Too bad that the CUBE will not be on bittrex. iGotSpots, try to talk with Richie and solve the problem. Maybe there is still a chance. There's a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation; there will not be a resolution

"The SEC" won't be investigating anyone one in the crypto currency market. It's not their jurisdiction The Securities Act of 1933 describes securities as things we all understand to be securities: notes, bonds, stocks, etc. Bitcoin, it's clones and virtually ALL alternative digital currencies are initially generated not by an investment of money, but by expending computer resources or (mining) Therefore all cryptographic currencies are commodities. When digital currrency derivatives begin to surface, this will give "the SEC" some jurisdiction. Until then, they're absolutely powerless in this market. An example would be the attempted BTC shakeout a week ago on BitFinex where someone used around $3 million to try and break the price below $450, but Bitstamp, Coinbase, and others refused to follow their manipulation.
It was not an "attempted shakeout," actually it's funny that you think someone would execute a $3mill transaction with the sole intent of "shaking someone out" of the market. Hilarious Someone sold $3mill worth of coin on Finex.. That's it. It happens... I'm not saying that there isn't manipulation taking place, because there clearly is. But there are many individuals holding $1mill+ worth of BTC who aren't part of this manipulation ring. That "shakeout" that you make reference to, was merely a single actor who decided to cash out. Hence why there wasn't a universal move across the rest of the exchanges Nailed it. Cryptocurrencies arn't regulated by the SEC. Bitcoin in New York, is regulated by the BitLicence - but Poloniex is not based in New York and doesn't accept NY customers (this is why they brought in all that FYC stuff last year - to make sure they weren't dealing with New Yorkers). How much do you want to bet that Tristan (busoni) is actually in NY and not in Montana? I'll let you decide how much you wanna lose

mine is up max within 10 mins. i also keep the detachdb option on
it's not syncing at all during that time, connecting and disconnecting, when actually reading blocks everything goes fast enough my suggestion to you, that you must sell your calculator and buy one real computer thanks, i better wait for another rollback or chainhalt and we'll smile together With Bittrex gone, I think you'll be waiting a long time for any other issues

Folks investing in this, you have been warned and I suggest you do some research on block reorgs before you get burned investing in junk.
what a discovery, we'v been warned since the beginning, when it was forking and reorganizing like crazy, even in cascades. and it's sync process is not like any coin out there ever since. if not those 2k % many folks wouldn't even touch it, but in the end nothing is more valuable than personal experience Now you're just making things up really ? i told you then i got ~12 forks in couple of hours trying to sync,of course all that crap eventually reorganised and vanished to nothingness but every time i start the wallet it takes 20-30 min to get stable fix on the network, if i'm lucky it's 5-10 min (once in 5 times). depends on how long the wallet was offline, the more the longer is that process. simply got used to it Impossible because there are checkpoints every few blocks lol at least make your bullshit believable Not to mention, https://github.com/DigiCubeCrypto/DigiCube/blob/master/src/checkpoints.cpp#L33 the hardcoded checkpoints that it is literally impossible to not hit

I am happy that this coin is attracting attention. Is automatically block-chain rectification a unique characteristic of DIGICUBE? Hopefully we never have to find out lol Luckily it's not that bad since only one site had issues. The good news is that, like you said, it totally handled the situation on its own without me or anyone else needing to fix it. So I guess it's a good thing in the end that proves this works What on earth are you talking about, "one site had issues" "proves this works" It looks c-cex had the same issue but no deposits during that time otherwise they would have lost coins too. People buying this coin must be insane to not understand what happened on your network. People are relying on a coin to be trusted, a huge block rollback that invalidates CONFIRMED transactions is just ludicrous. lol @ blaming an exchange for your shitty code. Tips to you and all the lemmings who have no clue how shitty this coin is. Your "feature" is actually a huge bug that will come and bite others eventually. Folks investing in this, you have been warned and I suggest you do some research on block reorgs before you get burned investing in junk. Feel free to look through the source yourself, if this coin has problems then there are many, many others that will have worse problems since it's based very heavily on PPC and I am a lot better at this than most people who post coins. It's cool to see Richie expanding past being just a wallet-manager and actually getting into how coins work, though, evolution is key But what do I know, I've only made hundreds of these coins Richie, get your shit together and just delist it already, we're all sick of hearing about problems (only) Bittrex is having by now. By the way, you should start looking at the tens of other coins I have made that are on your site then because if it really is a coin problem, as you suggest, I would hate to be trading so many that I've made for other people if they're all so vulnerable. Kinda funny what Bill said a few months ago about you, specifically, needing help with coin problems that come up Richie. Funny how my opinion is valued when it agrees with yours, isn't it? I've still got the email copied if you need a reminder Gonna be fun watchin this bridge burn. I got the matches, you guys bring the gas

Nice one spots we do have another exchange we are listed on https://empirex.ch/it is not very busy. but with some support it could improve. maybe add to web so more visit. have a nice day all Yes, I was trying to find a few lines to put in their description for that box. They will be replacing Bittrex in the wallet ;p

|

I appreciate all of you sticking through this bullshit. Hopefully we can all rally together and keep creating something very special here
With that said, I still have plenty of room to add new stuff to the wallet tab. If anyone wants to make something for CUBE, just shoot me the link and I will add it to the Qt
THIS CAN BE DONE WITHOUT A WALLET UPDATE, I CAN UPDATE THE 'ON THE WEB' TAB COMPLETELY LIVE WITHOUT REQUIRING NEW DOWNLOADS OR UPDATES

Wish I had better news for you. I guess to Bittrex, delisting the coin and ignoring the issue is a more appropriate response than actually figuring out and fixing what happened

It appears that the CUBE wallet has been removed from bittrex, so the almost 80K I uploaded are now lost :-(
They never opened that wallet back up so we could withdraw like they said they would.
What ? thats a bit shady of Bittrex ! We should getting a running total of how many coins have disappeared at Trex. I still had 6000 CUBE at Bittrex. It's not as much as what you had there @CaptainMAD, but I had hoped they would at least return the coins to their rightful owners. No coins have disappeared and the wallet hasn't been removed. Not sure why you think that. We have disabled the market and the wallet is now open for withdrawal. The wallet will be removed on 6/5. Please withdraw your funds by then. thanks, richie@bittrex I have lost all faith in this place

I'm pretty sure it will be just fine

Will be working on a change for CIONZ this weekend. I've already spoken with Yuriy about this change. It won't be getting delisted from C-CEX, don't worry

Like I said earlier, all the money flowing to useless ICO should be flowing to this coin instead. People say my biggest problem is not being good at promoting to this target market, so if the community helps me with that, we should reach the sky in no time

look now spot is it ok ?
01:35:31 getcheckpoint

Excellent, proof that the checkpoint server is working the SECOND I turn it back on Thanks for perfect timing ;p

This is the last recent checkpoint, I have turned them off for people to check for syncing earlier today

Now Bittrex is saying the entire network has forks
Everyone do me a favor.. check if you're synced, if you are POST, if you're not POST
Richie, pay the fuck attention to these results, man, because you don't believe a word I'm saying. Maybe when the entire fucking network, other than your site, agrees, you will finally fucking listen to what I'm trying to tell you
|
|
|
damn spots you did it again lol
I didn't do anything except provide a secure blockchain that kicked out the fork, saving everyone (except one site) from any damages or losses
