2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mnemonic is no longer safe? on: October 20, 2022, 10:10:38 PM
I haven't experienced any Mnemonic leak in my device.  I believe all the phrases created within our unit is safe until it is breached by malware.  The leak of this secret phases maybe caused by a malware or virus that snippet wallet and it is possible that @OP friend is infected by cryware[1].  It is said that this malware is designed to collect and exfiltrate data from hot wallets, or non-custodial cryptocurrency wallets, that are stored on common user devices and help complete crypto transactions. [1]  The link below gives more detail about this kind of malware.  It also gives pointers on how to keep our gadgets and devices safe from malware.
(copy pasted it here to anyone who doesn't want to click the link)
Malware or viruses is never been new on digital world. There's always those hackers who would really be keep on making malwares and other related stuff considering that crypto space is something a

honeypot for them to get tons of money with those crawling malwares which we know that majority of us really make use of pc and mobiles which is really that easy to penetrate if you arent that

aware on how these things works or make yourself that safe with it.Its typical but people would only learn up on strengthen up their security once they had
experience some losses.
2322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading profitable? on: October 20, 2022, 09:49:55 PM
I never tried copy trade before and based on how was taught then I was advised not to copy trade because you don't know how financially bouyant  the person you are trade is because you might copy and run lost at last before even the person you are copying loses. A simple words to those trading today is to make more efforts to get the best knowledge, do more research or study lots material online because the person you may sees as an expert might not be knowledgeable enough to make profits from his trades than letting newbies to copy trades from him.
Its never been advisable on making yourself that copy trading and it would be better if you do make yourself that able to learn with those basic principles of trades and make yourself that experience enough

on handing your trades on this unpredictable market without the need on relying on someone.Someone said its profitable and there are ones who do said that its never been good but on general essence

you cant really make sure of these guys on making profits constantly. They wont really be letting on someone to follow up their trades if they were really able to make money constantly.
They wont really be minding about peanut subscription fees.
2323  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 20, 2022, 09:05:52 PM
Hey guys.
Choosing crypto in casinos has always also to do with more anonimous gambling.
Anyway I'm curious how important is anonimity to you when you pay & play?

It's important and actually that's one of the reason why I like playing in crypto casinos. My anonymity matters because it can give me less worries while playing.

However, due to regulation wherein many casinos are becoming regulated by the Government, I had to comply on their kyc requirement, but this depends. I will only give my information on casinos that has good reputation and trusted by many gamblers. At this point, I comply in kyc of one specific casino that I trust.
This is one of the reasons why many gamblers prefer using a crypto casinos to gamble and get things done without any stress of thinking of exposing there identity to gambling platforms. Everyone wants to be safe from any future attack which might come as a result of the information these casinos might have gotten from us. Everyone wants there identity to be unknown which is one of the good reasons I do see much many crypto gamblers prefer gambling on a crypto casinos.
Without a doubt many people at the early stages of this market preferred to gamble in cryptocurrency casinos due to the respect they offered to their privacy, however the gambling industry in this market is now so big that governments decided they could not leave it alone any longer and they have passed regulations all over the world which force casinos to identify their customers, so each year it is getting harder and harder to find a reputable casino which will not force KYC on you at some point in time.
Actually most of platforms now are regulated and they have included on their terms and conditions that they could anytime ask out for some verification depending on their likes or discretion which does

simply means that on the time you do make out some registering on a site then you should really be anticipating or expecting that anything could happen. If you do give out importance of anonymity

and you are also a big wagerer or player then you would definitely be coming into a point which you would really be needing those verification which isnt something surprising
when you do deal up with those businesses which are really that going in line with those regulation set up by the government.
2324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: October 19, 2022, 11:04:14 PM
Bitcoin price will reach $100k but not this year that the price of bitcoin is still moving between $18k to $19k, which will be difficult for the price of Bitcoin to hit $50k before the end of this year 2022. Now that we are in the month of October and we still experience bear market, show that next year 2023 will be a best year for investors to experience $100k in the community for those that invested to earn well from their investment, that is why am taking my time to make sure I invest a huge amount of money on bitcoin in this bear market to be part of those that will celebrate when the price of bitcoin hit $100k.
No one knows even if it would happen or not and there's no guarantee that we are seeing these numbers but to look upon which we had the ath of 69k then it is already that near on 6 digit price which

we are hoping or aiming for but its not guaranteed because everything will be entirely be depending on the market demand or overall recognition but of course we should mind of about

other factors which would really be affecting overall market condition. Its not something that we can assure off but we arent blind not to see its potential which
we had been able to witness after a decade.
2325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 19, 2022, 10:08:41 PM
That’s true, each of them have their advantages and disadvantages. If you are in a bear market, that means you have the chance to buy bitcoin for cheap, and that’s a great thing and you need to do that, but if you stay too long then it’s going to be like "alright I already bought as much as I can, let’s go up already!" and that’s understandable.
Exactly, we cannot say or call each of them more important and anotehr is less important. The importance is that we can utilize and optimize every chance that we can in both bears and bull markets. So we can take the advantage and also avoid the disadvantages. We have been here for certain time periods and we have been experiencing both bear and bull markets. For me, those are the cycles that we must pass every time. So, this will be our turn to take every advanatge of each market period.
The important thing is that you do know on how to utilize these movements for you to make money.Make yourself that aware on how these trends do behave or move out
so that you do already have the idea on what you should gonna do.
Its hard and its not something simple as you do hear of but its not impossible for you to get familiar or get a hold of it.
Both trends are important because you cant really make out money if you dont know on what you are doing.
2326  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: October 19, 2022, 09:34:41 PM
Why should it? Finance (and probably investing in general?) is a far better and far more important subject. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are just a subsection of the broader topic that is investing.
Yes, Finance has already been included in the school curriculum for long, but to be honest, having cryptocurrency to be included in the school curriculum will give opportunity to the students to develop certain knowledge and skills when it comes to crypto investing, trading, and by means of using it as a currency in the future. With that, they will gain more knowledge on how to save and invest, and to grow their money and become financially independent in the future.
There are universities which is already doing that.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/top-universities-have-added-crypto-to-the-curriculum

Dont know on what part they are really putting some emphasis whether on bitcoin or into some altcoins.
Important thing that its already been recognized.
2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 19, 2022, 08:18:00 PM
When a minor becomes addicted to gambling, it can sometimes lead to dangerous behavior. A minor boy fails to control himself. He may sometimes behave abnormally. Here it is the duty of a father to take care of his son at least till he reaches adulthood. A little delay here can sometimes lead to great danger. Which may never be recovered.
Yes you are right. I have a minor son who is completely addicted to gambling. His behavior has changed a lot. He thinks about things all the time and has a hot temper. At first I didn't understand why he does this. Later I understood.  I have found that he is addicted to gambling. How can I get him away from gambling please help me.
You are in a very difficult situation as dealing with someone which is addicted is never easy, however like always the first step is for the addicted to recognize they have a problem and they need help to deal with it.

If this step is not taken then nothing can be done to help that person as they will never accept the help they desperately need, and once they take that step it is important to get them professional help, as leaving an addiction behind is not something which can be done overnight and instead it is a process which can take months or even years.
External help would be useless if the said person or addicted ones doesnt really like to hear off any words from someone even up into his family and this is what makes treating gambling addiction do

becomes worst because the ones who could really able to help out is yourself, once you dont really realize and able to see that the thing you've been doing is wrong then you would really be just

doing the same mistakes all over again and again until nothing is left on you. This is why never ever make yourself get addicted that much.
There's no such thing about infinite funds because in gambling where it could really make you broke when the time comes.
2328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Payed trading person to follow on: October 18, 2022, 11:11:08 PM
Going wrong direction dude as this is not the real way to trade, it can lead you to a major loss, and bro what about the learning things out there so I am sure that you should follow all of your signals and make your own analysis. As it can make you able to be independent and trading in low volatile market is too good to learn also try to avoid margin.
By studying the signals he gets, he will be able to figure out how to get a signal for himself because signals from other people will not work optimally for him. This can help him develop his analytical skills and know when to trade. But if he persists in using signals from other people without studying it further, we can't do anything about it because it's his own decision. And hopefully, he can figure out if it's right or wrong to do.
When you are just starting then you would definitely be having that impression that it should do if you are just simply following but sooner or later you would really be finding out to study on what

that mentor or signal provider is giving you which its impossible that you wont really be considering on going in depth with those signals been provided so at least you do make yourself learn along the way.

All depends because not all people would really be mindful on things that they've been doing but rather heavily be that dependent on someone who do get paid on doing that.
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump and dump for people with small amount of money (Theory) on: October 18, 2022, 10:21:44 PM
When it comes to pump and dumps, for people with small amount of money is it best to look for coin/token that have 0 volume? also the order book is mostly buyer or sellers?

How do you find the perfect coin/token to perform a pump and dump? what your criteria?
No, you seriously have to look for coin/token that have decent volume rather than with a zero volume. You can definitely tell that if there are lot of buyers then it will pump and vice versa but this kinda hard to determine at different scenarios since the one playing here is either a set of whales trying to lure the market. I think there's no criteria, basically they don't have any unless they just want to pump/dump it.
small to zero volume which you can called low or small caps for sure which it is really that common sense that they would really be going after for huge multipliers for huge profit.

This is why they do really end up on having this consideration because they are looking for huge profits rather than on small percentage while they had waited up for so long.

This is where people do really take up some risk because they are really hoping for that kind of hit which is something that really very risky since not all
low volume or low caps arent really that giving assured movement for upcoming months or years.
2330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Prophecy on: October 18, 2022, 09:18:16 PM
I was jolted into shock when he said, "I have prayed for people that trade Bitcoin, and they are making  profit." I don't really know what he meant by that. He was either referring to Forex trading or something else I don't know, but if it is a Bitcoin investment, I am certain enough to believe that prayer and prophecy don't work for Bitcoin.
I thought you're shock thinking that you will now be blessed like the others. What he said there is too easy to understand but I wonder why you didn't get it. Is there a btc that is also a forex? Obviously, there's nothing because btc is different from forex. He said btc so he is only referring to those who trade with btc. He didn't mentioned btc investors but you can request to include it.

Prayer and prophecy might work effectively as long you teamed it up with hard work. It's okay to not believe on their claims but you should try to go to the church for other reasons or to pray for the blessing that you are continuously receiving whether it is small or big.
Dont know on why people are really that a fan on attaching up Bitcoin into some prophecy or religious aspect which i dont really see for it to be that relevant.
Its a digital currency with having a specific usage or utility just like on what we are seeing on fiat.

It all talks about on how people do able to engage on both utility and investment on the same time.
It will really be indeed vary but lets just respect on someones approach even though its not really something sensible in this regard.
2331  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: October 18, 2022, 08:11:29 PM
Never try to exploit loopholes in casino. Casino owners are not stupid people. More often than not, the initial capital may even get forfeited and these are the bonus hunters will end up with the nothing. So if you manage to find a loophole, don't try it too often!
And this is what we must not do to break the casino system because they will aware about that and will check it as soon as possible. But we can try to search for the vulnerabilities and report them to fix the bug. It will help them to develop better security to protect their site and also help them to grow the site to be recommended casino.

I also feel for those casinos that had been cheated in the past by many gamblers, I can't blame them as well because no one is perfect and no matter how careful you're, once a mistake is  bound to happen then avoiding becomes inevitable, though some of the gamblers too have some reason to back up their actions that they had never been lucky with such opportunity, and have been loosing bet despite all attempts to win, now is the nest time to make thier own recovery of wasted efforts and money which is bad and unfair as well, both the casinos and gamblers were supposed to create a mutual friendliness that will coexist between themselves that they both work at each others interest not to harm anyone.
Most of time on which to those gamblers who are really that mindful is to those people who do have huge bankroll or money to spent but majority does only have limited funds or not really that big plus

thinking that they are losing money in the end and thats why they dont really care much when it comes security overall as long they've been dealing on a gambling site which is popular or known then it is

already that enough for them to trust but just like on what others been saying that there's no such thing about perfect security and this is why we should really be that accepting always the risk.
2332  Economy / Economics / Re: Court win for worker fired for not keeping webcam on on: October 15, 2022, 09:01:15 PM
What is the difference between leaving the web cam open or having a surveillance camera in the workplace?
I understand the idiosyncrasy, but both things seem the same.
The problem lies in the attempt of many employers to take advantage of workers and interfere even in their personal affairs to enhance profits, such as controlling family visits or the number of births and others.
If it was a formal workplace then there must be CCTV's on there, not only to watch the employees if they are working properly but also to watch out for the thieves and other crimes which can occur. If we work from home then it's rare that an employer require their employees to open their webcam while working, unless if there is a meeting.

In my opinion, what the employers did there is valid as long as it was still under the working hour but the cam must be off during break times or when the work has ended already. This is for the employers to know that their employees are not slacking off during working hours or they don't do some cheating.
One of the most common thing where these employers do really mind off if their workers are really that slacking off on the time of work but to think and mind off sensibly that as long they do pass
out on those tasks and whats needed then i dont see any issues if ever they would really be turning off their cams but it turns out that some had really be that too strict on implying this rule.

Well, i cant blame them though and since you are paying someone then you could really demand on what rules should really be followed. If the worker had just agreed into those
terms then he doesnt have the right to complain.

There are some exemptions though which is understandable but on the time span of office or work hours then everything would really be just like the
same when you are working on physical.
2333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My exorbitant lessons in last bull market on: October 14, 2022, 11:34:39 PM
What is your exorbitant lesson investing in crypto last bull market (2021-2022)? I will like to share mine...

1. I watch YouTube videos of people gambling on meme coins with just 100$ and making thousands of dollars, I did the same and I ended up with tokens that I can't sell on an exchange, buying works but not selling.

2. Friends told me that Vitalik have promised Proof of Stake on Ethereum for years and it never came to past, I believe them and invested in Eth mining equipment, I am now selling to gamers since they are not profitable, not even a bit.

3. 100k per BTC nearly brainwashed me, I escaped this though but I really believed it, if I had some funds at the time I might have invested on BTC at ATH, thinking its going to 100k.
These are the main things that could happen if you do always make yourself get hyped on what you do see around and not making your own judgement basing up on your analysis.
Even myself is guilty of this when im still a newbie on which i do really make myself believe on good things that i do see around without even realizing that it is really just a trap.
Meme coins in the past are nothing but when someone hyped it up then it did really become valuable. No one really knows on what the future holds
but mistakes and errors could really make you even more wiser and experienced as you do go ahead.
2334  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 14, 2022, 10:43:50 PM
Not  much in my case, as I have little to hide, however I do respect people who play larger sums and have "that type of money" and look for a degree of privacy. I guess that it has always existed in the "real" world and on-line gambling has just made it easier. Anonymity in general is a nice to have, but it may not be the key to choose a platform for most of the people.
I believe bigger players already submitted their KYC to the platform so they can be more safe but of course they will not tell it to the public because of that security issue. Same with me, I don’t have much to hide but because of belief of the society that gambling is bad, I also decided to stay anonymous since I know KYC are secured with the site but to the people around you, for sure they will spread it once they know that you are into gambling.
Having lots of money is something a person doesnt really get easily scared on something of something as long they arent involving on illegal things then they wouldnt really care if they would submit

those identification or personal details.Yes, we do really value our anonymity but there are instances which it cant really be avoided since majority of platforms today are regulated or licensed

which means that on whatever terms and regulations been applied t hen it would be simply be passed up into its users and they would really be strictly following it.
2335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What efforts have you made to raise bitcoin awareness in your community? on: October 14, 2022, 09:41:01 PM
We live in a modern world, and it is the responsibility of those who are educated to educate those around them, because not everything in this life is learned in school. Aside from attending school, there are numerous ways to learn. We wake up each day and see new things, so learning is all around us.
In 2016, a friend of mine suggested that I come and invest in Bitcoin; I was shocked, and I told him that I would not. I thought it was all a scam, and I don't like online stuff because I don't believe in it, so I told my friend, "Okay, since you said it's not a scam, teach me about bitcoin." I did some folder research on it and discovered that it is true. My friend introduced me to bitcoin. I began learning how to trade it, and from there I began investing in Bitcoin. My investment gradually grew in my favor, and I began to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I was so surprised when my people transferred the thought I had for my friend before I joined to me. I started spreading the word about bitcoin, and while not everyone believes in it, it has made me less suspicious. Even now, most people believe it is a scam. I noticed that some of us here are raising awareness. No, charity starts at home.
Im done with sharing which i do have some bad experiences when i do tend to share up Bitcoin wayback in 2016 onwards and since those times which hyip investments are that rampant then lots of

them had ended up on getting scammed and they are pointing fingers at me on what i had shared up which i do basically explains on what is Bitcoin and not to those common hyip or scams around.

People are way too greedy which they do end up on messing their money just they do put all of their hard earned on something which they do believe that could make them rich
which ending up on a disaster. Now, i dont have the interest on explaining on others about it.
2336  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 13, 2022, 11:08:38 PM
^^ I guess if we are above our lowest price for this year which is around $17k we are all good. We are still holding on the big barrier around $18k-$20k and so I will say that this will remain the case till the end of this year. We did have gain some around $20k, but their is CPI news that says that we are going down the hill very fast and so the market react negatively again going below $18k for the nth time. But as I have said, I'm not seeing the price hitting all time low this 2022.
We do still have 2 months before this year ends which we dont even know if we would really be going past 17k bottom price for this year.Nothing is certain and nothing is something conclusive.

Guessing and predicting is a never ending cycle we do have here on crypto thats why risk taking would really be that crucial. Each decisions would be made will be entirely depending on a certain trader/
individual.
I guess for this month of October that we do still continue to move sideways as where we dont really see any bullish events or situations where could make prices been pushed up.
2337  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 13, 2022, 09:59:14 PM
For me anonymity is not an important feature anymore. With so much KYC demanded everywhere you need to adapt yourself to the environment or give up a plethora of crypto services and opportunities. In fact, internet isn't anonymous anyway. Some people have a false sensation they are hidden, but governments' agencies, especially from the world's potencies like US and China must have top notch technology we can't even imagine.

In conclusion, it is a lost battle, so better that you don't commit any wrongdoings online because you never know who is watching you and how they are watching you.
If you are getting used to into those typical or traditional transactions on real life which do ask out those information and documents then you would really make yourself numb whenever any platforms

would be asking it or simply you are really that getting used to it which you wont really be minding about anonymity or privacy anymore.I dont really see something wrong on this one

as long you arent hiding something or doesnt have any issues then there's nothing you should be hiding on but there are people who do really give out importance of their identity
which they do always think about those exposed documents might be sold out in darkmarket or whatsoever correlates on that.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: October 13, 2022, 08:47:34 PM
It's easy to say that 2022 is the time to buy,
because indeed the prices of all altcoins are currently at floor prices, even XRP, ADA, BNB and also ETH are also in the buy zone,
so why be afraid? even though it is very cheap and much cheaper than last year.
Don't be regret if the next bullrun altcoin will increase at least 10x.
Yes, its easy to say but when you are on the actual situation on making a decision on buying then this would be the toughest challenge to have on which you cant really make out decisions
due to emotions.
We are totally aware that it is the best time to buy when the market is on reds but you cant really avoid not to think that it might be going even more. This is why you would
really be considering on keep on waiting for the best possible bottom that you could have.
Whenever you do make out some buy or sell decisions then it would really be varying on someones goals and perceptions on things.
This is where proper analysis do sets in.
2339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning From Trading Without Any Professional Knowledge on: October 12, 2022, 11:23:26 PM
^ It is possible but the high risk would be also tied up.
You can do copy trading on a trading platform that has offer this kind of feature and choose professional traders to copy their portfolio but unfortunately, this is based on luck,
Whe I hear luck, I think of gambling. Copy trading won't really be about luck as, the so called or self proclaimed and acclaimed professional traders have possibly done there analysis and so, your not just really jumping in the market but doing so based on trust in someone else's trade and analysis.

Copy trading is never the best way to go about trading the crypto market, its more of an advantage should you give learning a chance. For this reason, demo mode has been put in place in many exchanges and utilising it to gain experience should be a way to better your chances in trading live. Be ready to build trust in a strategy you would come up with.
As a starter, having luck seems to be in their mind, and mostly do copy trading. Well, I'd never see it as a wrong move as beginners as they are still learning and about to gain experience as I was sure that in the later they will make their own strategies and improve their knowledge and skill so they can stand alone. But to believe these self-proclaimed experts is no longer acceptable to me, maybe for just getting ideas but to rely on them is not the thing we are supposed to do.
Relying into others is never been a good behavior for you to do so.Trading does involved skills and knowledge which would really be helping you to handle out this unpredictable market.

Earning is what we do mainly aim on why we do make trades. This isnt a race and there are just people who do keep minding on rushing decisions and make things on haste and this is where mistakes do
really happen.
You cant really acquire skills on short time basis though but it would really be depending on someone on how they would really be making up progress into theirselves.
2340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 12, 2022, 09:59:19 PM
Hey guys!
Some of us are occupied in i-Gaming industry, some are just players...but apart from leisure&profession there are still old good offline casinos all around the world.
Today Im thinking if visiting an offline casino is out of date or still a good place to visit while travelling?
Do you visit casinos when you travel? How often? Which ones?
Let's remember of old good times Cheesy
I dont have much money to spent out and going into casinos thats why i do only stick into local ones which is located into our place and not tend to visit into other places casinos.
Unless for those people who do really have the love on doing gambling then pretty sure the main thing that they would be having on mind is to experience other places casinos
for some different ambiance and locals which are playing there or simply means about socializing with other nationalities.

If you do have the money then why not? It do really matters on some circumstances on which you do able to play or not depending on your finances.
