2261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is increasingly being used for criminal activities on: May 07, 2021, 03:00:30 PM
This is very contrary to the infographic provided by a former FBI Director in the public.  That you've shared the link below.
This has been published because of the campaign of Janet Yellen against Bitcoin which is something that other parties are investigating.

I pity Janet for demonizing cryptocurrency when in fact she knows how government, legalized syndicates, a secret organization does.  I find Janet and the people behind her scared of the threat of Bitcoin producing enthusiast that will soon become uncontrollably great intelligent people.

The governments are scare of intelligent people because their capabilities of replacing them in their positions are too high.
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Latin American e-commerce giant bought $ 7.8 million worth of bitcoins on: May 07, 2021, 02:47:09 PM
Good news around, I saw and heard a lot of institutions buying Bitcoin in the worth millions of dollars.

Anyway, I did my research about MercadoLibre because I think it was just an error but you’ve mentioned that MercadoLibre is a public trading company, but it’s not.  It’s an e-commerce company that is listed in the public stock market and I think that's what you want to say.

And also, Mercadolibre isn’t based in Argentina.  They were legally incorporated in the United States but the board or founders are Argentinean.

AFAIK, MercadoLibre has a wide range of payment methods and I think the reason they bought Bitcoin is in line with their business and I think they're expecting that Bitcoin will soon be accepted to their business as a mode of payment.
2263  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian Government Ban on Crypto, the P2P dilemma on: May 07, 2021, 02:17:47 PM
In the first place, I don't know which P2P exchange you've used and how becomes that so much fee.

I’m don’t live in the same country as you do but I’d like to give empathy and sympathy with all the things you had to go through, I couldn’t imagine myself being trapped by my own government.

On this one, I can tell that the clear motive of the government is to stop cryptocurrencies at it is a threat to them.  It might be a threat to the government's leadership, their business partner internally, and so on or so forth.  It’s just crystal that someone is being hurt because of Bitcoin and it seems like they are trying to control the numbers of the wealthy people like a crab that pulls down the rest if they're being outworked or outsmarted.

If they wanted to protect or help, it might they would give a grace period and during that time, they could have given you chance to liquidate your assets first before banning it.

If you really wanted to have Bitcoin at low fees without P2P exchange or regular exchange that required KYC, we have here in the forum Currency exchange and find a better escrow for the safe transaction.
2264  Economy / Economics / Re: April 2021 set a new record India. How much effect in Indian economy? on: May 05, 2021, 11:56:37 PM
April 2021 set a new record of Rs. 1,41,384 crore in GST collection in India.
.
.
 IT good for county economic?
That’s very good to hear.
However, with the scaling IT companies have I’m afraid that the tax has been reduced ultimately in a legal way.  It might Indian Executives already knew how to play the game.

That’s why having an accountant in a team is very effective (a clever one).  Filing return requirements and paying GST have to be done by professionals to be effective and to avoid penalties.

But on this type of structure?
I don’t think this will become consistent and India must be prepared after the pandemic instead and see what will happen.
2265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: May 05, 2021, 11:44:32 PM
Is anyone here considering trading and investing crypto as a source of income?  IMO, I won't.

Get a decent job and should have a stable source of income.  In that way, you can fulfill your needs and also if your trading and investment habit.
Crypto trading and investing are very risky and I tend to agree with that, there's no assurance that you will and it's unpredictable either you will gain profit and you will lose, it seems a sort of gambling.

When you have a stable income, you can afford the amount that you want to invest in crypto, either it will win or loss in trading or waiting for an unknown time frame in getting profit from investing, there's no worry about it because you have a job which had a stable income.
2266  Other / Meta / Re: If my comments/posts make you angry, please stop reading them. on: May 05, 2021, 11:32:09 PM
If you noticed that there are frequently deleted from your posts, that's a sign that you will improve your posting style, (I have done this before) and avoid engaging low-quality topics and don't post a comment if you don't know the discussion.  Consider also those thread discussion that has been reached 5 pages are most commonly spam.

I tend to agree above, it should contribute and interact those discussions with constructive and good quality posts.

Be always on the topic and no one of your posts will be deleted, they aren't angry with you, it might we should clean the forum from the off-topic posts.  It's all about forum concerns to preserve good quality topics/posts, not users/members or even the artist that you have said.

Just move on and improve your quality posting.
2267  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy is booming, but people are not seeing it. on: May 05, 2021, 10:51:36 PM
US economy is finally booming and it is a big relief for all of us, but in a worrying sign people are yet not seeing that boom, and this makes me wonder what happens if the general masses can’t feel the boom, will the US economy once again slip downwards?.
It might the reason behind that besides people always wanting more and being ungrateful is that not all people benefit from a booming economy.  That’s very impossible.

But actually, I don’t really see the US having a booming economy.  Economically wise, my presumption is US’s gap is going downwards.
Fiats are being printed almost every day for band-aid solutions for this pandemic and loans have been executed in the world banks and lastly, 70% of the workforce couldn’t move properly yet because of the pandemic.  Not all of the businesses and industries could be done remotely.

Economists once said that it would take 10-15 years for the U.S to recover from the loss they had during the pandemic, slowly but surely.

Just my two cents.
2268  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 05, 2021, 02:48:18 PM
IMO, regardless of the pandemic, the shift will always happen and the paper business is actually the one on which it is losing its industry very much now.

Imagine, schools being done over the internet?
Notes being written with digital notepads and sticky notes?  Even people didn't even notice that they aren’t using papers that often anymore compared to when the internet wasn’t there and not yet developed.

There will always be shiftings that would happen and that is the reason why we’re here.  Financial services are becoming different now and it’s becoming much free, services being offered have become more convenient and the freedom is there, IMO.
2269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does the market need your money for liquidity gap/shift? on: May 05, 2021, 02:00:13 PM
IMO, I think you just had to be more consistent and focus.  The scenarios you provided might only be a coincidence and besides, no one is watching us and I don’t think they would spend enough funds to develop artificial intelligence to go against our trade.

If this really happens it should persist but for now, I personally never experienced this with a pattern that is stinky. This happens to us but very least (at least once) and we know that it was just a coincidence.

AFAIK, we trade with highs and lows but we were able to execute trades in favor of us.  So you might try it again and be careful this time.
2270  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 05, 2021, 01:02:50 PM
I don’t think that this only applies in Africa.  It might apply to almost all of the countries in the world and presumably, the main thing we had to rethink is to give rights to the government to have control of our countries like 100%.

Look what happened, I went to a government agency lately in our country.  It's our National SEC but looks what happened?
They wanted to collect money and they would say it is for insurance, but if you know the law same as me, insurance is not a must, you can decline the offer, but they insisted that it was mandatory.  And look, I escalated it and earned an apology from them.  I just imagine what if it was a different person who doesn’t have an idea with legal yet?
2271  Other / Archival / Re: Yobit fake trade history on: May 04, 2021, 11:57:42 PM
As we heard on this exchange platform was that scamming users, weird and fake trading volume, house of scam projects or shit tokens, and many shady activities.  So in the first place, why you are choosing them since we all know their negative activities.

However, I have heard that most of the exchanges now have this problem, they can't show their actual trading volume and probably this is one of their marketing strategies to lure traders and new users to use them as an exchange.

Before I'm using this as a liquidity metric to know the actual trading volume per exchange and its comparison but since it's now owned by Binance, it's hard to trust that might could be there a biased, but so far, I don't see.

2272  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: COINBENE SCAM on: May 04, 2021, 11:32:35 PM
I suggest you only contact them using this email support support@coinbene.com and wait for their response than answering those fake admin/support in telegram.
This is always advisable when contacting the support team, always heads up on their email address, not by their telegram admin.  You can send your ticket and patiently wait.

Did you know that telegram can be faked?  Or might the telegram admin itself wanted to scam you and it might selectively be scamming users those who will fool them?  If you don't have a big amount there, it's better for you to leave that exchange and find a better one.  I don't even familiar with this exchange and I just now heard even though they are registered in 2017.
2273  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Rate the Exchange based on your Experience on: May 04, 2021, 11:12:18 PM
A crypto exchange platform that has a quick response of everything you will need like KYC verification, withdrawal, and most of all customer support when you have issues to be solved.  And it followed with the large volume and high liquidity are most likely most traders choice.

I didn't use a trading exchange frequently because I'm not a trader, I used them often when I have tokens or coins to sell.  I used HitBTC before since they don't require KYC and later on Gate.io but they also have KYC verification and stop using them until now the only choice is Binance since you can easily and quickly put order.

For now, if you want to be a good trader especially day trading whatever style it is, Scalping, Day Trading, Swing Trading, Position Trading, Range Trading, Intraday Trading, and Investing, Binance is the answer.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin is now being pumped with BTC on: May 04, 2021, 10:47:46 PM
Dogecoin was always on hype and it is under Elon Musk's influence.  It might be the reason for the sudden increase because recently Elon Musk tweeted the image of Doge barked to the moon.  We know how influencer he is that could be changed people's minds and those who follow him.  Social media hype had been always been there and probably you can ride this too to gain profit and wait when Elon Musk tweeted Bitcoin and either Dogecoin.

In other conclusions, when Bitcoin dominance will increase, it's most likely altcoins price will increase.  I saw not only Dogecoin was pumped, but also Ethereum.  This could be another reason.
2275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MetaMask warns of new phishing bot on: May 04, 2021, 10:23:04 PM
Thanks for the head-up.

Newbies will always prone to this target because they'd lack knowledge towards keeping their crypto assets safe.  I can't imagine how they think that there's instant support for Metamask that can assist you when you have a problem, AFAIK, most decentralized wallets didn't have online support, and if there is, it could be from scammers.

This is very common for those online crypto wallets, not only Metamask, even Trustwallet before there's impersonating process from scammers.  The best thing to do is always verify those wallets that you wanted to use.  Scammers will always find a way to scam naive and people that lack knowledge in crypto and most of them are newbies, we should always care to share a warning like this.
2276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen after all bitcoin are mined on: May 03, 2021, 11:33:40 PM
For now, let's enjoy what Bitcoin had that potentially brings us more profit, the 100+ years are far away, and approximate it will occur in the year 2140 which is may I think Bitcoin more expensive and can't even use as a mode of payment because of the high fees.

Miners can still be rewarded through the transaction fee even though if once the circulating supply reaches the maximum and Bitcoin miners will not able to receive the block reward.  It might Bitcoin miners will still earn through the transaction fee and I don't know in that year how much the transaction fee, it could be thousands of dollars in value even in a small amount of fraction.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My crypto portfolio, please give me some feedback on: May 03, 2021, 11:07:13 PM
I tend to with others opinion, it's a large list of coins in your portfolio that might it's hard for your to track them and most of them I didn't hear.  Just try to focus on 10-15 altcoins included Bitcoin.  That's a not bad portfolio, you gave a big hit on those potential coins that might pump the price in the future, IMO, 5-6 coins to invest in a long term is quite enough for me and I will give prior to Bitcoin and must have greater allocations than the other altcoins.

But that's your portfolio, you're free to choose whatever you want.  Just keep holding them and never get panic and sell, sometimes a strong holer might worth it, in the end, I proved this on myself.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: where can I exchange Bitcoin for ETH without a MIN amount or KYC on: May 03, 2021, 10:31:02 PM
A list Instant exchanges might what you are looking for, that thread was created by staff member OmegaStarScream.  Most of the instant exchanges didn't have a KYC verification upon using them but do check first how much the fee and might your $25 can't recover the fee.  And also, reading FAQ and TOS are very important to avoid error circumstances ahead.

DEXs are good exchanges for those traders who avoided KYC/AML implementation, but the liquidity of such exchnage is very low, it might take how many hours or days your trading order.
2279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ideas for short term investments! on: May 03, 2021, 05:06:01 PM
The most priority is to have some research first before investing in the short term and as an expert says, don't take too much risk and make sure that you aren’t taking more risk than you can afford IMO.

Pump and dump groups are very common as of now and it might the best to avoid them as much as possible especially in the Telegram group.  Create your own analysis either it is fundamental or technical analysis.

There are too many altcoins that have potential in a short-term investment, is some reason, I must go in trending coin not made by the pump and dump but has a real use by the community.  For example, a coin of a well-known trading exchange.
2280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: RBF vs CPFP on: May 03, 2021, 04:43:16 PM
AFAIK, Electrum and Blockstream Green Bitcoin wallet support both coin control, RBF and CPFP.

Newbies don't have to know the technical stuff behind RBF or CPFP, or anything to that extent. They just need to know how to remedy something like this, which the links in the first reply has covered together with pictorial illustrations.
I tend to agree when there is a stuck transaction from a newbie and we suggest this RBF and CPFP might don't know the proper procedure.  However, there's an alternative when there's a stuck transaction, you can also use accelerator service and I highly suggest using ViaBTC as the best service to accelerate your stuck Bitcoin transaction.

Anyway, for those who didn't know how to use RBF and CPFP, this thread is very helpful.  BTW, can you also include the relevance between RBF and CPFP?
