2301  Economy / Economics / Re: What happened? on: November 30, 2021, 08:20:22 PM
Hello everybody, first time here.
I wasn't sure where to post this, please feel free to move it if I messed up.

Thing is, I'm yet to start my investment (maybe in the next few days). I've just finished a course by Chris Haroun on the subject.
So I've been keeping an eye on the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance Coin for the past few days. As you all know, all three coins took a dive yesterday. What I just noticed is that all three fell about the same time (around 4 A.M. yesterday), and recovered also about the same time (24 hs. later, about 4 A.M. today).
Did anything happen, that would cause such a synchronized dip and recovery?
Thanks in advance.  Smiley

it can be said that btc is a benchmark for the price of all coins, if bitcoin goes down then other coins follow.
well when the new recovery is very much different, bitcoin recovery can be said to be fast, but for altcoins it is very slow with a recovery ratio of 70:30% of the decline value
so don't think this is a big problem, because this is the current market in crypto
If you've been here on this market then you would really be finding out to be typical things to happen on where Bitcoin is always the trend maker and if

it turns out that Bitcoin is bearish then the entire market would really be having the same trend but not all the times because there are times on where

altcoins does have their own movement or totally opposing on what we are seeing with bitcoin which is normal and could really happen from anytime.
2302  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 30, 2021, 06:38:45 PM
We've seen lots of exhibition fight arrangements which already crosses out with different sports which do really sucks but if this the way on where
people do get entertained then so be it.

I wouldnt be surprised if another exhibition match would be already on the line.

Deron Williams is fighting under a professional match. It's more sense to watch compared to real exhibition matches. It just looks like an exhibition matches because Deron is not a boxer, and so is his opponent.

I don't know why they ended up like that.

Easy money after their glory days on their respective careers.
Well, we know that once things had been set up then there would really be that main aim or priority which is to make money aside on giving out entertainment and this had become the main trend now?

Have the same questions on mind too about on how they end up like that but for sure the most nearest thing that comes into our mind
is about money of course.
2303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 29, 2021, 11:58:35 PM

Buying only Bitcoin or at least 90% Bitcoin.

I do agree that BTC must be your primary target of investment in crypto. IMO 60 to 70% of your capital should go in BTC and rest of capital for strong alts (top 10 alts at CMC) and short term trading. OP point is also valid that when BTC goes down every coin goes down with it. We have to accept that fact, the logic of equity trading don't fit here.
I would rather agree if we put 100% of our investment was on bitcoin and just fully ignore altcoin because they are completely useless without bitcoin.
You will diversify your portfolio if you are not in crypto and stick to bitcoin investment only if you invested in stocks and real estate but don't have profit yet, I would go in bitcoin. Last month, some of my friends diversified there investment from stock to bitcoin because they realized that bitcoin has the potential to gain more profit.

Well, it's sometimes to consider that some altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin and this is found to be a reason why people don't give the 100% investment in Bitcoin alone but they still spare some funds on altcoins. A matter of fact is that we can see huge demand on altcoins which probably it means that more investors are investing in altcoins and diversifying their portfolios.
If we just look for long-term investment, Bitcoin is the best choice but seems it was not the best deal for now. And for me, I use to spread my funds to altcoins as well while leaving 50% on Bitcoin for more profit assurance.
For me, i always find it to be more risky investing in altcoins because they tend to dump more than bitcoin. So when it comes to my portfolio, i intend to put 60% of my funds into bitcoin, 30% for established altcoins, and 10% in stocks. In this way, i won't be totally zero in my profits as i have lot of sources for my income. It's better to diversify your portfolio into multiple investments but always see to it that bitcoin would gain the biggest funds since its the most promising asset we have right now. Although its value will not be seen always on top, but i know in the end it will still settle for a price which is higher than other coins.
Diversifying on particular percentage would definitely depending on someones preference or type because not all would really be looking attractive on what bitcoin had attained or achieved neither in terms of volatility or movement.

When you are planning to go with those x100 or x1000 then you would need to deal with low cap coins and if you do like with that 50% up on a day
then it would be no brainer you would go for altcoins.

Depends on your choice because in the end of the day we do tend to accumulate bitcoin as much as we can.
2304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will a coin cost if the USA abandon the US dollar today and switch to BTC? on: November 29, 2021, 10:42:13 PM
If we take every dollar in existence and make the existing quantity of BTC equal that amount of value, what will a coin cost in the (now-defunct) dollar?

Just wondering what will happen if a large economy switch to Bitcoin
Even on my dreams this wont actually happen and imagine on how would be a mess on the market if USD would be totally out of the scale or picture?

This doesnt only talk about its important but consider on what  are the things do attached with this fiat? Im not really that positive with fiat

but i cant imagine on how the economic will be greatly affected if this what IF condition would happen.
2305  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 29, 2021, 09:38:39 PM
I know Deron Williams is good at making big shots in basketball but I have never heard or read that he involves in a brawl fight just like Rodman, what's the reason for picking him, and what's his qualification, boxing is a high-risk contact sport, there should be a stipulation on how new fighters like Deron can go, I don't expect much on this fight, because this will turn out to be an amateur fight because his opponent also does not have experience in boxing.
His opponent does not have a boxing experience like him, they fight because they have an interest in boxing and probably because of the money too. I think it's still interesting as we have no idea what they will do in the right, yes it could be an amateur fight, but who cares, besides this is just an exhibition fight so we should not expect too much.
Because of money too? Of course they've been doing these dancing on the canvass for the sake of money which its always be the main purpose and
entertainment is only the second.

We've seen lots of exhibition fight arrangements which already crosses out with different sports which do really sucks but if this the way on where
people do get entertained then so be it.

I wouldnt be surprised if another exhibition match would be already on the line.
2306  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto for the development of local farmers...can.....? on: November 29, 2021, 08:37:13 PM
I think that cryptocurrency can help agriculture in the following way: there are a lot of companies connected with agriculture, so they can launch their own tokens that will be kind of their shares. They can create a mechanism of how to encourage people to hold their coins (staking of their tokens or bonuses for holding) so that they get funds due to people's investing in their tokens. Also they can start selling their products for ctypto.

I constantly ask a simple question, to which supporters of the topic "cryptocurrency will save agriculture / medicine / seals / spinach / something or someone else" cannot clearly answer. So the question is - what, in your opinion, prevents you from doing the same, with the help of fiat money, the possibility of issuing shares, or attracting investors by another method? Why is the issue of tokens better, more competitive than the issue of shares of an agricultural producer? Why is a token better than a fiat in a situation where there is a question of buying equipment? Moreover, the legislation of many countries is not yet very on the side of cryptocurrency.
It is actually complicated if you do see out the bigger picture yet fiat would really be enough and wont really be needing on complicating things which i dont see for it to be needing on something like this.

Investors wont really be seeing this as a good or worthy kind of project if it do focuses on an industry which could stay up with fiat transactions if ever they do decided up for some funding.

I actually see the point in regarding on this one or this idea.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: November 29, 2021, 07:26:28 PM
if talking about meme coins, then we can compare doge coins and shiba coins. of course shiba has a very large supply of coins compared to doge. so it is very unlikely that Elonmusk keeps shiba, as far as i know shiba is just hype coins and nothing more.
and I think BTC has become the main asset priority that Elonmusk has. moreover he owns a Tesla company and he also accepts payments via BTC.
Yeah it did stop because of that environmental issues.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/12/elon-musk-says-tesla-will-stop-accepting-bitcoin-for-car-purchases.html

but it did reconsider it again.
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/jul/22/tesla-likely-to-start-accepting-bitcoin-as-payment-again-says-elon-musk

As for Elon asking if he owns SHIB then how we would able to know? He doesnt necessarily tell the public on which coins he had been accumulating and holding.
2308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 26, 2021, 09:10:29 PM
All you hear about these Trading and Investing rules that " Dont put all your eggs in one basket " or " Diversify your portfolio "

But how we Apply these rules in Crypto Market.

When Bitcoin moves 95% alts dumped. BTC moves up or down, Alts goes down. where we invest and no one can predict the market movement.

So what would be the right strategy of Diversifying Crypto Portfolio...
it depends actually if you really know how to identify scam project.  Because indeed mostly scam project nowadays were copy paste in order to get more attention in the internet.  But using research you can actually obtain specific information wherein to identify new or a scam project. That why its always highly recommended to make TA when it comes investing and etc so be aware.
If you could able to identify directly on whats a scam project then good for you but its not really that something on where everybody would able to do so because experienced eyes wouldnt able on having that 100% sure whether a project is scam or not.

Diversifying is always been good if you do really have the chance because you would really be having that possible chance of recovery if one of your investment do fails.

So its up on personal choice and capability of course since not all would really be having the money.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 26, 2021, 08:41:40 PM
@Russlenat - that article might be outdated already, Casimero is no longer with MP promotions.
Therefore MP promotion was not telling the truth because they didn't make the fight possible, under the new promoter of Casimero, the approach could be different and they always have the say on whom they will face Inoue first, and it could be Donaire, maybe.

Also, if we noticed, Casimero does not trash talk anymore, so probably it's because of the new promoter.
We cant really make any conclusions for it to be the main reason on why Casimero isnt trashtalking anymore just due because of new promoter.Well it

could be possible but not really a precise reason for us to to presume that it might be the reason.Of course the organization would always have the

final decision when it comes to fight arrangement and decisions whether which fighter would go first and which one is not.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: November 25, 2021, 11:44:16 PM
Recently, many governments have been showing increasing animosity against Cryptos. While the US is preparing to launch a Blockchain surveillance plan, other countries such as Sweeden are showing signs of moving towards a crypto crackdown by criminalising mining.

Should we be worried about this?
They had been doing this silently and only a few things had just popped out that they a re cracking into something specially on this crypto space.

Is this something surprising? No its not because it would really be just a normal act to be done by government on anything which is out of their scope
that moving out freely which is understandable.

As a cryptoenthusiast should you be worried? I dont think so.
2311  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: November 25, 2021, 10:48:43 PM
I don't think there is a chance that bank will go against government regulation and policies if they still want to operate and get permission to continue their service in this country. This will only harm themselve where bank and government system are both centralized and it is difficult to say that they are on the side of the people, so what you expect will just be in vain.
LOL! Do you really think that it would happen?

Banks are heavily centralized and it would be always that they will really be abiding those laws and regulations had been set out by the government.

If they wont? Then they cant operate and we know these institutions are businesses then that would surely be not an ideal thing which
most likely they would really be following on whats mandated.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 25, 2021, 09:46:18 PM
Quote
GGG   - 19 (100%)
Murata   - 0 (0%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)

The boxing community in this forum still trust Golovkin's power, old but still pack a powerful punch, a boxer is judged on his last fight and we have seen him still good in his last fight, I think the Canelo fight that we all hope for will not happen anymore because Canelo is moving to Cruiserweight, but he still can unite all the belt in his division like what Canelo has done.

Actually, it's not only the trust but GGG is seen as the most popular here compare to Murata. I'm pretty sure that 70%-80% of users in this forum don't know, are not familiar, or heard the name of Murata.

But regardless, GGG is really at the advantage here. Age is not a concern as experience is a must. He should be able to deal with Murata without having a major problem or difficulties.
In terms of popularities worldwide, GGG is the most favorite here.

It's true that more not just from here but also from the outside are not familiar with Murata, aside from his local fans and those
who follow him, the name is not as recognized compared with GGG.

It's nice to see if how GGG will take this fight. If he still has that good stamina, we will see more upcoming fight for him.

His physical capabilities still the concern but again, if that not show any much change from his past fights, more interest for him from both fans and promoters.
No doubt on being highly favorite on this one yet we know on how popular GGG is which is understandable basing off on the statistics that he does have then it cant really denied actually and its true that only few knows about Murata but doesnt mean that he would belittle him
even though its hard to believe that GGG would lose this one but he should take this match seriously and dont be confident.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trade cryptos on etoro? on: November 24, 2021, 11:34:25 PM
I found a simple option for myself for buying and selling cryptocurrency. There are many online exchangers that I can use. I can choose an exchanger for sell bitcoin here https://www.bestchange.com/bitcoin-to-paypal-usd.html
This is an ideal option for those who value time and want to find the most favorable conditions.
Its just an another exchange and not similar to etoro and if I am not wrong etoro is famous for its copy trading feature and they have been in the market for very long time.

I guess the purpose of this there is no more valid so better no one comment further on this!
And its centralized as well and also this had been involved with stocks and indices when it comes to copy trades.
This had been founded (Sep 2006–) and had adopted or included crypto which it isnt surprising.

They had excluded out recently ADA and TRX on US users which it isnt surprising. Anonymous coins? not surprising.
2314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start somewhere on: November 24, 2021, 10:38:47 PM
In my opinion you need to start Big, cause when you are stressed for your  money you think better than ever.
Better to start small.

Don't be too full forced when you've started so that you can still correct your mistakes with your start.

Not everyone that starts are having a good run and it makes someone to be determined when they've figured out a lot from that small beginnings.
Should be because majority of us would really be presuming that it would be that something simple that you would really able to grasp it on on just few tries which you should really mind off to be realistic or even not because once you experienced it for yourself you would really realize those things.

Starting is the hardest thing because you would really get involved in lots of trial and error which it would be leading you on becoming more experienced
and having skills.

If you do go for long term then you would really see this to be beneficial.
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 24, 2021, 09:42:58 PM
Another match for another hype, it seems that everyone is sharing sentiment about watching Jake Paul to have his KO scene in the match made by Tommy Fury.

Going with the crowd is always the best for one to successful in gambling though some time it may not work out that way at some point. Though no one can be optimistic about who will win the fight at the end of the day. Stake to your Tommy(crowds) and let see the outcome at the end of the day.
Well, there's already optimism that you can see on this thread on who's going to be the dictator on this match and who's going to be knocked out.
Individual opening or support here is the forum has no influence what so ever of what the outcome of the fight will be my friend and that has never happened in the history of this kind of fight and it will not happen this time.
Dont know on what they do end up that kind of consideration on where they do really believe that this forum would have some influence in regardless on that fight outcome?

Dont know on what theyve thinking yet everything would really vary on the script that they are following on and knowing exhibition fights is for
pure entertainment then i dont really care on what would be the outcome.
2316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: November 24, 2021, 08:38:52 PM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。
I think if your friend is a long-term investor, then you can continue to buy bitcoin even though the current price has soared and has set record highs many times. However, the ATH level that occurred a few days ago was not the last peak, in the future bitcoin will continue to set new ATH records again. Therefore, before going into an investment, it is better to understand technical analysis before making a decision.
I think long-term investment or short-term investment is better to buy bitcoin when the price is cheap, currently the price of bitcoin is very high because it is slightly below ATH. when the price is high the chances of falling are much greater, although many people say the price of bitcoin will reach $100k by the end of the year but that doesn't promise anything.
Actually, a simple way that will make it easier for someone to know when is the right time to buy bitcoin is when the price has started to move up after the price has left the lowest point in a downtrend. In addition, in long-term or short-term investments, it takes patience and thoroughness to really be able to determine the time. Do not panic easily and must always be calm in every condition.
Then how you do able to recognize that one? What if the price had just increased a bit and then crash or dump down after that mini pump? For sure it would leave out some bad impressions yet you had suggested on that one.

Everything could really be in random and it would be more better if you do suggest out your friend on investing on the amount that he could afford to lose whenever the price situation would may be.

Dont give out assurances just like on what others been saying because that would really just affect your friendship on others.
2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if governments make Bitcoin centralized? on: November 23, 2021, 11:49:40 PM
I'm thinking of any way that the governments can centralized Bitcoin but I can't think of any (or just that I'm not that good at thinking Cheesy).
Anyway, first they didn't create the coin. Second how can they get all those 18,881,100 BTC that are in circulation right now because if you want a currency to become centralized, you must have a full access to it and to start that you must have all or  if not most of the coins.

I don't think that this is ever possible but they can try if they want to. I mean companies are using a huge portion of their money just to mine crypto coins and get profit so the government can do it too.
It’s impossible now, they can make their own coin to centralized in their government but not to modified bitcoin as it already build it’s name and its truly just made for decentralization. Governments main reason of not fully legalizing it in many countries is due to this feature and some were banning it and just implementing their own coin since they see the potential of crypto.

If its possible to be modified then they have done this a long time ago and would able to prevent on what it had attained or reached as of this moment when it comes to recognition and adoption.

They could make all coins that they do like but it would really just the same as fiat which is "centralized" as always as it should be and they wouldnt really be tending to create
things which is out of their control.

This is the main reason on why Bitcoin did really come this far because it cant be something be controlled nor be traced up.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 23, 2021, 10:59:10 PM
Interestingly, Mayweather thought well before giving this interview?  Cheesy It sounds very contradictory - on the one hand, it was a real fight (albeit an exhibition one), but on the other hand, according to his words, if it were a real fight, he would have won in the first round.
As for the clause in the contract, I think there is no such clause, but there is a clause that the payment of participants depends on the duration of the battle, so they are both interested in the fact that the battle would last as long as possible.
Well yeah, we don't know actually what's with their settlement but it has ended already. Usually, there are these statements that go after the fight and it could glorify themselves despite winning or losing. But what's done is done and it's just a comparison to what potentially could happen for this match of Mike. This match still doesn't have an exact date and we're likely to wait until February of next year to have the exact date or maybe by January.

By the way, speaking about the nuances of the contract, I remembered the Povetkin-Klitschko fight. During the fight, it was obvious that Klitschko could have knocked out Povetkin almost from the first rounds of the fight, but he did not do this and brought the fight to the end. After that, many said that the fees of the fighters depended on the duration of the battle. It was a professional fight, and even there such nuances mattered, and in an exhibition fight they will be even more important.
Oh, so there's really like that and that's good to hear, and thank you for sharing. So we might expect from this match to have that the same contract as theirs.
There's that contract for the duration, I've never thought about that and only thought that it's about the ko or not and allowing the boxer to win.
What would you expect? Its not surprising that there would be some contracts to be followed just to make people enjoy the show and wont really be finishing it off right away on round 1 which is understandable but

peoples eyes could able to tell those obvious moves and probabilities for a certain boxer on able to finish it off but due to some conditions then they cant really do that thing which its not surprising at all.

Logan or Mike would win this fight wont really matter or not important at all honestly.
2319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: November 23, 2021, 09:59:21 PM
Yes, not everyone believes in bitcoin if they have never actually seen the people around them who have successfully traded bitcoin. In the world of income sometimes people only believe in real work rather than just monitoring the market. The experience you said has also been experienced by me, but for now everyone believes Cryptocurrency, can provide benefits for its users, but this is inseparable from the risks that will occur.
To see is to believe eh?

A common behavior of a human being which to see is to believe until they had realized that this market could really give out those kind of opportunities specially on making profits but well it might sound easy but it would
be not on the time you had step your foot into this place.

Its a personal choice yet this do involves investment which means you do need to risk out for you to have that chance on making profits but that wont really be a guarantee thats why
you should really be careful.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is safe to buy coins that are only listed on one small exchange? on: November 23, 2021, 08:59:16 PM
I want to start investing in early projects, and I want to ask if you buy coins on small exchanges? Is it safe? And to what extent are such exchanges protected from hacker attacks?

I am interested in such coins as nwc, cdt and mana, what do you think of these projects? Should you buy these coins?

Buying low caps? I presume you do plan on that thing but i would tell you that this is something risky because you wouldnt know on what comes next out of these small exchangers neither they do ran way with those funds by closing or would totally locked out your deposit, its just like that!

Buy on your own risk because low cap coins doesnt really guarantees out profits because not all would really be that assures increase so you should really make use of your common sense.

So its up into your choice but expect of those certain risk.
