2342  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HUWAG MONG SAYANGIN ANG TIME MO NA DI KA MATUTO DITO SA BITCOINTALK ng Bitcoin on: October 11, 2018, 11:41:55 PM
First thing first ika nga..
Wow! Isa ka pala sa mga early birds sa forum and crypto world as well. I can't imagine how rich you are now disregarding the fact pa na meron ka ng malaking mining set up ngayon Shocked. Congrats sayo sir, I hope marami kang matulungan and more blessings to come.

Thanks for guidance Smiley.
2343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't start your day by checking the price of bitcoin in the morning. on: October 11, 2018, 09:56:44 PM
Question for viewers, if an investor is struggling with this addiction (checking the price of bitcoin daily), what steps do you suggest he uses to overcomes it.
In my case, I don't have to overcome anything at all because I'm not a so called "addict" but for those who struggling then don't worry too much. There is nothing bad if you're very conscious about the market price because it's natural for an investor. But if you're addiction is up to extent that you check the market price every minute despite of being a hodler only then you now have a psychological problem (probably an OCD). Consult thr doctor.
If I'm not mistaken, what you are doing is you advertise the other topics you made. This is my first time to see something like this. If I were you, I will delete it since it is not mecessary at all Smiley.
2344  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BOUNTY MANAGERS !!! on: October 10, 2018, 04:17:52 AM

@OP ~ You could also add Zapo. Dalawa pa lang ang nahahandle nyang sig campaigns as far as i know pero marami na agad ang bumilib sa kanya bilang manager. He meticulously pick participants, very punctual when it comes to the payments and he is kind too.
2345  Other / Meta / Re: Searching for posts with Google, interesting results... on: October 09, 2018, 11:22:01 PM

It's OK that it gives me far more results but it's not really interesting from my point of view when I'm searching for plagiarism... I'm looking for the exact same result
That one really sucks, I know what you feel Sad. I'm also struggling every time I want fo prove one's post is plagiarized. I always see newbies who made long and well-grammared posts but if you will take a look into his profile, his way of posting is not consistent which for me is very intriguing. But in the end, I just let them pass by even I really don't want to because I fail to find any proof for my accusation after digging Google.

That's why I salute those users who persistently dig just to report those who commits plagiarism.

Though searching to Google works sometimes (like for this one, and here's the reference. I hope someone know a better way of finding the reference of a particular plagiarist?

u will learn a big lesson and be happy u did your best than following a footstep u know nothing about
If that big lesson also means big lose then it's not as simple as that. We are all talking about money here — a vital part of human. In reality, you can't say "Nah, nevermind" when you lose money (unless you're very rich), it means a lot to you because you are depending on it for sustatining your daily living. Furthermore, let go, move on then continue to be positive is also very hard to do when you lose money especially those bigger amounts that is why you should avoid committing mistakes as much as you could. If you made something wrong then make it last as well, always set your mindset on that manner. Yeah! I know that nobody's perfect but I'm pretty sure that you don't want your journey as a crypto investor was full of downs, right? Of course you aim to be the best at all times Smiley.
2347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: October 08, 2018, 02:23:28 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
The closest reason I think is because of greed of money, of course Undecided. But aside from that, I think the other reason why they prefer hacking is because it is their field of expertise. In other words, they are just using the thing where they are good at for achieving personal intentions. They can hide their identity, their location and all of their bad deeds providing no traces at all so there's no need for them to feel fear. That's why they're continuing to rob other's money — they are confident that no one can stop them.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
I bet that will not work for almost of them. Even me, who is not a criminal at all don't believe in karma Grin. So sInce it seems that giving them advices will not work at all then now just leave the job to the hands of our law. Pretty sure that they will make a realization of what they did right after experiencing the cold bars of prison.
2348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: October 08, 2018, 09:47:52 AM
For me, bounty campaigns could possibly die if devs of ICOs do not find this forum efficient for advertising anymore which is really near to come since our forum is getting more infested by the spammers/shitposters as time goes by. On the other hand, I don't even think that ICOs will die so easily unless crypto will fade too. Even though hundreds of ICOs already existed up to date, it will not stop as long as they can find a platform for their coin. And besides, it is a great way of earning through "pump - & - dump" cycle so why would the devs even get tired of doing this thing?

Those ideas just come to your mind maybe because of the downtrend in the market — you're worrying. Well, I can't assure you that those things will never die, but for sure, the crypto market will become lively again.
2349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines Deports Mastermind of $33 Million Bitcoin Pyramid Scheme on: October 07, 2018, 10:33:07 PM
Quote
We reiterate our warning to all foreign criminals who are hiding in the country. The long arm of the law will eventually catch you and we will send you back to your homelands so you will be meted punishment for your crimes
Warning again? This is what I've usually noticed. In the foreign countries, our fellow Filipino will be sentenced to death after committing a crime whether intentional or just a self defense but when a foreigner committed a crime here they'll be just deported despite of the big damage they bring to us like this $33M scam. For me it is so disappointing, I don't know why it works like that? I think we should also let those bad people taste our own justice and not only leave it on others' authority.

Well, I admit that my knowledge is only limited when it comes to law and justice so maybe I'm wrong and just overreacting. I just hope our law doesn't only have long arms, it should be made of blazing iron too.
2350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach atleast $10,000 ? on: October 07, 2018, 05:58:34 AM
Yes there's 99% chance that bitcoin reaches atleast $10,000
But no one knows when...
Of course, it's very obvious. Honestly, I don't see the sense of what you said, it's just like saying that we're all gonna die but nobody knows when. Oh! Much better if you used "100%" to your prediction since there is no time range given. Roll Eyes
There is 99,99% chance that bitcoin reaches at least $50,000 and stays above $20,000
... in less than 3 years
Hi there with precognitive abilities Grin. Could you also predict my future? But kidding aside, I think you should not easily claim this as a fact because the beginners out there might believe in you. To be specific, your statements hypes them up to buy more coins without any hesitation expecting they will have large profits in the future, but in reality, there's no assurance that it will happen. Be careful with your words next time Smiley.
2351  Other / Meta / Re: Levels on education on this forum? on: October 07, 2018, 01:03:38 AM
Wow! there is only one college student who voted in the poll, I wasn't expecting that. Well, this is not the official statistics after all but honestly what I really expected from the beginning is that college students will dominate. Hmm, this happened probably because they're not just hanging around here in the Meta more often that's why they were'nt able to participate. By the way, I'm also in college too Smiley.
In the United States it's run as a business.  Students are going into debt for a worthless piece of paper.
Really? I don't think so (maybe just in your city/town). Schools are made intended for nourishing our minds, improving us as a person and not to cause us harm in any kind of manner like what you've said. But if there are students who still in debt then maybe it's not the fault of the institution any more but themselves — they really don't have a plan to study and only do a lot of immature things that's why they're repeating the shit over and over again.
College just means you obey authority and are not able to carve out a path on your own.
Okay, I respect your opinion. But for me, college is the last preparation for becoming a strong individual before we deal to the challenges of the outside world.
2352  Other / Meta / Re: please help on: October 06, 2018, 03:28:34 PM
I did not copy and paste it, I searched for references on the internet.
I study little by little, I just write what I know. and I only answer questions that I can answer.
There is a one in a million chance that your work is not copy-pasted. Based on the words you used, what you did is not only the same but the exact so even how hard you deny no one will believes in you. That was sad to say.
I don't really understand how this forum works, if it can't be fixed, I give up that account
Seems you now surrendered, at last. How this forum works? Well, you only need to be an obedient by not violating any rule and be productive by being a member with a sense. Oh I forgot, enjoy as well Cheesy.
2353  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake? on: October 06, 2018, 10:06:16 AM
the economy will be temporarily paralyzed. because of the many damaged road access and also damaged buildings which caused the economic collapse and of course that made the country's economy go down. my question is, does it have a big effect on crypto state?
I get what you are pointing about but for me the answer is NO? Calamities only caused infrastructure damage and decline/delay on the economic growth not greatly affect the crypto market simply because it's a whole different thing, not also including the fact that whole countries around the globe embrace blockchain technology. If you say that all crypto investors dump their coin at once then that is the time when the market will be damage.

Relax, earthquakes scenarios are isolated cases. No need to worry about when it comes to crypto world Grin.
how is the condition of Kripro that might occur?
What do you mean by Kripro? I'm clueless about it to be honest.
2354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rapper Soulja Boy Brags About Bitcoin Gains in New Rap Track on: October 06, 2018, 07:19:05 AM
Gangsta rappers are all about money. It doesn't matter if it's fiat money or any other form of money(cryptocurrency).
Embracing bitcoin is only temporary for them. It's just a trend. It will fade away [...]
We almost have the same sentiment Cheesy. In my opinion, I really don't think that he is not a true crypto investor (including the rest stated above). Yeah! I know that I can't support my statement with evidences but as you will think broader you might never think that a record artist like him would have an interest in geek stuffs like cryptocurrency. Both fields are not correlated to each other so it's really hard to believe (I'm not sure but that's what my intuition says).

In the music industry, you should be creative in order to maintain the fame you've got. Maybe that's why those rappers made a song with a "not so ordinary" reference because they knew that many will get curious and talk about it. Or maybe those rappers already received a talent fee/royalty in a form of crypto and made it as an inspiration in their work, who knows? Grin
2355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin of the Year ? on: October 05, 2018, 11:50:34 PM
The altcoin of the year for me was XRP Ripple. [...]
i don't agree with your statement about XRP is the year currency, i don't think so, we can see fact in market how Ethereum replace this place again
I know that Xrp didn't stay very long on the number 2 spot and beat again by Eth BUT I think we're unfair if we don't recognize or underrated its performance, what do you think? After all, it did an impressive job and made a very rare event which is enough to be the alt of the year (unless there's another who made greater on what it did) Smiley.

But well, we still have remaining two months before this year ends so too early to have the final word. Many things will still happen, I just hope it would be all positive.

If I understand your awnser,  Navi, I think that this little clock app was probably a virus?
We're still not sure if that's the main reason because IMO it's purpose (telling time) got nothing to do with a phishing app since it doesn't required filling up infos so there's no way that your account would be hacked, unless it does in your case. If it's not a phishing app then maybe it's a harmful malware or a keylogger.

I feell sorry for you, much better if you will now change your wallet to be safe. Scan your computer if it contains viruses too. By the way, how much did you lost?
2358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Weird transaction. Where are all my BTC?! on: October 04, 2018, 09:41:25 PM
Hi everybody,

I'm new here, I created my account because I have a question to Bitcoin's experimented users aha!  Grin
I'm not so "techy" and know a lot about this but I will give a try.

There are two possibilities: this happened because you're hacked or because of a human intervention. Are you sure that you are the only one who knows the username and password of your wallet? Did you filled up a suspicious form online asking vital infos like that? Because one of them might be the root of your problem.
2359  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: CALLING SR.MEMBERS ABOVE on: October 04, 2018, 04:41:08 PM
@OP ~ Aying nailed it, I hope you got it now.

Yup! You are right that low-ranked members now become more active in posting (Newbie Invasion is pretty obvious) but do you think all of their works are worth to read? Of course not. Importante ang quantity somehow, but in this matter, what matters the most is quality. Kahit sa anumang anggulo natin tignan, mas matimbang ang isang very informative post compare to a bunch of generic ones.
I get your point but don't only put the blame on the high-ranked members. Change yout point of view, kung sa tingin mo ay nakukulangan ka talaga then why don't you step up and be the role model? Thus, "Stop complaining and start working", mas maganda pakinggan di ba? Smiley
Hmm, seems you're now having fun mentioning theymos' name (as what I've observed). Well, wala namang masama na sabihin ang iyong hinaing sa iba but at least say it gently especially na ang kausap mo ay ang administrator natin.
2360  Other / Meta / Re: Can't we ban this guy already? on: October 04, 2018, 12:15:04 PM
Reports were good but better if you PM the user to tone it down, remove the Advertisement Banners and guide him on the right board(s) where his typical posts should be posted.
To be honest, you are kind but I'm a little bit concerned for your effort because giving chances on such users might be pointless in the end since it's very obvious that they've got no interest in this forum — only on accomplishing their own businesses without even considering its possible effects.

I hate judging someone but as you will look into his post history, he's hopeless. Thus, reporting him would be the best option.
