Could it conceivably take FOREVER for a zero fee transaction to process?!? I have a couple of small transaction from 8 July that have STILL failed to post to the blockchain. I'm not sure what gives with those ... but suspect they were sent during the SPAM attack and got linked with the spam transmissions?
Btw, I didn't send these transaction, I am the recipient.
zero confirmation just means that no miner has included that transaction in a block yet. miners includes transactions in blocks because the fees goes to them. so when you don't pay the fees, you gotta wait for some rare miners that will eventually include your transaction on their block. that's just the simple explanation. check this and this for the more technical explanations.

Yup i think so that china is number 1 bitcoin volume and there are more than 80% of bitcoin transactions take place in Chinese yuan
I don't think so. http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/volumepie/ <-- see that. USD still dominates all. of course it doesn't mean that the Americans are solely responsible for that. I'm sure at least 15% of those are from users around the world that can't use their national currency to buy bitcoin.

what am I supposed to see there that suggests "China is number 1 bitcoin volume"?

yes. it doesn't happen very frequent, but the price can change drastically overnight. for example a week ago the price rised from $280+ to $310 in less than 24 hours. tho it went back again (slower this time) to $280. use http://preev.com if you want to see the average BTC-USD rate you can also see this simple chart to see the price history.

Time to Bitcoin for a new user, without over paying for them.
what? I don't understant what you are talking about.. can you elaborate?
|
|
|
What do you think?
I'm not sure.. haven't think that far yet. because it still seems impossible. but it would be great if a government openly support bitcoin and encourage their citizen to use it.... wait a sec, that's also very unlikely if they have their own currency. AAAAARRRRGHH

95%, if true, also means that he only reported obvious stuff, like +1 posts, people that don't read the thread, or that can't speak english, bots, etc. I think a mod is supposed to catch the things that people normally would not catch.
And any staff member can ban newbies, accuracy on reports don't say anything about how a user would handle the banhammer
or, he is really good on spotting bad posts that people normally wouldn't catch. also I think only global mods can ban newbies. patrollers can delete any post by newbies even if they're outside their moderated boards. normal mods can't do jack outside of their moderated boards. EDIT: I was wrong, all of them can nuke newbies.

Loan Amount : 0.04 Reason : Need to renew hosting quickly BTC Address : 188WfeDNrdovFYbpxUbSJfVjCa3SQbpQKK Term Length : 3 days
Do you have any collateral? Sorry I don't then you probably won't get that loan. 0.04 BTC is a little too much for a no collateral loan when you're still Jr. Member.

Every new coin is not good opportunity I done this mistake and pay heavy price before investment we need to check some stats about them
well, lorylore did mention that it does have some high risk but I agree with you. a lot of people would be rich if we can get ++ profits just by buying every new altcoins out there. btw I think monero have a potential.

Netherlands is your best bet on the 5th spot if those are the criteria. There are many places in there wherein you can spend those bitcoins. It's like "the bitcoin haven" if you'd ask me.
I actually didn't consider Netherlands while searching for that list. just russia, japan, korea, spain, plus the one listed. now that you mention it, looks like there's quite a lot of bitcoin ATMs and shops that accepts bitcoin in there.
|
|
|
How about other European countries such as the Netherlands? There are many bitcoin-related shops and stores there. You could also live in there with some cash and the rest, bitcoins. Netherlands could possibly be in the 5th place.
Wait, what does that ranking mean? Number of users or the development of bitcoin?
both, actually. I felt it would be unfair to judge them just based on the number of users. I mean some countries are just just huge.

You should buy Moneros when you still can. I have that feeling that the price will increase to $0.10 per Monero. Monero to the moon! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) that ain't right. I think you mean $1.10 per monero. hopefully I'll be able to buy more before that happens.

bitcoin is not a religion. but I've seen people creates a new religion just because they think god is behind this or that so I won't be surprised if people started calling bitcoin a religion ten years from now.
