I am sorry for my fast reaction, it just never happened to me that a coin got stolen out of an enveope before.
As I can't prove who has stolen the coin I decided to give TMAN a refund, even if I have a bad feeling about the whole deal.
From now on I will only ship them in a jiffy bag, what I did not do before with smaller Casascius coins (0.1 /0.5).

I think that's a good idea going forward.
For reference, only items I ship that are very thin & below $25 in value go into a plain envelope (usually O-rings/free items like smoothie has done). All other items go into bubble mailers for which I have a few sizes on hand. Everything besides the plain envelopes gains tracking, items over $100 are usually always insured, items over ~$200 are insured + registered.
I would also recommend wrapping the item in bubble wrap/padding before putting it in the bubble mailer as I've seen the bubble mailer "bubbles" cause scratching on the air-tite during long journeys to me.
