The ONDA D1800 BTC boards (6 PCI slots) with onboard celeron CPU - now already in production.

Caveat: the first GPU must have video out to work, in my case P106s on the last 5 slots and a cheap EVGA 1050ti on the first GPU.\

Man that's crazy meh. High price.. fewer slots.. :/

yeah I prefer this 8 card board  you supply the cpu and the ram.

the sample was 120 plus 50 to ship plus 8 paypal fee  or 178

if I order 10-15 boards and pay 110 x 10 = 1100 plus 200 to ship   you are at 1300 for 10  tack on paypal fee of 65  1365 for 10  or 136.50 a board

if I sell them for 150 + 20 to ship = 170 in the usa I make 13.50 a board

this board whispers to me at night  water cool me please Grin

I put a water-cooled card on it.

22803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 31, 2017, 01:24:44 PM
Awh damn I thought this was the board with the onboard CPU and RAM already. Sad

Sorry for being MIA - too busy with other work stuff now.

Hope I can escape for a day or two to continue testing the rigs.

The one Phil got requires an ATX PSU to power 3 molex and 3 sata.

You can use a server PSU to compliment higher end cards - probably similar to the 6 x slot ONDA D1800 BTC board.

Phil - did you received the 2nd D1800 board?

I have tested that board with P106s, and work in progress R9-Nanos, R9-390, RX470 and RX480s.

The current board that I am testing has onboard CPU/RAM with all PCI 6-pin power, and 9 x PCI slots, see the following:

waiting on the second d1800
Looks like  we are up to 5 different boards.

I was not able to cut a deal with the seller of the board below.  but cit I will give you his alibaba info.
maybe you can cut a deal for it.

22804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 31, 2017, 01:20:48 PM

this one uses 8 pcie in from your psu

then the 8 pcie on the long side go into your gpus'

the seller I found for it on alibaba did not want to work with me as I told him I do only alibaba messages and would want to use paypal to pay him. he wants 160 for the sample .

Besides the fact he seemed shady. these slots are spaced tight

22805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 31, 2017, 11:44:17 AM
Looks good Phil.  Kind of sucks about the long cards blocking the 24 pin connector.  I also wished it has PCIe power instead of the SATA and molex but I do love the CPU socket option.

My take on all three the six card I fried

This eight card plus four right above

And the eight card with pcie all have a few flaws.

I believe this board may be best if you use 1070s at 100 watt setting

I think the spacing is good. On this board.

Two of these boards with two atx and a sever psu can do twenty four cards

Or just stick with sixteen card.

These boards would also allow for good waterblock setups.

The downside is you need the sata and molex connection.

I am almost certain. I will buy these.

But I need to know how much power I can do.

I do not think these will run eight 1080 tis
Pico PSU for a server PSU includes 1 SATA and 1 Molex. There are PCI-E 6 pin to Molex but how you are going to get 2 more SATA?

you can not use a pico  it will burn.

this gear needs a decent atx  for the  sata+ molex     that power the 8 slots

i have this

Phil - i ordered from parallel miner today. Used your ref link and also slush code. Worked great !

thank you.

and the mobo from china came today  late right before dinner.

it is big  really big   bigly huuuuuuge!

about 20 inches by 10 inches.

I put in a 16gb stick of ram  cause I had on.   Hand why the fuck not.

I need to figure what cpu I have to put in it.
FWIW;  The i3-7100 is a pretty damned good performer, and not overly expensive.   I am able to mine and play games concurrently.   Sadly I havent had a chance to test more than 4 GPU with this CPU and a Z270-A, but it seemed to handle everything pretty damned well.  Since you are doing more GPU and [possibly] miner instances, the extra computing power might be beneficial.

I think citronick may have better insight than I Wink

I had an i5 6400t it will work well  and the 16 gb sodimm stick of crucial ram

first issue is I need to order at least 1x 1070 itx  either the gigabyte or the msi.

the 24 pin connector is blocked with a full length 1070 so I am going to buy a msi 1070 itx.

took a while but I have it working with 1 evga 1070 using simple mining

good, its chipset is H110? can it run with kabylake? Huh
it is a b250

It uses i5 6400 t

It uses i3 7100
It uses i5 7400 t
It uses i7. 7700

So it is Kaby Lake or older sky lake
And ddr4 sodimm I have a 16gb stick
Of course you can do 8 gb or 4 gb stick

@philipma1957 where did you get the number 15,366 from in your post above?  Are your stick miners the Gekko 2pac sticks?

I have four sticks three compacs and a two pac

Mmpool.org
Bravo-mining
Cksolopool

All have bonus if you hit a block.

So I point the sticks at these pools.

At the moment mmpool is not working well with low hash or high rentals.

I am hoping it is fixed.

The molex plugs are labeled POUT1-3. What does POUT mean? Do you need to power all 6 plugs?

they are input along with the sata.

3 sata input and 3 molex input.

I have yet to get the 8 slot to boot but I will play with it more.

my thread has info on all three boards.
So you do need to have all 6 powered?

yeah  I have 1 card running read the link

It will take me 2 days to test board.  I will be busy due to Halloween  shit ton of kids will want their candy.

but  by thurs or fri I will see if this does  8 x 1070's

I just had the larger version arrive today.
I will be giving measurements to spots wood and he may be able to offer medium size  6 gpu and supersize 8 gpu case/racks

Once I get this larger board running I may order 10-15 boards

right off the bat the first card will need to be short to clear the 24 pin plug.
found this out today when testing this big board

22815  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why does Bitmain Antminer refuse to accept USD anymore? Only BCC payments allow? on: October 30, 2017, 07:11:12 PM
Have you tried to wire the USD??

My bank wouldn't do it, on my lash D3 order, I had my bank wire, they confirmed, then I went to Bitmain and they didn't get the money, and then back to the bank and re-requested the wire, this all under the bITMAIN 10day window for $$$ when you order a high demand item,

What I learned is that my bank will NOT let me wire my money to Hong-Kong, sure they will not come out & say it, but they made the process so miserable that I finally just gave up.

Wires ( from USA ) aren't easy anymore, and now there are so many levels of klusterfuck that I can understand why BITMAIN doesn't want to bother, they would like USD, but they have figured out that their USA based clients can't get them money on time.

BTC as you all know they will not take, only BCH, because BITMAIN needs people to PAY USD for BCH to keep the price up and not collapse, thus buying BCH in USA on coinbase ( IRS exchange ) and then sending BITMAIN BCH is just an easier way for them to get paid, you to get screwed by FEES that far exceed the 'bank' if they weren't so fucked up.

BCH is BITMAIN's baby they have every interest to create a market and then on their end keep the fund's in "CLEAN" bitcoin.

BITMAIN doesn't have much of a future the 7nm isn't coming soon and they're tops out the S9 doesn't pay for electricity and by next month niether will l3 or d3 or any asic for that matter pay for electricity

I think their model is clever fork bch, and use their hw sales to create a demand buy side market, by the time hw sales die the bch can be flipped over to BITCOIN or REAL-GOLD.

[ Last I looked it was BCH 'bitcoin cash' they wanted and NOT BCC "bitconnect' is a well known scam-coin, but if BITMAIN owns it then ditto for what I say above, its all about market-making of these chinese shit coins, don't forget that these miners cost ZILCH in china to make. ]

When I tried to buy one, they demanded BCC payment. They did not even say bitcoin cash at all, just " BCC". After I emailed them and asked them what are they talking about by " BCC"(bitcoinnect), they wrote in bitcoin cash but kept the incorrect symbol (BCC).

I realize they originally wanted BCC as the symbol but they would not get it because it already belongs to bitconnect and they lead me into that "scam-coin" like a lamb to the slaughter.

They really have to stop playing these games. They use to say that you have a choice of payment and if you don't want to do a USD wire, then you can do Bitcoin or something else however for force people to use bitcoin cash but write the symbol for bitconnect is a disaster. I was reading on readit that a lot of users were really pissed requiring only bitcoin cash instead of USD.

If anyone ever figures out how to make the same or better ASCI chip, I think people would prefer to deal with another company especially when they play these games.

the bcc/bch coin is listed on bittrex.com it is easy to mine

at one time I could say you are right fuck all coins but btc

but here is reality

22816  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 741 mining please help on: October 30, 2017, 06:43:49 PM
I've just switched to f2pool, waiting for results.  And yes, I saved & apply changes to pool info.

As for the controller, it is being powered by a LG cell phone wall charger and the usb cable the controller came with.

I've let it sit for atleast an hour at a time just to see if the miner would kick into gear, but to no avail.

okay.

shit brick underpowered the rasp pi 3 just enough to let it work but not enough juice for the auc3

above is your best hope  easy fix buy this brick and these cables

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=sr_1_3?

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-6-Pack-PowerLine-Micro-USB/dp/B015XPU7RC/ref=sr_1_6?

may as well buy these in case the five pin cable from the auc dongle is bad
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O9Y80AK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Same. I'll probably have to spend some money before end of year to avoid paying taxes so I'll probably be grabbing a couple of these from you if you stock them and they work well.

May I ask an off-topic question on taxes here? Where can I learn more on how to do that if I dump invest more money into gear before the end of the year? Assuming I don't run a business and file as an individual in US.

Thanks,
SCSI

in order to deduct gear  you need some type of business .  I sell on ebay  and do a small business schedule c.

I can wrap it into that and still do an individual return.
22818  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Kano deletes posts he doesn't like. on: October 30, 2017, 03:20:27 PM

I'm not debating.  I just attempting point out the hypocrisy of the OP.

It is too popular in recent years to accuse someone else of doing the very thing that they are doing.

And besides, Kano was very up front about his criteria for deleting posts.

I think you may have missed the point.  Whether Kano admits that he deletes posts or gives criteria as to why he does it is beside the point.  He is completely within his right to delete posts and to give a smug attitude toward all the people he wants.  BUT, this kind of behavior doesn't come without consequences.  There is no hypocrisy.  The OP of this thread isn't trying to garner "customers" for lack of a better word.  Kano is.  He lost me.  His pool didn't lose me.  He did.  He is skillful in the fact that he put together the pool in the first place, which is admirable.  But, he's rude.  Rudeness has its price.  He has every right to be rude.  He has every right to censor people on his pool's thread on Bitcoin Forum.

People who are the recipients of Kano's petulant tongue lashings and censorship don't have to take it.  They can move on.  You most likely won't hear from most people who do move on.  They just go.

So you see, it doesn't matter how well you defend his actions, it doesn't get me to join his pool again.  Even if I am wrong about taking any kind of offense to his snark or censorship, I can and will take offense, nonetheless.  That's why the "customer is always wrong" approach never works.  Kano can feel free to use it though.  It's his business.

Oh, and yes, I do like Slush Pool.  They charge more, but they don't try to use a lower charge to justify treating me like a peon.  I fly a lot and when I do, I fly first class.  Why would I do that if it costs more?  Because they treat me like a king.

I left kano pool
I did not join slush.
I now mine at :

viabtc.com--  I mine BCC/BCH
f2pool.com--  I mine btc --------------- I will soon be moving to nicehash
nicehash ---- well I sell hash there
zpool -------- I mine various algos.

For me  kano pool has a big issue  fees are pushed to me  via  his payout system
same problem with f2pool

Kano rude so what  I went to school in brooklyn for 12 years I can deal with rude.

here is a mining address I use

https://blockchain.info/address/16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr

if you study it you will see I have spent high fees moving funds out of it.
