With 281 runs lead and 5 wickets in the bank, England is clearly in a good position. 100 more runs on the scoreboard and they are the favorites to win this match convincingly.

I used to think that Joe Root was the most clueless Test captain in recent times but Babar Azam took him over by a margin and topped the list with his field and bowling changes. He's lucky Abrar is there to take care of one end, if not then the situation could've been a lot worse for the Pak team.   

The situation is already much worse for Pakistan and I do not see how we can save the match. (the game can't be saved tough as there is plenty of time left in this test).
England now has the lead of 281 runs and with five wickets remaining they could quickly pile up 100 more runs. Seeing the Pakistani batting in this test and in the last test, even 300 runs target should be enough for England to seal the match and the series.

Pakistan team no clue what is going on, i think they are not ready to even play at this time of the year and need to celebrate Year End Holidays

Australia - West Indies

Australia vs West Indies series is a completely one-sided series. We are only seeing the dominance of Australia. West Indies are performing very badly both in batting and bowling. Although I did not think that West Indies would win before the series, my guess was that West Indies would be able to fight back. But like the first match, the performance of the West Indies players in the second match was very poor.

West Indies are batting at the target of 497 runs given by Australia. And so far they have managed to collect only 42 runs. and lost four wickets. Today is just the fourth day of play. So West Indies is definitely going to be defeated.

Defiantly nothing much left in this test to discuss. I just noticed that Tagenarine Chanderpaul is son of great WI batsmen Shivnarine Chanderpaul. He is playing his second test, scored 96 in his first test. Can he be like his father? Shivnarine Chanderpaul played in times when WI team was strong but at the moment WI is struggling to find any good player especially in test format.

Pakistan will not be able to do better in this test. They have failed miserably in every opportunity they have had. On the other hand, in the 2nd innings, England is batting quite reliably and they are also leading towards runs. At this moment England managed to score 256 runs in the 2nd innings losing 6 wickets. But the match has just started, hopefully they will be able to collect a good score at the end of the day.

Australia - West Indies

Australia vs West Indies series is a completely one-sided series. We are only seeing the dominance of Australia. West Indies are performing very badly both in batting and bowling. Although I did not think that West Indies would win before the series, my guess was that West Indies would be able to fight back. But like the first match, the performance of the West Indies players in the second match was very poor.

West Indies are batting at the target of 497 runs given by Australia. And so far they have managed to collect only 42 runs. and lost four wickets. Today is just the fourth day of play. So West Indies is definitely going to be defeated.

In the end, West Indies managed just 77 runs while losing all their wickets. Australia won by 419 runs and took the series 2-0. In terms of runs, this was Australia's biggest victory over the West Indies. It's an embarrassment. There hasn't been a series won by WI in recent years. There is an increasing sense of direness as West Indies cricket begins to plunge deeper into an abyss. It is hard to expect anything more from a team that is mentally prepared to lose even before the game begins.

I like the fact that Rizwan came to open, although it's because Imam is injured. Rizwan could play his role at the top, having said that we need classic Babar's knock here, doesn't matter if they win or lose. Babar should get a ton.

Rizwan had no response to that particular peach of Anderson. Jimmy at best and it came out nowhere tbh.

Babar was a bit unlucky imo, guess that delivery piched on crack and got him. I believe the match is done for Pakistan and their hope of WTC is now dim.

355 runs is not a big target. As today is only the third day, there is no chance of this match being a draw. We see a good performance from Pakistan's top order today as well. Experienced Babar Azam flopped in today's innings as well. He returned to the dressing room after collecting only 1 run. Pakistan scored 136 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Pakistan need 219 more runs to win. Now Imam Ul Haque and Saud Shakeel are batting. These two Pakistan batsmen are very experienced for the Test format. If Pakistan fails to collect big from this pair then I don't think there is any chance for Pakistan to win.

Imam Ul Haq and Shakeel are now standing for Pakistan and Pakistan have made 174 runs with three wickets down. At one time we thought it will be impossible for Pakistan to chase this score and now all of a sudden the match is on balance. Any team can win from here. Another 50 runs partnership and you will find Pakistan in a comfortable situation. One or two more wickets down for Pakistan and they will again be in trouble.

One thing i must say is that you can never undermine Pakistan, they always do something unpredictable. Hard for those who are betting on the match.

Imam Ul Haque and Saud Shakeel's responsible batting is slowly leading Pakistan toward victory. These two batsmen have already managed to make a partnership of 102 runs. And Pakistan's collection is 185 runs. Pakistan needs only 170 runs to win. Scoring 170 runs in test format are not difficult. But there is no way to say for sure that Pakistan will win. Because I think if England can take the wickets of Shakeel and Imam Ul Haque, then the rest of Pakistan's batsmen will quickly return to the dressing room. Apart from these two batsmen, I don't see any other responsible batsmen in the Pakistan squad who can contribute to the team's victory.

Getting into the technicals, wicket of Imam-ul-Haq can be a turning point of this match and the match may end up in England's favor.  Pakistan would have been more confident going back today with 198 for 3 but now losing this wicket of a set batsmen Imam-ul-Haq may shake their confidence.

England will be bowling to a new batsman Faheem Ashraf and the 2nd new ball will also be due in a few overs, making it a difficult task for Pakistan's remaining batsmen. Although they have fought hard to get in the match but will they be able to complete the job, this is a big question that needs to be seen tomorrow.

I agree with you. Imam Ul Haque's wicket is going to be the turning point of this match. And the outcome of this match will depend on the performance of tomorrow's first session. If the Pakistani batsmen are able to stay at the crease in the first session tomorrow, they will win this match. Pakistan needs only 157 runs to win. Saud Shakeel is still unbeaten with 54 runs.
But the first session tomorrow looks set to be dominated by England's bowlers. We saw in the first match that the Pakistani batsmen could not stay at the crease for long after breaking the pair of Rizwan and Shakeel. Looks like Pakistan will start losing wickets in the first session tomorrow. And will be defeated by 80/90 runs.

Enjoying these series is just a waste of time. It was a completely one-sided series. West Indies should have organized the Test series against Bangladesh. They should not play Tests against big teams like Australia or England. I would have been happy if West Indies had organized a 5-match T20 series against Australia. Because West Indies are still strong enough in T20 series and they can win against Australia too. ICC should not organize such one-sided series. As a result, the general audience will lose interest in cricket.

You said it and they did it. It is hard to expect anything from Pakistan. They were looking good and I was hoping that this partnership would help them win the match but an impressive catch by Joe Root destroyed all hopes. They only need 157 runs to win but knowing Pakistan they might do something unexpected. This is the reason why they are known as an unpredictable team. This is an easy win but they will ensure that it becomes complicated for them.

Enjoying these series is just a waste of time. It was a completely one-sided series. West Indies should have organized the Test series against Bangladesh. They should not play Tests against big teams like Australia or England. I would have been happy if West Indies had organized a 5-match T20 series against Australia. Because West Indies are still strong enough in T20 series and they can win against Australia too. ICC should not organize such one-sided series. As a result, the general audience will lose interest in cricket.

Agreed about this all with you because I also feel series like this is waste of time, money and energy specially if you are not going to have any positive impact in long run as well West Indies is completely crap side in test format, and they can't do things for positive change because they are now having the worst things around them with no hope of better future just ODI and t20 can give them better results and better way of stay into this game of cricket.

All team bowled out on 77 with match ended with the heaviest defeat and no batsman able to cross highest run by Chanderpaul in second inning what a batting by the former kings of cricket here in Adelaide most of the time stadium was empty as peoples are also feeling nothing entertaining going to happen which is also really poor hopefully ICC and WICB will do things for the improvement of their quality in near future.
