2261  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan, $500 to $3000 or more per individual, 1.25% for 3 months on: December 28, 2011, 02:07:46 AM
$3k per person?  At 1.25%?  If you had a genius stock-trading tip that makes you infinite funds--practically a licence to print money--you wouldn't need a loan but you would be the one offering loans.

TRUST ME.  You don't want to owe people money.  Last year I was in a rough spot, I was holding someone's money and these three cute girls totally duped me and got me robbed and I had to repay money that wasn't even mine in the first place...  And I had to sell my TV and a bunch of other stuff, because some people are serious when it comes to debt.  Take LoupGaroux's advice seriously before asking for money.

If anyone loans this person money I hope they let it be public so we can make a bet on www.betsofbitco.in an we can bet for or against the repayment.

2265  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Will minning bitcoins kill your card? on: December 28, 2011, 12:22:04 AM
IMHO, unless you have FREE or extremely cheap electricity, overvolting or overclocking is pointless because it will cost you so much more on your power bill.  Just pulling numbers out of my ass, think 25% more power for 5% more bitcoin.  Might as well run stock or overclock it to the point that's stock-like.

edit: not only the cost of electricity, but you end up saving a lot of money in cards not dying.
2266  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Turn on the server, it's cold inside. (New York Times) on: December 28, 2011, 12:00:11 AM
I knew this really old weird guy named Neil who had a tiny little house and these MASSIVE handmade insulators on his doors, like the front and back of his doors had sheet metal protruding 6" on either side of all doors, I assume there was some foam or fiberglass inside there as insulation.  He slept on his kitchen floor and had the upstairs to his home sealed off.  I think his windows are insulated too.  He literally heats his house with three 100w bulbs, no joke.  I dunno about the cold winter nights though, but light bulbs do put off a great deal of heat.
2267  Economy / Services / Re: Selling my signature as ad space on: December 27, 2011, 11:55:49 PM
Can I buy a 728 x 90 banner with the message "I sold out this signature for ad space" ? What would the price be?
Lol that would be awesome!  If only we could make new image signatures again.

I nolonger feel that this Pain is of the high priority amungst the bitcoin forums, Perhaps we should point our attention to the person with the burnt house,
Shakaru states that PayPal sided with him, Therefore, The total losses are less
Agreed.  He was not asking for donations, but just stating his current state of events which got slightly better last night which is excellent news.
2270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Accusations against shakaru on: December 27, 2011, 08:51:21 PM
Awesome!  One step closer to back-to-business is getting those Paypal transactions reversed.  I found that Paypal is pretty reasonable, and after I had a dozen people try and scam me, all I had to do is phone up Paypal every morning and tell them my story again (didn't expect selling bitcoin on eBay to be so horrible!) and having proof of sending the coins by making movies of the transaction, Paypal always sided in my favor.  Even if they vote against you in a decision, call them again, they'll re-open the case.  Keep re-opening, you have proof, you're the clear honest person, you'll win.

Had the idea secretly locked away in my brain, no means to produce it...  Hope someone comes out with such a game eventually.
2272  Other / Off-topic / Re: I dont know where else to post on: December 27, 2011, 12:23:04 PM
This is so hard to read!

Mostly for it's grammatically incorrectness and long winded speaking style.

Happy Holidays. Everyone's lives are difficult. Try doing something different instead of begging.
Hardly a call for the grammar police...

OH IDEA!!

create a miner worker on your favorite pool, and let people point some hashing power towards it!!!!  This way they can donate some shares to you!!!!
2274  Other / Off-topic / Re: I dont know where else to post on: December 27, 2011, 12:10:26 PM
This is so hard to read!

I really sincerely hope things get better for you in the new year.  Like seriously bud, you sound like such an honest hardworking person who is hit with a dominoes effect of bad luck.  But you will get through this.  You have capitol and you will be on top again very soon.

We have a large office with a massive electric panel if you wish to send miners this way so they will be mining at least?  Or anything else I can do, I will do, to help you.
2275  Other / Off-topic / Re: My cristmas present: Burnt House on: December 27, 2011, 11:58:44 AM
Awh that is the most horrible thing to ever happen at ANY time of the year, let alone the holiday season.  At least you guys can clean up and rebuild, doesn't look like the house is structurally damaged.

Who do you think would have done this?
2276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of User "Amanda" for Trading on: December 27, 2011, 11:21:03 AM
Whaaa all of a sudden I'm getting name-dropped by Amanda??  I never did any transactions with HIM but HE did sign up for my forum under my recommendation, and he was asking users on my forum to purchase large amounts of bitcoin using Paypal and I privately advised them that Amanda is not someone to be trusted at the moment..  And Amanda is now SCAMMER label on my forum in 3..2..1..

Thanks for the rep, Yankee, you are most awesome.

2278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Accusations against shakaru on: December 27, 2011, 10:22:51 AM
GEEZ.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS CHRISTMAS!

This thread is like one of those print out and leave by the toilet so you can read again and again and share it with others.

This thread goes to show how painful it is to deal with Paypal AND credit cards AND astana... and why bitcoin, being irreversible, is NECESSARY in today's world of astana's.

This thread should get it's name changed to GRAND THREAD ASANTA!!  i mean, astana.  santa?  more like AGRINCHA!

This thread and the feedback it is receiving is ENCOURAGING him to say more lame curse-words to feed the fire, for his own entertainment!

I feel sorry for shakaru for even being involved with this ordeal, and there will always be more scammers in the future so I think this thread should sit here as a warning to those who think that paypal is a good idea.

I MADE THIS PICTURE, hopefully not to entertain astana.

I was almost in tears laughing when I made this:
