2301  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin - Graduation thesis on: November 04, 2017, 01:11:47 PM
Try to look for those Blockchain developers or bitcoin enthusiasts. Get their point of views about bitcoin and the tech behind it, blockchain. You can compare their ideas and give your own points too with it. Did your professor agreed and approved this proposal of yours with bitcoin? I known some people that suggested bitcoin and blockchain to their professors for their final thesis study but they were rejected. You can also have a conference or interview with the people who are living full time with bitcoin.
2302  Economy / Speculation / Re: CME and CBOE to List BTC Futures on: November 04, 2017, 12:51:11 PM
Awareness at it's finest and as well as the appearance of bitcoin is already on the mainstream with the help of them.
My worry is that kind of trading may fully control btc prices and create massive speculation
Expect that it will come but taking the advantage with their help is good for small timers like us. I just don't know with the others here that are bagholding hundreds to thousands of bitcoins.

Good publicity, and bitcoin becoming a mainstream + enormous volatility those trades will add to the market.
Makes a one of hell mixture!

I'll bet that $40k for 1 bit it's a new bottom price from now.

Definitely, it's a good publicity. This is also to remove the bad thoughts of those brainwashed people by Jamie Dimon and other Wallnuts, I mean Wall St. business tycoons and investors.
2303  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply on: November 04, 2017, 12:38:41 PM
Inflation is bitcoin supply is quite high, and will increase for the next years to come.

Bitcoin's supply will decrease yes and I'll agree with what you said about inflation on it. But have you heard about the halving? It's been happening every 4 years with bitcoin and there's no way for it to increase for next years to come. It's supply will never increase but the current bitcoin in the market will be increasing and adding more because of it.

Supply of money is also a matter of velocity, or speed, of money flows. Keep that in mind.

I can't comprehend about the supply of money with velocity and speed as I know it's only for the things that moves but okay let's consider it with the "flow" and "movement" of money in the ecosystem.
2304  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Starting a thread design service - any demand? on: November 04, 2017, 12:12:53 PM
If you do see that those quality isnt too good into your eyes then you would really able to say into yourself that you do have potential to keep up on those old timers and as being suggested just stay low on your rates so that they might able to consider you. Dont worry on the demand since it is always present on here as you can see theres lots of projects do pop out. Just do the basic start up and do the best as you can and you might really get some popularity later on.
I've read all of what he said here and he's quite a perfectionist.
I must say I'm quite the perfectionist,
And also he has the way of thinking that he can do better and I can't blame him on that attitude. He clearly wants a competition on creating more designs.
since I often think I can do better, so that can work against me too ^_^
Well of course there's a respect for the legend designers here on forum and there are plenty of them.
@Wunderkind why not start your own thread already on the services section with your offer even you've got posting image limit? Your design looks impressive.
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "The Real Bitcoin" on: November 04, 2017, 11:51:18 AM
Still we can't decide unless we'll see what will be the impact of Segwit2x after it's hard fork. But there's a big support of majority miners on it. The real bitcoin you are saying shall be called as the "Legacy" bitcoin, I've read somewhere that suggests to call it as "Classic" bitcoin but mostly is calling it as "Core" bitcoin. There's so much call for bitcoin because of these hard forks and there's no way for people will abandon the old bitcoin since we don't much that hassle with regards to bitcoin. Some will get into alt coins but still the majority will win on this and we'll have one coin.
2306  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is happening with Virwox.com on: November 03, 2017, 09:57:04 AM
They are up again and there's no even announcement on their front page about the DDOS attack. I've pulled out some of my funds there before looks like they are no longer safe. For all of you folks, if you have some funds on them better try to change your passwords and email addresses. It's better to safe or be sorry after the DDOS.

They should make an official announcement through all social media mediums, including this forum, explaining what's happening.
They don't want to give their customers fear that some attackers are able to breach their security. Not even in their news section, they don't want others to discover it.
2307  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investing advice on: November 03, 2017, 09:36:42 AM
That 0.01 BTC you have lost on that coinpeak.biz is not that high but I know if you worked hard for that money and you did invest to bitcoin, that's something unacceptable when someone ran with your money. How did you invested with that scam? Did someone used sweet words just for you to invest with him? If someone will try to convince you with this type of investment again don't believe them then. There are no tricks on crypto investment, you must be fully equipped with knowledge and understanding. You have to invest with that using your time.
2308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats for bitcoin reaching new price 7000$ on: November 03, 2017, 09:20:07 AM
Happy birthday to bitcoin and congratulations for reaching a new price point.
Do you think that the birthday of bitcoin is something that also affected the price to increase? Anyway, let's congratulate everyone that still has bitcoin on their wallets.

Is it posible for Bitcoin to reach up to 9,000USD by the end of the year?

There are people that are thinking that it will be reaching $10,000 before the end of the year so why not?

Can someone here give me tips to speculate bitcoin?
Speculate as it is depending on what are the current events.
2309  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which web wallet charges the lesser fees? on: November 03, 2017, 08:31:05 AM
I am trying to find the best wallet to send transactions.

Which web wallet charges the lesser fees?

I think all web wallet has the same fee but you can customize the fee, so you can reduce the fee by yourself but remember your transaction takes more longer to get confirmed. But that's okay, you can use txid accelerator nowdays to get fast confirmed.

Not all web wallets has the option to customize your fee. Block.io (online wallet for bitcoin, dogecoin, litecoin) has a fee of minimum 0.001 BTC for all amounts that you want to send. If you want to use high priority it is 0.002 BTC.
When I discovered this, I changed quickly to blockchain.info.
Look at xapo, they don't have the same fee as frmracc is talking about. It has the highest fee for web wallets I guess since I never used other wallets before. Same wallets from exchanges transactions are even for free so that makes it lesser and free. But it's difficult to find this type of transaction as we've got different taste when it comes to wallets. Most of us here do prefer to stay with blockchain.info as it did changed it rates too from being expensive but reduced it afterwards.
I don't really want to you web wallet anymore because you don't have to manually change your miners fee.. unlike other wallet like electrum this is lite version of bitcoin core that i think can be easily to use.. Online web wallet has more risky because anytime soon they can be hack oir bruteforce unike wallet in desktop that if you disconnect from the internet you are safe or install antivirus cryptocurrency supported that i think you coins are safe the same like mine that my wallet still alive..
Do you mean use? Electrum has it's adjustable fee but look at it's cheapest suggested fee it's still quite high. We do know about online wallets are vulnerable of hacking and as we use them we must be aware that most of the web wallets that we are using aren't disclosing our own private keys. I tried to transact with blockchain.info today but it's quite the fees are high now unlike before the pump of bitcoin as it enters $7,000.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung galaxy s5 mining bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 08:12:27 AM
I just saw this on a blog. Indian based blog. How possible really is mining bitcoin through your mobile phone(samsung galaxy s5 to be specific).

From what i saw. It seems that the samsung company set the phones like those hardware miners. Theyve also stated that a 7 samsung galaxy s5 can mine faster than the i7 core gpu. If this is really a success it could really be a big help for us. We can easily buy some of this 2ndhand samsung phones and can easily be in the business
Yes it's been on the internet news websites and it's spread. Samsung will be releasing an APP that they've made which is specially built for mining with those s5's.  But this is not a worth it investment and if you want to try this out better to invest in trading or with real mining rig (ASIC or GPU). For sure that mining APP will just help to blow out those s5's easily. It's a big help to the community since Samsung is now open with crypto and mining but to be wise, I won't try this out.
Why will they make app for s5 when they already have s8 with better hardware and especially why will they take care of bitcoin mining? Some people here don't like antminer s7 for mining and who will use samsung galaxy s5? You want to say that galaxy s5 can replace antminer s5? No man, forget mobile mining but can't to not agree you. It's great feeling when your phone charges on wifi, you walk and your phone earns money, nothing can be so amazing.
Who said samsung is opened to crypto? Never heared about that.
I don't know the reason for that either it's probably they are getting to the hype and they see that the sales for the mining rigs are too high. I guess you misunderstand what I'm trying to say man. I'm not saying that those samsung galaxy s5 can replace those antminers. The news tells that Samsung is now open to crypto since they are starting to mine and building their own mining rig, their C-Lab is responsible for it. They may not show any news about accepting crypto's for their gadgets but using their s5's for mining is quite a hint. My mind is now changing with what you say about earning with our phone while walking..hmmmmm.

2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: overgrowth BTC on: November 02, 2017, 10:08:31 PM
hi,why do not meet us personally?
Hi Alex! There's a specific thread for meetups and this link will be redirecting you there https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=86.0

is it true that all those who converted atlcoin into btc have caused growth to 7000 usd of btc?
I guess so, there are many factors that can affect the price of bitcoin to pump and be dump. But the only thing that we are sure of on this thing is that many are buying with the current price. They don't mind with the expensive price of bitcoin but they want to join the upcoming hard fork so they keep on buying.
2316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 09:48:23 PM
In the way bitcoin is presently going, and it keeps going like that it will hit over $50k-$70k. Bitcoin will have lots of people invest into it before that time, which will be a big impact to the price increases.

I'm not comfortable with what I'm about to guess with the price of bitcoin but possibly everything can happen. We understand on what the market of bitcoin's status and it's dominating all the crypto's and even it's still young, many are amazed on it's growth and increase. Taking step by step for each year is way better, we are speculating too much price but do you even bother to think about those decrease and corrections, FUDs and other stuffs that will come along bitcoin's way up?
2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC near 7000$ on: November 02, 2017, 09:28:17 PM
If BTC hit that 7000$ Marks Hell yeh for all HODL Smiley
You're late on the party bitcoin nail it already earlier so you've got to keep on holding your btc out there. There are some waves for this pump and we are still riding that wave after these waves assume that correction will come. And when the correction happens this will make the price of bitcoin higher again and more adoption will be occurring during that phase.

People make money buying and holding bitcoin not buying and selling.
Just hold it
It's good for long term holders but sorry I've to sell and take out some profits.  Grin
2318  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get accepted to signature campaign? on: November 02, 2017, 09:02:57 PM
Hello, I have not had any luck with getting accepted to any signature campaigns and was wondering what one could do in order to increase the likelihood of being accepted?
It depends on the campaign managers taste . The best manager is yahoo better keep wactching for his campaigns and he also accepts local board posting that one is the good thing about him aside from quick payments and good management. Well if youre joining random campaign managers ofcourse you will have to kick it up a notch  meaning you have to post better than usual to make the campaign manager interested in you and eventually accepts you cheers mate

There are just campaign's that wants to spread their signature even on local boards as not all the people here in forum are English literate and feared to have an English conversation. So some of them are staying on their local boards talking with their countryman and there are campaign manager that understands that thing. But the thing here through campaign's you just have to discuss as it is, don't post just because you are getting paid but post as it is and you want to join the discussion and contribute with it.

Yeah that's absolutely right, post because of the two points. Post to be paid and post to add more additional knowledge/information for others. Speaking of campaign signature in local, its rare to find that thing. Not totally rare , but so much few campaign for that thing. Specially when your country is one of the poorest country in ranking.

No mate, I'm telling that you don't have to post because you are getting paid. Don't think about it, that's like an incentive while you are in a campaign. There's no sense if you'll just post for the payment, I'm telling that whenever you post, do it as it is your will not because you are in a campaign. Many are getting this wrong because when you are posting because you are getting paid, there's no sense of discussing at the right manner and you will just join those discussions that you don't want to post if you are thinking about your payment.

But if you only like to post without payments, its better to go on off topic or other website or forum site as well. Sometimes we need to be practical on what we do. Beside, you join here because you want to earn too while you exploring the world of bitcoin industry. I said two points (payment and contributing info to others ) which is definitely in reality. I support your comment because contributing idea is a good side while earning in the same time.
You really didn't get the point what I'm trying to say. You don't have to go to an off topic thread or section, I'm telling that don't post just because you are paid. Practically isn't really there, you are posting to contribute and help those people that are in need and lack of knowledge about what you know. And you still have to understand my point about posting with paid is just an incentive, so you've got to think more of that instead of paid posting.
2319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTG Hold or Fold? on: November 02, 2017, 08:45:25 PM
I bought some BTG, look like the miner today are not sure about segwit2x... Guys anyone can suggest if Hold BTG ( today lose 15% ) or fold it?
Why did you bought BTG? It's much better if you had bought some bitcoin. These miners are really looking for something that will always be in their favor and if I were you if you are sticking to the fork coins I would even choose the bitcoin cash, it has a big increase and much preferable by the miners. If you want to cut your losses with -15% sell it but if I were you, time will come that you can recover that but no idea on how long you have to wait.
2320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin increased this Holloween Season. on: November 01, 2017, 10:08:48 PM
Bitcoin increased this Holloween Season. What is the possible reason?
The major reason why the price of bitcoin increased during this Halloween season is we are close to the B2x hard fork.

What can you say about this. Is it a holloween joke or does it happen naturally?
No jokes, it's normally happening when we are close to that event. People that are into alts are transferring their money to bitcoin after selling those alts.

Is there a big fall in the next days?

Yes, it's possible not too big but a possible correction.

What is the reason why bitcoins increased by $ 6,500 and went to $ 7,000. It's surprising because at the same time it's halloween can someone explain why it's happening

Supply and demand, as we are near to the fork the demand goes higher.
