2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: August 17, 2022, 12:58:38 PM
I don't think casinos are deliberately manipulating things on their platform, or they're doing it whenever they feel like it. The house edge is implemented so as to give an advantage to the casino over the players in the long run.

Nowadays, maybe not so much, but in the past, there were a lot more online casinos that weren't provably fair. So, it wasn't just the house's advantage but there's always the chance that casino could screw you out of a good hand if they wanted to. And no one would ever be the wiser about it. You wouldn't know if they were doing something that would tip the odds in their favor.

Welcome to bitcointalk forum.
I think you need to work more on improving website design, and maybe add information page with more information.
There is no info about gambling license or anything about rules except short Terms of use window.
Sorry but this doesn't look like reliable gambling website to me.

I don't think they're licensed gambling operators. They claim that the casino is operated by "DR CORPORATION JSC", a company registered and headquartered in Bulgaria. But according to their National Revenue Agency registers, there's no such company with a license to organize gambling activities under the Gambling Act.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I believe they are operating illegally, which means authorities can shut them down at any time.

2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QI Blockchain - The only blockchain the world will ever need. on: August 17, 2022, 09:20:35 AM
This is to inform project owners and representatives there is a scam accusation against QI Blockchain:

[SCAM WARNING] QI Blockchain Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content

This project's whitepaper contains plagiarized content, as well as elements that may infringe on other intellectual property rights. I would appreciate hearing from the project representatives on this issue.

The accusation must have valid evidence, and also id like to know, how we define the word "SCAM" I saw a lot of project here that has flaws in their whitepaper, there's a lot of plagiarism, Now in the part of the creator of this thread we have the rights to know if this allegation are true or baseless. We want to hear your answer.

Every accusation is just that: an accusation. It could be proven true or unfounded based on the evidence presented. It is up to each of us to decide. But tell me something, if you find the whitepaper that contains almost 80% content copied from another project (with some paraphrasing to hide the fact), do you consider this just a flaw, or a deliberate attempt to deceive potential investors?

As for the definition of the word "scam", you can use google search or any online English dictionary.

For example:
scam noun
\ ˈskam  \
: a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation

scam noun
\ ˈskam  \
: a dishonest scheme; a fraud.

Vratio sam se, imam i nešto neiskorištenog merita, pa ako možda koga to zanima...  Grin

Evo mene opet, sa prijavom još jednog scam projekta: [SCAM WARNING] QI Blockchain Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content

Nije mi do merita već ako je netko voljan podržati flag protiv menadžera zbog njegovog stava i promoviranja ovakvih projekata na forumu.
2326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM WARNING] QI Blockchain Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content on: August 17, 2022, 08:10:54 AM
Bro, am not blaming but what am saying is that these tools are not to be trusted 100%. I'm a BM and I have used them mostly in checking articles, one tool will give you different results compared to the other (why now?).

I don't use plagiarism detection tools, I don't know where you got that idea from. This is the text compare tool you see in the screenshots, and as you can see, it works perfectly. Learn something about it if you want.

You need to have strong proof that this project is fake, commenting here just saying stop scamming without strong proof is nothing! That's the truth.

A project that steals content from other projects, even something so simple like content on a website, or even the whole whitepaper, which should be the most important document for any new project, is a fake project. You can find all the evidence in the OP.

If the OP will come with proof of the real project that he claimed to be copied by the one we promote, then I will agree with him! But I will never agree with him since he used a plagiarism tool to check the whitepaper and says the project is scam.

Again, I didn't use any plagiarism detection tools, and I don't care if you agree with me or not. That's up to the community to decide. As for the "real project", you can find all the information in the OP. I don't understand what more you want me to prove.

If scam was to be checked like that, then a lot of projects would be tagged as scam!

That may actually be true.

What happened: QI Blockchain is yet another fake project with completely plagiarized whitepaper and website content from multiple sources.

You might be correct that the whitepaper of the project is plagiarised, but you might be wrong calling the manager of the project a scammer or the project a scam. You provided evidences of plagiarism instead of that of scam. To the best of my knowledge, plagiarism is not equal to scam. You can report the account for plagiarism(which I'm not sure whitepaper plagiarism is among the forum rules). If the evidences are compelling, the account could get banned.
Meanwhile, you lack tangible evidence that the project is a scam, this is because majority of the projects these days doesn't engage professionally whitepaper writers, they go about paraphrasing multiple whitepapers to come out with their own version of garbage.
So, you could reconsider, because I know how frustrating it is for a genuine project struggling to see the light being faced with scam accusations without proves.

First of all, I'm surprised with your stance. As a senior member of this community, I think you should know better by now. You say, I might be correct about plagiarism? Please review the evidence first and let me know if I'm wrong about that. I welcome the opportunity to listen to and consider new information and opposing viewpoints, and admit when I am wrong.

Second, we seem to disagree on semantics, so let's get some facts straight. Plagiarizing other people's work without permission or attribution is a deceptive and fraudulent act that is not only detrimental to the community, but it is also illegal, and according to the English dictionary:

scam noun
\ ˈskam  \
: a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation

scam noun
\ ˈskam  \
: a dishonest scheme; a fraud.

So, can you explain to me, in which sense you can call a fraudulent project that steals ideas and content from someone else's work a "genuine" one?

It's not a genuine project. It just copies another project, and tries to fool people into thinking it's something new and innovative when in fact it is neither. Therefore, it's just a scam. And I find it odd that you think this practice is acceptable. It's not. Plagiarism is stealing, and theft is wrong.
2327  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM WARNING] QI Blockchain Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content on: August 16, 2022, 03:42:51 PM
I don't know why you reported us, but this is not fair! Now all our campaigns have a warning message and we are not scammers.

I tagged your account because you posted their ANN and you are the only one on the forum representing this fake project as far as I know. If there is an official representative of the QI project in this community, please let me know so I can tag him as well. It is also not the first time your account has been used to promote scam projects without due diligence.

We are promoting the real QI blockchain, and you can see all the detail on social media, website, or you can follow our TG group and meet the owner there cause we added him to track his campaign.

I'm not interested in what goes on in other social networks or telegram groups, all I care about is what's going on in this community.

I wonder what you will say when QIE coin goes live (because soon you will see it in big exchanges) time will tell bro, let's wait and see.

This doesn't change the facts. I would still report it for plagiarism in the whitepaper and on the website even if it was on big exchanges right now!

Even the announcement you created and posted is composed of plagiarized content. For example, here's just an excerpt you copied from the Avalanche project (you even stupidly forgot to remove the word Avalanche in a few instances):

Its separated businesses.

Ah, I see. So, in that case, can you share with us what is the company behind Casino2x.xyz?
2333  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino2x.xyz NO KYC! Instant crypto deposit! Only in house games! on: August 15, 2022, 01:13:35 PM
Hello,

Yes we are same team!

In your other topic, you mentioned that you are a registered company and have all the necessary documents and permits. However, when I tried to find your company's information online, I couldn't find anything.

Having company information listed online is an easy way to show potential clients you are a legitimate business, but you didn't list your company's information on any of your websites. Why is that?

Hello,

There have information on our "Terms of Service" page.
But can you type on other topic about other our company, please.

Thank you very much!

Ok, I found it. So you are CryptoPay LTD, registered in Bulgaria with the ID 204856321, correct?

What do you mean by "your other company"? I thought you said both sites are run by the same team.

2335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Bingo-hash.com fake gambling website. on: August 15, 2022, 10:21:40 AM
A gambling website promising a stable income, that's a first! On top of that they will assign you a personal instructor!
Does this really work? I mean how can anyone be so naive to fall for this?

I also hope that anyone reading this will never fall for a scam like this. Unfortunately, statistics have proven that there are always people who are gullible enough to fall for it. All we can do is warn people of these scams, to prevent them from losing their money.

The truth is that there is no such thing as a stable income in gambling! It's either you win or lose. If you want to make money, then do something else.
2336  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] ATHOS META [ATM] Plagiarized Content, Multiple Red Flags on: August 15, 2022, 09:55:40 AM
Red Flag #7: Their website is almost identical to the template demo

I just wanted to share some more information about the Athos Meta Capital website and to show how lazy these scammers really are. Their website is almost identical to the template demo from Themeforest. They didn't even bother to change the images used in the demo, including client/partner logos in the footer. Considering that most of the content is plagiarized, they probably made the entire website in less than 15 minutes. This is not something you would expect from a company that claims to have more than 10 years of experience in the financial business and a massive capital available to invest in potential projects.

2337  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal Mia_houston on: August 14, 2022, 12:39:49 PM
So since some of the evidence in this report post has been deleted by the user in question (no longer on the forum) then is there any chance for mia_houston to be unbanned?

I don't think so. By that logic, anyone could request an unban after simply deleting their old posts. Aside from that, posts on the forum are not actually deleted, but only hidden from the public. Moderators can probably still see them in the trash. Those posts are moved from the active database to the backup only after a year, as far as I know.

There is more plagiarism than this, of course.

Red Flag #6: A non-existent company

They pretend to be a legitimate business but are actually a non-existent company. Apart from the fake phone number and email address, no other contact information were found on their website. There is no address, no physical location, no company registration, nothing.

Based on all the evidence, I tagged their account and created a Newbie warning (Type 1) Flag against user AthosMeta: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3019

2340  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] ATHOS META [ATM] Plagiarized Content, Multiple Red Flags on: August 12, 2022, 11:14:21 PM
When we blend ourself in this market, we took Cardano as our goal to strive and we work night and day to achieve our targets

It seems you took more than just that from Cardano project. You have used identical sentences from their materials, and you have incorporated them into your content. This is called plagiarism.

Regarding the game field, we have experienced it for 10 years, and there are thousands of game versions similar to us nowaday. Fishing Games are very popular in people's lives, we have implemented many game projects and gained a lot of good reputation. And now we want to apply this game to P2E blockchain model so that we can bring more benefits to users based on the clever ATM tokenomics

I'd like to see some proof of that. Where is your team? Where can I find your previous work? Where is your portfolio or code repository?

As far as we know, Gila Studio persists in the belief that this is their game product. Indeed they copied and imitated our products on the app store so many times.

So you claim that they actually stole your product? A bold claim, but I'm skeptical. Can you back this up with evidence?
I can see their game is quite popular on Google Play Store, where can I find yours? Anyway, I have forwarded this information to Gila Studio, awaiting their response.
