Oleksandr Zinchenko discussing the personal terms and conditions with his new club. If they both can agree, he will be moving to his new club.

Nuno Tavares will probably leave the club not on a loan but for a transfer fee. I don't think that Arteta is going to find him very useful later on. I am looking forward to seeing how Arsenal performs in the upcoming season. They have made some really effective changes, and with this squad, they should be able to win the Europa League.

It looks like there will indeed be another agreement between City and Arsenal after some time ago Gabriel was officially agreed.
