2361  Other / Meta / Re: removing sig.campaign? on: October 04, 2018, 10:25:51 AM
many of the old members here having hard time fighting shitposters, nonsene comments and useless thoughts...
Oh! You mean like this post of your own? Roll Eyes But kidding aside, if you are really concerned in this forum then fix yourself and don't act like you're an additional burden.

actually sig cmapaign is useless or barely noticed..members here are more focused on the content.so the sig. within tge profile are worthless,so why bother?
Come on, wake up dude. We all (only except you probably) know that sig campaigns is not worthless. No need for further explanations, others already did. So now cut this crap once and for all.

But if you hold your stance in this matter then I just want to say "Be ready". Expect more rants to come, good luck.

Ps: I'm not mad at you, I just frankly tell my opinions. I know that we both came from the same local board but this not means that I will now tolerate kind of deeds like this one. Nonetheless, my respect is still in yours.
2362  Other / Meta / Re: [Merit Analysis] How many Merit received users on: October 03, 2018, 10:38:39 PM
I think that the 3 missing ones are Full Members too. I've seen 5 Full Members amongst the top 100 merited (@theyoungmillionaire, @pitipawn, @abhiseshakana, @Husna QA, @zentdex). There's an additional 2 that are also Copper Members(@nullius and @Coolcryptovator).
Thanks for sharing. I will definitely visit their profiles and find tips on how to post the "expert" way Grin.

Wow! I'm surprised that theyoungmillionaire belong to the list. He is also a Filipino like me and I can say that he is really deserving for this since he's a true active member of our local board so congrats for him. Also, I'm just glad because he prove to the world that not all us are shitposters/spammers and can contribute to the crypto world as a whole.
2363  Other / Meta / Re: [Merit Analysis] How many Merit received users on: October 03, 2018, 01:40:21 PM
5. Top 100 Merited Profiles

Top 100 profiles received 43237 merit. In percentage terms it is 17.89% of the total number of merit.
Code:
Users Ranks:
Amount           Merit            Per cent of the amount of Top 100

Founder         1               1216                          2.81%

What?! How come that a very small number of forum members could be able to achieved thousands of merits? Let me cite an example based on the data gathered. Only two Full Member accounts are the main responsible for getting 1924 merits in total which for me was so unbelievable! Seems that they are highly intelligent up to the extent of reaching this point, no doubt that both of them are role models Shocked.  May I know their names?

Anyway, you said that these list are the Top 100 Merited Profiles but if you will sum up all of them (users ranks and special ranks) you will only come up with 97. Where are the remaining three?
2364  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Give me advice please. on: October 03, 2018, 12:25:50 PM
Opo medyo naka offend ka po kasi alam mo na plagiarist yung binigyan nya ng merit at ipinagmalaki nya yung post nya na di nya namamalayan na plagiarist pala yung nabigyan nya ng merit.
Hmm, maybe you are just overthinking. There is only a very small chance that OP will react the way like that. I think what might happen is that OP will thank clear cookies and probably gave a merit for his good deed instead of getting mad, who knows? Cheesy. But well, I'm not in the right position to say this so I will not put a period on this.
Kaya yung pag popost mo na pagtatama sa mali medyo insulto mayroon kasing ibang paraan para maiwasan na mainsulto ang OP.
What?! Para sayo, talaga bang insulto tung ginawa ng kapwa Pilipino natin? I don't think so, mahinahon naman ang pagkasabi nya sa accusation nya plus with supporting evidences pa, anong mali dun? Wala. Dude if I were you I will relax. Hindi naman porket may itinama ka na high rank member dito sa forum ay ikaw na ang magiging kontrabida sa istorya. I still do believe that there are still superiors here who remain their feet on the ground, not bubble-headed at hindi mahihiyang umamin na nagkamali sila because they knew to themselves na tao pa rin sila — inevitable for committing mistakes. And besides, karamihan naman ng mga members dito ay hindi butthurt tulad nang inaakala mo particularly outside our local board (as what I've observed). They are just being realistic and not too fragile as long as you have respect on them so wala dapat ipangamba.
Ito po ay malaking parusa dahil plagiarism po ang kaso at banned forever po ang member na yan.
Don't be bothered, that Mark X deserved to be banned. Malinaw naman sa rules na bawal ang plagiarism di ba? So bakit niya pa rin ginawa? Roll Eyes. Yung mga katulad nya ang nagsisilbing problema dito sa forum nowadays at dapar lang na matanggal sila.

Ps: Sorry if my statement sounds rude. I don't mean it.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many bounties are you currently participating on: October 02, 2018, 10:49:41 PM
Really? You can join several bounty campaigns simultaneously? Never heard of that before. But well, seems true based on your statements. Before, I thought bounty campaigns and sig campaigns got the same rules except to the duration before getting the payment, now I realized that I was wrong Cheesy. My question is, how will you wear all the signatures for each bounty you participated?
Personally, I participate in 10 companies, 10 different ico. No, it is still not a full-time job for me
i think it is not enough if you are doing only 3 campaign, there are people doing more than 50 campaign.
I am currently participating in only five bounty campaigns. I was actually doing 10 bounties before but I carefully choose those five

Guys, if I were you, I'll try signature campaigns other anything else simply because it provides you greater amount of reward (but with a higher post quota of course), less chance to encounter scams since most of them are managed by reputable members of this forum (e.g. Zapo, yahoo62278), and fast earnings since payments are done weekly.

But before joining, make sure first that you are a good quality poster, active and got couple of merits too (usually 10 and up) because most of the time the campaigns that are running now have a merit requirement. Good luck Smiley.
2366  Other / Meta / Re: Descriptions for sub-boards on: October 02, 2018, 12:29:53 AM
Simple yet very helpful suggestion. Through this, incidents of inappropriate/unrelated post on particular boards will now be more avoided.
People seem to be mistaking Meetups for "two dudes hanging out in a basement" or something.
Really? Does anybody here has that way of thinking? That was insane and funny at the same time Grin. (Maybe I'm just not too dirty minded)

How about the child board Ivory Tower? Actually, I'm intrigued why it's called like that (my bad, I'll search it later). This should have a description also because others might think it was a tower made of ivory or a tower made by a girl with the name Ivory.

Ps: I'm sorry if I'm making no sense at all.
2367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the King ! Why ? on: October 01, 2018, 11:24:45 PM
Bitcoin is known as the king(father) of crypto currencies , but why is that so?
Let's cut the long story short.

When it comes to technical aspects, we might say that other alts outrank btc because some of them have capabilities of transacting more payments, much lower fees, higher market caps and other outstanding features depending to the platform they have. And yet, btc remains the king, why? Simply because it is the pioneer, the most adopted, the zenith. Even how hard the other alts try to improve their platform, they still remain on btc's shadow as long as they don't have the power enough to change people's perspective.
2368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: online store accepting cryptocurrencies for worldwide shipping on: October 01, 2018, 12:10:44 PM
My intuition says that this shop is not shady, I don't have any bad feeling about it so maybe I'll consider this if I want to buy something (like the moon lamp). Does anyone already tried to buy there? I just want to verify if they really got real reviews.
(Or) you are promoting the website.
He is a new account and all of his post pertains to this shop so probably yes. Relax, there is nothing wrong of advetising Grin. The only mistake he did is he posted on the wrong board.

@OP ~ For that reason, you should move this into the Marketplace section.
2369  Other / Meta / Re: Racism and bigotry on: October 01, 2018, 01:54:11 AM
At OP, if you can't handle the heat then go out of the kitchen, as simple as that. Don't get me wrong, actually I'm against to any form of discrimination too. Yeah! I know that you are only just bothered and want to show some concern regarding this issue, what I'm only pointing is you should not feel like you're the main responsible for world peace. Do not please somebody to change based on the concept of your own ideal world, if someone's rude then ask him once but if he remains the same then so be it — ignore and mind your own business.
People who join here for trolling and not writing a single post outside of off-topic or politics should be banned imo.
Indeed, or at least give them a temporary ban for becoming an unproductive member of this forum. For sure this punishment will serve as their lesson and reminder that this Bitcointalk.org and not "RantsandSh*ttalk.org" Undecided.
It's no secret this forum is filled with dark skinned spammers (phillipinos, nigerians, venezuelans, indonesians), just so they can earn a few peanuts.
I'm clueless about your skin color and to the race where you belong BUT I'm sure of this one thing, you're also a sh*t poster. Are you even aware of that? Roll Eyes
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feel like quitting on: September 30, 2018, 02:08:56 AM
Honestly there are more reasons to quit
Ask yourself again, I'm pretty sure that there are more reasons to keep moving on Smiley. Just learn to change your point of view — be an optimistic instead of being pessimistic.
Literally like I am far on achieving my goals. Can someone help me on what strategy I will do to get some merit points and how to do when the market price is low?
Knowing that the market is on a bad condition right now and if you will not work hard as well then your goals will really seem so far away. "No pain, No gain" dude so study more and more for you to able to make good quality posts and to become a wiser crypto investor in general.
Me too, felt also of quitting in Bitcoin because I'm just thinking that I can't get merit anymore
What!? Are you even serious with that? You will quit engaging with btc just because you can't get a single merit? You have a wrong belief my friend. Bitcoin is not all about here, this is only a forum discusiing crpto stuffs nothing more and nothing less. Your reason for quitting is very shallow, why don't you go outside and explore the market. Invest, Trade or Mine; earning is not only through bounty campaigns. Remember, don't limit yourself only as a forum member, you are a free investor after all.
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is all green. Can we make it gain more? on: September 29, 2018, 01:01:47 AM
What actions can lead to a higher rise? What do you think?
Having more investors of course. No doubt that attaining this will lead the market to a drastic change but the hard question is how can we effectively encourage the new ones to start buying and the oldies to invest more? For that, I think educating them pieces to pieces is still the most efficient way compare to social media advertising or other means.

Aside from that, it could also be a great help if we become more active spreading the good news — crypto's positive impact to our society — instead of FUDs.
2372  Other / Meta / Re: Where I can edit my signature? on: September 28, 2018, 06:24:11 PM
I must say that you're a good digger Shocked. Thanks for this, I now reported him as well.

Thank you a lot! But next time make a research before do something. You have reported me by mistake.
Who would even think that it's your own blog? No one of course. So don't blame us if we tend to report you, we only made decisions based on your actions. If you just include the reference or at least note a clarification from the very beginning then I guess this won't come this far.
Most of problems can be solved if administration will restrict bounty activity on board.
Do you mean bounty campaigns? If yes then how ironic to think that you want such restrictions but made a thread asking where can you edit your signature like you are planning to join one Roll Eyes.
2373  Other / Meta / Re: Where I can edit my signature? on: September 28, 2018, 04:05:40 PM
We have the same sentiment. I am really doubting that it is OP's original post, my sense tells me that he plagiarized but the problem is I cannot find the link of the original article despite of browsing the internet for couple of moments (I hope somebody could be able to if ever our presumption is true).

So as of now, he doesn't deserve to be judged. You shouldn't reported him simply because he remains Not Guilty. Reporting someone's post without supporting evidences is a biased action, be more careful next time.
2374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google has allowed the advertisement of cryptocurrency back! on: September 28, 2018, 10:39:30 AM
No doubt, this is definitely a good news for those exchange platforms being said because they will have a greater chance of getting clients since there are millions of people accessing Google everyday and it's a little bit impossible that no one will even got interested to their ads, but wait there's more. Google has an outstanding reputation, if your product/service attached into it's name somehow then I'm sure others will trust to your product/service too.

But when it comes in general, I doubt this news will provide a great impact in the current market situation. For me, it doesn't have enough hype to pull up the price of cyptos. I guess we still need to endure this bearish days further Sad.
2375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be like Bill on: September 28, 2018, 09:22:30 AM
In these bearish days, you only have two options: whether you'll wait for the next dip even how long it takes in order to avoid losses or investing now despite of the loss, hodl while the price still goes up and cash out when you finally recover your investment with additional good profits. Actually, there's nothing wrong whatever you choose from those two options just only make sure that it suits to your current status. If you have a lot of time for waiting then go for the first option but if you are afraid of missing the boat and always in a hurry then do the risk — go with the latter option.
2376  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ⚡BQT Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post ⚡ on: September 28, 2018, 06:23:00 AM
I feel a little bit bad because I'm one of the three Full member participants who fail to comply for this week's post quota Sad. It is because of being a late enrollee and busy sched (as usual). My apologies to Zapo, I will strive even harder.

Ps: There is no excuses , just telling why this happened.

Oh, and the max post for the following weeks will be reduced to 20.

I understand. By the way, I received the payment already, thanks Zapo.

Quote from: tokeweed link=topic=5037560.msg46153560#msg46153560
That's the thing.  I'm doing that and I haven't found one newbie that deserved a merit.
Oh boy! This where the real challenge starts Grin. I hope you can still be able to find someone.

What if you try some kind of deduction. You can pick only boards where a good quality conversations are occurring (e.g. Meta, Serious Discussion, Technical Dicussions) and give merits to those newbies who are participating because it is very rare to see a newbie having the guts to lure on boards with high-quality discussions. Or try to avoid every single megathread because it is usually the den of spammers, only focus on fresh and meaningful threads and try to find for a deserving newbie. By doing these, you will be able to minimize the scope of your work which results to less fatigue feeling and connsume of time.

2378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What business industry will benefit the most from cryptocurrency? on: September 28, 2018, 02:21:10 AM
Early this evening I was at a friend's housewarming party and I overheard a couple of his other friends talking about cryptocurrency. Since I do not know any of them, I decided to lurk behind and listen. One of them explains what cryptocurrency is and how it works until the whole conversation turned to the industries that will benefit from it the most. The group suddenly went quiet.
It is hard to believe that they don't even have a single clue on what you asked unless they just only knew few things about crypto but not a total crypto enthusiast at all (Probably).
If more and more companies start accepting bitcoins and altcoins as payments, which sector do you think will benefit the most from it?

Of course the industry which will be risking to embrace blockchain technology. But stating a specific industry? It's very hard to tell. One thing is for sure, only the braver industry which are willing to risk against crypto's volatility will have the chance of succeeding.

Anyway, my guess is anything related to food industry such as convenient stores, restaurants and fast food chains.
2379  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Maligayang Pagdating sa Bitcointalk! (Welcome Message of Theymos - Tagalog) on: September 28, 2018, 01:17:48 AM
The damage has been done but it doesn't mean that you can't make it right anymore. Yung fact na patuloy mo paring ginagawa despite of the advices around you, nagiging self-centered ka na in short — Admitting that you're wrong is the first step to change.

Keep up the good attitude dude. I see that you're improving and the first merit you received will served as the proof Smiley. Just a friendly advice, further polish the grammar, spelling and use of punctuation marks whether using English language or our own language.
2380  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What websites on crypto do you visit everyday? on: September 28, 2018, 12:52:55 AM
Just three websites: Coindesk to get updated with the latest world news, Coinmarketcap for updated crypto prices, Bitpinas for the local news, and this forum for reading tips and guidelines. I also visit r/Bitcoin sometimes every time I log in to my Reddit account.

I hope these helps, good luck.
