I regret having sold 6 bitcoin several months ago, I think prices will continue to fall but bitcoin several weeks after I sell price is thus increased. And now I have to buy bitcoin again and I will hold for a long time or price reach $2000 or more.
There's nothing to regret if you have made profit selling your bitcoins, you can buy now and hold for more years, that way you will make more profit. It's all about the right timing mate, you just have to stay patient if you are really waiting for a good price to hit before you sell. Indeed you should not even have than regret because you made profit, selling bitcoins is never good when you have the feeling you can make profit but on the other hand profit stays profit no matter what. It is not about never selling your bitcoin it is about waiting that some day you are able to use your bitcoin like real money,but the problem is we are not sure what the future of bitcoin is so holding all of your bitcoin is a bad idea , i would suggest that you spend half of it and keep the other half so if shits goes down you won't regret it
Well you were partly right. Well for me I will save my Bitcoin because it might generate a great profit since more and more people are getting engaged in bitcoin meaning that the demand is getting higher and higher and the price will soon to be pumped. It is reasonable to wait if it will double or tripl your bitcoin holdings isn't it ? Rather than spending it in a nonsense stuffs. Op idea is clear enough for me and I do agree if you just holding until the time when you can use bitcoin daily and easier accepted payment everywhere, I think you wouldn't get losses of it since people keep investing and have faith in bitcoin, moreover the supply always decrease but the price should raise. If you already set to sell your coins at certain price (ex:$800-1000) is not problem to gain some profits convert into fiat, but what the point if you will buy bitcoin again but at higher price such as when you sell them or have to wait until bitcoin crash happen and the price fall down to buy again which we expected not to happen anymore due to hacked problem. |

Because when you buy smth for btc then you sort of sell btc and take that other thing. And in this situation btc is to become self-sufficient value. But why should we have monwy we don't spend? It just leads to nothing.

Remember that you will only have a chance to make profit when you sell so there's no reason why not sell it. We hold in the future but it should have a definite time and that is part of our investment plan. We have to follow that no matter what. |

It is very easy to say something like this. But it is very difficult to implement them in real life. I never had Bitcoin holdings of more than BTC0.1. Whenever my holdings got above a certain threshold, I sold them for fiat. Don't have much of an option, as I am facing a cash crunch.

Same here, everytime i spend or sell my bitcoins for fiat i say that next time i will save them, but again when i have some bitcoins and i need cash then again i sell them because i have no options at all, i have no jobs in real world so i have to do that. |

If you do not sell and hold them for the long term, you could have been quite rich by now. The price has risen many times. Right. If we stock/save before our btc its value now may be doubled or tripled by now. However there are really circumstances that even we want to hold into it there are times we need to slipped things away for better. And thats what happen on my btc. I buy new phone from it. |

Well, I'm putting some efforts to hold it. It's not an easy thing, since difficult-to-predict situations make us sell part of it, but lately I've been struggling to predict such situations. I think selling Bitcoins at this time would be a decision that would not make much sense, since the market conditions are quite favorable to make Bitcoin price reach new heights.

One quality of any currency is its ability to be exchanged so no matter what at some point you might need to sell some bitcoins for fiat. You can only control the rate at which you exchange do as not to pay high taxes but you can't totally runaway from selling you bitcoins at some point.
