2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2023, 02:45:25 PM
If intentionally done and the wild social media attacks take place it will mean of their job, I see your point about that and maybe refs are already aware though we can't tell if they can take that risk, most probably if the money that is being offer is really enticing and can't be ignored, those refs can take it and deal with it.

Even they are risking their job, they are willing to take that to have an instant bulk of money in their paycheck.

With the nature of their job, I think they won't hesitate to take the offer behind the curtain as long as they see some advantage for them the offer. That's why even the Refs are paid to let the other fighter win, we cannot really see how they perform their tricks but we are certain it's there, especially when the fights are close and they find a way to give the other fighter an advantage like for example letting him hit his opponents in the back head which truly has huge damage if constantly done.

I think referee could be as corrupt as the organizations themselves, we have seen some bad calls to the point that it's clear to us that they are biased. Speaking of referee, what do you think of using reply in boxing?

In any case, it's really hard to really have a perfect fight without the referee and the judges messing it up, specially great fights like the Akaho vs Franco recently wherein it was really controversial scoring.

That has become a norm in boxing, don't expect too much, just enjoy the fight, and always believe that sometimes decisions of the refs are not in our favor. Even since in the past, there were allegations already that sports are corrupt, maybe because people are also betting that's why they fix the game to give the bookies huge money, or worst if the fighters themselves would try to sell the fight.

You see no reason for referees using a headset inside the ring but when they do, that is something to really wonder why. There were just hypotheses about referees getting instructions from the top where they could just raise the hand of a fighter that obviously fated to win even before the fight started.

If the money is worth I guess they can be morally negotiated if that is the right term.

2342  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Question on: January 05, 2023, 07:40:19 AM
Currently this known crypto casino has disabled my withdrawals.
Their reason: The Game Provider needs to confirm that there are no issues with the winner round, after that you are able to withdraw again.

Is this normal? I never heard of anything like this before.
I asked them an ETA
Their response: We do not have an exact ETA since they are a third-party company.
I have seen such cases before, but since we don't know the casino in question, the routine may or may not be normal depending on the casino you are dealing with. Have you tried contacting the game provider? I believe they have a website or customer support.

Try contacting them if it helps you with any information about the ETA.

If I remember OWL has this issue as well after the user won an astonishing amount.

My advice is if OP is given access to his account which he could bet again while not allowed to withdraw yet, don't play until withdrawal is resumed and the admin investigation with the 3rd party is over. It's quite unusual already that they need a 3rd party though.
2343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coin caused Solana price to rise by 40% in a week on: January 05, 2023, 07:34:47 AM

The bull run year is too far yet one would have to be very careful in getting into meme like this, especially in SOL which is almost abandoned by investors. If you get in with this game, make sure you are ready to sell even if it doesn't hit yet the ATH base on RSI because it will take a nose dive.

Memecoins are in every platform but there are memecoins that didn't really make noise despite their huge leap. But BONK of SOL is pretty much hyped to make a crowd hype.
2344  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Louisiana Begins Requiring Government ID to Access Online Porn on: January 05, 2023, 06:46:04 AM
KYC measures just for jerk-off material?  Give me a break, lawmakers.

I don't see it as bad, because we have a generation of kids who start watching porn as young as 10 years old or younger. How would you try to prevent them from watching porn at such a young age? Or don't you care?

It's the parent's responsibility really. But hard to prevent them when there are playboy and hustler magazines still but at least this will not require them to submit government IDs. A lawmaker's ID landed in the database of a porn site, it will be a lot worse for the lawmaker lol.

But then anyway, regardless of this law, kids will always find a way. They could be going to free porn channels instead where there is no monitoring they can do. Telegram channels have tons of porn.
2345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban wants to buy more Bitcoins on: January 05, 2023, 06:09:47 AM
I think you made a mistake in the title of the thread, it would be more eye-catching to put the second part:

He
Quote
says gold investors are ‘dumb’

It would be interesting to see a debate between him and Peter Schiff.

That he also thinks that bitcoin is like an enhanced digital gold makes me think that we are on the right track despite the price drop, if many billionaires come to think the same, it is only a matter of time before mass adoption and a considerable revaluation.

I think there was already a debate about this with Saylor on the BTC side. Schiff is just like an old dog like Buffet who don't adopt. But you could understand that because even central banks today are buying gold and preparing for the Gold standard due to the global shift.

Distinguishing Peter Schiff's shilling of gold discussions, I think his views on what the markets are doing are actually better than Cubans. Especially his idea of what the FED is doing currently and so forth.

Cuban is not a new celeb getting into crypto, he had been advocating not just BTC for a long time.
2346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: January 05, 2023, 05:54:05 AM
so duckdice is on gray list while there is more going on recently against them on forum.
I was not following what is happening with DuckDice in last weeks but I can always change my list, move them in red casinos, or remove from list if they improve.
Let me check what is going on and I will try to post update during this week if I see something alarming.
I see last thing they posted was Merry Christmas in the end of Decvember.

Sounds reasonable if they have improved. It is hard for a tainted casino to get thier reputation back like having a fresh start with a clean slate when they have already been marked red. But Duckdice started great afaik they may have to take a hard route to resolve accusations since people are not very forgiving.

You didn't put Fortunejack on the grey list. KYC is already accepted in this industry, I think it's now just up to the users if they fill it up.
2347  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 04, 2023, 05:17:41 PM

^ Works the same as computers as they all need RAM where it stores the apps that currently run. The more RAM, the faster your phone works, and easy to run graphic games.

~
Apparently, you are lucky in life due to the fact that you live in a place where it is safe and there are many more gambling establishments and casinos in your city.   Smiley
But things are not so good in all cities of the world.  I'm not talking about the fact that in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro it's not only possible to play on the street, but it's dangerous to even take your phone out of your pocket.  A moment - and the kid is already running away with your mobile phone or throwing it to his friend accomplice.  And he runs away ... So what kind of game can there be?   Angry

As for official Android casino apps, there really aren't that many of them.  And playing on not quite official ones seems to me quite risky.  Especially if there are quite large stakes at stake.  Here, of course, you must first thoroughly deal with the application.  At least I tested it for the withdrawal of some amounts in cryptocurrency.  Maybe several times with an increase in the amount.
After that, feel free to play.

Nay! That's a different attack. You'd definitely not going to try playing with your phone in certain areas. This is not just happening in Janeiro. We do have some petty criminals in our area, they are also this bold in snatching phones from students riding buses.

It would be tragic if you have all your funds in a mobile wallet and you save your private keys in the Note app inside the phone which I also do.  Cheesy

2348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memecoin and utility - impossible or next stage of crypto development on: January 04, 2023, 03:30:23 PM
I think memecoins may have utility of donations and maybe gambling. These are main 2 areas I can think of. As memecoins tend to use very cheap and quick Blockchains, they can be very useful methods of donating people or funding (similar to patreon). Same utilities may be very beneficial for online casinos as well, I especially love cheap withdraw options. These are main problems that can be solved through memecoins and their fast blockchains.
LTC and XRP also offer a faster transaction at a lower fees, I'd rather go to this option than to use those memetokens.
Donation drive might also trigger greed and probably that memetoken will ended up as a scam project just like the other projects before. Only DOGE seems to be more successful when it comes to utility as many gambling site accept this one but if we are going to talk about new memetoken here, I guess its too risky to deal with them in a bear market where hype is not that effective.

Never really saw a platform where people send Doge as a tip for a meme. Doge has considerable value if indeed people send tips to users who create memes, many users will really be creating lots of memes.

What I saw in some meme telegram channels was that they were just posting memes in the chat and just users laughing at them. I don't see anyone sends Shib nor Doge. But like any other coins out there, these memecoins has a place for coisn to bet on casinos.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 02:07:44 PM
For that, if you don't want to continue to contribute to the addictive nature of online gambling sites, you need to avoid it.
• Don't often sit and chat with people who often win big at online casinos, curious, wanting to try always haunts you all the time, before you try, after you try your addiction will appear.
• Don't often watch slot ads that win big, you will be fascinated to try.

In my opinion, the factors above are more expensive than alcohol and getting drunk when you bet gambling.

Moving away from the seats of people who win big is easy to do, you just have to fight your urge and just try going to a smoking area or eating something in a restaurant. But even their ads suddenly just pop up and the sound of coins somehow is harder to not look at.

But then again if you are already trying to keep away from these I think you are already addicted and was just trying to prevent getting it worse and curing yourself.
2350  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin banking is more preferable than normal bank. on: January 04, 2023, 01:22:58 PM

Or banks not allowing you to withdraw your money. It had been happening all over the world not just in the country with an authoritarian government.

Upon learning all that you have all the rights to your BTC and bank runs happening all over the world, you would protect yourself and not put all your eggs anymore in a bank but in your wallet where you have the private key.

2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: January 04, 2023, 08:19:34 AM
Damn Pacman is still up to make noise in MMA! Can't imagine how much would Pacman's contract will be for Rizin. He is paid more than 100 million of USD in each boxing match, I doubt Dana white can afford him, and least of all RIZIN which is just in Japan. Who is he fighting?

If Logan is still up to it and can still face the public despite thier scams, I think Pacman will fight either Logan.
2352  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 04, 2023, 06:32:16 AM
Sportsbet have android app software that works great, but I like more using desktop version on bigger screen.
Mobile apps are great if you want to make bets on the road or when you are not home, but be careful what you are doing in public.

Using the desktop version is a relief because the eyes can work optimally and not get tired quickly. People also like to use the desktop version and the mobile or app version when they are out of the house. But it's better not to play gambling in public to avoid things we don't want because we don't know whether we will be safe from being targeted by crime or whether someone is stalking us to seize our cellphones.
I am one person who likes to gamble using a cell phone when outside the house and it is actually not recommended to gamble in the open. but even though I often gamble outside the house using my cell phone, I always look around. if the situation is very busy I don't open the gambling application, but if it's quiet at that time, I will open the gambling application to start betting.

well actually I also like to gamble on the desktop but I'm more often outside the house. so my best option is just to use the app on my phone to gamble.
Yes, it is a good practice to always look around before opening a gambling application. We don't want to cause problems for ourselves, especially if some don't like to see us gambling in that public space. So we can know for ourselves where we can gamble and don't have to do gambling activities.

And if you are a person who often plays gambling using an application on your cellphone, you have to make sure that the application is safe and only downloads directly from the site. That will keep us away from problems like viruses and others.
but actually gambling using an android application when outside the house in my city is very safe. I mean in my city right now there is a lot of slot gambling, almost every place where young people and middle-aged people gamble play slots in several public places using an Android application.
so when I gamble outside the home it is very safe no one will dislike me while gambling or disturb my safety.

to download Android applications, I still choose to download via websites that are more genuine and safe from phishing malware. but only a few applications, the rest I gamble directly through gambling sites.

But it is safe to connect to public wifi especially since you have a BTC wallet also in your phone.

There is no android or iOS app yet that is provided by a popular bitcoin casino so far. I would be confident to actually play on apps if Stake.com or Fortunejack. I tried googling, and there are pages that allow us to download thier app but these pages are not official casino pages so there really is a threat downloading these casino apps better be careful.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 06:07:58 AM
What other factors do you know contribute to form addictive gambling?

Having money in the bank account can contribute.  Cheesy

Blaming the bank for his gambling addiction would be funny though but true. If he has no money he may not be able to gamble anymore. It's just going to be worse if he commits a crime in order to get some money like robbing the bank and then gamble the money. That would really be the worse kind of addiction.

Having no job I think can be considered a factor contributing to gambling addiction. If one person is just idle all the time and has no trade skills, he will have some vices.
2354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 03, 2023, 05:29:23 PM

What about the energy crisis, does anyone also see this energy crisis as to be a setup for a BTC mining ban?

Government can monitor the grid and sees where hashes come from which they could possibly ban Bitcoin by banning mining its going to be a hard battle for them but if they are going to be brutal with this law, many miners will really stop too and I guess this is what they meant when they ask global help.

Fortunately for BTC, there are countries open to BTC and using BTC to thier advantage in the economic war.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 03, 2023, 04:19:39 PM
When I read this I thought by saying lone or team sports bettor you meant team sports like football vs lone sports like boxing Cheesy
Since you mean group betting I'm more of a lone bettor. I don't ask for other people's opinions and prefer to rely on myself but there are times when I bet with a group of people on a mach that we are going to watch together and in that case I follow the group.

That's what I understood also just by the topic.
Anyway. Users who have been reading replies from boxing matches and predictions I guess couldn't be considered a team still since you are just gathering information from the ideas of the betting community.

I can see polls winning and have predicted right. I can't just ignore those polls. But I also watch boxing analysts, its important to learn what they see that we don't.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 03, 2023, 03:29:00 PM
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pUoocOM5iQw

Nate Diaz has taught Dana White some slap moves, and here is how Dana used it. On the video you could see that Dana has slapped his wife several times. Was it due to they both being drunk? Was is sort of defensive or counter reaction, on a slap that his wife gave him first? Was it due to someone screwed in marriage ? I dont know, but that is not what a man should ever do.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaAYPvvx7xA - here is a bit more about it. Damn Dana looked warried. "It is all about kids, and family" - Dana smells fire in his family.

He keep repeating they were more concerned about thier kids as if this were already settled a long time ago. They were on vacation, they must have been on good terms while they travel to that alcohol house, and then all of a sudden they slap each other.  Nice powerslap promo Mr. White.

It's a counter-reaction. Dana is a public macho figure, what would everyone think if he would just let it slide?
I bet that's what he is thinking. Still, people will have a say in someone who will hurt a woman in this manner.
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pure Bitcoin Speculation Dead by 2023? on: January 03, 2023, 06:26:06 AM

Someone is always going to be trading either spot or futures for BTC price, it's always going to be speculative just as any other currency whether in a bear or bull market. Even the USD is constantly speculated in foreign exchange.

But this conference surely is inviting more investors of crypto and they are all going to be speculative as well knowing that prices can take a dive after a bull run.
2358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: January 03, 2023, 06:07:10 AM
i believe davis has better advantage when it comes to prep for this fight as he has a tune-up fight before garcia, whereas, garcia cancelled his fight with gesta. which should be a very good one to test his preps.
Nah, I don't think so, Garcia wants to prepare well for this fight, he said he wants to focus on his fight with Davis that's why he canceled the fight, so that means he believes that his decision was right and he will fully focus on his upcoming big fight. Anyway, let's just find out on the fight date, we will definitely know who's ready or not.
I would do the same if I were in his place. Gervonta Davis is not an easy opponent so it is better to be prepared earlier than his opponent. If for @AmoreJaz Davis has advantage because of this tune up and so is Garcia. He can study Davis technique, movement or current fighting style from this fight. Not to mention his mind will focus only on this fight.

I don't think there will be advantage for Davis just because he will be facing Hector Garcia, he might be the more active between the two but Ryan is probably training very hard already for this fight and most likely has the strategy in mind or see what the weakness of Davis is. And for sure he will be in front to see the fight between Tank vs Hector to validated the weaknesses that they have seen in tapes.

So we can say as well that Ryan could be in the advantageous situation as well watching the fight live and not the tapes anymore.

And for the betting public, unfortunately, the only line listed for us, is ML, so not worth it, unless you are looking for a upset as Hector Garcia is almost 8:1 underdog in this fight.

That's a bonus for Ryan, he can with the flight closely. He'd be looking for ways to last longer and probably until 12 rounds which could be the result Ryan by Decision. Or it will be Davis by TKO.

Ryan would want to keep his distance after all he has the reach and is quick in throwing his jabs and then a 1-2 combo whenever Davis is distracted and then back at the distance again.
2359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: History Repeats ignore the FUD 2018 Netflix Show says BTC is garbage @ 6.5K on: January 03, 2023, 05:51:30 AM

Bill Maher tells BTC jokes as well and he is anti-BTC and people laugh at those jokes too. He may still even if BTC stands still after this worse-ever crisis. It's just a joke but people are going to brand comedians with their remarks about it.

The beauty of being a comedian is that even if they tend to be wrong, they could just say it's a joke.  Another cycle will pass in 2025 and $6500 is way behind and this video will keep floating every bear market to remind people.
2360  Economy / Economics / Re: The Taste of an Economic Downturn on: January 02, 2023, 04:43:46 PM

With every product, today having to be shipped to deliver and gas prices skyrocketing, it's expected to see prices drastically affect daily lives.
Importing Onions can be a solution, especially with Chinese onions, they still are big suppliers of just about anything and cheap as well.

It may affect the farmers in a country but this is at least what the government can do to maintain stability. Onions are necessary for cooking, heck every day we eat onions. We could go to war for onions.
