I see there is a good potential in this coin but there is no value to it now for some reason

Can someone explain to me why making phone calls from a wallet is interesting? Im not fully understanding whats special about vior...at first I was like wow what a great idea, then went and told some ppl about it and they asked me whats so good about viorcoin? I would say well you can make phone calls and msgs... but quickly realized I'm either uninformed or its just nothing special. Please this isn't an attempt to bash the coin at all, I'm seriously interested in vior and just want to know some details and more information from everyone who loves it.
Thanks
well you dont have to go far to see what the potential worth of a telecom business is, if you look up MikeMike's history he has added in a million reasons for that and why encrypted telcom is important. On my end, I believe that is communication that builds communities. Once people start to use the voip and video services they will introduce others who dont have the know how to figure out bitcoin, and they will quickly begin to see the advantages that crypto has to offer. No one outside the crypto world knows how to use a qt wallet, but everyone can figure out how to use a skype service. Why? because it is useful not because its any easier. the cool thing about vior is that it forces the user to figure out how to use a qt wallet, and in doing so opens them up to the whole crypto world. no one besides those disenfranchised by bitcoin or those hoping to make money in a gamblers environment actually care about regular altcoins at all. The only hope the crypto community has is to create useful blockchains that allow regular day to day services in a semi encrypted environment. Once people use it. It can be viewed simply as the payment system and not an Alt Coin. There will be a little bit of disconnect between the two. However the ability to get involved is just a "Provided Link Away".

You can chat with your Girl/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband and not worry about someone using your conversation and video call against you for nefarious purposes. Once set up properly... You can call around the world and most of the time pay the cost of a local call.

lol because i live in canada..... dont want to take a cross canada tour until the thaw =P
also i have to organize a graphic designer order from china set up some user interface and all that jazz, im sure there are people in the know with the skills to do this quickly, but its not a skill set i currently have, i have to learn. User Interface? The College crowd and younger generation won't mind using it as it is. I could see for the Beta rollout and less tech savvy... hmmm ok ill work on getting one out that just has a folder with a link to download the qt and a simple how to get started. I guess i could set it up so that it has a zipped qt wallet on it without the wallet.dat file Put an ID on them so each one can claim a Bounty. Once you have everything set you can download the graphics to be printed on stickers paper and anyone around the world can load them on USB sticks and hand them out anywhere. They can consult with you for the "Bounty Serial #"

morning everyone.
just had a thought,
for the people who arent to worried about keeping themselves anonymous we should create groups based on the country you live in, then set up some booths to introduce viorcoin at universites around the world. We could hand out usb cards with viorcoin qt wallet loaded on it, create a pamphlet describing the benefits of crypto and directions on how to set up viorcalls.
i wasnt going to try organizing something like this until september of next year, but with the speed that the dev is pumping out tech we could probably shoot for spring break.
anyways i was just up early contemplating how to go about this. well need a couple thousand usb sticks, a graphic designer, the full roll out of tech including coinville, and most importantly a group of people who are skilled at PR.
BC
ill try to work on a prototype of the card over the holidays. looks like ordering the cards would be simple enough i just need a graphic for the front and back. anyone wanna create a cool design for the front and back of a credit card? snipped... this would probably be fine for the front but the back should give some info btw this would be the first time i have ever tried to do something like this so if someone else wants to front this project instead of me..... it would probably go smoother =P Why would you wait till spring break? Soon as the Gateway is functional you can go for it. Even have all the USB Sticks with the decals on them all ready to go for the holiday break. Hit the Malls too...

Send a note to Eurbids for starters. I'm not a tech. person but will try also to get some answers. What OS / Version do you have? Copy and save your wallet.dat file and download the wallet again. Replace the wallet.dat file.

just a few more questions for you eurbids
1)will you be releasing any of the promised upgrades to kore 2.0 2)will you implement the messenger? 3)will you be working with the koreteam to implement the code for Korephone so they can get landline to address working? 4)will you be implementing a proper buddylist/phonebook for kore voip? 5)will you be able to implement conference calls?
please be specific as your answer as they will be the deciding factor on whether some of us stay to help build the community, or instead jump on the train with the competition while we wit for the KORE 3.0.
also remember that if there are to many broken promises the community will have a hard time trusting that there will be a working 3.0 to jump on in 6 months.
1. OSX version is already fixed. Buddies working fine without presence and SMS that it's a server problem, wallet is ready for it. 2. yes 3. no, korephone it's a MikeMike and Kore Team project. I've not part in this.4. look the one 5. conference calls it's a interesting feature. I will look about it Tell me you now, please, what is this "many broken promises" ? I've jumped only a one release, not more broken promise in my history. Eurbids, Are you saying that IF you are given code that won't take much time for you at all to allow the KorePhone to call wallet addresses that you will not do it? But of course I will do it. But my priority and my work is on the wallet. I wanted to mean that I don't write code (firmware) for korephone.Hi Eurbids, Hope this message finds you and Yours well. How's the progress going with your coding and are there any fixes or possible features to the wallet you can release. Progress is going well on the korephone. When we have something for you we will post it on the thread. Much thanks, ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) MM
