Yes, that is quite normal nowadays knowing that GGG and Canelo was two of the best boxer in our generations now, so we know the fact that many fans and people are also looking forward for their trilogy. Specifically now that there is a higher chance that it will happen, so often times people will forget that they still have their own respective fights that will be a test for each other if the trilogy will be interesting or not.
The Trilogy was expected to happen in September. GGG will fight next month and Canelo in May. If ever one of them loses on their respective fight, the fans will be able to move on it within 1-2 months. Therefore, after that period, we can expect that there will be another hype for that trilogy until the month of September, the big night in boxing history this year. Win or lose, that trilogy will happen. It's just that on the side of GGG losing against Murata, it seems not to make sense to make a fight against Canelo if he can't beat a much easy opponent as it should be. There is so much excitement between the rematch of GGG and Canelo because GGG was one of Canelo's very few opponents who made Canelo look like a normal boxer. GGG was himself a brilliant boxer who could have won his fight against Canelo had the match been judged by a different set of judges.
According to most boxing analysts, it's only GGG who made Canelo show his very best and push him to the limit. That's why there's a question on whether Canelo really won that 1 draw and 1 win. Looks like the only thing that can be settled properly is thru Knock Out win by either of them. The 1st match is DRAW on which Canelo claimed he won that fight. It leads to a second meetup and Canelo wins in Decision. GGG never contest the result but others see he won that match. This trilogy will now put an end to the debate whether who wins. It's a fight that needs to happen this year. The only way we would stop this conversation is if they will have a trilogy and there will be a knockout. Because if it would still go to the judges scorecards and the fight is close, people would still not stop speculating. Sooner, GGG will hang his gloves, so it's nice to give him one last fight that is really a big fight. However, if he wins, his plans might change in the future. My plus 20.5 for GSW got eaten alive by the Grizzlies. I thought they can recover to the massive points advantage during the second half of the game. Still a pride from a prime fighter, GGG still wants to prove that he deserves it.
They both need to win their upcoming fights and then discuss the possible trilogy once everything is already settled. We might see more
aggressive and yet focus GGG during his fight against Murata, he needs work harder to stay fit and flexible to beat Murata in front of his

We can probably see about Inoue vs Casimero soon after the latter is finish to his fight next month against Butler, and the other possibility is a rematch between Inoue and Donaire since the Japanese boxer have said that he's going back this June. Pelicans, Lakers and Spurs are the ones who are fighting at the 9th and 10th spot. It would be very disappointing for the Lakers if they will be the ones who will be eliminated and will not enter the play-in tournament. I want Lakers though to enter at least the play-in  . I agree that Stake is already well-known, but they still need to attract new customers in order to generate more revenue. So its very important to hurdle their fight first, GGG against Murata in Japan, and then Canelo against the reigning LHW champion on Bivol.
And I agree that Canelo will be the A-side in this fight, maybe 70-30 in favor of him.
As far as I can see, even Canelo and GGG will lose their upcoming fight, the impact and excitement is still there when they faced for a third time. It's a fight that everyone anticipated to happen for a long. To settle everything and it seems it's now likely happening, a third match is necessary to negotiate. Just seems concerned to GGG here how he can deal with the prime Canelo if he will lose to Murata that is not even in his league. About the split, 70-30 split is too much. Canelo is too overrated if that will be the final split. If both of them will be defeated in their respective matches before the trilogy then the excitement and interesting factor will remain and the fight will surely be pursued. However, if GGG will be lost to Murata while Canelo have won his fight against Bivol then I think there's not much to expect for the trilogy as it would clearly state that the trilogy will be in Canelo's favor but if the opposite happened then it would certainly generate so much hype and a trilogy will so much interesting and maybe the split would be even. |

If Ugas can do it again on Spence, it's good. But Spence won't make it happen. Odds just tell us the gap between these two. It's the same odds when Ugas becomes the replacement of Spence to fight Pacquiao.
With the same strategy, I don't think it would work on Spence. Spence is taller and with a longer reach, so in order for Ugas to hurt Spence, he should be aggressive and look for a good counter punch as Spence is very aggressive as hell. Maybe there are lots of doubts regarding Spence health, but we can still not deny that he remains undefeated despite of that. Right, just one factor to look at Spence in the beginning, ring rust plus the eye injury, if this two issues are not there in the fight then he has a good chance to win against Ugas. But if he is bother by both, specially like very conscious in protecting his eye, then maybe Ugas can fine an opening and make it a good fight for Spence. So it's very important for Ugas early to try and keep the fight to Spence and really test if he is worry about this health specially that eye of his. Ring rust is the least of his problems and that issue can be solved by heavy sparring and trainings. However his eye injury still portrays a risk even if he got a successful surgery last August 2021 because a simple bad punch on his eye is really risky and may cost him his career as the doctors have said.
