Pujara was unlucky and for Axar I would say he was shaky from the beginning. Next up is Ashwin and he can bat and stay too. I sensed that the Indian batters were too agressive today considering Sheyas Iyers batting style and Panth too. Iyer was lucky in multiple occasions but not Panth. I think with three spinners India wants to dominate the weak Bangladesh batters. They only want a defendable target which as per me is anything above 300. What do you think?

Iyer and Pujara are going strong so yes it is possible for India to go beyond 300 with ease already they have score 220+ runs and have built a partnership of more than 100 runs. Bangladesh bowlers started well but at the moment they look helpless against both Pujara and Iyer.

The cordination between Messi and Alvarez was simply incredible. Croatian defence got destroyed completely because of these two. I would say that the Goal keeper did some unbelievable stop but was let down on all three occasions by the defenders. Eagerly waiting for the next semifinal that is scheduled for today. France are a better team but Morocco has the ability to stop them from entering the finals.

India VS Bangladesh

Poor start by the Indian team. India won the toss and selected to bat first thinking the pitch will help them but that decision has been proven wrong now. Both the opening pair were not able to give a good start and naturally King Kohli succumbed to the pressure by just scoring 1 run. If The openers had given a good start then I am sure Kholi would have hit another century. His poor performance continues and I am also not expecting anything from him in the second innings too.

Pujara & Panth should concentrate on building a partnership rather going after the ball. Test cricket is all about partnership and skills for a batter. Bangladesh would be really hoping to destroy India's batting on day one or restrict them to 250 score. I hope they fail in their objective.

What happened to Croatia's defence? The defenders were running without any clue. Ofcourse the goal keeper did his best otherwise it would have been 5-0. Croatia made it so simple for Argentina to enter the final.

Messi magic can change the game so fast. The last goal and timely pass by Messi to Alvarez was astounding. Not to forget the second goal all controlled and capatalized by Alvarez was great to watch. What a win for Argentina!

Why did BABAR AZAM got mercilessly booed by Pakistani fans with ZIMBABER?

I was not aware of this trolling by Pakistani fans. Found out about it on YouTube while surfing randomly. The YouTube algorithm just randomly showed me how Pakistani fans shouted ZIMBABER on the ground in the second test match as Baber Azam got out cheaply. What suprised me was that such kind of trolling are done by Indian when Pakistan plays overseas. What suprised me was that it happened on their homeground.

I do not support such kind of incident as it is a game and many times batters are not in form but Babar Azam hasn't performed well with big teams and for past few years, he has lost his form as for me. This is kind of weird as he was said to be the Pakistani Kholi and to some extent better than him by Pakistani media. At the moment both of them should be better off sitting in their home than playing cricket.  

Now coming to the point. If anyone can share the stats to support that he got most of his test match records playing against big teams then I would give that individual some merits.

Those teams who had higher probability are the one that are out of this world cup and most of these teams were defeated by the underdogs. It is very hard now to predict which two teams will enter the finals. Every team has its own pros and cons but Croatia and Morocco certainly have a solid defence and that can be a big problem for both France and Argentina.

Regardless of test matches do you think they were prepared of the T20WC? I doubt it as they get so many winning oppertunity but the Pakistani tram will always make it difficult for them to win a match. Just review all the past cricket matches regardless of the format and you will find that they take most of thier game for granted or believe that the almighty will win the match for them. Do you think such an attitude will help them in the future? I doubt!

PCB is too much into international politics whereas the ground reality is that they nither have the muscles nor they have talent to prove they can be seriously taken. Most of the time they are like an empty vessel which only sounds but doesn't have anything to prove its existence.

Every team that has qualified for the semifinals should not be underestimated. As seen throughout the world cup the least expected teams have gone beyond their normal abilities to win matches where they were least expected. I still feel that the finals would be played between Croatia and Morocco. Both teams have good defence and goalkeepers. They have also proven the ability to organise a sudden counter attack which most of the times have resulted in a goal.

Pakistan team has become a Joke!

The ability to lose an easy win cricket match can only be displayed by this team. Of course there have been instances when they have won a match which every cricket fan knew they would lose. Such inconsistency has hampered Pakistan cricket performance for a few years now. PCB is busy constantly fighting with other boards or ICC. It is better they concentrate more on finding talents and nurturing them.

Getting defeated so easily on your home ground is the one big humiliation and I think Pakistan doesn't get bothered with such humiliation otherwise they would have not repeated the same mistake.

I have now become a big fan of Ben stokes captaincy. Not only he is one hell of an all rounder but he has proven that he can be a hell of a test team captain.

You said it and they did it. It is hard to expect anything from Pakistan. They were looking good and I was hoping that this partnership would help them win the match but an impressive catch by Joe Root destroyed all hopes. They only need 157 runs to win but knowing Pakistan they might do something unexpected. This is the reason why they are known as an unpredictable team. This is an easy win but they will ensure that it becomes complicated for them.

Things are quite not easy for Pakistan at the moment. The target is not that big considering the number of days left in this test match but they have lost already 3 wickets and as of now they seem to be struggling against the English pace attack. Pakistan needs a big partnership if they want to win and the best part here is that Ben stokes knows that and whenever he sees a partnership building he introduces a pace bowlers into the attack. Cunning captaincy by Ben I must say that.

Too many upsets in this world cup. The under dogs rose to fame and those teams who were expected to reach the semifinals have perished. Absolutely mind blowing game of football has been witnessed by every football fan.

Portugal getting defeated by Morocco was for me the biggest upset. Astounding goal keeping by the Moroccon goal keeper. England came back in the second half with an equaliser but when they missed the penalty the fate of English side was known.

He was able to get a ton because he had ample amount of time to work on his timing and understand the pitch. Furthermore the pressure of scoring was already absorbed by Ishan Kishan. Scoring a ton when team needs is was his forte which he forgot after 2019. If Liton Das had taken the simple catch of Kohli he would scored the same amount of runs which he has been scoring for sometime now. Another batter that has lost his form and has been struggling is KL Rahul. I am sure BCCI new selection team is carefully watching this series.

Ishan Kishan was no where seen as an ODI guy but today he proved everyone wrong. Now India has two openers that are fighting for a single position. The first one is Shubman Gill and after today's historic performance Ishan Kishan also joins the race.

India VS Bangladesh

The last ODI of this bilateral series will be played today. India has already lost the series and would try to save themselves from more humiliation by winning the last game. The complete Indian batting order is in shambles and those senior players have failed to perform. I am expecting some of them might get tested in the last match and new players would be given an opportunity.

Bangladesh has been completely dominating this series and especially the lower middle order has been able to win the last two match for them with an ease. Their bowlers have shown more maturity then their Indian counterpart. They would try their level best to win the last match too.

Do not follow that blindly as this world cup is full of big upsets. I was so confident that Brazil would go through to the semifinal but after yesterday I am not believing on any of the odds. Croatia won because of their goalkeeper otherwise it would have been Brazil in the semis.  More such shocks and upsets to come in the last two quarterfinals and in the semifinals.

Brazil will win that is for sure. This is another match for them in the world cup but their have been instances in the past world cups where Brazil being the best team lost a crucial match. The way croatia have played most of their games I think today's match won't be easy for Brazil. We will know the answer in some hours. Let's hope for the best.

My initial thoughts were England had a bat start and we're not able to give a big target to Pakistan. After seeing Pakistani batter struggling to score single runs I think the English batters did a good job. Pakistan has already lost two wickets and the good part here is that Babar Azam is still playing and hopefully he will score his half century. I still feel before the days ends England bowlers will be able to get another wicket which might not help Pakistan tomorrow.

I knew AI's are being used for many things but I was not aware that they can be also used to predict the outcome of any games or results. It is intresting where technology is going and if these kind of Artificial intelligence starts getting correct outcomes then betting would become redundant. I still believe it is hard to beat the human intelligence when critical decision need to be taken and taking critical decision is a part of betting as well as gambling.
