okay so i click start, type electrum, i see Electrum -1.9.8-Shortcut, right click then delete? That is what another user here tells me to do , just right click and delete and thats all.
It says are you sure you want to remove it
electrum- 1.9.8-Shortcut location: electrum 1.9.8-Shortcut C:Users/MyName/Download
And thats it? Thus thats the file? So when i redownload it using windows installer... i will be getting a new 12 word phrase and everything?
Im confused with your post. I never sent or receive any btc with it so i assume i dont have to do any backup deleting right
Thank you
a shortcut is not the program, in order to delete/remove the source you have to go the place where it actually is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_shortcutyou can use the standalone too, no need to get windows installet if standalone works for you. and if you havent used the addresses in the wallet you can safely create another one and there is no need for remembering the old seed

when i place a buy or sell order will i go in a Queue and have a turn for example the 10001st person or is it luck or any kind of other formula's involved cause i feel like a bigger amount of trade happened and mine didn't go through yet! for instance ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FzKBdZOg.jpg&t=663&c=WejYp1pkYU54dg) if i place a sell order at 65 now does it mean that 5.1365 BTC should be bought in order for it to be my turn?

Hey ! there...
I am a Newbie to the Bitcoin payment method.
How do I get started to create an account with "Real" $$ to convert it to Bitcoin...Thks
the best way if you are in US is buying bitcoin from coinbase, for other places you have to search for local places, also take a look at localbitcoins. and for wallet check https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

the first image itself is telling you what the problem is since you have a lot of input or small transactions received when you are trying to send all those the tx will be large so the large fee. you can either pay the fee or use lower fees as you wish with taking the risks following that

yes using windows but i didn't click on that link for windows standalone installer...
Wouldn't it be fine putting that 12 word phrase on keepass though?
How do i password protect my wallet? Is that why when i open electrum each time, they don't ask for password? Strange b/c i thought it has to ask me for password each time i open client. Is password protect meaning when you open the client, it requires a password? If so... wouldn't almost everyone password protect it then? Makes no sense for someone not to.
Shortcut does work... but i don't like it. Is there a way to erase this electrum and do it again where i download windows standalone installer? I basically want to do it the same way as in the video and thus the correct way.
How do i delete electrum then install it again the right way? The thing is if i delete it, then install it again, i assume i will get a new 12 word phrase and everything when i install it again? Also... i dont see electrum in my programs or anywhere... only if i type in start electrum i see it but it shows electrum 1.9.8 shortcut.
of you downloaded standalone you only have 1 file and that is the whole thing, so for uninstalling you should delete that. the Windows Installer will install the program and necessary packages on windows and for reinstalling or installing on another pc and restoring your old wallet you just need your "seed"

Also, if I get bitcoins and trade for litecoins how will this keep my trading anonymous considering all the transactions point to my bank account
Don't use your bank account. meet up with an stranger in a dark back alley while wearing a cap and sunglasses, and do the exchange in cash using unmarked bills!

Every person that goes through this is a person that potentially will not be bothered to use BTC again..
I wouldn't say so. BTC is extremely safe if used right. And we don't even know what happened. OP refuses to say how he generated the vanity address or give more information. maybe it is the same story ever about people using blockchain.info in an unsafe way and blaming the online wallet. i mean using TOR, having keyloger, no 2fa ...

i cant login to blockchain.info.. luckily i moved my coins off there long ago, but still used their site to monitor watch-only addresses.
when i try to login it says "Authorization Required. Please check your email." obviously they dont send one.
check your spam and other folders it might have gone there, also check your block list. at end if you really need your wallet at bc.i you can contact them for help

you forgot about the most important part witch is 2 factor authentication. make sure to enable it. also for passwords and reminders you can always write it down on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place
