igotspots abandoned and aggressively dumped spots, and after YoBit post (now exactly above this my post) i've read forum.bits about yobit coins... and... voila! igotspots was there with his dirty hands: forum.bits.media/index.php?/topic/14885-yovi-yobitvirtualcoin-5-pos-rom/#entry286681
Lol, you're crazy. These dudes asked me years ago if they could take it over and I said yes. I don't even use Yobit and don't particularly even like them, which is obvious with even minimal research into it

Set up a graph to visually explain what I mean about how the caps will shift with the block height. You will see the lower cap is easier to attain the longer we go and how the reward is capped much faster than supply will inflate http://www.freestaking.com/stake.html

This is where the Minting tab will come in handy now ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Ya except if your like me and recombine your inputs alot to maximize compounding then it shows all the inputs that never staked which now in my wallet is like 200 different transactions so its useless. Make a new wallet.dat and import the key or send to a new address in a new wallet.dat to clear it up

Ok awesome so should I update my windows wallet now even though the fork takes place at block 500,000 or does it do it automatically ?
It will not do it automatically. You should update as soon as possible

With the new wallet do we still have to recombine the coins back together from time to time? When the coins splitted too small to stake.
Yes, they will still auto-split the same as they do now and that may put them below the threshold. I have not adjusted splits at all; that would be too much to change at once and would confuse people You can monitor your input sizes via the Minting Tab or by using Coin Control in the Send Tab. Coin Control is also where you can manually combine ONLY THOSE BELOW, as well. All the tools are here to monitor and manually control your coins as much, or as little, as you like

Okay, got it, my question is I see it says if your coinage is less than 10,000 you only get a stake of 1 cube. How would you control the coinage at which your coin stakes at ? You can use reservebalance=999999999 You can put that in conf file to stop your coins from staking, or you can encrypt it and lock with a passphrase; wallets cannot stake if fully locked If you have 5000 CUBE, for example, you will need 2 days worth of coin age to get 2000%, so you would want your wallet non-staking for two days

Thank you for the fix. The download for ARM (Pi) is now working. 😉 No problem. Let me know if it works, StakeBox actually put that wallet together for us. We have a lot of nice collaborations going so far Speaking of which, I will hopefully have a new one to announce very soon ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Alright, I've got the fork done. I'll be posting a Windows wallet shortly, updating Github, and then getting new wallets done for ARM (Pi), Mac, and Android in the new few days Uploading a new bootstrap right now, as well, that is current up to block 354000 I haven't uploaded the new source, yet, but I've updated the README to show major changes. Please let me know if there's anything else I should add. I will update the OP sometime shortly, going to take it all down while we do this switch https://github.com/DigiCubeCrypto/DigiCube/blob/master/README.mdDigiCube Version 1.2 Windows wallet and bootstrap up to Block 354k are now here: http://www.freestaking.com/downloadsReload the page if you have been here before because I just uploaded them now do i need to install this or can i use the old wallet for now ? cause im on holliday cant acces my wallet atm (and stakes will still come ? ) Update as soon as possible, but you're good until block 500k. This is why I set it so far ahead, so exchanges and all users would have time to update on a nice round number of 500k

When do you plan on implementing the fork, what block number?
Block 500k so we can start with an even 10,000 minimum point and a max reward of 5000 This will be a great chance for people to start inflation charts with nice, round numbers
|
|
|
Looks like the YES's have it for the fork So, this is what I'm working on:- Minimum Coin Age to stake at 2000% must be > 2% of block number
- Under this threshold = 1 CUBE per block (encourages users to combine coins or hold a minimum amount)
- Stake Reward per block now has a maximum. All stake rewards will now be < 1% of the block number (Hard Capped Max of 1% of block number)
- Will also be redoing a lot of the icons and general look to improve Android GUI for large screen displays such as an HDTV
Thoughts on new specs?
