What is the number of the coin? Nice to see the back but the number is on the front. Smiley

So what exact price are you selling at? Looks like via PM you ask for more?

Yeah, interested in the coin # as well.  The photo in the OP shows coin #1.   Shocked

Guys I'm dropping out of this. So spot 5 is now available.

Cheers.

It's been months....
I'm pretty sure this is a no go anyways...... Sad

Just my 2 satoshi... thanks

For sure, anyone have a Russian Roulette coin they'd be willing to trade/part with?   Smiley

2286  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen Output Address File Reader/Searcher/Aggregator Script on: September 13, 2016, 06:46:54 PM
I could use it in a vanity address scraper as a part script, I guess. I will be able to test it on Linux soon since I am working on setting up a new Linux based web server. But as far as I remember, there is Bash for Windows too, just not by default. You can download it from the internet.

Very nice and I wasn't aware of that.  Is it only for Windows 10?
2287  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: For sale "Machine" on: September 13, 2016, 06:12:59 PM

So you are basically saying that this is the machine that Satoshi used to mine bitcoins? or what?

Yessir, it sounds like he's saying that Satoshi used a BFL machine.   Cheesy
2288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: September 13, 2016, 06:02:51 PM
It has competition but the competition always seems second rate.  There are a few great competitors but the adoption of those is low compared to bitcoin I believe.
2289  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen Output Address File Reader/Searcher/Aggregator Script on: September 13, 2016, 05:47:48 PM
I do, Thanks.
It will give me a quick way to search for capital combinations in my case insensitive adres results

You're welcome and yes, the searches are case sensitive.  If you add the grep flag "-i" you can perform a case insensitive search but the script is currently setup to be accurate to your search terms case.

Feel free to modify it if you have a need for a change.  Smiley

Can we get another one of these going?

Sure thing.....  Will set up this weekend.

Just let me know which coins and how many!!! Cheesy

thanks

Nice, I may go in for another as well.   Cool
2291  Economy / Goods / Re: Accepting bids for RARE 2014 Monero (XMR) physical coins on: September 13, 2016, 05:22:48 PM
Thanks, I would bid 0.1BTC for one right now.

I have 1 pure silver coin and 1 brass silver plated.

Last time I checked the 2016 physical pure silver coin was 0.278 BTC, so I definately won't sell the 2014 one near or below 0.3 BTC

No problem, hopefully you can get the value you're looking for.

Wish I was around when this went out...
Lovely coin!  Smiley

And looks like they are quite difficult to get now, we have not seen any for sale yet.

Agreed, I'm still waiting to see one pop up on the market.   Smiley

What is the starting bid/increment?
2295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Pixcoin ? on: September 12, 2016, 03:48:58 PM
All I can say is, "gain consensus" if you want a change that large to happen.  Highly doubt anything like this would ever happen but since it's your idea you're tasked with convincing others why it is beneficial to change the name.  Wink
2296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: September 12, 2016, 03:07:24 PM
I have only received small "salt" amounts that looked like advertising spam but I wouldn't mind a larger sum.   Grin
2297  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius nickel, microsoul zombie, etc on: September 12, 2016, 02:09:21 PM
Very nice coin and thanks for the picture, for some reason I thought I didn't have that one but I do have one of those coins.

I'll have to read up on my encyclopedia again as I was definitely confusing that with another coin.  Cheesy
2298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hypothetical question on: September 12, 2016, 02:05:08 PM
It's like, "What would happen to torrents if there were no seeders?".

Yes, they would die out temporarily but unless computing went away altogether they do have the ability to come back.

The ledger is only ~100GB, it's most definitely backed up somewhere but the trust factor is the key point in hypothetical situations like that.
2299  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Various Coins and Badges - Updated 8th Sept on: September 12, 2016, 01:36:42 PM
QR Codes are custom to you. You can send your own BIP38 address to them and it will be made.

All the best
Viz

That is awesome and I can't believe I didn't hear of this before.   Smiley

That is really sketchy and hopefully the cards are real since fakes are always floating around and I've seen the h2testw failures as well.
