22461  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multiple wallets on: March 16, 2015, 01:49:25 PM
Is it standard for one person to have several bitcoin wallets?
it is standard an in fact suggested for one person to have multiple "addresses" not wallets, in fact you would better change your receiving address every transaction.

but about multiple wallets, i myself have just tried out a couple of them to see the best suitable one for my needs.
22462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: March 16, 2015, 01:47:02 PM
Yeah iam earn some bitcoin today in Dice Sites. My capital is 0.1 and I profit 0.3 BTC its a simple way to double your bitcoin  Grin

this not at all a simple way to gain profit dude. when using Dice sites you are bound to lose not to win, it is a rare occasion that someone wins and actually profits from his initial input btc.
22463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bold move because 300$ is at the corner on: March 15, 2015, 11:10:12 AM
as i suspected this engine ran out of steam and had a setback for a while and i think it is going to be this way till next week that the price might lift up again.
22464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recommendation: Open the history books of Bitcoin Talk on: March 15, 2015, 11:05:31 AM
it is interesting to see that nothing is changed except the price itself. there is still trolls trolling around like always, cheering when price is rising and crying on price falling
22465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A PROFITABLE TRADE OR INVESTMENT JOURNEY, BUT HOW? on: March 15, 2015, 10:57:30 AM
As a newbie & due to my lack of knowledge about crypto market I lost my first 10 days collection of bitcoins in mid January/2015. When I saw the advertisement of a site, said that they would make 1 btc from 0.01 btc in 24 hours. I deposited the coins but they all gone.
After this I lost few doges last month to coinsdouble. Again this month lost to BTC-PROFIT. After these I started to read the topics of this forum very carefully. Hope this will help me to recognize the gold.
Now I'm more careful. But still in dilemma of how to get more coins? Really there is no genuine trader to help me to make my journey to this world profitable?
your first big mistake was investing without any research into the matter first. websites like coinsdouble are an absolute scam. they might pay out to the first group of people, but the rest will get scammed.
22466  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS NOT A FAUCET OWNER ALSO RESPONSIBLE TO PROMOTE A SCAM? on: March 15, 2015, 10:50:39 AM
no one can force you to clock the advertisement on the faucet site and most probably they can't even keep track of it either. the worst thing they can do is put an adblocker detector.
besides if a faucet forces you to click the ads just don't visit that faucet and visit one of the hundreds of other faucets
22467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: March 15, 2015, 10:46:46 AM

22468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How/where to earn bitcoins? (not faucets) on: March 15, 2015, 10:39:27 AM
try giveaway section

The giveaway section, faucets for altcoins that just launched, or giveaways of services that just launched.

The altcoin subforums used to be full of giveaways, then they stopped it. Is the giveaways section as good as it used to be?

It's usually gambling websites promoting their services now. (It's located in the gambling section anyways, so yeah) That means you'll probably have to wager your BTC after you receive them.

Worth a try though, OP. Although you probably don't get a chance to win the giveaways.
but that is a lot of work and time for just a small amount. you need to register at their website, confirm etc and then receive the tiny amount which you can only gamble away.
22469  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Woke up today and lost all my Bitcoins ! on: March 15, 2015, 10:32:45 AM
I firstly transferred 0.04 to an address on Mycelium and found out today that it got transfered to another address after 1 confirm. Secondly someone transferred my Bitcoins from both my wallets on my android phone 2.58187103 gambled them in the past 2 days and lost them all early morning to this address 1EdiKj78wUz6rFSmYQBTx9P165vEW27GiD. Can anyone help ? Thats all my Bitcoin gone in 3 days !
Have you checked your BTC balance in your wallet?
Or you've checked your BTC balance from blockchain?

Because a month before, (I'm using coinbase wallet) in early morning i've found in blockchain that all my balances are transferred into some other account. And i asked coinbase support team and they said

Quote
Most of those address in the TX are addresses attached to your Coinbase account. To see a list of addresses associated with your Coinbase account, see: https://www.coinbase.com/addresses. A new address is generated after each transaction.

As for what the TX actually is, we store up to 97% of our funds offline. Our system automatically moves bitcoin between our hot wallet and offline storage. Therefore the TX you mention is actually part of our security procedures.

You bitcoin balance is accurately shown when you log into your Coinbase account.

So you might contact your wallet's support team.

the transaction occurs here ► https://blockchain.info/tx/b619e7273af7128efd79ac2929ac756e4048645d981d6478db90cd2d07eb082c
in coinbase or any wallet like that you don't have control over your bitcoin (money). to put it simple, you have an account which has some btc in it, not the address. the website handles the bitcoin
but in mycelenium you have control over the bitcoin and no third party is involved so what you said does not apply here.

22471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What wallets, if any are already out that allow a full untraceable and annon way on: March 15, 2015, 10:20:56 AM
What wallets (if any) are already out that allow a full untraceable and annon way to buy, place and transfer bitcoin now. Like I can give someone the info to transfer funds into. Once it's done I can move it around so it cannot be followed. Then I can pull the funds using something like https://localbitcoins.com/ to sell them. All with a good amount of certainty that the trail has not been followed and the bitcoin is good/clean to be sold. I am looking at Kryptokit but can't find anyone who has used it yet so I would like to look at other also.
i think you can do this by using a mixer service. check out my current signature. you can enter any amount of bitcoin in this site and get that out to another address of yours but in this process the there will be no trail.
22472  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: March 15, 2015, 10:15:05 AM
this site is very good for referral earning like me i have many referral each Weekend i received 10 k sat from each site
just think if their are 50 site 50*10,000 = 500,000 sat from the faucet sites
the point is not about the amount of satoshi you got from using faucets, it is about how much "time" you put in to get that amount.
22473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IBM Rumored to Be Developing Bitcoin Alternative on: March 14, 2015, 07:27:17 AM
i think creating something like this by a big company is defeating the sole purpose of bitcoin which is being decentralized. besides it would be a new altcoin at best which is not gonna work unless it adds something new and important, not just simple changes.
22474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this bad or good news? on: March 14, 2015, 07:17:04 AM
it is going to draw more attention to bitcoin, and that is going to be good as always. but about replacing bitcoin, i doubt it.
22475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be ironic if the US Treasury was the secret bidder on the auction? on: March 11, 2015, 05:39:49 AM

22476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoins ever going to get rid of fiat? on: March 11, 2015, 04:58:46 AM
i don't think so. people are not ready to accept bitcoin worldwide and give up fiat. it is going to take so long for this to happen and who knows what future holds for bitcoin.
22477  Economy / Speculation / Re: OMG Its soon going to be $300 on: March 11, 2015, 04:54:54 AM
At the time I am writing this the bitcoin is at 296$.
It will soon definitely touch the 300$ mark. After 300 do you think its going to increase? Or are the greedy short term investors going to throw away the coins and bring down the price to sub 250s?
What's your view on this?
in my opinion, after reaching $300 it is going to sTay there for a while and maybe go down just a little. but after this period it is going to start rising again.
22478  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best Cloud mining Site? on: March 11, 2015, 04:48:10 AM
Does anybody know anything about this?
I received this email today in my junk folder and can't work out why they sent it to me if it's legit, i have nothing whatsoever to do with BTC mining. I'm thinking scam.
Scam or legit?

22479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INVEST BITCOIN!!! on: March 10, 2015, 06:54:26 PM
If the OP just bought Bitcoin on the date he posted (2/26/15) and held it, his coins would've been worth $40 more each today.

So at $255 per BTC on February 26th * say 10 Bitcoins for an overal fiat value of $2550.

At today's prices, you would've had $295 per BTC * 10 for $2950 equals $2950.  You would've made $400 fiat dollars just by sitting on it.

If you didn't just BUY and HODL and look at some scam invest, trading, or gambling site....you just cost yourself $400 for doing nothing basically.

Don't be a dumbass.  Just BUY and HODL.

It would have been a completely different scenario if the coins dropped in value. Hodling is nice, I get the point, but it's not that bad to diversify your possible source of income because if one fails to get you profit, there are always other option that you can choose from and rely on.
what you are saying is true when we are at a price bubble. it is the scenario of a while back when the price was high. now that it is in a big decline it is bound to go up.
22480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pressure is building, this thing is gonna blow! on: March 10, 2015, 06:30:16 PM
i will happily sit back and watch the price go up since i bought at $200 ish. so to the moooon.
