Just seems concerned to GGG here how he can deal with the prime Canelo if he will lose to Murata that is not even in his league.
About the split, 70-30 split is too much. Canelo is too overrated if that will be the final split.
If Golovkin losses to Murata I don't think a fight with Canelo is interesting anymore, a loss with Murata only means that he is fading out and we don't want Canelo beat him to the pulp which Golovkin fans don't want to see if the fight will push through Golovkin should win against Murata even if Canelo loses his bout against Bivol, Bivol is better than Murata as we all can see.

^^ I think both has pressure to win their fights, so that this mega fight will happen eventually. So if either one of them losses, as you and the other posters have said, the hype will go down a bit.
So its very important to hurdle their fight first, GGG against Murata in Japan, and then Canelo against the reigning LHW champion on Bivol.
And I agree that Canelo will be the A-side in this fight, maybe 70-30 in favor of him.
As far as I can see, even Canelo and GGG will lose their upcoming fight, the impact and excitement is still there when they faced for a third time. It's a fight that everyone anticipated to happen for a long. To settle everything and it seems it's now likely happening, a third match is necessary to negotiate. Just seems concerned to GGG here how he can deal with the prime Canelo if he will lose to Murata that is not even in his league. About the split, 70-30 split is too much. Canelo is too overrated if that will be the final split. I think a 60-40 split will be fair for GGG, in the Saunders fight, that was the split and we all know that GGG still carry a lot of followers. So it's better for GGG to win against Murata and it should be very reassuring so that there will be no doubt that he can still fight Canelo at this point of his career. Otherwise if he loses or just win in a close fight. Many might view that GGG is no longer in his prime and that it will be an easy fight for Canelo with that kind of version of GGG.

GGG was himself a brilliant boxer who could have won his fight against Canelo had the match been judged by a different set of judges. But things have already happened. So a fight to settle everything will have to be made. But that fight is useless and unexciting and perhaps won't be negotiated anymore if GGG loses to Murata.

According to Eddie Hearn the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua is almost a certainty. There were also mention that the Ukranian fans express their support because Usyk will do more for Ukraine in the ring with boxing gloves than fighting a war in Ukraine with a machine gun. I am very skeptical, however, if Usyk has left Ukraine for training, I reckon this might confirm that the fight being on June might be true. Hearn says he’ll be speaking with Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk tonight and this weekend to get the fight finalized and the date + location for the rematch.
“I’m almost certain this fight takes place in June,” said Eddie Hearn to iFL TV about the Joshua vs. Usyk 2 rematch. “I’ve got more calls with Alex Krassyuk tonight and this weekend where we’re starting to finalize the date and the venue, but we got to the point where we said, ‘we need to know."Source https://www.boxingnews24.com/2022/03/eddie-hearn-almost-certain-joshua-vs-usyk-2-in-june/

According to most boxing analysts, it's only GGG who made Canelo show his very best and push him to the limit. That's why there's a question on whether Canelo really won that 1 draw and 1 win. Looks like the only thing that can be settled properly is thru Knock Out win by either of them. The 1st match is DRAW on which Canelo claimed he won that fight. It leads to a second meetup and Canelo wins in Decision. GGG never contest the result but others see he won that match. This trilogy will now put an end to the debate whether who wins. It's a fight that needs to happen this year.

Because if it would still go to the judges scorecards and the fight is close, people would still not stop speculating. Sooner, GGG will hang his gloves, so it's nice to give him one last fight that is really a big fight. However, if he wins, his plans might change in the future.

So, for us to really see the fight, both of them have to win the fight for them to create some hype and ensure a huge amount of money in the trilogy. Let that be the final fight just to give the fans on a long requested trilogy.

We can probably see about Inoue vs Casimero soon after the latter is finish to his fight next month against Butler, and the other possibility is a rematch between Inoue and Donaire since the Japanese boxer have said that he's going back this June. Either way, we'll see some news this coming few weeks or next month.
probably the rematch will not happen IMO since donaire sides seems very quiet after he lost the fight and mostly information around the internet are seems all speculation. But when it comes CASIMERO for sure it will going to happen this year because he really wants to test the monster of japan but as the news says it will gonna happen after Aran Dipaen..

I haven't been hearing anything from Donaire as well and no updates about his future fights. I guess he's taking a break from his unfortunate last fight. However, I also don'y doubt that Casimero would grab every opportunity to face opponents with huge names because he seems too eager to prove himself more on the boxing ring.

But technically speaking, even I want to force myself to believe that Murata can upset GGG, I still can't imagine "HOW". Others are looking at GGG's age as a hindrance but I can't consider that as a disadvantage. Murata on the other hand is now also on post-prime. We just need to wait then. It's just a few weeks waiting.

Well, if that happens then it's quite clear that GGG doesn't stand a chance to defeat the current Canelo as he don't got what it takes anymore. So a trilogy will be nonsense to even bother make it happen. Just like other people and boxing fans, I'm also quite interested to see how will GGG fight this Murata and given his ring IQ and short knowledge about Murata, I think he already figured some way how to defeat the Japanese boxer. For sure everyone is watching him on the day of the fight.

Canelo is just 31 years old so we can take that factor that he's on prime. It's an advantage over a 40-year-old GGG. If Murata will defeat GGG, non-sense to fight now with Canelo if he can't handle the types of Murata, how can he defeat Canelo which is currently powerful at this stage? GGG will be tested by Murata. It can also be considered as his training before facing the stronger Canelo. We all like to see the trilogy. GGG has to pass Murata if he really likes the third fight with Canelo.

His age is not on his side anymore. We will be watching him soon how to defeat Murata. Perhaps we could somehow create an idea based on his performance on whether he is still the old GGG that almost defeated Canelo. If he isn't, then a trilogy might not be the best thing to watch. But given that the issue is not yet resolved, better give GGG a chance even if that gives him another loss.

This Canelo of today would knockout the GGG of today in 7 rounds that everyone might say that it was unfair for the promoters to give GGG to Canelo hehehe. Compare the improvements of each boxer and decide. I reckon it is Canelo who has been challenging himself for his legacy.

Indeed mate, Canelo is currently on his prime and his flames are still burning on its maximum volume. So, GGG here have to figure out some way to pass this test against the 4 years younger Murata who is also a decent fighter and we'll see how would he respond to Murata's movement. But I really do think that GGG will somehow succeed in this fight because he's been calling a trilogy for years now and now that he have it. He couldn't afford to lose in this fight in-order to make that trilogy happen. Although, we can predict that there's some changes on GGG but we will see this April soon about that.

There's no doubt that he is one of the legends now and he will be one of the greatest boxers when he retired. Right now he needs to finish Golovkin if he wanted to surpass the greatness of Julio Cezar Chaves because he already has lots of fans and his popularities are way higher than Cezar's because he is fighting in this era. All he needs to have is a great boxing history with a clean record after he beat GGG if they are given a chance to make the fight happen this year.

Not sure if the following would be opt here but would like to share it. Yah I too have seen the top players (irrespective of any sports) as a coach or a mentor when they turn old. Even the governments give chances to be on the respective sports main board to discuss, support and etc. Their inputs are valued. At times they even start up their own sports foundations where young players are trained and grown up. Players make players. Their sacrifice and dedication must be awarded constantly.
