I did not understand the technicalities behind crypto currencies development but as a trade I do feel litecoin is under value.my feeling come from the way others coins do increase in price since inception. I believe, very soon litecoin will become the next pumping coins.

What if a multi-billionaire organisation were to buy a large amount of bitcoin (for example 30%) only to destroy the private key associated to the wallet and brag about it all over the internet ?
First, would it be possible to prove the loss of the private key ? no
Second, How the market would react ?
If that will happen I expect the price to double or even bitcoin became known all over the world. 30% of bitcoin values is not much for only him or her to control the price or destroy the private keys of others wallet. I wish such things happen. |

I think without internet we could have had more peace and happiness in the world. Social media alone as a sector of the internet is being used to create crime all over the world. Free porn, jihadists recruitment, hacker and scamming activities are all done on internet. People could have been holy, just and righteous without internet. |

Am waiting for it to be added to the list of coins at poloniex and buy it if possible the first day. This is one of my trading strategy, buying coins immediately is being added to poloniex or cex.io as these are big exchangers that always course a new coins to spark in price. |

Maybe the increase is due to market demand, maybe it's time for bitcoin to fall again and also increase the price, therefore now many people who leave his job does not mean rising bitcoin price but increasing bitcoin users.
Raising in bitcoin price lately is not an indicator of people living there job and start to participate in bitcoin but because of it acceptability and increase in demand for bitcoin as some of us keep on buying and holding it as a store of values. People from my side also underestimate bitcoin but now they are pushing in. |

I think the biggest loses I have made is when I hard of bitcoin in 2012 when it price is below $100 I refused to invest and put about $1300 in binary option trading and lose the whole investment. I always see my not investing into bitcoin earlier than now as a lost to me. |

I'm new to crypto but not new to the banking/gov game.
What are you thoughts on the bankers/gov potentially controlling Bitcoin behind the scenes putting on a show oh how they are concerned about it?
They can print the fiat to buy bitcoins.
Its the electronic money/world currency they are so thirsty for.
The NSA has supposedly a back door to all our devices.
I think if bitcoin is the new banker currency it will explode higher as 7.5 billion people vs 21 million bitcoins means $$$$ to the early holders.
If Bitcoin is the alternative to the bankers/gov then it will explode higher as well due to the high percentage of people who want to be free from them.
Anyone who has attempted to not use the dollar Ghadaffi (gold Dinar) - Saddam (oil for Euros) have met a swift end.
Why are they not stopping (possible jail threats) it when they have shown they will go to extreme measures to stop competition.
Either way I see it going higher i'm just trying to get my head around why it has not been stopped.
Thoughts?
I think at the back end many Banker are buying bitcoin using fiat to have a stakes and then in future has control over bitcoin and crypto currencies. I keep on telling people that the best time to buying bitcoin is now as bitcoin is not even in the bubble yet. |

Bitcoin will make inflation disappear from most of the developing countries. Though they leaders are blind fold to the advent of bitcoin now but in future they will come to the an understanding that the only way to reduce the influence of dollars on their economic is through adoption of bitcoin.

Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now. Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins. But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost. Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?
I think you need to study how the market work as you cannot really make it in trading without adequate knowledge on fundamental and technical issues on the asset you are trading. Expecting bitcoin to fell to this in just a short time may not happen as you could have taken that opportunity last week. |

Do you mean if your bitcoin wallet get hacked? Because of the anonymous processing system, I doubt that you can find any insurance that will compensate you if your wallet get hacked!
For now it might not be possible but in future when people began to understand bitcoin and others crypto currencies it will become very possible for many insurance companies to pay one if it wallet is hack. Many things are being done at the back end to make bitcoin worthwhile and in future we would see positive results. |

People often tend to miss the point with such posts. Yes, I believe it is possible for Bitcoins to be valued at $10,000 USD or greater at some point in the future, but only because the USD is going to suffer from inflation. Not all of us are taking this into account. Bitcoin's value does not come from the USD at all. Let's stop making the comparison, for the sake of economics. It is not a substitute or a competitor of the USD either. It is *actual money*. The US dollar bills are debt slips. Bitcoin is based on supply and demand. It may or may not be the currency of the future, but cryptocurrency definitely is!
Exactly, "bitcoin may not be the currency of the future, but crypto currencies definitely is" is a reality we cannot push aside. Bitcoin according to the founding fathers " will become something valuable or nothing at all" we the enthusiast should always have this at the back of our minds. |

I think this is the ATH.  And this is awesome. Many business are leaning towards blockchain technology. $3,000 is oready in the pocket we are analyzing if it will get to $4000 before October. Many businesses are open up to blockchain and because of this moneyj, bitcoin price is at $2,822 now and we hope to get to $3,000 before the end of today or weekend. |
