2321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making computers more EFFICIENT & powerful making the world save ENERGY? on: June 16, 2022, 04:14:46 AM
Hey,

How good is the argument that bitcoin is actually making the world save energy since it is pushing the limits of computer technology making computers more efficient and powerful and so having an overall positive impact in saving the world?
Is that a convincing argument to those that say that bitcoin is a huge waste of energy?

- remotemass
We only have very few argument that points a good part in having bitcoin specially in terms of Energy saving and efficiency , most of the thread and posts that we come across is about banning of Bitcoin in specific area because of Energy expensiveness .

____________________________

But like arguments above? this is a Poor and not supportive topic that only poor relation to the actual users can prove.

not unless people can do wiser in Mining and transacting bitcoin with cheaper electricity ? this issue will always be a problem.
2322  Economy / Gambling / Re: GXGBet.com | GXGCoin.io - Leading DeFi Gaming Site Needs You 😎 on: June 16, 2022, 02:38:31 AM
Thanks so much everyone for the warm welcome. Sorry. I created a new account and upgraded it to Copper cause I realised I couldn't change my display name easily. I hope that's not a violation of some sort.
It is good to see that you comply with this advice since you will earn this if your company is truly dedicated and serious about your staying and having business here.

Thanks again for your comments. With regards to the KYC concerns, I have spoken to management and I believe waiving this for all forum members here is not going to be an issue. Let me know if you run into any KYC problems and I will work something our for sure.
Another great action for you and the team because this community really hates doing KYC specially in new gambling site that has not proven anything yet , because there is a chance that our details will be sell off to 3rd party users or at least becomes bugged by advertising .
2323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: June 15, 2022, 10:45:50 AM
My portfolio is a wide net. 50% BTC & ETH. It's fascinating watching altcoin behavior in this downward spiral. Some unexpected surprises... Braintrust 😉. I haven't invested more than I'm willing to lose. Though down about 55% I'm in for the long term. HODL !!!
as if you have other option now  Grin , most of us are like you who are at least either HODL or being trapped in the dumping market so has no option but to  Keep the funds inside our hands.
if given a chance to sell out before the dump? or at leas if we knew what will happen in the market? then surely we will be selling and buying in the dumping market now.

Indeed, there is actually no other choice but to hold it in view of the declining market conditions,
because if you decide to sell I don't think it's a good decision and it actually makes us lose money and of course we don't want it
better be patient and wait for the bull market
actually there is option but to sell at losses and buy a GEM , only if you can find which will be Gem and which will be dumping .
2324  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 15, 2022, 10:31:48 AM
In my opinion, $13K is quite possible this week for Bitcoin. But whales are confuse for dumping more because they know Bitcoin has more value and it is undervalue around $13k. So more dumping means draining their bags so quickly. People are really hungry for Bitcoin in new inflationary era.
The price still Holding above 20k level but yeah Literally 20k is the value now and i believe that there is a lowering chances to happen now .

if the price once fall down below 20k? then we will be seeing this 15k or even 13k lowest ever had after that 68k ATH.

2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About NFT on: June 15, 2022, 09:31:47 AM
Are you optimistic about the development of NFT?Have you ever invested in NFT?How much profit did you get?

This is one of my biggest regret in crypto  career , that i did not partake in NFT booming in 2021 in which even in Axie Infinity i did not happen to invest that I might earn multiple amount if make it right.

now that this is already dumping and like ICO? DeFi and NFT are soon be dead and whales will look for another place to make money.
2326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 15, 2022, 08:58:01 AM
Abusers must be punished thats it !!!

why need to ask if whos on fault here? isn't obvious that the Gambling sites are being created for the developer and for gamblers to have businesses , for owner/employees to make money and for gamblers to try their luck in playing.

and Abusers are not part of that so why do they need to be in concern here?

they must be caught and punished for everything they done .
2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 06:57:25 AM

now, I have a question, do you think the man is entirely at fault or someone should also be responsible?
It doesn't needed to know or blame who is at fault here but the idea that the funds is for the Covid 19 victims in which we knew how important to save lives? the fund must be returned and blame no one instead we need the action and response .

and besides He was contacted weeks after and as I am surely this man is an addicted gambler? the way he act on that wrong sending?  so it is understandable that he think it was a gift from heaven for him to continue gambling lol .
2328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: June 14, 2022, 09:19:53 AM
maybe they are against bitcoin at the moment to spike up, because obviously the market is dumping now and indeed we are in the bearish market .
and obvious that we are on the verge of dumping more from what we can see on this part .
20k? i am waiting for this now because my mid year bonus has been released and I am wanting to fund all this for Bitcoin so hope you will see this lowering like what market is showing now.
I have to say even 27k was a shock to me because it looked like we were getting a lot more accumulation, and that means that the more people start to collect up, the less there will be available in the market. Whatever is the liquidity in the market, is the decisive factor in the price movement.
So what more now mate that the price drops down to 21k? so you are more shocked and cannot believe in your eyes?

But that is the reality now mate and we have nothing to do but to wait the increase and never take part of the dumping by holding our coins.

Quote
When there are plenty available, that means we are seeing a ton of people willing to sell for a certain amount, but when it is not a lot, when it is a lot less, that means people are willing to hold and right now we are there. Doesn't mean it can't drop, like we have seen now it did, because some people may cash out, big amounts, but I believe it is still not an usual move.
It did mate,  the drops happened already and looks like there are so much participation from the community so the price really fell hard.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 14, 2022, 08:59:42 AM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?
i don't think it really matters because in Gambling 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin , not unless you are playing in Fiat , though there is a dollar value yet once you bet or deposit via bitcoin the value will remain as is.
Good impact ofcourse, some casinos convert units of bitcoin balance deposited into fiat. If the user makes a deposit before the price drops and leaves it, the bitcoins will accumulate indirectly. It is important to choose the type and company of the casino. If you are betting to accumulate the amount of bitcoins, value should no longer be a concern. Just choose a casino that sets your bet in bitcoin and vice versa.
It is correct , Because imagine if your winning in bitcoin now are in decreasing and all of a sudden bitcoin price climbed up? then all of your funds will profit also before withdrawals.
2330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Themed Provably Fair Casinos on: June 14, 2022, 08:30:58 AM
Do you prefer Themed provably fair casinos or not. By themed I mean like Tower bet or bitkong style. What are some of the best themed platforms? Any new ones?
Not sure if I checked bitkong but I think I have visited tower bet once, long time ago. I know this website is in dark color but what you mean by themed casinos is that you can change the color of the whole page?
Nah , it is the probability fairness of the casino that he is asking and not about the portal design/theme .

maybe he is asking for what the casino can give and if this is reasonable to trust for.

Quote
It looks cool but it doesn't matter to me at all. What I am only looking forward to a casino is if the games are responsive and the graphics are quite good enough but to some, they may like a specific color so maybe they will prioritize a casino like the one's you are talking about. If the site is too bright or too dark, we can still do a quick fix and that is by adjusting the brightness of the device that we are using. It works like a charm though.
and added is about the team behind the site responsible for their players , because what we can find in new casinos are in the beginning they are responsive but eventually as players coming ? they are missing in action specially in withdrawal issues .
2331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 14, 2022, 04:58:37 AM

Incode Technologies, a US-based specialist in biometric identity, has its age verification solution approved by the German Commission for the Protection of Minor in the Media (KJM).

‘Legal Certainty’ to Providers
The age verification solution provided by Incode Technologies verifies users against data from their ID cards, comparing their image on the card with a real-time selfie.

The technology facilitates the age verification process by providing guidelines to ensure the optimum scan of the ID card and photo of the user and once complete, the service performs tests to confirm authenticity and issues a score.

But I still wonder if this kind of technology is effective enough for those minors who use their parent's access accounts to gambling sites.  Will this be able to detect such action?  Will this kind of technology can trully protect minors and prevent them to access gambling sites?

[1] https://www.gamblingnews.com/news/incodes-age-verification-approved-for-protecting-minors-in-germany/
Hoping that my country will add this also because there are so much happening now in my city that Minor is even involving in crimes just to gain amount for gambling .

so if this protection will be conducted to young generation  so they cannot abuse the parents or even their oldies details to gamble and become addicted .
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the new NFT series? on: June 14, 2022, 04:30:03 AM
The NFT market is growing day by day. Projects like Cryptopunks and Ape have grown so much now. What could the new Ape be? We can share and be informed about the beautiful NFT series here.
This thread shows this for another conversation towards this post as the NFT being questioned as dying here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5401959.0

What I believe now? NFT is not a real thing nowadays and I also try to see this as a dumping projects and hope we will not fall into this trap again .
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 12, 2022, 11:16:58 AM
Hate to say it but no, it's not the end. Some idiots bought back their stolen Apes, so clearly they will still be ready to pour money into NFTs.

I did say for an entire year the bubble will burst and it already probably has, but we've got to understand ICOs never really went away, they just revived under different modus and different names.

Same shit's happening or will happen for NFTs.
Yes mate, Until there are some investors that wanted to shill for any projects that they wanted to blow up? then there will still movement like this so NFT will still progress this year and the next.

But hope that people now will be aware for what to come , because the chance of being Loser is there more than winning if you invest in legit and working currencies .
2334  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 12, 2022, 10:09:07 AM
But I am not sudden in that drop mate , actually i am satisfied on what bitcoin performed recently , because I've waited for long from the end of November last year till now for the price of bitcoin to lowered down .
and now i am satisfied because i have purchased today at 27k ., and maybe will hold my coins till 2025 or at least late 2024?

some of them are certainly experienced analysts.

Schiff makes calls on macro economic factors vs fiscal budgets and so on.   I know him from the 2008 crisis and he called that beforehand but he isnt a tech guy and doesnt especially have a great insight into crypto.    Same way I'd describe the constant downvote from Buffet, why would I care about his opinion when he is so happy to back government debt while they undermine the common workers wages with non stop money printing year in and out; he doesnt care about wages he has assets & all players have bias even the 'greats'
Moreover, many analysts are also against Bitcoin for a variety of reasons, thus, we shouldn't always take such analysis for granted, but in this scenario both analyst's predictions are correct so far, since we're slowly moving towards the $25.000 mark (Currently at ~27.500) and Ethereum currently trending at $1.450.
maybe they are against bitcoin at the moment to spike up, because obviously the market is dumping now and indeed we are in the bearish market .

2336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC goes below 30k after US inflation rate reports on: June 11, 2022, 11:31:11 AM
Inflation haven't left any countries, every country has been experiencing this. United States experiencing the worst inflation in its 40 years of history needs to be rectified. If I'm not wrong, during the last two years there is stagnation in growth all around, in particular very few corporate networks that provide online services reached big milestones. This stagnation out of the pandemic is getting reflected now on the market of fiat and cryptocurrency. For now even if price drops down to $25k isn't a surprise.
But bitcoin drops below 30k even before this inflation rate reports? so what is the question on that when it is proven that there are many issues that let this dumping happen and not just that inflation of US.
I believe that this inflation does not really represent the bearishness of market or even this recent fall , instead this is a continues effect of what is happening in the whole world economy and also with wars on going still now.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 11, 2022, 09:14:49 AM
According to research on online gambling behavior by GamblingAware,  slot gaming is more likely to cause problem gambling than sports betting and is heavily skewed towards the most deprived area.[1]
That is because Poor people are mostly to be wanted to gamble for easy money , this is the main objective and yes they are successful on that matter and now ? it is the time for the government to look unto this because there are so many cases happening to the people now that instead of gaining? they are continuously losing and yes , their life is becoming more miserable because of Slot machines and other form of gambling .
2338  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 11, 2022, 09:03:16 AM
Customer satisfaction, as other utents has said, should be the first goal for a new company. Also, a new company should provide a license, deposit and instant withdraw with stablecoins, these are the 3 key factor that allows

to a casino to have a good start, then, promotion, challenge and other forms of marketing will do a crucial role.

Names sometimes leave his time...
While Name is attracting players to check their Site yet it is indeed the satisfaction of customers is what the most priority here specially for gamblers like us who knows the ins and out of gambling .

several time that I encountered  playing In BS site that only cares about deposit but when withdrawals come? damn they will ask too much info .

2339  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN SCAM AND DIDNT LET ME WITHDRAW on: June 11, 2022, 08:20:48 AM
They already explained to you that they are experiencing high traffic of transaction and get back again or check it again after 24 hours. I believe it's still less than 24 hours, though it is understandable that you are frustrated as you can't withdraw immediately your money. I doubt that they would scam you and ruin their established reputation just of BTC0.0042.

Please keep us updated here.
His account was already Blocked mate that's why He thinks this is a scam attempt as after telling him 24 hours waiting , then 48 hours now he was blocked.

its already 32 hours and they have no update and the status withdraw hasnt, but now i cant login on my account because they blocked me they said im rude to them, i keep telling them, they must be up on something. the only thing i did was asked them about updates on my withdraeal now, all of a sudden they blocked my account,  they let me deposit and lose my hard earn money then it is like that they blocked me and got nothing in return

sorry for my bad english, im just not a native english speaker
You should not bring bad words or being rude because the support is still answering you , and yes that is only 48 hours that they are asking but still you kept asking them about your funds?

Maybe they will unblock you once the funds is ready but for now , maybe best to wait for a while .
2340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 10, 2022, 10:48:48 AM
I think this will never happen worldwide , maybe there is a chance that there are many countries that will put this into Law but there will always other country that will stand supporting Bitcoin mining as they can see the potential from this than a threat .
But still we cannot predict this to happen until it comes close as the environment needs to be healed and if Mining will continue damaging this? then that is the moment that world will take this into actions.
