1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: more FUD same result bitcoin in the red on: February 03, 2018, 02:23:27 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and of a truth did not demand governments endorsement for it to become legal. Bitcoin has proving that it can serve as a mode of payment for goods and services and a store of value more than any financial system around the world. If we most advance then people most see bitcoin as money and as money FUD should not be a reason why you are selling off but you are selling because you have store it for long and you want to take profit. Indian government is not banning bitcoin or other cryptocurrency but people that are using it for illegal means.
1442  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: UK Bitcoin Forum on: February 03, 2018, 10:10:09 AM
Hi Guys,

A new UK based forum has just been started. www.ukbitcoinforums.co.uk

Check it out
Is the forum only limited to UK or to every body all over the world? I ask this question because I am not from UK but love anything related to cryptocurrencies. If it is open to everyone I will like to be a member and share knowledge on the forum.
Bitcointalk and bitcoingarden has helped many bitcoin enthusiasts and we should open most of the forum to everyone as bitcoin is decentralized.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: February 02, 2018, 06:14:48 PM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?
I also supports this view that ethereum is the next cryptocurrencies to bitcoin core. Though bitcoin cash has tried to surpass ethereum in terms of pricing I think ethereum's  market capitalization is still the second biggest. I personally also prefer ethereum to other coins as the tokens contracts and most people are now using it to build their projects on ethereum network.
1444  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes and crypto. on: February 02, 2018, 05:10:34 PM
I believe governments do not deserve to tax earnings from cryptocurrencies. We are all seeing how government is attacking bitcoin as their see it as a scam and not something worthwhile.
Taxation on cryptocurrencies is very unfair and pay it to government is what I will find difficult to do. But if your minds condemned you about it then you should pay.
1445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone still think we'll see $100K this year? on: February 02, 2018, 04:24:16 PM
is there even one person out there who still thinks $100K this year is possible?  Undecided
$100k this year 2018 is still possible and I think bitcoin has a potential to go above that. For your information as at this time last year bitcoin was below  $1,000 and in the same year went as high as $20,000.
To me we should see January and February as a bad time to hold bitcoin and other cryptocurrences as price do fall within those time. I think any moment from next month we should start to see a very serious bullish trends like it happened last year.
1446  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🌍My Topic,Analysis,in which direction the movement is going BTC Up or Down🔑 on: February 02, 2018, 06:56:48 AM
I think this same bearish momentum will continue and until price fall below  $7,500. I think we all see this coming and many of us has say one thing here before this sell off.  Will bitcoin go up again? Of a truth it is going regain it position over other currencies. We have see that bitcoin get serious dump in 2013 and we are see another dump again.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Understanding corrections and why not to panic. on: February 01, 2018, 06:54:44 PM
Corrections in price of stocks, securities, forex and cryptocurrencies provide the best time for one to buy and during those accumulated time should be seeing as the time traders are taking profit from the recent upward movement.
Bitcoin as at the moment provide this best examples and to me we should not see this time as a clash or dieing of bitcoin but we should see it that long-term investors are taking profits from the last year trading.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin price again touch the 1000$ ? on: February 01, 2018, 06:09:07 PM
As some people predicted that bitcoin price will touch to 1000$ once.
Is that so?
Personally I am not believe but the way the price is going down makes me to think over it.
I will not pray for this and if it happen I will still be holding my coin. I believe in this technology and I think the volatility of it should not be what should be our concerns but bitcoin's adoptability. In reality  many people are in bitcoin today because of what they can get from it and they are using it as a channel of investment and not as a mode of payment for goods and services. Until we realized that bitcoin was actually created to be used as money and not investment opportunities we have not started yet.
You can buy and sell tokens and some coins but when it come to bitcoin you should trade with the aim of building blockchain technology that is going to replace our financial systems.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Flippening! Ethereum. on: February 01, 2018, 05:12:48 PM
While everybody was waiting for Bitcoin Core to be overtaken by Bitcoin Cash, the real killer crypto is actually doing it.
Billions of capital are rapidly flowing out of Bitcoin Core, into Ethereum!

For years Ethereum has been known to be the successor of Bitcoin Core, the market is only now realizing it.
I disagree with you as some of you said the same thing about ripple something ago and now ripple has honorably revise back to were it started from! Bitcoin core will ever remain the major coin in crypto currencies and nothing is going to change this. I have followed comments and analysis about reason why this coin is going to over take that but one thing that I have find out is that those people making such comments  undermine the power of bitcoin and the force behind it pricing.
I seriously believe that by this time next tomorrow we are going to see those calling ethereum the future of cryptocurrency singing another song!
1450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin.Bitcoin.Bitcoin!!!!!!!!! on: February 01, 2018, 01:08:46 PM
With the way things are going right now, Bitcoin is fighting to be stable at least in the vicinity of the
$10K level support and though we are wishing for it to make some surges the way it did in the last
quarter of 2017, that may not be happening soon (am willing to be surprised though).

This can be the scenario leading others to conclude that we are
about to experience a longer than expected bearish market or worst a Bitcoin winter season this early part of the year.

Are you still optimistic that within this quarter Bitcoin will surprise us with an unexpected rise or will it
retreat further?
This is actually a long than expected bearish and we did not really expect this to happen this way. I was thinking that bitcoin is going to stay above  $10,000 through out 2018 but the current move is actually surprising. Bitcoin might be heading towards  $7,500 and I am afraid it might get below that value. If we continued to see this down fall many are going to sell out of panic that is going to surprise most of us.
Though dumping has been happening every January and February of every year but the rate that this year own is currently happening is quite alarming. If we continued seeing this every year then we should prepare for this occurrence in advance next year.
1451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Smile! There are no worst possible scenarios. We've already survived the worst! on: February 01, 2018, 12:31:46 PM
I don't think bitcoin is passing through the worst conditions and I always saying that this market is highly unpredictable. This is a sign that bitcoin is not a market that can be control by few  people but it has it own personal emotions and it react to the world events.
We expect a bance back in March as it has been happening every year. January has never been good in the history of bitcoin and we should not expect this year to be different.
1452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing rules on: January 31, 2018, 07:24:30 PM
My golding rule is never invest the money I cannot afford to lose into cryptocurrency! I stand with this rule as if my life depending on it.
Most of the rules you have listed are all good and for you to become a successful traders you most become fully follow those rule with complete accuracy. I have loss some money some years ago because of neglecting my trading rules and follow some thought that comes into my mind.
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could loose 90% of its value on: January 31, 2018, 05:51:25 PM
Wall Street veteran Peter Boockvar warns that Bitcoin could loose 90% of its value

Wall Street veteran Peter Boockvar predicts an epic crash will hit the cryptocurrency market.

He isn't sure if it'll come to a grinding halt or be a slow and steady drop — but he says it's coming.

Boockvar, chief investment officer at Bleakley Advisory Group, is certain crypto is in a giant bubble, and the air is already coming out.

"When something goes parabolic like this has, it typically ends up to where that parabola began," he said on CNBC's "Futures Now."

Boockvar, a CNBC contributor, contends bitcoin is in danger of dropping 90 percent from current levels. He calls it a classic bubble.

"I wouldn't be surprised if over the next year it's down to $1,000 to $3,000," he added.

Once the cryptocurrency market cracks, he contends, investor attitudes toward risk assets will change. According to Boockvar, the stock market could see collateral damage, but it would all be based on psychology — not on anything that's fundamentally wrong with the economy.

Boockvar thank you for your view but I don't expect bitcoin to loose up to that value. I have been thinking that the current bearish market is about to be over. I think we should not follow most of this stocks traders' speculators as they are not always bring into consideration the fundamentals and technical fact about bitcoin and crypto currencies in particular.
1454  Economy / Economics / Re: As long as you convert your crypto to fiat, we will never go mass adoption on: January 31, 2018, 05:18:50 PM
People! please don't look at crypto as an ez money maker, and please don't convert to fiat, I would suggest to USE it rather than spend it.
The next time you pay for something, always encourage them to accept crypto. If they refuse, then so be it, but what you're doing is the effort so that many people will hear about it, and maybe the next time someone asked them to receive payment through crypto, maybe they will change their mind and try it.

This is how your transfer the market cap from fiat to blockchain and this is how you realize true gain, your 10 coins valued at let's say 100$ can go to the moon if more people would switch to crypto.
Please please please, we want a future with just peer to peer txion, F the middle man!
I have reason along this line too and I think we should keep our financial assets in bitcoin for it to actually look like money and make serious sense when approaching those that may like to use bitcoin as a mode of payment for goods and services. I have been saying that until we treat bitcoin as money we may not see it been adopted.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Freedom for ICOs?!?! on: January 31, 2018, 03:01:18 PM
Hi,

Nowadays thousands of ICO companies come into the world and die! The problem is that big part of those ICOs are means of just getting money and nothing else. It causes lack of trust and people are afraid of investing their money in ICOs.

But there are many very interesting ICOs with high potential and ready product, which suffer from widespread opinion that majority of ICOs are scammers.

E.g. KickCity is a company that has existed for two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion. Such companies shouldn't meet obstacles because of scammers!?

What is your opinion on modern ICO regulations and investors' attitude to ICOs?

P.S. all mentioned above is my personal opinion and I glad to hear any attitude  Smiley

In as much as many projects developers used ico to raise fund and many of them are scams, we should not rule out the beauty of some of them. I promote many of them and some of them have done well and many of them remain the best projects in 2017 . I have not come across the one that you have listed and I will try to study them before investing.
1456  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL or SODL? on: January 31, 2018, 12:48:59 PM
What is your trading strategy right now?
I WILL SAY you should wait a bit to see what is going to happen  with Bitcoin price and see how the price will rally round  $10,000. I think if Bitcoin Break above  $10,250  next time then we should expect to see this as a last bearish market. We should also look at $10,250 to be able to buy .
Price below  $10,000 should not be seeing as buying opportunities as price may still fall as far as it is under $10,000.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coincheck Hack steal XEM on: January 31, 2018, 11:18:09 AM
the hackers can not pay out the stolen xem  Grin
I have been trying to understand why most of hackers have sifted they scamming activities to cryptocurrencies. I was thinking that xem is one of the safest cryptocurrencies and their wallets and network is safe but I am surprised about this news.  Why didn't all this network be secure from this hacking activities.
1458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the main reason for the bitcoin price? on: January 31, 2018, 10:21:15 AM
Because  news or futures or ...etc^^?

Thank you for answer Kiss

Bitcoin price is determined by the forces of demand and supply and we should be able to understand how things work in under to make profit from it. If you can go through order book and  be able to interpret it you will find out that when ever the demand for Bitcoin is high the supply will also be high and when it is down the price will also be down.
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your biggest concerns regarding Cryptocurrencies? on: January 30, 2018, 09:10:42 PM
I want to write an article about this and I've been asking around.

So far, I've found:

* Fraud and scammers
* Government taking over
* Scalability and governance

How about you guys?

Governments taking over!  I have been having this fear because of the way things are going. If we look at the mode of regulations that governments are bring on the table we would find out that majority want to take over bitcoin and others cryptocurrency. The beauty of the cryptocurrency is becouse it is decentralized therefore if this is taking out of the place it means governments has taken over.
1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke bottom of triangle. Deep crash ahead. on: January 30, 2018, 08:57:22 PM
I did not expect what has happened as I have been encouraged some of my friends to hold there coins. I think the current deep is as a result of facebook banning of bitcoin and others cryptocurrency ad! There is also a lot of uncertainty from Asia market and I think this time around bitcoin might touch $8,500.
