1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 21, 2019, 06:19:23 AM
Now the fight has ended, what are your thoughts regarding the fight and the future for the both of them Smiley.
This fight tells us an important lesson, that being braggart will bring you nothing Grin. I felt pity for Thurman because I'm pretty sure that on this moment he is now regretting for all the trashtalks he told to Pacquiao. But well, I admit that he is a good fighter as well for being brave to fight blow by blow against a fast opponent so props to him. I also appreciate him because he knows how to humble himself after the fight unlike other fighters such as Broner.  Anyway, Thurman was still young and this is just the beginning for him. His career is not yet over Smiley.

Now, what I'm looking forward to is Pacquiao's possible next fight. The interviewer said that the winner between Errol Spence Jr. and Shawn Porter's fight might become his next opponent. That would be an exciting match because those contenders are pretty fast and aggressive too.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto left Bitcoin because of the CIA, a theory on: July 20, 2019, 08:29:01 AM
This is another additional information about Mr. Nakamoto. But as the  title of the article implies, it's a "theory" which means "an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true."
To be honest, I'm getting tired on this drama. I mean there's already a pile of conspiracies about Satoshi and here comes another one. Well, it's understandable if most of us are really eager to solve Satoshi's mystery because it is a part of history but sometimes I realized that we're now taking it too far. Instead of getting answers we are ending up into a new question or theory which makes us feel doubted and more confused; hence I choose to stop and just enjoy the benefits of his invention. Wherever he is, I'm pretty sure that he is happy as well even without getting proper recognition since he can see that bitcoin remain alive and continue to grow Smiley.

@OP ~ C'mon! I know you include the reference but it doesn't mean you can now copy + paste some parts of the original and make it as your post. I hope you will make your next posts more genuine.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: July 20, 2019, 05:12:59 AM
I believe that some gamblers started as gamers before they move on to gambling sites, because they are much familiar in the interface and they can do it easily, gaming is their training grounds and they are more likely to become a serious gambler because gamers can stay and focus on what they are doing online.
You have a point, it could be a yes and it could be a no. But for me it still depends on the game you are playing with and the personality you have. For example, you are good in playing Dota 2 then of courese there's a high tendency that you will only make a bet on that game and that's it! But saying that a gamer suddenly become a poker player? Nah! I haven't heard a story of a Dota gamer but suddenly became a gambler after he played poker Grin. It is all about passion, so even if you are good on PC/console games and understand every online games but don't have the interest to gamble you won't become one. I'm not saying that is way impossible, my point only is that gaming and gambling is still a two different thing, they cannot be always connected to one another Smiley.
1724  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Anung plano mo pag bumaba/bumagsak ulit price ni bitcoin? on: July 19, 2019, 02:56:28 PM
We're the same except on those interest with those alts Grin. Lucky for me that today's market is not yet soaring high kasi kung talagang ganun ang nangyari ay for sure alaskado ako sa girlfriend ko na mas marami ng holdings ngayon despite na baguhan pa lang din sya lol. Nagastos ko kasi lahat ng btc ko sa thesis kaya heto back to zero. Hindi naman sa pagiging selfish but I hope sana magtagal pa ng konti ang stabilize situation of price para makaipon pa ako ng mas madami 'til -ber months when we could expect a bullish run. Don't get me wrong, gusto ko rin na mag-improve na ang market para syempre lahat ng investors ay happy and crypto became on trend once again Smiley.
1725  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [DISCUSSION] Paano Makatulong Sa Pagpigil ng Bitcoin/Crypto Investment Scams? on: July 19, 2019, 11:13:51 AM
I know what you feel bro, actually marami din akong sinalihang mga crypto related groups sa FB during my newbie days. So instead of FB, use other social media sites na lang kasi masyado ng toxic dun. I advice all of you to use Reddit, talagang puro informative dicussions, news and trends all about crypto sphere makikita mo dun Smiley.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road & Bitcoin ! on: July 19, 2019, 05:55:25 AM
It definitely made a contribution but for me it is way insignificant compared to other platforms which used the same coin. Deepweb got a strong relevance to btc back on those days and until now. Since it is is the way of making transactions there, btc gained popularity until it reach where it stands right now. However, how ironic to know that the place where btc shines is the one which also destroy its image. Many prospective investors got scared of buying not only btc but crypto in general because what comes to their mind first is that it was connected to deepweb — a place where you can found all the evil things you could ever imagine — and this is true because I experienced it personally. Some of my classmates that I tried to persuade to invest in btc share the same sentiment.

So if we compare Silk Road's or any deepweb related stuffs contribution into others, there will be a huge gap and anticipate that disadvantages are always greater than advantages.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top teams predicted to win 2019 Rugby World Cup on: July 18, 2019, 11:38:35 PM
England is a very strong team tho so I'll go for them but without that list my bet would definitely USA. I've watched their games one time and I'm pretty impressed with their performance especially their quarterback (I just assumed that positions are also the same with football), his surname is Baker if I'm not mistaken. He is so fast because once he run the ball no one can chase him Grin.
1728  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Filipino Account Review (ALL RANKS) on: July 18, 2019, 09:50:44 AM
@AlaEhBTC ~ Here's a simple advice kabayan, makakatulong ito para maiwasan mo makatanggap ng mga criticisms galing sa ibang members. If you want to quote someone's post make it sure you only include what you really need to emphasize. Kagaya na lamang sa naging reply mo, wala namang pinatutungkulan yung pasasalamat mo doon sa post ni cabalism13 na about sa pagbibigay nya ng merit, right? So why include those things on your quote? That was unnecessary to be honest. Maaari kasi itong maging sanhi ng spam accusations against you so better correct it habang maaga pa. Ang ganyang habit kasi ay medyo eye-irritating sa ibang members ng international board especially kung sobrang haba ng quote mo then your reply is just a one liner.

Instead of what you did, I think mas maganda kung ganito,

[snip]
+1, just found 1...
Better luck next time, I suggest to improve your posts.

If ever ba pwede magpasa uli?

Ayan, mas neat tignan. I hope may napulot kang aral kabayan, good luck Smiley.
1729  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Filipino Account Review (ALL RANKS) on: July 18, 2019, 07:31:44 AM
I'm pretty sure cabalism13 does. He seems fair for me when giving smerits kasi talagang pinipili nya yung may quality post and if you do not like the way he is doing this stuff then wala na tayong magagawa sa bagay na iyan. It's up to him kung gusto nya maging super meticulous sa pagpili, and besides sya naman ang sender so expect that his own standards will be followed.

Ang maganda na lang natin gawin ay take it as a challenge to become better quality posters, di ba? Just do your best and if it still wasn't good enough (parang sa kanta lang lol) then break through your limits, fo4 sure may mas ibubuga ka pa Wink.
Short but direct answer is more effective sometimes. Those attributes can be usually found from a high ranked member kaya madalas pa rin sila nabibigyan ng merit Smiley.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 16, 2019, 03:28:41 PM
[snip]
I think this mindset is all about attracting positive things on you. Like what they say in Law of Attraction, positive thoughts attract positive experience. So having a positive mindset attracts good luck into the player. Since gambling is all about luck, it is just right to have a positive mindset before gambling.
In my opinion, there is no such thing like attracting luck (that's why I don't believe on lucky charms or feng shui). Luck is an uncertainty, if it happens it happens. That's it! When you are having a positive mindset, you do not attract luck but convince yourself that you will win this time. It helps you to boost your confidence which later on increase the hope you have right now.
1731  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: July 16, 2019, 12:21:35 PM
[snip].

May point ka dyan, mali lang talaga ang nga kaalaman ng tao when it comes to bitcoin kaya need lang talaga sila e educate more about bitcoin ng sa gayun ai maiba ang tingin nila about bitcoin.
You nailed it! I can't foresee significant changes that could happen because this will root to another problem which is "How we educate our fellow about crypto?" and "Is there really someone who are willing to do so?".

Actually, I once became active persuading people to invest in crypto during my early college days.

I guess btc is for the geeks like us lang talaga lol Grin.
1732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question of the day: What is your price prediction for bitcoin ? on: July 16, 2019, 05:24:40 AM
I am pretty sure that Bitcoin will arrive 100k by the end of November and then crash again around 20-30k by February. Next Bull run to 1M.
Another fearless forecast again Roll Eyes. Honestly, I'm already done with this stuff because I really realized that it was pointless. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against price predictions because it is good somehow in a sense that you are boosting your hope and confidence. However, too much is not always good like on what you posted. It seems that you become overconfident for using the word "pretty sure". Well it's your opinion anyway so it's not my business anymore, I just hope you will not become so devastated if it doesn't happen Smiley. Good luck.

Me? I'm just wishing that our market improve even more this upcoming -ber months (please God, please!).
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creating more bitcoin on: July 16, 2019, 03:44:52 AM
I mean, 21 million isn't much.  Smiley
That's too much to be honest, it just happened why it seems we feel lack of supply because of not equal distribution. If in the real world there is a life between rich and poor people then in cryptosphere also got the same version — the life between the whales and small hodlers. Even though it is not fair from our own perspective, we can't do anything but to accept it. Maybe another reason also why we are feeling this is because of the lost bitcoins which is approximately 3-4 millions in total, what a wasteful!

Anyway, there are still remaining 3M+ to be mined, if you are not yet satisfied to your holdings then you should invest more Smiley.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=XXXXXXX;sa=summary
Yung "XXXXXXX" ay yung uid mo, which in my case is 1127008

But aside from OP's list, I guess the most committed mistake by the applicants especially those first timers is not reading the instruction/title.

I hope maiwasan natin ito mga kabayan or at least itama na once and for all Smiley.
1735  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will you use a Facebook coin? on: July 15, 2019, 04:47:58 AM
I will say NO too. A no for me not because I hate FB or whatsoever but because bitcoin was existing already so what's the essence of switching to a coin with almost the same features but riskier at the same time (e.g. privacy issues). Besides, I only prefer to use Facebook for social media purposes, nothing more nothing less, and I think it will stay that way Cheesy.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 15, 2019, 03:22:02 AM
LOL. For sure! The Rockets appear to be wasting money on Westbrook. I guess they don't need a Westbrook in their team. Harden is more than enough man to lead. But here comes another leader.

We might be seeing the first ever jump ball between teammates. LOL!  Grin
I'm thinking the same thing Grin. Westbrook is a PG and Harden is an SG and can play as a PG as well, so what gonna happen if they're both inside? There would be an imbalance for sure not mentioning that these players are starving for an MVP spot so expect that probably one of them get more selfish inside the court which may ruin their harmony as a team.

I really hope this won't happen lol Grin.
1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: July 15, 2019, 01:05:33 AM
Am not optimistic that all altcoins would grow in price, some might grow why there is no chance at all for some to make any sort of growth.
In this attributes I say sell Shit coins and get real coins
Wait, hold up! How do you say that your coin what you are holding is a real shitcoin or not? I guess a good idea to determine this ia to analyze the previous price trend if it really improves or just falling down then rise a little bit then continue to fall down again Smiley. Try also waiting a little bit more, wait first to btc to soar before deciding. As btc rises, alt tend to rise right? If your alt rise as well by that time then good for you but if its not then I think better dump it Grin.
1738  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: July 14, 2019, 08:58:27 AM
With the blockchain trend going on as strong as the moment, is it possible that blockchain will replace banks any time soon in the future?
It definitely can but the question right now is that will it be? I"m not being so pessimistic here but knowing that cryptocurrency got so many enemies such as the banks, government, businessmen etc. it seems impossible to achieve the worldwide crypto revolution. Even me wasn't convinced by the testimony of an anonymous self-proclaimed time traveller which says that bitcoin will be the the currency used in the whole world on the year 20XX (I'm sorry I forgot the exact year Grin). I do not believe on his statement not only because he he said that he was a "time traveller" Roll Eyes but also because I find a hard time sinking in my mind that all of the nations unite as one and made such decision. For me that's insane, so ideal.

Anyway I still believe on crypto's potentials, but then again its future still remain uncertain.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 14, 2019, 03:37:51 AM
@Saint-loup ~ Aw, you're right on your prediction mate! De Randamie won by TKO against Ladd. However, I just felt that it was a very early stoppage, I mean yeah De Randamie landed a very strong puch which knocked down Ladd but I do believe that she can hang on. IMO that was a bad stoppage coming from Dean, I was a little upset for that.

The other exciting match of the night was Faber v.s. Simon. The Hall of Famer proved us once again that he really deserve tto become one. Simon got KO in just 46 sec. Wow Shocked. He only show that he is not only a deadly submissioner but also a ferocious striker.

Congrats on the winning bettors out there Smiley.
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia, Philippines, Indonesia and India support crypto the most on: July 14, 2019, 01:07:10 AM
i dont know if government support bitcoin, but im sure if they still make some research about it. they apply bitcoin as investation. so, we use it as instation and trading, not as transaction. but people here is very support bitcoin, mostly they can change their economy because of this. we still wait when bitcoin can be use to pay something and hope if some big store provide that service
Same here in our country. Our government has no official statement of legalizing nor banning the use of crypto, in my perspective they are just in the neutral side. I guess they already realized that it could help our economy that's why they are not contradicting crypto and just only warn its countrymen about the risks of investing into it. However, I'm still not contented with the adaption we attained right now because I know we can achieve more. The lack of eagerness for the introduction of this technology is the main concern here, still few knew about btc but i hope our crypto community grow further as time goes by.
