2322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: December 31, 2020, 10:20:53 AM
I have always imagined Santoshi as a group of people not just a single entity regards the difficulties involved in bitcoin Blockchain and it is quite unimaginable for a single person to perform the whole coding, launching and testing.
2323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: December 29, 2020, 11:48:55 AM
You can create a PGP public address and encrypt the keys  to yourself and decrypt them afterwards since it can only be decrypted by you I think that is another way to be safe out there.
2324  Other / Meta / Re: [2020] Positive news! on: December 29, 2020, 10:36:44 AM
So many challenges in 2020 so far but the most important thing is health which I have, I was so excited the day I ranked up to the member rank. I was not expecting it that day I knew there is reward in posting quality posts and the merits that took me to the rank was sent by CryptopreneurBrainboss. I have learnt a lot on this forum and it makes me happy been here always.
2325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages? on: December 28, 2020, 06:16:13 PM
It is not that hard to send an encrypted message the procedure on the thread posted by OG is even more tedious than the one I used here Smarth Ninja Thanks Og for the opportunity to earn some merits and learn a new skill
2326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 28, 2020, 06:08:36 PM
Would you have believed it was going to surpass $4k since March? it is not idiocy to buy bitcoin at any price since everyone weighs his or her gain and loss before embarking on a buying spree.
2327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hacked Exchanges since 2011 on: December 28, 2020, 05:37:44 AM
These surviving exchanges had better improved their cybersecurity. It is out rightly  ridiculous to imagine such scenarios when there are pump in the market, traders cant be able to access their assets. How can they make gains off the dynamic ATH if such things persistently happen?
2328  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: December 27, 2020, 03:49:52 PM
The difference bewteen 2011 and 2020 BTC value is amazing  Shocked

In the 50 BTC donator list I noticed "MemoryDealers" so that means Roger Ver also donated to the forum before he decided to take a different path: https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html

No offense Theymos but I think VIP is way to expensive. Please lower VIP to 10 BTC which is already close to $100 with fees. 50btc is ridiculous.

fast forward to 2020 here is the worth of the 10 btc you hoped to get @ $100

OgNasty seems to be the only active donator, 2011 crazy. 10 bitcoin was just worth $100 wow

2331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: December 27, 2020, 06:37:05 AM
Traditional trading even requires you to have a knowledge of the assets you are to sell on the market what more of digital currencies? you need to be able to know what you are trading and you need to have at least a mentor or a coach preferably who would be ready to guide you. Aside that you need to develop your emotional heath to accommodate the movement of market either positively or negatively.  Of course newbies can trade as every expert today was once a newbie.
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1inch exchange token claim on: December 27, 2020, 05:19:54 AM
Such an announcement will only work for people who have met the conditions before, why do not companies announce and give a period like two or three days, then the token price will rise, they can achieve more profits than before correction.

The risks of using such platforms are much less than their benefits, so be careful and choose to trust the most secure ones.

It would render the whole surprises useless it is a reward for loyal users and liquidity providers imagine an announcement beforehand, human greed factor will come to play and they will even end up spending more than what they actually budgeted. I had several trades to do on Uniswap which I never performed if anyone had told me about the airdrop they did I would have done those transactions. As the year goes by a lot of scams will thrive through this promises like uniswap and 1inch.
2333  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin worth buying now at these prices? on: December 27, 2020, 05:05:28 AM
Bitcoin has a nice historical data corrections on the price curve unlike some random stock investment that would fold upon successful investment whose loss can no longer be mitigated at the long run. You said you don't know much about stock investment but would rather choose it over bitcoin, it is not business wise. Don't invest in what you don't know. Bitcoin can actually surpass even your predicted $50k and aim higher than $100k then those who bought @ $20k might have gained x4 of their capital. Don't possible pressure Bitcoin to double your investments like a ponzi scheme it is not.
The only thing that has left everyone puzzled is the mass adoption from many institutional bodies.
2334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TWT x Binance Exchange on: December 27, 2020, 04:45:21 AM
Yeah, some twt is cool but what the point if it not listed on binance?

Trust Wallet belongs to the Binance exchange and is its official wallet. And the fact that the TWT coin is not on the exchange looks strange, although it is already traded on other exchanges. I believe that in the first quarter of next year, Binance will correct this misunderstanding and place this coin on the exchange.

I just found out from you that Trust Wallet belongs to Binance, so in my opinion TWT is a good coin to use as a long term investment and hopefully what you say is true if in Q1 2021 TWT might be listed on Binance exchange, because I often use Binance exchange for trading, so if TWT is listed on Binance exchange then it will be easy for me to buy TWT and hold for the long term.
At the embolden you have untill 05/01/2021 to withdraw the free TWT from Binance else you would lose them permanently as it is one of the rules that came with the T&C of the airdrop. Note, you can only store them in a BEP20 Wallet
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 26, 2020, 05:39:41 AM
Juventus and Barcelona are battling the same deformation due to lack of motivation or should I say fatigue is having a serious effect on big teams across Europe since the last season UCL embarrassments? a single red card on Cuadrado saw a fatal loss in the defense against an away side Fiorentina which should have been a winning match to put pressure on the league leaders but they failed to capitalize on that. They need to re-energize against the second phase of the season or risk the league tittle for UCL which I don't even see them clinging unto.
2336  Economy / Economics / Re: Value Today of $1000 Invested 5 Years ago (Bitcoin and Stock) on: December 26, 2020, 05:22:37 AM
The calculations proves how solving human problems yields profits and real time gain, Shopify and Bitcoin are the only investments that gave over 2000% profit in just 5 years and the don't need physical appearance necessarily. The stock market isn't as profitable as it used to be years back, so, I'm not a bit surprised with the result ROI.
2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much fud and scams in crypto and BTC on: December 25, 2020, 10:26:55 PM
You have a problem with an altcoin fine.. what pisses me off most is including bitcoin on your header.. who does that? XRP and the Yale misconduct is one of the few misunderstandings out there it doesn't represent the whole educational system to say the least.. Schools don't teach people scams but students learn it as a matter of greed and human emotional behaviors. XRP is currently facing challenges that would still be corrected in a short while if SEC vindicate the accused people in the community.
2338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open for bitcoin payment on: December 25, 2020, 09:48:49 PM
your boss must be an understanding person have accepted the bitcoin payment as alternative to fiat..  it is not easy to convince a novice in the blockchain industry talk more of a boss having his employee schooling him/her..
2339  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will Bitcoin trend at this time? on: December 25, 2020, 08:32:55 AM
Most even said 17th-20th of every year becomes and unstable stand point of bitcoin but that particular day Bitcoin proved them wrong by gaining +2.13% increase on the graph. I don't think this particular ATH is respecting any human predictions again. Remember many institutional adoptions happened during the year so, don't expect it to be like the previous years IMO.
2340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is headed for the stars, but... on: December 25, 2020, 07:49:17 AM
But if you can, hang onto the Bitcoins you have. Because you will be rich when BTC goes to a $million or higher.
Cool

This is exactly what I said the other day
here:
Depends on the quantity you're Holding, it also depends on your financial ability to maintain bills and cover up in case your sole reliability is Bitcoin. You can sell when the bull run is happening. If you have other means of paying your bills you can hold nobody knows if the pump would linger or dump will hang around. In my personal opinion I'd still hold for a few months.
There is absolutely no sense in holding on to BTC when you actually need its fiat equivalent at that point in time to pay life necessary bills  as everyone wanting to be rich differently has closest alternative to solve those problems with different assets to save your coins.
it is pretty much applaudable for everyone who HODL a pretty assets as Bitcoin because it is quite honorable when the wait affords its trust...  Grin Grin
