23321  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: December 02, 2016, 07:52:19 AM
It is very easy to say something like this. But it is very difficult to implement them in real life. I never had Bitcoin holdings of more than BTC0.1. Whenever my holdings got above a certain threshold, I sold them for fiat. Don't have much of an option, as I am facing a cash crunch.
23322  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: December 02, 2016, 07:48:36 AM
I have been scammed by many users many times because I had been so gentle to all of them and whenever they asked for some loans as a help, I gave them and they never returned them back. I could have easily given away more than 2 bitcoins in just loans, and even few were my friends.

Be nice to everyone. That is good. But don't be stupid.

No one will advice you to refrain from giving out loans to others. But at the same time, you must ask for some collateral in return. Giving out a loan without collateral is the stupidest thing that a Bitcoiner can do.
23323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2016, 07:43:36 AM
For me, the following are the biggest disadvantages:

1. Confirmation time
2. Lack of acceptability
3. Volatile exchange rates
4. Difficulty in storing them
5. Increasing transaction fee
23324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 02, 2016, 07:39:51 AM
Yes that is a good point but we are all responsible for our own actions at the end of the day.

The harm effect on other people from ones drug use are normally associated with the drug user having to find the money to purchase illegal drugs, if the addict could just go to the local chemist and pick up what he needs then he would not be harming anyone but himself and even that is debatable .
Sure, it would break the chain.
The drugs would be more affordable and easy to get in any pharmacy, less people would resort to theft and borrowing from gangsters to fuel their addiction. They'd be getting pure product instead of some unknown and sometimes deadly chemicals. Gangsters would lose their main income and governments would get more money from taxes.

Apart from this, it has been proven that legalization and regulation lowers the level of drug addiction. For example, in Portugal, the number of drug users declined after the government legalized all sort of drugs in 2001.
23325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikipedia Donation Campaign and still no Bitcoin on: December 02, 2016, 07:37:52 AM
For me the main reason is that it is quite hard to convert it to fiat. Talking about that, I find them too greedy. They're doing more and more fund raising campaigns, and I don't like that pretty much.

Yes.... From 2011 or 2012, they started all these fundraisers. And the worst thing is that they never audit their expenses for various campaigns. No one knows where the money is going. I will never donate any of my coins to Wikipedia.
23326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: December 02, 2016, 07:35:00 AM
In the beginning it was estimated that most bitcoin trading volume was for the dark market. Now not so much. It didn't stop bitcoin then and it wont stop it now.

NO.

That is wrong information. In the beginning, the vast majority of the Bitcoin transaction volume was accounted by the online gambling sites (especially Satoshi-dice). I am not sure about the proportion which was directed towards the dark markets, but I assume that it was less than 10% of the total volume.
23327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Erdogan: Turkish forces are in Syria to end Assad's rule on: December 02, 2016, 06:50:39 AM
Russian Federation will attack not Turkish troops in Syria, under any sauce.
There is a unit aganst friendly fire.

There will not be any direct confrontations between the Turkish and the Russian troops. But proxy wars are possible. FSA on the Turkish side, and SDF and SAA on the Russian side. They are already clashing over the control of Al Bab (north-east of Aleppo).
23328  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New ISIS in Former Ukraine on: December 02, 2016, 06:48:38 AM
The Kiev junta is playing with fire. An enemy of the enemy is not always a friend. If the junta allows the Crimean Tatar and Chechen Islamists to operate on its territory, then in the long term it will be detrimental for the native population.
23329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: December 02, 2016, 06:46:19 AM
Hell no. It's very inhumane act. No reason will be considered to do this act. God created a lot of edible things for people to consume. He even give us knowledge and capabilities to satisfiy our cravings.

Your blind allegiance to the religion makes you incapable of doing rational thinking. Anyway... it is your choice. If you want to get martyred for standing up to your beliefs, then no one is stopping you from doing that.
23330  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: December 02, 2016, 06:40:38 AM
If they are in Foreign lands (Non-Muslim countries), then, they have no right to ask for such thing. They must impose Shari'a on themselves, not others. On the other hand, If they are in a Muslim country (where Muslims are the majortiy), they have to impose Shari'a on Muslims and Non-Muslims and to ban the non-halal food (like Pork, Wine and Alcoholic drinks). That's what Islam told Muslims to do.

Had things stayed like what you had posted, then no one would have complained. On the other hand, we have radical groups in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, which want to impose the Shariah law. They have also attacked shops selling non-Halal meat. Obviously, this is going to provoke a negative reaction from the native population.
23331  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 02, 2016, 06:37:52 AM
It not only destroys them. It gives them the false values and goals in life. They believe that Islam / religion need to fight.

The same can be said about most of the modern religions, such as Judaism and Christianity. The ultimate aim of these religions is the same. They want to increase the number of adherents, and once that aim is achieved, they will seize power.

However if you take a broad look at this, it seems that once "JudeoChristian" "seizes power" the result is a tolerant society.

On the other hand, once "Islam seizes power" a totalitarian darkness spreads over that land.

This must say something about the belief set.

Yes. I will agree with that. For example, when I compare countries where the church is actively interfering with the government policies (such as South Korea and Philippines) with those which are under the Shariah rule (such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar), it is clear that the former bunch is more tolerant.
23332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you also think that USA is the biggest plague of the world? on: December 02, 2016, 06:35:19 AM
I think there are some bigger plagues like those hordes of migrants in Europe stealing and raping.

No. The biggest plague is the US and its NATO alliance, which provokes civil war and conflict in third world countries such as Syria and Iraq. Had they stayed out of the middle-east, then the refugee influx would have never occurred.
23333  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fidel Castro Dies at 90. Today is the day Cuba is .. on: December 02, 2016, 06:33:43 AM
I dont see why you guys hate Castro and communism this much, communism is the future
Also, i dont think any drastic changes will be made under his brother, both of them think alike
Crypto currencies would not survive under communist rule as it is free market capitalism. Internet censorship is also very widespread in communist countries. Why is it the future and why should the Bitcoin community support communism?

All those who support ideologies such as communism and socialism are lazy welfare rats, who want to leach off hard-working people. The same is the case here as well. Those who don't want to work, will support communism.
23334  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Blacks are the least intelligent race on the Earth on: December 02, 2016, 06:31:15 AM
If you replace white and black child, and white child send to Africa, and black to America, who will be smarter than?
What do you think?
If you give them equal opportunity, you will find out that blacks are intelligent and smart as any white man.

I have already posted evidence to counter your claim. Check this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1696031.msg17037672#msg17037672

Black children adopted by white foster-parents have lower IQ, when compared to white children adopted by white foster-parents. Now do you admit that it is hereditary?
23335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 100% water-powered car on: December 02, 2016, 06:28:10 AM
wont it be great if a small wind mill can be installed that it  can power the whole car in a new level .

Oh god... this is the craziest post I've ever read in Bitcointalk. There are 2 billion cars in the world right now. You want to install 2 billion windmills to provide electricity for all these vehicles? Do you think that there is enough space for all of them?
23336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "Progress" Space Ship seems Lost after Start. on: December 02, 2016, 06:25:43 AM
This will be a serious blow to the Russian space program. During the past 2-3 years, a number of the Russian space launches have ended in failure. They should seriously look in to this issue, and rectify the issues before it worsen any further.
23337  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jew-Bendera illegal missile firing drills on: December 02, 2016, 06:24:09 AM
In other words, Russia will do every so that Ukraine does not repeat the shoot-downs, like the 2001 Siberian Air Flight SBI1812 over Crimea and 2014 Malaysian Airlines Flight NH-17 over Donbass.

Even I had forgot about the Siberian Air Flight. Good that you brought it up. It has been established that the Ukrainian military shot down this civilian passenger jet, killing all the 78 individuals on board. Also, the Ukrainian government is yet to pay any sort of compensation to the Siberian Airlines company.
23338  Economy / Economics / Re: China is stocking up on gold on: December 01, 2016, 12:02:19 PM
The Chinese are wise. A huge bottleneck in gold supply is coming up, and the market prices are going to zoom up very soon. Anyway, investing in gold is much better than investing in the Chinese Yuan (which is no better than toilet paper).
23339  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: December 01, 2016, 12:00:24 PM
Eaten of human, men that is not option for for me to eat my fellow human but if i do not know the meat maybe i can eat it but if know i can not try it no matter what.

Sitting in the comfort of your home, with enough food stacked up nearby, I don't expect anyone to say otherwise. But things can get really ugly, if you end up in a deserted island or some other place where the food is not available.
23340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 01, 2016, 11:55:29 AM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.

Well thats very hard if you buy drugs with bitcoin you can easily be traced by the government dude

It is not that easy for the government to trace you, but still the risks are there. For example, imagine that the vendor is co-operating with the government. He will be having your shipping address and the government will be able to nab you if they can get this information.
