As per subject header, I noted that the price quoted on localbitcoins is much higher that the actual BTC price.
An example, as of now: BTC is trading at (my country Singapore) S$23,900 but on localbitcoins, sellers are quoting S$26,000 plus.
Why so? I do understand that there is a TX fee and some profit margin for the seller, but S$3000+?
I might as well buy from coinbase and sell BTC at localbitcoins to make a profit..??
Since you can buy from coinbase and sell at localbitcoin in Singapore and make some money why not embark on that? At local bitcoin one can easily change his bitcoin to fiat through local exchangers and since people find it difficult to pay for goods and services in Singapore they have to make exchange to Singaporeans dollars before use the value and this will definitely rise the exchange value. |

I was remembering the good old times and saw this:  Back then, a lot of people sold their bitcoins, and never came back. These people are of course hating themselves for life. People like this:  This guy saw a huge, unsustainable bubble at $15, the price went as high as $30+ before the correction. These are the type of guys that are perma-bears and hate people that held it and will try to make you dump just to feel better about how wrong they were. And also realize how the % of volatility has went down a lot, even with the current ups and downs. Study the price and the perspective that people had back then to get a better picture. This reminds me when many traders were trying to take profits then when the market was going down and some of us were speculating that bitcoin price is going to get to $30 but now bitcoins is now above $16,000 and many are still saying bitcoin has reached the peak. The reality is that bitcoin is still at the foundation level and a lot need to be done and holding for you to liberates yourself from poverty and slavery that fiat system has created for our society. |

Charlie Lee said "correction is underway" therefore the best time to sell your holding and buy cheap again is now. Litecoin even went as high as $365 last night making over 68% gained in just 24 hours. I think the high corrections is underway as this current pump may push litecoin's price below $100 where the current trends started from. Bitcoin cannot be a scam coins and I think we need to have little patience as this networks conjunction problems should be resolved and that is why we are advocating for scaling as the network is too narrow and a lot of demand for bitcoin currently. Now that somebody will buy a token from there site with the bid and ask price post there and the same transaction will be said scam. I believe bitcoin Cash is going to be next to bitcoin and currently in market capitalization only ethereum among other coins that is high than bitcoin Cash but in pricing bitcoin Cash is next to bitcoin core.
