FYI: Staking is down. Could you look into it please and let me know what you find. Much thanks! MM I report it, but remember: staisybit is using coinscripts and isnt staking like a homewallet. but thanks for your report! steve Thanks Steve for this and for the prompt reply. If the server is down, dev at least should make a post in bitcointalk or twitter, it is not a realiable way to do the things, i hope it can be fixed soon, i have too some money in When the site loads it is frozen in time and has been frozen for all this time. I know at least for over 14 hours that I thought something was up. Would be good to get a notice from SB here that they have not been hacked etc. and the fact they have not posted here is not good. Could people please check addys to see if coins are being moved... MikeMike, you are always thinking on HACKING and Co...Like staisybit wrote for a whilel...he is upgrading and developing AWESOME stuff. He also is always responsible for us...So...keep calm and dont fear something! Greetz Steve Good to see the site is back up and all seems well. Next time at least post something here that there is not any serious issues. Most of us had been scammed by bad exchanges etc or even hacked so my caution is well founded and legitimate. Best to you. Posting an update...
I did a test with Verizon tech support last week having miners run for a few days. Gave them all the data and they will not reply to my emails since I sent them that data, very disturbing.
Got somebody on the top of level 2 tech support today doing another test tonight we'll see what happens.

Hi dogie,
Where do I go to find the tx/rx data on the s4? I'm still having issues with my verizon hotspot for some reason its logging 3 to 4 times the data that it's transmitting but I need to prove it to them
I'm not really sure what you're asking. Have you got an example you can show me of what you want in another case? If you go to the Network tab in an S3 you will see the data transfer real time log in tx/rx. I do not see this feature in the S4 Network tab and hoping there is a way to locate the tx/rx data usage log of the S4. I guess you could find it via putty, but I would have zero idea of the commands required. Thanks problem here all that is Greek to me... CK might know, you can find him in his cgminer thread. Thanks, Will check it out. MM

No news for kore?
Hi Justin, We are receiving weekly updates from the coder. The Kore Community will be updated when hurdles are overcome. No sense getting into the weekly coding issues. Where we have been stuck for months is compiling the Windows wallet, but half that time the coder had some personal matters and is back on track. The Linux wallet has been for the most part completed, is in our possession, but any testing is kind of futile since changes were made to get the windows wallet compilation going means the Linux wallet is being modified. No further updates will follow on this matter and any requests for updates will be referred to this update, till we cross this Rubicon. We on the Kore Team and the Coder do appreciate the Community's patience. Rest assured, the Coder is competent and gone beyond in making this tech be available. MikeMike

This is the S1 thread ...
what's left of it, Just us old farts with outdated miners Yeah I was just referring to the fact that many of the posts on the last page are not about S1, but about S3. There's an S3 thread where they belong. Outdated but still useful under the right circumstances. I posted here in the S1 thread because maybe the setup for the s1 Wireless is similar to the s3 so I thought maybe it could help here. I have not mined the s1 wirelessly only the s3. What I did was take the antenna wire from the s1 and used it on my S3 units and therefore only had to purchase the cheap antennas and scrounge what I could from old wireless devices.

They seem to be logging a few times the data usage mining through my jetpack/hotspot.

Anyone else have this happen to them?
I have two S3 miners running through WIFI and also connected to only one to my computer by Ethernet cable. I can access both WIFI miners through that 1 cable so am communicating to the second one I guess through a bridge.
Does not matter which one I am connected to, it is the same result. Pretty cool!
I guess is the way it is meant to work but would like to know for sure.

Just got off the phone with Verizon technical support they say it's the miners that I'm using turns out my data usage for the month chunk from 46 gigabytes to nearly 20 gigabytes something's up
I only have 1 s3 and 1 s4 for running for about 8 hours a day and then to s3's running the rest of the time. And not even consistently
Your being bamboozeled, hood-winked. You ain't admiring the Horizon, the Horizon is likely playing you. Here are the stats on one of my s3's for the past 27d 22h 13m ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rx: 179.84 MB tx: 184.96 MB So as you can see, even if they where taking the summation of your rx/tx value(s) your still looking at less than 0.5 GB/Month per s3. Hi Nwfella, Could you post a screen shot? I just finished my first test with Verizon and others proof of tx/rx usage helps. MM

hi sorry if this has been asked before, but...... i've got 2 x s3 here started to configure one of them. got the pool details in ok. when i change the wan network over to dchp, click change protocol and then apply and save, it just sits there saying "waiting for changes to be applied" been about 2 hours now. it's hashing and submitting results to the pool (about 420 - 430 gh/s) but i can't set up the other one until its finished. any idea how long it could take ?? many thanks
2 hours on changing to DHCP? It should be like 30 seconds or so. Have not heard of it taking that long. It has been a while since I have dealt with S3's. But I don't remember any operation taking that long. Once you change to DHCP you need to open a browser enter 192.168.1.1 to get into your router and search for the S3 to find the IP it has assigned it. Once you have the IP put it in a browser and you will then be able to log into your S3 again. The reason it sits there waiting to update is you ae no longer connected to it because it was assigned an IP by your router. Hope that helps. Happy Mining! MM

New Shortened setup version:S3 WIFI setup including WWAN static IPs.The info Frotz provided helped and thanks! I could not connect through my Verizon hot spot but I have it set to static IP so I think this is the problem and will have to change it to DHCP when I have time and try it. The S3 did connect to another wireless network. I followed your instructions but reduced them and included my findings not that all may matter but it worked for me in the following sequence: S3 WIFI SETUP:1- Starting from a factory-reset miner, log into it through Ethernet plugged directly from your computer to the miner. Go to WAN and write down all the following addresses under your static IP of 192.168.1.99 Here is the list... IPv4 netmask: IPv4 gateway: IPv4 broadcast: Use custom DNS servers: Once you have the above 4 addresses written down... Go to Network->Wifi, Hit Search, find your Wireless Network/Cell Phone Wifi/Wifi Extender and connect with it. Then go to Network->Interfaces-WWAN at the bottom and hit "Connect". 2- Even if LAN has DHCP hit apply and save anyway, For me this generated a MAC address. 3- Go to WWAN and change DHCP to Static IP and enter the listed info above list... IPv4 netmask: IPv4 gateway: IPv4 broadcast: Use custom DNS servers: Hit Save and Apply. Then go to WAN and change to DHCP and you will begin mining. Repeat the procedure for multiple miners with different WWAN static IPs. Happy WIFI Mining! MikeMike
