I am using the Block-Chain wallet from last 4 years and never faced any problem so far. Our coins are safe there, just we have to follow the security instructions to protect our coins. I don't think they will offer the free coins after the fork, lets see what happen.
2263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying using BTC on: November 06, 2017, 06:47:23 PM
There is too much volatility in the price of the bitcoins, big companies will never accept the bitcoins until the prices are stable for longer time. Many country's governments has refused to regulate the bitcoins and hence companies are staying away from adopting bitcoins.

2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 06, 2017, 05:40:29 PM
A strong come back from NZ as they beat India by 40 runs on second T20.NZ batsman was superb on this match because they made 196 in 20 overs.India was going well but couple of quick wickets cost the match.Munro played an.outstanding innings of 109.He well deserve the MOM award. So the Last T20 which will decide the series winner will be held on November 7

Munro batting was superb. he accelerated his score very quickly and due to which NZ reached on the top of the score as compared to India. Batting second on 10 runs per over is never easy as a couple of overs without boundary being scored suddenly the require rate shoots up and you tend to lose quick wickets in order to accelerate.

Colin Munro batting just outstanding. Munro should work hard though he made a ton. I would say, a quality and competitive cricket after a long time. Yesterday was the day of New Zealand.

Tomorrow is the final T20 match between these two teams again and expecting another superb match. I think again NZ may upset home team India in this final match and win this series as well. Because they are in a very good form both in batting and bowling. Whoever give the best performance will win this match and I suggest better don't bet now on any team.

New Zealand is capable to beat India as they have shown excellent all round performance so far in the ODi and T20 series. Though they have won the last match but it will be really difficult for NZ as India will try hard to win the last match and series. India will be looking to repeat the ODI series's result, it will be really interesting to see this match as both the teams have equal chance.
2266  Other / Meta / Re: Did i get hacked? Need help on: November 06, 2017, 11:38:03 AM
It's hard to proof due to the fact that if your account was compromised due to a phishing attempt, why would they just post with your account without changing your password. They would at least take over full control of your account and sell it for money.  The motto is "innocent till proven guilty", however you are in a tough situation. The only thing you can do is PM SebastianJu regarding your BTC, and in regards to the phishing links you send in PM's that will be hard to prove, because i don't think theymos will check IP logins just for your account.

Will Theymos be motivated to check IP logins for a fee, this will prove my innocence beyond doubt?

Theymos must be very busy with other important things, I am sure he don't have enough time to look into your case and check the IPs. It would be really tough for you to prove your innocence as no one will believe you as per the current circumstances. You can just try to get back your bitcoins from SebastianJu but still there are less chances.
2267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 05, 2017, 06:12:19 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.
Never bought drugs with bitcoin.
Really never bought anything with bitcoin.
But i heard about silk road and other dark websites who sold drugs with bitcoin.
These things really destroyed the image of bitcoin in public.

Yeah, such incidents are the hurdles for the growth of bitcoins and many people are considering to stay away from the bitcoins without knowing the truth and ignoring the other advantages of the bitcoins. Bitcoin could not be the main stream currency, unless it has clean image and backing by the government authorities.
2268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 05, 2017, 06:06:13 PM
Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

It can not be considered as greedy but could be considered as a wise decision. People are here to make the profit and as the bitcoin value is rapidly increasing, it might touch the sky in the next few years. So it is better to hold the coins for future profit than selling them for short term profit.

2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10.000 = 1BTC on New Year? on: November 04, 2017, 05:56:40 PM
What will be a bitcoin rate by new year?
We'll see, right now I would likely say that it is doubtful but over the past year all of my predictions have been wrong so you'd almost be in a better position if you invest now and, given my luck, it will be at $10,000 before the new year.

Realistically I don't think it is impossible, I don't say it is likely but there is always a chance if more rallies happen, like the on that pushed us over $7k and into the low-mid $7k territories. I wouldn't mind if we keep on trending in the way we have and we get higher before the year is out.

Even I think that bitcoins will manage to reach 10,000 mark by the new year if the current trend continues. There should not be any further fork in the future, as it is affecting the bullish run of the bitcoins.
2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 04, 2017, 05:38:56 PM
NZ is moving  towards 200 mark as they have already make 168/2 in 16.3 overs . Munro is batting on 93 runs from just 46 balls. He is batting brilliantly. It will be tough match unless somebody from India make the century to make them win . Else its a NZ match from here.

They are short of 4 runs to reach 200 runs and finish the innings with 196 runs for just two wickets lose. It was a very good batting from NZ players and at the same time today Indian fielding was not up to the mark. They dropped catches like NZ did in the last match. Now India needs around 10 runs per over to win this match and it will be a good test for this strong batting line up.

That was a very poor batting performance by the Indian team, no one manged to hold the wickets, except Kohli who tried hard but failed to continue the same. Dhoni was too late to deliver the fireworks, full credit should be given to the NZ bowlers as they managed to take the wickets at regular intervals. Excellent century by the Munro who made sure to set huge target for the opposition. Now again the last match will be decider for the T20 series, same as one day series.
2272  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 04, 2017, 02:12:53 PM
Cryptocurrency has been widely criticised for lack of regulation. Do you think it is possible to come up with a regulatory framework around Bitcoin?

There is a need to regulate the bitcoins if we want the Bitcoins to become a main stream currency. It is not possible without the government backing and I believe there should certain law related to cryptocurrency implemented by the local government; it will help to increase the trust for the bitcoins and to stabilize/increase the value.
2273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates Praised the Bitcoins on: November 04, 2017, 01:57:36 PM
Thank you everyone for sharing the views; i believe we had concrete discussion on this topic, hence I am locking this thread. I hope, more such personalities like Bill Gates will come forward in the future to support the bitcoin community.
2274  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace Abuse (why is it allowed?) on: November 04, 2017, 01:49:39 PM
With the growing popularity of Bitcoin each day, more and more scammers will flood this forum and find and more and more creative ways to scam people especially those who are new to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

I believe that somehow there will be stringent rules and policies to thwart these scammers from doing their illicit businesses here.

Moderators don't have enough time to look into such case, there are many other tasks which they have to perform. It is our responsibility to not to fall into scammers traps and we should highlight such threads to give negative trust from the DT members; if still people are dealing with the red accounts then it is their fault.

If you all know about online forex trading, you will know you can only withdraw to the account that you used to fund it.
Some Brokers will send SMS confirmation for every transaction.
I've been on this forum for years and nobody has reported been defrauded by me.

You have been on this forum for years but still you are a Jr. Member which registered in 2014. It means you  have alt accounts with senior rank, so why don't you use that account to prove your seniority ? Feared for red paint or what ?

Note: No one will fall into your trap, try something else.
2276  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: After China, India may ban Cryptocurrency Trading - Finasko.com Reports on: November 04, 2017, 01:24:56 PM
It will be badly affect the Indian bitcoin community as there are so many enthusiastic bitcoiners from India and there are many bitcoin service providers. This negative news could also force the investors for panic selling, which will again hurt the growth of the bitcoins. Governments should take proper measures to regulate the bitcoins, banning will never solve the problem as people will find the ways to use the bitcoins.

If they replied then they seen it but if not then they don't. You slipped that chance when they seen your mail but infortunately you forgot to attach your email so all you got to do is to wait.

They haven't responded via dm. Only hilariousandco has responded here.

You should have some patience as there are too many pending cases before yours, so I think it will take more time to get it resolved.

I hope your account will be recovered soon, best luck mate.

2279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated as IPOs? on: November 03, 2017, 07:14:28 AM
There is a need to regulate these ICOs as there has been so many scams in the name of ICOc, innocent people are being scammed by these people and authorities are unable to do anything. So there should be strict law to regulate such ICOs and avoid the possible scams.
2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin crash is imminent on: November 03, 2017, 07:08:21 AM
Bitcoin bull run is nearing its end, the steam is running out. Altcoins will rally after the fallout is all said and done.

BTC price at post $7,288

I think the dream run will continue till next 15 days and after the fork there will be little correction but price will be stable after few days, so there is no need to worry. People should avoid the panic selling and make sure to hold the bitcoins during such fork events.
