22701  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What Do You Want in a Signature Campaign? on: February 10, 2015, 02:10:28 PM
Highest rates
this is good

0.1BTC x 10 bonuses to highest posters
i never count on something that might happen!

Monthly payments
i only join if it is weekly

Payments made to addresses from user BIT-X.com accounts
i only join if it is to my own address not on website!

additionally
i like my signature for having automatic payment, no minimum, no hassle, no lies like (i had family emergency so i couldn't prepare the payment list so 5 days delay) etc etc

also i hear you have to register on bit-x and give personal info, thats not cool
22702  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning: Phishing email on: February 09, 2015, 05:53:01 PM
thanks for sharing this. i always ignore such Emails with titles like this. you have won, you have been credited, Nigerian prince loves you Cheesy
22703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some BTC addresses start with a "3" on: February 09, 2015, 05:50:18 PM
it starts either with 1 or 3 and interesting enough the first example on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address is this one "3J98t1WpEZ73CNmQviecrnyiWrnqRhWNLy" which starts with 3 Cheesy which is associated with the new features
22704  Economy / Speculation / Re: It will drop under 100 on: February 09, 2015, 05:46:44 PM
Some people said it might drop under $200
But, i think under $100 is a bit too much

My guess we might see between $110 - $170
if it falls to 100-110$ it will go further down in price even below 80$ that is where i will be waiting with my money in hand jumping in Cheesy
22705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices Break Downward Trend And Come Back Fighting on: February 09, 2015, 05:41:38 PM
we are going to stay at this level for some time now. and you can only hope for 25$ ups and downs
22706  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Sending/Receiving Fee Question on: February 09, 2015, 05:35:33 PM
So i have blockchain and electrum and will only use these 2 to send/receive btc from gambling sites.  First off, receiving btc is always free right?
yes! the sender pays the fee not the receiver

Quote
For sending btc... i dont have any on blockchain or electrum but when i enter a number of btc in electrum it shows the btc fee as 0.0002 which is around 4 cents usd.  But with blockchain is it the same as in 0.0002 btc?  Im confused b/c i thought sending btc cost 5 or 10 cents... read that a while back.  So does using different way of sending it have different fee?  Such as multibit vs electrum or even hardware wallet?  I know its no big deal but curious on this.
technically the amount of fee suggestion if the settings are the default value should be the same but you can always change it. not in electrum though, electrum doesnt let you send bitcoin with lower fee than suggested
22707  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain vs Electrum on: February 09, 2015, 05:30:47 PM

Also i read ppl say well blockchain isn't that safe b/c its an online wallet and if some hacker hacks bitcoin, u lose your bitcoin. But wouldn't it be many blockchain users though and thus it would be a huge thing? Does anyone think something like this could happen? Im thinking since it still hasn't happened now, i assume it probably won't? How many cases have there been when some big online wallet like blockchain got hacked by hackers and then ppl with bitcoins there all got it taken? I believe there was one called Mov'Gov ... something to that name?

But some ppl here say its safe to keep any amount of btc there b/c if you feel funds in your online sportsbooks account are safe... then blockchain is even safer. I would like know if anyone agrees with that last statement.
you can always check these things youself. just search something like "losing bitcoin on bclockchain.info" "or lost bitcoin on Electrum"
and most importantly when you find results from your search, read WHY they lost their bitcoin
22708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any places to get free bitcoins for signing up? on: February 09, 2015, 08:42:23 AM
you will fill your wallet with dust this way. and at the time of spending them you will have to pay high amounts for fee.
if you like free coins try altcoin giveaways you can get more this way
22709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What a mistake.... on: February 09, 2015, 08:39:37 AM
i think the best option for you is to sell it for the best price that you can find. but if you want, you can take a look at the altcoin section for the coins to mine maybe you can find a good one also take look in coinwarz.com
22710  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Minimum FEE for today? on: February 09, 2015, 08:29:06 AM
I would like to know the minimum transaction fee of Electrum

Thanks in advance!

If your coins have high priority and your transaction qualifies as a free one, you are allowed to set 0 as the transaction fee.
Otherwise, try 0.1 MBTC (0.0001 BTC)
you can change the transaction fee to any amount you want including 0 fee, but the problem is Electrum don't let you send it and it gives you error!
22711  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How do I obtain the individual Public Keys from my Electrum Bitcoin Addresses? on: February 09, 2015, 08:27:00 AM
in the receive tab where all your addresses are, you can right click and from the menu you can choose private key, QR code and other stuff

22713  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Giveaway .22 BTC ($50usd) for posting on forum! on: February 07, 2015, 02:03:00 PM
i think you can attract more users and most importantly users that stay if you pay per post not one giveaway to one person which can be unreal too!

22715  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about exchanger's order book on: February 07, 2015, 01:44:02 PM
@dothebeats @Dread Pirate Roberts
you didn't understand my question.

@others
thanks. when i placed the order the sum was like 3 btc and after 20 hours the whole amount of trades was more than 3 so i thought it is not by age or turn. but i think the reason for it being more that 3 was that it is both buy and sell amount in total.
22716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost double encryption password on blockchain.info, now what? on: February 06, 2015, 06:04:27 PM
do you have any kind of backup? wallet backup, the paper backup of your private keys or something like that
22717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin gambling , investing on: February 06, 2015, 05:05:10 PM

22718  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Desktop Wallet Help on: February 06, 2015, 05:02:25 PM
okay so i click start, type electrum,  i see Electrum -1.9.8-Shortcut, right click then delete?  That is what another user here tells me to do , just right click and delete and thats all.

It says are you sure you want to remove it

electrum- 1.9.8-Shortcut
location: electrum 1.9.8-Shortcut
C:Users/MyName/Download

And thats it?  Thus thats the file?  So when i redownload it using windows installer... i will be getting a new 12 word phrase and everything?

Im confused with your post.  I never sent or receive any btc with it so i assume i dont have to do any backup deleting right

Thank you

a shortcut is not the program, in order to delete/remove the source you have to go the place where it actually is
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_shortcut

you can use the standalone too, no need to get windows installet if standalone works for you. and if you havent used the addresses in the wallet you can safely create another one and there is no need for remembering the old seed
22719  Other / Beginners & Help / Question about exchanger's order book on: February 06, 2015, 04:56:20 PM
when i place a buy or sell order will i go in a Queue and have a turn for example the 10001st person
or
is it luck or any kind of other formula's involved

cause i feel like a bigger amount of trade happened and mine didn't go through yet!

for instance

if i place a sell order at 65 now does it mean that 5.1365 BTC should be bought in order for it to be my turn?
22720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Setup A bitcoin ACCT# on: February 06, 2015, 02:44:39 PM
Hey !  there...

I am a Newbie to the Bitcoin  payment method.

How do I get started to create an account with "Real" $$  to convert it to Bitcoin...Thks
the best way if you are in US is buying bitcoin from coinbase, for other places you have to search for local places, also take a look at localbitcoins. and for wallet check https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
