2261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitknock is a Scam on: January 24, 2016, 03:29:19 PM
Edit, I did alege that bitknock was a rip off but I was really just trying to add some pressure to see an agreement met that we had discussed previously consider this thread dead and closed.

No it's not closed, you can't even do that properly.

I suppose that threatening to post a scam accusation unless you are given money could be construed as blackmail, irrespective of whether you think you're owed it or not. Of course, if it's true, that's different, isn't it?

Original post from OP (my bold)

Bitknock Mining, this site is a Scam and after being promised an amount of btc to create tutorial videos regarding this company they stopped replying. I have been trying for several days to insist they reply and compensate me as we had agreed.
Obviously this casts shadows on the legitimacy of this company, they claim to be a cloud mining company but it runs on a PONZI system and uses the Multi level Marketing scheme also known as a Pyramid.
I would like all people to stay away from this company as they do not keep good communication and they can obviously not comply with the promises they made.
Mainly the site consists of buying CONTRACTS which basically just secure positions in the pyramid while earning you small comisions depending on how many new members yours have signed up etc. I have fallen prey to other scams before but I am done with these bullshit get rich quick schemes, my own fault I guess but cloud mining seems very adictive like Gaming.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: current fake buy walls, fake volume going on at bittrex are CLUB & GCR........ on: January 24, 2016, 02:08:17 PM
Right, let me come in here and say something.

I have no idea what GCR is and don't exactly care too much.

Anyways, however with Clubcoin I do know about. Basically, it was distributed in full to Bitclub Network members, all 8000+ of them. I am seeing if we can compile a list of all the coins and where they went to for transparency.

Most of the guys involved in Bitclub Network make most whales look like fish and want this coin to be a top 10 currency which to them, is easy (there are guys that got larger Christmas bonuses than most coins on the market). Though the low volume + high price is a bit strange (completely blew all our minds) but that is expected to change as the members choose to move their coins or not. Myself, I had to hand hold MANY of the members into downloading and using the wallet as well as write up guides on using Bittrex and other websites to get them started.

The scenario you are painting seems to be of a 'coin' with a large number of unaware holders who got given it by Bitclub Network and are not entirely sure why, but expect to make some magic money out of holding it.
The superwhales you describe, the like of Joe Frank Abel and other chronic MLM admin/pumpers, you expect in turn to pump the fuck out of this useless coin and make everyone loadsa money (apart from said future bagholders), i.e. the standard pointless altcoin story.

If that's what pushes your buttons then fine, carry on, buy yourself a new Bentley like fat parasite Joe, but dressing up your naked greed motivation for involvement, with buzz words like "community" and "transparent" and implying there is a long term future with "development" and "projects" from autonomous high minded devs, is just fucking nauseating.

Although ClubCoin has and may work in a variety of capacities with the Bitclub Network, ultimately they have different agendas. We are determined to ensure that ClubCoin is a community driven, decentralised and transparent digital currency. Development, projects and the overall direction of ClubCoin will be decided by the community and implemented by a team of developers who act autonomously, without any influence or direction from the Bitclub Network.

2263  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Complaints from victims of Chinese MMMGlobal on: January 24, 2016, 11:29:53 AM
Read the comments in one of the MMM Facebook pages and you will find references to tasks the members have to perform each week to get their full interest payout. I guess those tasks include spamming forums with positive comments about MMM, denying there are any problems, and arguing with anyone who makes any negative comments about MMM. That post by icaruz was probably one of his weekly tasks.

Yeah, and don't forget the obligatory "Letters Of Happiness", if you don't write one then you are in danger of getting dropped out of the loop.
Google it for templates.

It's MMMGlobal (the bitcoin only version) with EXTRA that is more demanding with its socmed tasks which need completing to qualify for the 100% per month.
http://mmmindia.in/news/get_up_to_100_per_month_in_mmm_extra-4437.html

It's basically a Hype Hit Squad, which is mobilized to flood new markets

Quote
In the framework of the program MMM Extra an enormous tasks base and regulating mechanism have been elaborated in order to show certain tasks to the certain participants. At the start, the model will be approved in the Bitcoin Republic, and than will be introduced in all countries. Consequently, when needed to improve the dynamics of an Asiatic country all participants all over the world will work in the tasks connected with the activity in the forums and groups of this country. If it’s necessary to start working in a new country all participants of the MMM Community forward their efforts over there.
2264  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Complaints from victims of Chinese MMMGlobal on: January 23, 2016, 09:27:07 PM
I'm still not sure why anyone should care about such a idiotic scheme?

I missed this. Shocked

Maybe just the fact that it is the largest ongoing scam in the world (excluding the Fiat Conspiracy, tinfoilers) and could have a massive effect on the price and usage of Bitcoin?

Also you should read the rules & guidelines since this thread is in the wrong section.

Move it then.

Is there a threshold of the percentage of return we should treat the "investment" as a Ponze?10% a year or 50% a year?

More important than a specific number is the proof of a legitimate, profitable core business. From that you can extrapolate the sort of profits it would likely make, depending on the industry standard.

Anyone who's anyone knows that banks REALLY pay savers 50-200% interest per month. It's the fucking lizards in the middle who siphon it off and we never get the spoils.

2268  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MMM Global Republic of BTC - Sergei Mavrodi ponzi scheme! Stay away on: January 23, 2016, 06:22:46 PM
Not looking too rosy in MMMland China. After the explosion of interest and investment late last year (that possibly helped increase Bitcoin's value), some currently unverifiable comments

MMMGlobal the biggest scam in the world. At the beginning you can get you money and interest but later all you have will disappear.

The January warning said MMM China is among an emerging number of unlicensed organizations that aim to attract online investors with promises of high returns while employing a business model that looks to be a Ponzi scheme...

"Such operating models present huge investment risks and their capital flows are not sustainable," the warning said. "Once the capital chain breaks, investors will face severe losses."

The dreaded "reset"

Several investors told Caixin the website closed in December, freezing their accounts without warning. A December 25 announcement on the website said investment cycles and interest payments would be calculated differently in the future, and all previous requests for withdrawals had been canceled.
Investors could still not get into their accounts as of January 19.

A google translated headline from TMTPost

"MMM hoax" looted Chinese, ten billion private assets is cleared

Meanwhile, in RSouth Africa, where MMM has both MMMRSA and MMMGlobal, socmed reports that one of South Africa's largest retail banks, Capitec, are making life difficult for large cash GH/PH movements, causing much wailing and anger amongst MMMers.
South Africa has a long history of "stokvels", localized mutual lending clubs, and many people view MMM as just a bigger and better version.
They also have a big hacker/scammer problem because of the unsophistication of the majority of their user base.
Whether this will drive more traffic to the bitcoin denominated MMMGlobal version remains to be seen, or it might signal that the authorities are finally getting their ass in gear.

Altoists (really hate them!)
Altercations

but allow Altruism. Altruism's good.

2273  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitgold - Legit or scam ? on: January 22, 2016, 11:22:33 PM
In the IT world we have this special error for special people. It is the U53R error.
Usually that is the problem, nothing anyone can do about stupid people who then turn around and make crap up about a company. I have seen it in every company I have worked for.

Yeah, and in Bitcoinland we have the same sort of thing, it's called the Shill&Scam error.
Usually that is our problem, we try to do something about scammers who think we are stupid, and we see so much crap that we don't have to make it up. I have seen it in (nearly) every company that I have looked at.

The OP is trying to establish the current view around here about BitGold, especially given what's been brought up previously https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1133534.380
And all we got so far is two bot posts and a BG fan calling complaining users stupid. Way to go.

After some serious research and due diligence, I joined BitGold in November 2015 and have appreciated everything that it has allowed me to do.  I have bought grams of gold, redeemed some to the Gold Money card, invited people via the Golden Heart and affiliate programs, sent gifts of gold, engaged in the community forum, and much more.  It is the real deal.

all I see are brand new sockpuppets shilling for this site. doesn't make it look more legit

+1.
Less legit, if anything. The first one is embarrassing.

Hey BitGold, your social media manager is a moron.

You have one already, why do you need another one? You're not one of those scammer people are you?
2280  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitknock Cloud mining/ multi level referral on: January 22, 2016, 07:14:00 PM
I dont mislead anybody, I make a point of letting people know just how risky this kind of thing can be. Obviously this isn't for you and that is just fine. The whole point of posting here is because thats the whole point of this sub-thread about risky ponzi investments and similar ventures.

You cant blame them, they(we) have to reach their target post for today. Smiley
But we are all adults here, and we are Investors Based games, its already given,  people keeps repeating the word ponzi, well infact its just a plain hyip utilizing the style of charles ponzi.

I don't have any posting target to reach, I'm not signed up to some shitty sig campaign like you are.

Yeah, ponzi, ponzi, ponzi: hyip means jack shit, it was just a term made up by scammers to make their schemes sound respectable.

No, not everyone is as clever, adult and worldly wise as you are, and just knows that everybody lies all the time and that when some says they are cloudmining, what they mean is that they are not cloudmining..

Also, this forum reaches far beyond the kids and thieves that frequent it: threads like these reach high Google rank and help to stop people from being stolen from by organized crime. Is that ok with you?

Stop bashing everybody, there are probably better threads that you would enjoy more and get less agravated.

I'll bash who the fuck I like and post on what thread I like.
If it's ok with you. Or if it isn't.

Bitknock is just another cloud mining site the only diference being that they don't mine

FTFY.

Name one legitimate cloudmining company that can make 220% roi annually. Do you know how to calculate hashrate returns? Do you know what 'difficulty' is? Do you have any clue about cloudmining? Do you have a clue about anything?
