If you create your offline wallet with Electrum, you can follow https://electrum.org/tutorials.html#offline-mpk to spend your bitcoin safely. Or, you can import your private key to any hot wallet and spend it.

If you was not connecting to the net when you created it and didn't keep any backup in an online computer, then yes you can consider it a safe offline wallet.

Your private key is still offline (if created properly). This is the intended/ideal way to use an offline wallet/address. You should be able to monitor/confirm that you have received funds to your offline address, however the computer that created the private key should never have "touched" the internet

Bitaddress.org and Electrum are the most secure wallets as you can create them offline.

Armory.
With proper use on a non-networked PC, and using it only to sign transactions it is unhackable unless someone runs away with your PC.

You can download bitaddress.org zip from Github which you can run offline. Click '(zip)' to download the file. Here is the direct link : https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org/archive/v2.9.8.zip. ANd also what if after i set up the keys and deleted everything it was connected to the internet because i let my girl have the computer after i deleted everything.
Backup your private key by writing down(recommended) or print it. As I have said earlier, you can run it offline. -MZ

What about the safest online wallets? As an active trader a hot wallet is a must. Thanks!

Probably any of these Web wallets will do as long as you use 2 Factor Authentication: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-walletJust remember that as long as you keep most of your funds in a centralized service like Coinbase or Circle, you do not own the private keys. Basically, don't keep the majority of your wallet stash online or for a long time. Make sure you use it as it's intended, meaning hot wallet for fast transactions and short term storage.

My practice: 1. Go to https://www.bitaddress.org2. If you use Firefox, Right click with your mouse, Save Page As: Web Page 3. Turn Off your modem 4. Open saved page 5. Click on Paper Wallet and check BIP38 Encrypt checkbox 6. Enter password and remember it 7. Print 8. Restart your PC to delete print cache Most safe offline wallet

I like the "move your mouse around for extra randomness" option!
