I get that nuking the thread absent any solid proof might still be seen as drastic, so how about temporarily locking it for, say, 7 days, or until the OP cleans up all the spammy posts? Even if he deletes all the spam from bump bots, the goal is still accomplished: the thread stays on top thanks to the spam. A follow up after reading this: We ask our community to leave a comment and their opinion about ROOMDAO. We ask our community to say something about us That's incentivizing posting, and against the rules. The thread should be nuked. Let me just report it and see what happens.

Hello! We ask our community to leave a comment and their opinion about ROOMDAO. Is it forbiden ?? Why you think its a problem? "People" spamming with hundreds of accounts is not a "community", and it's against the rules. @OP: you should move this thread to Meta, that's where Mods take care of nuking spam threads. Incentivizing posting is against the rules, and it's not a scam (yet).

I guess this is where the conspiracy theories come from, said conspiracies being that theymos and cyrus take control of some accounts in order to sell them or something along the lines. Theymos answered this: No, we never sell accounts. ~ if I wanted to sell highly-ranked accounts, I would just create accounts with Ultra-Legendary status, 1 million merit, +9999 trust, etc. and sell those.

who is Warren Buffet Google gives 27.9 million hits. In short, he's kinda good at investing. And that made him one of the richest man on earth. and why should I trust him? You shouldn't! He's been wrong with his tech-predictions before. He's old, doesn't understand tech, and practices what he preaches: don't invest in things you don't understand. That works for him.

Hmm, i didn't knew you can use + in email names, well technically you can't but you get no error.
Okay, the "+" is a bit annoying, as many services reject it. I've used it for my accounts LoyceBot and LoyceMobile on Bitcointalk though. Note that these special features only work on Gmail.

Yes. t.e.s.t and test are two unique email addresses. So email will not hit another ones inbox like you are thinking. You're wrong: Not knowing this is leet unworthy ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Please make another post ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) To make it even better: test+LoyceVisRight@gmail.com goes to test@gmail.com too.

Today is a big day for blackbytes: now they can be sent to anyone, even if they are not in Byteball yet, no pairing required. This is huge! One question though (and I would test it myself, but don't want to upgrade yet): does the "black text coin" include bytes for the receiving party to be able to move the blackbytes to his wallet? If not, there's no use sending it to someone who doesn't use Byteball yet without adding a "normal" text coin.

I am also inviting LoyceV Thanks ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) But: I'm not willing to send my address to anyone on this forum, so I can't be a winner. Sorry.

That's all your cookies and histories data should be there. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of using Tor?

Does it scare you when you think if your account gets hacked or anything happen and then you wait weeks after weeks or months after months without any result to get your account back? Yes, it does ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I wonder when will the account recovery methods be improved. Probably hiring new staff to do the task should do.
Hilariousandco often responds in those threads already, it seems to me he's capable and has the time to do it, but has no access to restore accounts. A trusted user (like me) could spend some time to review signed messages and restore accounts, reducing workload. I tried that that 2 months ago, but locked the thread after reading this: You'll be wasting your time and theirs. I was doing this when people have fully verified their accounts sufficiently and the number of responses I've had from them both is zero and as far as I'm aware they're all still awaiting their accounts to be restored. I guess he just does not prioritize account recovery. I understand his reasoning, since losing your account is, in most cases, your fault. Now both theymos and cyrus just keep getting the same PMs over and over again. That's a waste of their time too.

That's a horrible email address (all the dots are really annoying). Probably a bot: user@gmail.com is the same as us.e.r@gmail.com or u.ser@gmail.com. By adding dots, they can generate thousands of combinations to register the same inbox.

In my opinion, you deserve to be a merit source. Your merit distribution policy is fair.
Thanks ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

their post history seemed to me to hold ZERO clues ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) If you've read his posts, you'll know he values his privacy. So obviously, you won't find any hints. He's always had a difficult time to connect through Tor, and Cloudflare with captcha makes that worse: For the past few days, I have been unable to even get a CAPTCHA without changing Tor circuits. ~ Does the NSA like to see Tor users rapidly rebuild circuits to the same endpoint? Then again, he's also hinted the NSA may be able to hack him: As for getting doxed, I dare Quickseller and his schizoid Sybil army to try. That’s not empty bravado: I say about that the same as I do about hacking. The NSA could probably do it to me; Internet troll canaille can’t. Then again, from his own statement, it's more likely the NSA did it. Which means he's in some secret black site prison now, obviously without internet. Disclaimer: This is entirely based on speculation. @NSA: I didn't hack your stuff. Leave me alone!Or he just got busy IRL, creating that many high quality posts takes a lot of time.

Hello! Can I suggest to remove the sources part? We know them, by we i mean established members. No need for random spammers to know them...
Agreed. If theymos wanted to publish a list, he could easily do that by himself. PM-begging a merit source is a good way to get red trust though for the spammers ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Maybe the OP could include the number of unique accounts merit was sent to? I've included this in my weekly updates (link in my previous post).

So, once again:
- Why did you claim to have not received the 16 BTC, when clearly you did? - What verification have you received to agree to change the receiving address for $100k worth of BTC? - Do you really believe bitcoin signed messages can be easily faked? If so, can you give us an example, eg sign a message from an address I give you? I was pointing at changing the story (haven't received bitcoins- received bitcoins). Isn't this just the typical scammer making up random lies hoping a few more people will believe him and fall victim to his scam too?

If you're using width and height tags, make sure you get them right. This fixes your image: [img width=717 height=780 alt=image loading... ]https://i.imgur.com/Eo29eAw.jpg[/img] Example: Hoping to see a quick action from DT members to those account. Looking for more.
Some will probably tag them, but I don't tag accounts for Merit abuse.

| User name | Sent merits | Received merits | Generousity | 1) | QuestionAuthority | 2255 (in 179 txns) | 307 (in 96 txns) | 2101 (max 2105) |
You're using old data, you can find the latest data here. For instance sent: 2. 2364 Merit sent by QuestionAuthority (#72795) to 165 unique users in 185 transactions And received: 33. 307 Merit received by QuestionAuthority (#72795) from 84 unique users in 96 transactions I think LoyceV and Ognasty should have more source merits to distribute. I guess LoyceV is in the test phase and doesn't have that much sMerits yet. if he/she keeps at meriting more random members it would be great.
I've recently decided to merit more posts, not to lower my standards of "quality", but just because "good posts" deserve merit too. Any "good post" is far above the average spam for which the Merit system was introduced, and I don't think people with "good posts" should be restricted in leveling up. Most of the time, I leave just 1 Merit though. I haven't really decided on when to increase it. Is there anyone who would like to let me know, how to mine this kind of data. ~ I can help in generating valuable insights using the data. Check this thread, you'll find my collection of raw data. I don't think it's desirable if many people start scraping the same data from the forum.
