22661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BTER offers $180,000 reward for returning stolen bitcoins! on: February 15, 2015, 03:50:31 PM
no one, no robber will give 1.7 million dollars back for a 180K dollar reward!! that is so stupid
and also i find it extremely suspicious that this muck BTC was "stolen" from "cold wallet"
22662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will An Altcoin Ever Surpass the Value of Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2015, 03:46:55 PM
in my opinion, there is no altcoin that is nearly close to bitcoin. neither in price nor in acceptance and there will be no altcoin that can catch bitcoin at least for a couple of years
22663  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CoinLearn.org : Newbie Learning + Hourly Earning on: February 14, 2015, 03:32:22 PM
Seems like a good idea. But how come I cannot open the website... Is it down?
looks like it is up and running right now:
"Coinlearn.org is UP and reachable.
The website is probably down just for you..."
you can always check websites here for being down or not:

22664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Send Bitcoin With Private Key on: February 14, 2015, 03:29:57 PM
in every one of the wallets so far as i know you can import the private keys to be able to send the coins, if you want something for special needs i am afraid you have to change the open source app yourself.
22665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me understand - Who uses Faucets? , and why? on: February 14, 2015, 03:27:32 PM
Many people on my country have many alt accounts on a faucet, about 20-200 each person. They make a script/macro, then they earn from it massively.
i don't think it is possible, or at least not possible with those numbers (20-200 accounts) because faucets will not pay the same IP in one time period and also i doubt if someone can change IP 200 times!
22666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: February 14, 2015, 03:22:19 PM
looking for free alt coin

and sell on high rate price
Some of that alt coin don't have any exchanger, so bad Sad
most of the altcoins either are available on an exchanger or will be soon, don't forget the sole(?!) purpose of the altcoin which is pump and dump XD
22667  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: February 14, 2015, 03:18:06 PM
i think it can be worth it if you play for fun and do some gambling and have fun. besides the earnings from there can be spent for transaction fees!
22668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to invest on: February 14, 2015, 03:16:22 PM

If you want some free help about how to run your own bitcoin faucet websites and earn profit from the ad revenue streams just contact me on Skype: karl.moneyinpjs

I offer 100% free help to get you going in the right direction.

how much start-up capital to make bitcoin faucet?
I guess 0.3 should be enough for the funds ONLY. The hosting would be cheap depending on which hosting you want to use. Provided that your faucet will become very popular, you will be able to earn the amount invested. If it isn't, then you probably would lose your investment.

hmmm 0.3? does not matter if the result will be more than that in one month Smiley

I only profit from an ad?
well it is the matter of IF you profit, and yes the only income would be from ad(s)
but you can not expect getting advertisement from anywhere until you get good traffic
22669  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Core Total Size? on: February 14, 2015, 03:03:01 PM
What is the total size of BTC core, because its very slow to download
while it is 31 GB right now you have to keep in mind that the blockchain size will grow over time, soon we are looking at 40 GB and more.
if you have a problem with this size like me, you can choose a lightweight wallet like Electrum or multibit
22670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help getting started please! want to start mining generate some income... on: February 14, 2015, 02:59:02 PM
sadly bitcoin mining with CPU/GPU days are over. i think the most profitable option for you is going to be mining altcoins. you can calculate your hashrate and income then decide if it is worth it or not
22671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me understand - Who uses Faucets? , and why? on: February 14, 2015, 02:55:15 PM
i can categories people who use faucets like this:
1) people who just started with bitcoin (like me back then) and what to see what is what and learn a bit.
2) people who can gather a lot of refferals in a way that it would be worth the effort
3) people who don't know how to use a calculator or their time is worthless
22672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Help on: February 14, 2015, 02:49:50 PM
Sup homies,

So I am interested in getting started in the world of BTC mining and I have a couple questions. First, what kind of wallet should I use? Should I use an online wallet like coinbase, or a hard drive wallet like Armory? Second, I was looking at the AntMiners, too me they look like more of a hobby kind of machine rather than some big noisy thing you would need to stick in your garage. I was planning on just buying one and seeing how it went, it doesn't seem like a huge investment to make and if it doesn't work out, meh. If someone could link me to the newest model, or the most efficient model that would be awesome. Finally, with one AntMiner, should I do solo mining or pool mining? I know the difference, solo mining is more high risk, high reward, and pool mining is more consistent money. Also if I was going to do pool mining, what is a good website I won't get scammed on and is always up and running and simple too use.

Thanks,
Dennis
for wallet:
use online wallets for small amounts, and day to day use
use desktop for more security.
use offline desktop wallets or paper wallet for most secure wallet
use something like trezor if you are willing to pay for wallet which can be free!

for mining i found this thread most useful:

and this thread here in the forum:

it will be helpful for you, if you want to try use a vps ( 20-40 GB of hardisk minimum , because the blockchain is "large").
this is exactly why i am using lightweight wallet electrum. because i dont want 30 GB of my precious hard drive go to waste!
22674  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: unverified transaction on: February 14, 2015, 02:43:53 PM
what does it mean when it shows a transaction as unverified?  Do I need to do something?
sometimes you need to let Electrum updates the blockchain headers (downloads them) to see if it is confirmed or not. also when in doubt you can check the tx on an online block explorer like blockchain.info
22675  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Simplest Gambling Game x10 on: February 12, 2015, 07:19:01 PM
0.1 BTC is so huge for something that came out of nowhere with no website, with negative feedback and specially with no past things
22676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darkcoin price is skyrocketing! on: February 12, 2015, 05:22:55 PM
Darkcoin price is on pump.Anyone have any good reason of price increment.See the stats here: http://www.coinfinance.com/currencies/DRK-DarkCoin.

22677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Šogecoin on: February 12, 2015, 05:16:53 PM

I hope dogecoin to the moon

How long will it take after the halving before the price goes up?
i don't think halvening is going to have any major impact on the price since there is crap load of coins in circulation now
22678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 and WHY on: February 12, 2015, 05:15:16 PM
technically no one and every single one of them can be good if you can get in on time and get out in time for profit. but at the same time all of them are shitty and are doomed to fail
22679  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: February 12, 2015, 04:55:15 PM
i got some questions here, when i enroll, i was FM, but i have ranked up, should i change my sig into the one for Sr. Member? but i read the rules that i cant change my signature or payment will be invalid
i think you can change your sig to the provided S.M. sig without worries
the first post statement on not changing your sig. means do not change it to "something else" like other signature campaing's signature till the end of the week
22680  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitin.io » Instant Cryptocoin Exchange! » Accountless » Sig/Pm Campaign ★☆★ on: February 12, 2015, 04:52:14 PM
