2301  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-17] Is Bitcoin Only For Crooks And Cheats? on: November 18, 2015, 01:18:52 PM
It certainly could look that way to the average joe who only reads or sees in the media the negative stories about bitcoin, to the more educated observer it is much more, just a little bit of time is needed and then more people will catch on.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 18, 2015, 01:14:03 PM
Haha, if there was a safe way to gamble where you would lose hardly anything we would not find any online casinos or Vegas or anything because they would not make any profit.

Also we would all be rich and have no need to gamble, I am afraid that the risk is there and will always be there, if you're lucky fantastic and if you are not so lucky just roll again  Smiley
2303  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thinking of starting Bitcoin based Music Store! Ideas needed! on: November 18, 2015, 12:55:08 PM
I think this is a fantastic idea but i fear you will not be able to get anywhere with it due to licensing and so on.
2304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned in TV commercial on: November 18, 2015, 12:05:54 PM
Good stuff, nice to see some good bitcoin media even though it is an advert and not a positive news story, again we see recently negative bitcoin news about funding terrorists, we need some balance and spread some positivity.
2305  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-18] BitHappy "The Bitcoin Browser" facilitates online commerce in digit on: November 18, 2015, 10:44:58 AM
Sounds good, I will give this a go once it gets released and if they can make it mobile friendly or even better create an app for it that will definitely bring more people on board.
2306  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 18, 2015, 09:03:14 AM
I think yes. When the price is up we get more attention from media and society. Think about the time when Bitcoin went to 1000 USD. This attention brings new people to Bitcoin. So in general rising prices are good.
When the price was up to that level I started to look into bitcoin so it did bring me in and probably a few other people.

On a selfish note I would like to price to drop to below $100 so I can grab loads as I missed out at the start but in answer to the question yes the price is important and I don't think we will ever see a stable price, it will always fluctuate quite heavily.
2307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Warning] Using Digital Currencies with Paypal is against the TOS on: November 18, 2015, 08:59:57 AM
Paypal should be moving towards the acceptance of bitcoin and not going through all the hassle of limiting and investigating accounts, it would certainly cause them a lot less hassle and might even bring them new customers.
People will just use other fee charging services so they are the ones missing out.
2308  Economy / Speculation / Re: any chance Bitcoin will rise again to $1000 at Black friday ? on: November 18, 2015, 08:50:23 AM
nah, i don't think so everyone would expect it, it will follow a new pattern this time, 500 would be hard already to achieve in 10 days or so
Why not, we have seen large jumps before within a couple of days for no apparent reason so a jump to $1000 is not impossible, it would be a surprise but not that much of a shock although $500 would be more of a natural increase.

2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 18, 2015, 08:00:27 AM
I suppose one of the main reasons is the illusion of getting rich quick and when you do win you think next time if I put in a little bit more then you will win more.  It is an addiction that is hard to kick for sure.
2312  Economy / Economics / Re: Do i need at least 1 BTC to invest in BTC Jam? on: November 18, 2015, 07:54:29 AM
Good to know not to use the autoinvest option, I was thinking about this last week and whether it would be worth it or not.  Sounds like even when you manually look after your  BTC there is still a high chance of getting scammed?
2313  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Don't invest on bit100x.com - or any relevant site on: November 17, 2015, 11:00:13 PM
Yeah some of these ponzis never take off, they don't even try to seem legit and are quite obvious.  I have been burned a couple of times but how else do you learn.
2314  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Ore-mine.org legit or ponzi? on: November 17, 2015, 10:17:52 PM
I have been on their site for quite a while and tested it with a small amount and yes it will take a long long time to get roi but they seem to be around still so legit or not legit they have not up and left like many other known ponzis.
2315  Economy / Services / Re: [Publishing my poetry book] Reward System with Designs on: November 17, 2015, 10:04:06 PM
I think you will find it difficult to raise the $800 here from donations, you have some design skills so maybe offer them in a separate thread for payment or you can apply for a loan, good luck I used to dabble a bit with poetry it is good for the soul.
2316  Economy / Services / Re: MagicalDice New Campaign {OPEN} on: November 17, 2015, 09:57:44 PM

2317  Economy / Services / Re: Physical BTC ATM cards, free shipping to EU on: November 17, 2015, 09:53:44 PM
Also what fees if any are there for withdrawls and purchases, any monthly fee? or are these simply a one time purchase and then you can use them for as long s you need?
2318  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: A Brand New Endless Rotator!.. on: November 17, 2015, 09:48:49 PM
Nice one, like fuathan mentioned it would be a good idea to review the faucets on something this large as there is nothing more annoying as a user then coming to an empty faucet.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 17, 2015, 05:41:02 PM
It's really not easy, so easy to start borrowing money and then not being able to pay it back or meet the interest.  If you can avoid this and stop gambling before you owe money you are in a good place.

Bitcoin is probably not the best place at this time for you, might be a good idea to put whatever you have in a wallet and forget about it until you are fully on your feet and can deal with it.  Also as others have said some physical routine will greatly help to distract you.  I wish you luck.
2320  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Which captcha provider is better? on: November 17, 2015, 05:30:57 PM
Out of those two I prefer solve media as it is easier to solve when mobile from a users perspective.  The fun capture would probably be best to avoid manipulation.
