It is too early to say that it is a trap or not. I think that after exceeding the level of 6000 USD will we know if the next drops of prices are ahead of us, or this is the end of the bear market.
Do not think it is a trap or might have already being crashed to near low and would not have risen to levels of 4K . The rise itself proves their is a lot more to achieve and rise and fall will still continue to be a part of it . Keep buying on low and sell it on high or the rise to make money . Still finding a good timing to keep rolling from this market, shorting can be possible if you fully trust the chain, more than anticipating whether its a bull or just another exit trap, we should focus from how we can take some opportunities to gain from the market behaviors, buying low and selling high and continuously doing that from time to time. |

If i dont see any recovery this year, i will keep buying and investing to cryptocurrency because it holds a future to change the way of online payment and type of investment where you are in full control of your funds. I no longer hold a new altcoin and sold it all last year. I am trading my funds actively using the stop loss or stop limit option where I was able to control my losses and earnings. I will keep do the same thing this year to multiply my holdings.
Focus and always try to keep your stand, this industry still have promising outcome, as long as you trust your own assessment and you do your research, things will be positive for your investment, keep in mind that it is your money that you are dealing and needs to protect make sure you have your good understanding. |

I can see so many people are already anticipating for the hardfork of Ethereum but i don't think that is enough to make the price of Ethereum rise so high to that value. May be can see a rise to about $200-$300 but $1000 is a huge exaggeration unless bitcoin also rises with a bull run then we can expect such a value.
It can if bitcoin and the whole market will go along the way, when market become green again and most of the investors comes back that value was been achieved before, rallying up around this industry is no longer impossible its just a matter of time and how far you are willing to take the risk of investing and waiting till it comes. |

some tokens that I get from a bounty are worthless and I can't do anything except save the token in the wallet just hoping that in the future there will be a miracle and the tokens that I have can be worth
no other choice but to hope and pray that the token will be listed and have some value in the future as majority of those new project where unable to achieved getting that far, the dev just simply abandoned the project and enjoy the money that they've got. |

It seem the news of the hardfork affecting people for good. People starting to put their trust on ethereum again.
Perhaps this can be the starting point for ethereum to become great again like in the old day.
Yeah right, it seems that speculators are moving forward with the current trend, placing the coin value to be lifted and before or after the hardfork 200$ can be achieved and can run more than that, it's all about how the community will act and it will change the directions of this project. |

Yea, I can only name two-three reasons thy people fear cryptocurrency, 1st lack of knowledge (the subject is new to them), It's not legal tender in some countries e.g. US, and 3rd reason crypto value is up and down and people want steady value just like with the gold.
Afraid of losing it's value while they are still holding it, people who have lack of information about this new industry will not take the risk since they are not willing to lose their money, only those who have good perceptions about the future of this investment will take the move investing to this business. |

Because nobody knows when the market will start to rise. But, as I expected, this time not from Sales just stopped and watched the market and appreciate this time with I family on the grounds that in a few months the market will start to rise. So this time there is no compelling reason to offer. I don't know myself and I can't predict the increase. But if the coin that I hold is valid and worth holding, I better hold it or I have to cut my losses.
Even the coin has a good purpose and it seems like it will dominate the market there is still a chance that the coin will frustrates you because of the team behind it, it is good if the team will be there until the end but most of the time after the listing of the coin the roadmap stops and they are abandoning the project. Sad truth, ,most of the time after the project got listed dev will abandoned and blame the bounty hunters for dumping the coin, really a tough decision to make while the market still not so friendly for investors and traders, try to re assess and think wisely before making any steps. |

Figures at 4k is very promising for the price of bitcoin in near future but it is too early call it as a rally. For the fluctuations that we have seen, this peak may called as a correction. I think, legendary Decembers that we have seen may be lasted for a few years.

It was just little bounce from bottom because they had dropped much, if you want to see real bull you can look to end of the 2017 and january of 2018, maybe some good news come soon and this bounce return to bull of course. The whole 2018 except for January was all corrections and even we've seen a little bounce it will be bounce down again as those who are trying to make an exit are selling when seeing a little rise, still most of believers will keep holding and hoping that this new year will show some high again. |

It is indeed nice price movement we are seeing on ethereum market however, the loss in term of dollar value is still huge. That is why I believe buying ether now is a good ijvestment decision as there will be attempt at recovery at some point!

The market will definitely recover this year, but There will always be obstacles that must happen. 2018 really hit us hard and I hope 2019 would recover the market. Investors, including me, are expecting big things this early 2019.

I don't think satoshi created bitcoin to solve poverty they can lose their money if they think bitcoin as a investment you know bitcoin is volatile so risky, I think he just created bitcoin for fast transaction in online.
There's a sole purpose why Bitcoin was created not just a quick way to earned but to solve or help payment transactions, it can lessen the delayed and can be used from boarders to boarders with much lesser fee, if being adopted it will bring new options for most people to deal with overseas payment forms. |
