I rebooted and pinged but still same:
ping: bad address 'openwrt.org'

EDIT:
I unplugged it and still the same...
1922  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: July 15, 2015, 05:44:33 AM
OK I hit "sync with browser" and save/apply.

Still pinging a bad address...

EDIT:
Tried rebooting. Same issues.

Looking above try a different DNS server.  I like 8.8.8.8  it is a DNS managed by google, and easy to remember Smiley

Let me know what happens after trying different DNS.

I changed:
"Use custom DNS servers": to 8.8.8.8

If you go to network and then diagnostics ( I believe that is right on S3 I could be wrong).  When you try to ping something online does it show it has internet connection?

Have you tried another pool just to see?

traceroute is the same.
traceroute: bad address 'openwrt.org'

This is what I get when I ping "Nslookup"

Server:    127.0.0.1
Address 1: 127.0.0.1 localhost

nslookup: can't resolve 'openwrt.org': Name or service not known

They will not even mine to Bitmain's default addresses....

If it's having network issues it could cause many problems.  This is why I'm asking for screenshot of networking setting page for lan.

Can you post your network settings of one not working?  I'm really wanting to see it's network setup, and DNS.

With that it could reveal something, worth a shot.

This is from the S3 that's mining:

PING openwrt.org (78.24.191.177): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=0 ttl=46 time=187.396 ms
64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=1 ttl=46 time=194.451 ms
64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=2 ttl=46 time=181.763 ms
64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=3 ttl=46 time=202.497 ms
64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=4 ttl=46 time=217.876 ms

--- openwrt.org ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 5 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 181.763/196.796/217.876 ms

Well looks good there.  Try another pool see what happens.

If that does not work if you can post a picture of your networking lan setup.

All the Miners that are not mining ping the same:

ping: bad address 'openwrt.org'

Can you upload a screenshot of the config page?

This is one I did not flash the firmware on.

EDIT:
I tried using the same IP address and settings and cables etc. as the s3 that is running but won't mine.
Also tried hooking up an S1 but same issues.

1931  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: July 15, 2015, 01:58:20 AM
snipped...

Hi dogie,

Have a problem with my S3s.
They won't mine.
Been stored for a few months.

Set to factory default they will not mine to bitmain nor mine when setup.
I flashed to latest firmware and the red and green LEDs are always on and I do have access to it.

I tried flashing to the next oldest.
I get access but not to the setup page.
It says modify voltage and save so I flashed to the newest firmware again.
Could you give me a hand?

I was able to get an S4 running and one S3.
The next 4 S3s the same thing happens.

EDIT:
I only flashed the one S3.
The others no matter how many resets or reboots or repower they are all the same.
The green LED flashes steady but does not mine and I have full access.

EDIT#2:
I flashed the same one back to the first firmware.
The Red LED is not constantly on anymore.
But it's the same way it was before.
It will not mine and the green LED is a steady blink.

1932  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ho to Mine Antminers Through a Laptop wireless USB stick??? on: July 14, 2015, 06:56:02 AM
Turns out my My EA6500 supports bridging only in Lan mode though it does say wireless.

I'm picking up a wireless range extender and will post how it works...

MM

Or you can get a wireless router that supports client mode.  Not all of them do.  But with client mode you can connect through wireless to another AP, and plug in multiple devices in the Ethernet slots.

Also on router it could be personal opinion but if your looking at range extenders/routers.  I would see if you can get one with upgradable antennas.   I personally like being able to upgrade the antennas.  But that is personal preference.

Thanks, I appreciate the ideas.
I'm cash strapped right now so taking the cheapest course of action.
It does make sense to get removable antennas if possible.

UPDATE:

If the Community including the ones who nearly never post as well as those who have
been more vocal and still have not contributed stepped forward discretely or otherwise
and each donated .01BTC to .2BTC we'd have more than enough for this wallet work
and the next. These are not big dollar amounts we are talking about in regard to
what you have invested into Korecoin.
There is no better way to get an ROI/Return for Your Investment.
The alternative is Korecoin is left to die along with what you have already invested.

EDIT:
Just received another email from the Coder and hope to have a meeting soon to finalize the scope of work,
pricing and expect to send them a down payment soon.
The route we are going is a better one and will most likely cost more than what is stated below.
We need to at least meet the goal below and we are about 2BTC short.

There is 1.35944 BTC in the donation address already and 0.18472075 BTC in the old Escrow address which I donated for a total of 1.54436075 BTC. Leaving a required balance of (1.629 - 2.449 BTC)
Near half way there.

BTC Donation Address: 13xcUHggtpUcip2bZT4wd9FcK3PENNv3oD

It pains me to see you have to ask. I wish I could donate all that is missing and more. unfortunately I am single father and have little to spare, less in crypto. even so, I will sell some I have mined and try to help, not because my grand total of 10.000 kore will ever make me rich but because I belive in supporting hard work. I feel like I know you Mike, and be sure I care for your success, and hope it is along Kore.

Best of luck, promise I will help as soon as I can.

SP

Thank you Sir, for all involved.
 Smiley

The success of Kore is not only one for all of us but the general public as well.
I appreciate you making the efforts, posting and kind words!

I'll work on getting a new intro page up and running this week..

Can everyone left please test out the video caller and voice, we need to troubleshoot first to see which os versions work and which hardware works, as well as to figure out locations..

Confirm our meeting time for Monday when you have it.
Thanks!

Hey guys I'm back after a long vacation...

How many people are left here?

If there is demand I will try to help rebuild this project...

We still have video call and chat.
But we may need to pull back to the wallet before viorcoin  dev introduced the gateway..

I'm not willing to drop the money on recoding viorcoin, and the old dev hasn't replied to any of my pms  asking to buy the code that he had to this point.

If however we can grow this project as an advanced at coin with chat messaging and video than there is a chance that we can generate enough funds to build a side Telcom business that uses viorcoin as its financing method...

We will need a community of over 500 people, or at least 10 interested investors from different regions to push our of crapcoin status...

Please pm me if you want to be involved..

So far rakesh me and Mike Mike have been the only ones willing to put in time and or money.

Interested to hear if there is any feedback
